Name: Venturimon (AKA: Captain Toxic (Most common nickname), The Garbage Man)
Height: 100 meters
Mass: 55,000 tons
Description: Captain Toxic is an Ultraman-like warrior from a distant world. Like humankind has been threatening to do, his species eventually overwhelmed their planet with vast amounts of pollution. Those that survived over the centuries began to adapt to the high amounts of pollution (that had since spread around their entire galaxy like a noxious flood), having to equip themselves with technology that would allow them to exist in areas far less polluted than their own. And thus, this is where we begin…
Standing upright, his body type is much like that of Ultraseven X’s. His feet have no toes and, as expected, are much like an Ultraman’s (best picture I could find with a clear look at an Ultra’s feet in less than a minute, lol).
His colors are dirty greens, browns, and yellow. The hands are green while the palms are a shade of gray. He has a V-like shape that starts at the shoulders and stretches down to the groin. Over his heart is a crescent-shaped gem, roughly the size of his hand, points facing to the left. The V-shape is a dark green, metallic armor piece. Sort of like Ultraman Max’s, but in a different shape. Throughout the V, various lines of black race through it with neon green lights that flicker and dance within it.
The actual colors of the hero are modeled after that of Ultraman Gaia. The red is replaced with black, the silver is now yellow, and the blue now dark green. As mentioned before though, the hands are green and palms gray.
He also has the same sort of shoulder pads as Ultraman Gaia, but the same dirty, metallic green as the V-shape armor on his chest/stomach. The yellow parts on this are still yellow.
Now is where we get fun. His head, as expected, is very Ultra-ish with big, glowing eyes that glow green. His “face plate” is still silver-ish, but appears a bit more dirty and rusty. The mouth is hidden behind a gasmask modeled after this. It even glows green like that one is. However, instead of being strapped on, the gasmask is actually part of the “faceplate.” The top of the head is based more along the lines of Ultraman Hikari, but with the yellow lines now neon green.
Attached to the left and right sides of the face are black, rubber-like tubes that plug into two scuba-like tanks on his back. Two more tubes emerge from the sides of the tank and plug into Captain Toxic’s elbows. A final set of tubes plugs into his thighs.
On a side note, anybody who decides to draw Captain Toxic following my description will get a free, colored picture of any of their UCA monsters. Kaiju I’ll willingly do must not be robotic or have more than 8 limbs (tails, wings, heads, tentacles, arms, legs, etc).
thanks to Hayes for the picture.
Personality: Despite his toxic nature and origin, Captain Toxic is a hero through and through. His species made grave mistakes that led to the extinction of nearly all life in their galaxy, but they are determined from allowing any other to repeat their mistakes. Thus they fight for justice and the innocent, coming where evil lays in wait. He has a strong prejudice against those that follow the darkness, but isn’t beyond forgiving and forgetting. He’ll try his best to show the true potential of good of any being and convince them to change their ways.
While “animal-like monsters” gain his sympathy and general forgiveness, true evil doers gain his wrath. He’d rather imprison those that simply follow devils and such, but true forces of evil are to be eliminated.
However, he is very much a jolly green giant when not fighting evil. Often encouraging others, giving high fives, thumbs up, etc.
Attacks:
- Come ‘Ere!: Captain Toxic’s trademark, physical attack is inspired by Scorpion of Mortal Kombat fame. Forming a glowing spear out of carbon monoxide, he can launch the spear attached to a rope of black, noxious smoke. Once stabbed into a victim, the spear will turn into a sticky, tar-like sludge that will leave chemical burns the longer it remains in contact with a victim. The smoke will also become physical, a line of sticky, acidic webs that ends with the sludge stuck within the victim’s wound. This then allows him to draw the opponent in rather rapidly by drawing the sludge back into his arms.
- Toxinium Beam: By focusing his toxic powers and forming a classic Ultraman cross or L-shape with his arms, Captain Toxic launches a semi-translucent beam of green and yellow energy. The beam itself can throw back his opponents and cover them in a blanket of chemical fire. Once striking a target, this beam explodes with a noxious explosion, forming a cloud of choking, black smoke. The beam itself has a dissolving and burning affect also, blistering and boiling the skin while the beam pushes deeper inside. Once finished, the smoke that formed will turn into toxic sludge, covering the opponent head-to-toe. Worse yet, chances are the victim also breathed in the smoke, meaning their lungs will also be filled with the chemical sludge, doing massive damage to the lungs and causing labored (and VERY painful) breathing. This is a chemical attack that should not be taken lightly. Limited 2 uses per match.
- Sludge Bath: From his palms, Captain Toxic can launch globs of black, chemical sludge capable of leaving a variety of wounds, usually forms of acid-like burns capable of severely wounding flesh and corroding metal. In dire circumstances, he can spray this sludge like a fire hose, dousing opponents in the toxic muck.
- Nitrogen Bolts: Fired from the tips of his fingers, Captain Toxic can launch twisted, lightning-like, orange-colored nitrogen bolts, capable of ripping into flesh, leaving chemical burns, and generating noxious black gas.
- CO Sword: Captain Toxic can extend a large, neon green sword from his wrist (and also retract it). This sword is composed of highly bonded Carbon Monoxide molecules that have been energized. This gives the sword a solid feel, able to cut opponents and block attacks. A victim that comes in contact with this blade will be burned, sort of like exposure to mustard gas. Metal that comes in contact will be corroded.
- Sludge Disks: Captain Toxic can form buzzsaw-like disks of neon energy in each palm. These disks can then be thrown with a moderate homing ability. Once striking an opponent, the buzzsaw-like disks will saw into an opponent’s body before turning into an extremely noxious, semi-acidic sludge capable of causing nasty, chemical burns, infection, and various biological problems.
- Smoking is Bad: Emitted from his palms and fingers, the Garbage Man can generate a thick cloud of black and green, highly toxic smoke. Breathing this smoke in, at first, can be like breathing in fumes from burning rubber, plastic, and Styrofoam. Further exposure on skin can cause rashes, burns, and sores. It can cause severe burning to the eyes and nostrils, disorientation, coughing. On metal, it can corrode it like an acid. One of his favorite techniques is thrusting his hands/fingers into an opponent’s body and shooting the smoke directly into them, causing immense pain and symptoms instantly.
- Smoke Cloud: By transforming into a cloud of black smoke, Captain Toxic can quickly move to another part of the battleground. In this form, he can move quickly, even against the wind. Should an opponent breath in the smoke, it is highly noxious and can corrode metal and burn flesh. He can then reform afterward.
- Coat of Sludge: The Garbage Man can coat any part of his body in thick, acidic sludge at any given time, often making his physical blows much more damaging.
Powers:
- Noxious Shield: When attacked, Captain Toxic can generate a shield, either a small one before him or one entirely around him, that can protect him from moderate-powered energy attacks. While it can protect from projectiles, the shield can be broken due to it being composed of energized, CO molecules (think the sword). It also glows translucent green. However, if an opponent touches this shield, the flesh will be burned with severe chemical and radiation burns. However, their limbs can go through the shield so long as they can withstand the great pain that comes from touching it.
- Pollution: This here Garbage Man is always emitting high amounts of various gases and vapors that will affect most of his opponents. Those that get too near will start to feel lightheadedness, headaches, stomach aches, and various skin rashes and burns.
- Toxic Body: There’s a reason why his species wear these full body suits outside of their world: their bodies alone are highly toxic, enough to kill smaller beings instantly. His blood is so severely contaminated that contact with it can cause severe chemical burns and erode metal. Once the suit is punctured and vile flesh revealed, a nasty, sewage-like smell will also follow.
- Sludge Slide: From the knees down, Captain Toxic can generate slippery sludge that he can use to slide across the ground on, allowing him to ram opponents and even "skate."
- Suit: What you see of Captain Toxic is actually a full body suit made to protect him and others. It allows him to breathe in other, non-polluted atmospheres and prevent his contaminants from affecting others. Thus, it is designed to repel damage, especially energy and cutting attacks. The metallic parts are also extremely durable while the suit itself is almost like that of a rubber tire on a kaiju scale, making it extremely hard to pierce and burn. The strongest parts of his suit are his gasmask and tanks, which take repeated, focused attacks to actually damage.
- Flight at Mach 5.
Weakness: Captain Toxic thrives in pollution and requires it to live. While he can survive in the volcanic region (due to the high amounts of sulfur and such) for long periods of time, other regions can be a bit trickier for the famous Garbage Man. So long as his gasmask and tanks are intact, he can go on. However, if they are too severely damaged, he will have to fight to end the match quicker or risk being unable to remain conscious for long due to the clean air.
Note: I may or may not be adding more attacks and such in the future. This is a character that is very fresh (having only been dreamed up a few months ago). He could change in personality, attacks, and everything. I’ll use this as a “recording” to show you how some of my kaiju advance in originality and creation.
