Huge thanks to Scatha the Worm for the second pic.
Note: When in flight, Pavoroc’s train constantly “sheds” sparkles, leaving a short trail behind him.
Personality:
Pavoroc is immensely confident in his fighting ability, almost to the point of being cocky. He’ll taunt foes on occasion, often in an attempt to lure them into compromising situations. He’s also very observant, and is quick to figure out and exploit any advantages he might have.
Attacks:
- Avian weaponry: Pavoroc has all the standard weaponry of a bird of prey, and then some. The most obvious of these is his large, robust beak. He uses this to deliver powerful, hatchet-like blows. His talons are also immensely powerful, capable of piercing even the toughest hides. He also has a sharp spur on the back of each leg, just above the rear toe.
- Rainbow Ray: A large, multicolored beam fired from Pavoroc’s chest, which he can charge to make about twice as powerful. An uncharged shot is comparable to Heisei Godzilla’s Atomic ray.
- Wing Lightning: Pavoroc can fire numerous bolts of electricity from his wings. Individually, these are rather weak (about on par with Showa King Ghidorah’s Gravity beams), but the numbers make up for it. Especially useful for attacking large numbers of weak opponents.
- Bladestorm: Pavoroc vigorously flaps his wings, whipping up hurricane winds. Not only are these winds strong enough to topple light- to middleweight monsters, but they contain invisible energy blades which slice the foe a couple times per second.
- Rainbow Barrage: Pavoroc raises and spreads his train and launches a barrage of explosive energy spheres of varying colors from the “eyes” on his tail feathers. He must be on the ground to use this.
- Rainbow Destroyer: Basically a supercharged version of the Rainbow Ray. Pavoroc’s entire body pulses with rainbow-colored energy before he fires a massive beam from his entire body. Limited to 2 uses per battle.
- Phoenix Destruction: (Banned from UCA matches) Pavoroc’s entire body glows with rainbow-colored energy, and he slams into his foe at full speed. All of the energy is released on impact, resulting in a gigantic explosion capable of leveling the terrain for a several mile radius. The attack leaves him completely drained and more often than not injured, so as one would guess it’s used only as an absolute last resort.
Powers:
- Flight: Pavoroc can fly at up to mach 5.
- Eagle Eyes: As one would expect, Pavoroc has incredible vision. This keen eyesight extends into the infrared and ultraviolet bands, as well. He can also choose to “switch off” receptors for given parts of the spectrum, so that he only sees in a desired spectrum. So, for example, he could choose to see only infrared light at night.
- Energy capture/redirection: Pavoroc can “catch” energy beams that strike his body, making them scatter and swirl around him. Once he’s captured a beam, he can do one of several things: disperse it harmlessly, condense and amplify it by approximately double and send it back at the foe in the form of a white beam, add the energy into one of his own beams, or release it in all directions in the form of a pulse. Whenever he captures a beam, whatever properties the beam has (nuclear, heat, electrical, freezing, etc) are negated as the energy is transformed into pure energy. He can hold the energy from several beams at once.
- Dazzle: Pavoroc spreads his wings and train, unleashing a dazzling flash of numerous colors to blind the foe.
- Communication: Pavoroc doesn’t speak in the normal sense. Instead, when he “talks” his thoughts are “broadcast” into the minds of those in the vicinity so they “hear” whatever he’s saying in their own native tongue. The reverse is true as well, meaning he understands what they are saying regardless of the language. His mouth opens when he talks, but doesn’t move with the words being spoken.
