Name: Erebus
Height: 110 meters
Mass: 85,000 tons
alliance: Lawful Good
Description:
Personality: N/A, though his operator, Charles Ombrage, is a relatively calm character.
History: An idea was born after World War III ravaged the world, and the horrorible mutants arose from the ashes, reeking an unholy havoc upon the world of men. This idea was a machine, designed specifically for the purpose of combatting these menaces. The K.A.A. (or Kaiju Analysis Agency for those unaware) came up with a design for such a machine, and offered it to a small group of experienced scientists, offering them a budget of 10 trillion dollars to get the mech off the ground. Taking their chances, the scientists went to work. 3 years later, the project, dubbed 'Project: Erebus' by those involved, was finished, and the mech, dubbed 'Erebus' by them, was finished.
The mech is armed with the most advanced weaponry and armor available to mankind. All the governments put their resources into this machine... the mech is man's only hope (outside of the guardian monsters of course) to defend themselves against the mutants and evils that have arrived in their tattered world...
Attacks:
- DaiKatana: Erebus can lash out with his massive katana sword. The blade is made of a special, top-secret alloy, which makes it nearly unbreakable and is razor sharp, allowing it to slice through flesh and organic armors with relative ease, though has some trouble when it comes to metal armor.
- CQC: Erebus isn't completely defenseless if he is disarmed of his trusty sword. He is able of fighting akin to a kick boxer, using high blows and low kicks to stave off a close-range foe.
- Inferno Missiles: Erebus will fire a flurry of missiles that will create a blanket of fire upon impact, covering a foe with highly flammable napalm and roasting a foe alive.
- Bunker Buster Missiles: Erebus will fire twin missiles that can penetrate most kinds of armor, before exploding on the inside of the target, inflicting horrifying internal damage.
- Erebus-style Blaster MK-II: Erebus has twin guns hidden in his wrist joints, that can fire a rapid fire blast of plasma. While it consumes some of the mech's energy, it doesn't consume much, so is much easier to use. Howeve,r it does little damage overall.
- EMP Burst: Erebus can unleash a close-range EMP blast, which can stun particularly sensative monsters, but is primarily used to paralyze mechs. It consumes some of Erebus' battery, but can be used more often than his shield or his Umbra Cannon, as it can recharge itself when not in use via Erebus' movements.
- Umbra Cannon: A dangerous, prototypical weapon his hidden in Erebus' upper chest. Erebus' upper torso will open up, before a powerful blast of antimatter will fire out, easily able to floor an opponent. This eats up his mech's energy supply fairly quickly, so cannot be used very often, maybe once or twice.
Powers:
- Erebus Armor MK-I: The mech Erebus is equipped with thick armor plating, which gives him excellent protection from bladed weapons and spear-like weapons.
- Erebus Shielding MK- I: Erebus is equipped with a prototypical plasma barrier, which can be activated to protect him from projectile attacks. However, this eats up his machine's energy supply fairly quickly, and thus cannot be relied on often for survival.
- Feet Jets: Erebus has jets in his feet that allow him to fly at a speed of Mach 4.
Weakness: Erebus' Prototypical plasma barrier and Umbra cannon consume large amounts of energy, which limits their usage.
Theme Song: Battle of Kerak
Height: 110 meters
