(Thanks, Volgurath!)
Gadon is an alien Beast covered in thick, dark green fur. His fur is rough to the touch and is a deep green colour, striped with lime. As such, it gives him a very plant-like appearance. His eyes are glowing orange and resemble fire pits; his pupils are so tiny that it looks like he does not have any. He has two large tusks, much like a mammoth, twinned with retractable blades in his forearms. His back is dotted with sharp spikes that are shown to be actually bony tentacle tips, which he can use to grapple. He has a semi-upright stance, alternating between walking on his knuckles and rearing up to a bipedal posture. His fur is long enough to reach the ground at some places.
Personality: Gadon is a peaceful Beast, but few can even approach him because of his deadly toxins. This appears to sadden him a lot, in a way that he involuntarily threatens the very lives he so struggles to save. Because of this, he has the tendency of keeping his distance from creatures that are vulnerable to his toxins. Although a tender-hearted monster, Gaaruung has proven to be a brutal and extremely dangerous opponent, as some of his worst opponents end with half of their bodies melted. He is one of the best melee fighters around, using his huge tusks, arm blades and sharp claws to fight; he also mixes toxic attacks with melee moves. He commonly incorporates more complex fighting moves, not unlike human fighting techniques. However, the Beast of Poison and Decay is often reported sparing his foes if he deems them worthy to. He is glad to help allies in any he can and is often doing just that; he loves to hang around them. He is a noble monster, never one to underestimate opponents or view himself as higher. He loves a good fight, preferring a challenging battle over an easy one. He is protective of friends, especially Korr and Kitamura - he holds, however, a stronger bond with the latter. Gaaruung is soft-spoken and calm and will fight through the worst of pains, as part of his training was to endure suffering.
Attacks:
Gaar is the name given to the toxins that Gadon produces. It mostly oozes on his fur and mouth, and has debilitating effects on other monsters.
A living being that is not resistant to the Gaar is referred to as "Gaar-Negative" (GN). Similarly, one who is immune to its effects is known as "Gaar-Positive" (GP).
Certain monsters that are normally immune to toxins may be affected by the Gaar, similarly to how monsters that are Gaar Positive are not necessarily immune to toxins.
- Toxogenesis: Gadon's main defense and strength is his toxicity. Because of this, he is completely immune to poison. He can produce deadly toxins known as the "Gaar", which have the following effects on organisms when inhaling it:
* Nausea
* Light-headedness
* Dizziness
* Sluggish movements
* Soreness and weakness to the muscles
* Fever
* Dry throat
* Wounds will feel excruciatingly painful due to the toxins playing with the nervous system, much like a platypus' venom
The toxins can dissolve matter, and simply inhaling it can cause the death of weaker organisms than Beasts - including humans.
A note about the Gaar: There are currently no Gaar Positive monsters in the UCA except the other Beasts of Onada - Korr, Yakura, Kitamura and her cubs (Masser and Bergunth) and C'Krusis. The aforementioned monsters are not immune to poison, but the Gaar is different.
- Poisonous Aura: Gadon is such a walking chemical factory that proximity alone is dangerous. He has a constant poisonous aura around him that has a radius of 200 meters. The aura's effects are the same as the Gaar, but do not dissolve objects.
- Arm Blades: Gadon's arm blades are thick, but sharp. They are very tough and can deliver both piercing and slashing blows with the actual blade, while blunt damage can be inflicted with the flat sides of the blades.
- Stinger: Tipping Gadon's tail is a stinger, whose venom decays flesh. Even when the content of it is depleted, it can still be used to stab enemies.
- Tusks: Gadon can lift monsters or objects with his tusks, as well as ram them. They are very hard to break and hit hard.
- Tendrils: The spikes on Gaaruung's back are actually bony appendage tips. He can extend them to nearly 300 meters and plunge them into a foe's body.
Powers:
- Lack of Need to Breathe: The green monster did not need to breathe, which allowed him to remain underwater or in any area depraved of oxygen.
- Strength: While not as strong as the likes of Kitamura, Gadon can still pull impressive physical feats. He is capable of lifting monsters twice his weight - perhaps with his tusks alone.
