((CHICKEN IS LAZEH! <- Irony))
The blazing duo that were the miniature suns circled Kasai like angry sharks, dangerously coming close with each passing second. The two struck the Blood Behemoth like auto-guided rockets in the middle of her spiny back, brutally pushing her like bullies face-first into the sea of mist, only her wicked spikes piercing through like shark fins. Lips shaking as she growled, huffing hoarsely as a wave of air suddenly abandoned her lungs, a bit of drool flowing from her toothy jaws, Kasai slowly muscled herself to a kneeling position, hand resting on a raised, spiked knee. Flames swirled amidst the cavern of sharp teeth that was her mouth, until a fireball from it was spat in a straight line. The ball of flames drew a long trail of smoke in its wake before it arrived in the middle of a cloud of methane gas, which promptly detonated along with a huge column of fire, waves of heat swatting twisted trees down or plainly plucking them off from their precious soil. The dark sky lit up and an explosion rattled both monsters' hearing, throwing murky waters and ground up as if a volcano had punched through the ground. Trees of all types - bent over at the base, uplifted or miraculously still standing - were caught ablaze in an inferno of calcining lifeforms and nonliving alike. The might fiery fountain's heat caused a new burst of flames to rise with the same effects as the previous, causing a chain reaction when another - and final, for now - cloud of methane exploded. To prevent herself from toppling over, Kasai Yogan's claws had hemokinetically elongated themselves to anchor the titanic monster in the ground. Utsuho had less luck, as the violent bursts of blown air pushed her back, nearly causing her to impale herself on a sharp tree branch.
A sneer slowly formed on the blood bender's lips. Unluckily for the crow, Kasai was intending to send her right in the middle of the cataclysm!
The largest towering spikes ornamenting the white kaiju's slopey shoulders twisted and mutated into long, bloody claws. The ominous gore grabbed a firm hold of Utsuho, ignoring her indignant cries. With a steady tug, the appendages pulled Utsuho in and threw her forward. The majestic black wings of the avian caused the toss to be slow, but a new wave of air slammed into the three-legged monstrosity’s body like a freight train! And this one actually caused damage. Ashen feathers were ripped and skin flayed. A beak opened like a trap door to let out an angry, rumbling crow. Feathers danced like grass in the wind as they fought to keep their owner airborne. Bruised ribs threatened to cave in and stab into lungs! Utsuho was violently pushed back, body rocking a bit as she struggled to remain upright, not interested in being dragged in murky, dark waters. Unfortunately, fate had decided to lend her an equally undesirable fate. The avian collided with one of the wicked trees’ trunks, the impact causing her head to rock back violently, her skull splitting a bit from the impact. A couple of red lines carved themselves across the bird’s scalp under Kasai’s contented glare.
The impact was so blunt that the crow was actually etched in the wood! Kasai Yogan’s blue eyes now twitched in their orbits to look at the dangling three legs, their talons clawing and slashing nothingness almost spasmodically. The white and red horror’s claws and fingers fused together and stretched, curving to form a monstrous scythe. The blood at its surface hardened, moonlight glistening and reflecting its silver portrait across its surface. Kasai stepped heavily forward, before she elevated her scythe-arm and swung it like a baseball bat! Utsuho’s talons clasped the bladed weapon, a reflex that only caused her pain as the scythe dug a trench in the middle of her three feet. It wasn't obvious to spot, but blood was flowing onto the scythe. The hemokinetic retrieved her scythe with the bird still perched on it, before she swung her scythe-arm again and dumped the bird into a puddle of marsh water, where bacteria gladly attacked Utsuho's open wounds! Standing just at the edge of the water, Kasai was about to send a piston of blood hitting her opponent...

(OOC: NO FREAKING MANTIS NEEDED! )
Before the piston could be brought down, a blast of sheering heat slammed into Kasai, causing the bloody monster to back away as Utsuho flapped up into the skies. Her injuries hurt, her body was bleeding all over, she wasn't fairing well in this fight... but damn is she wasn't going to go down while fighting! The bird flew right past Kasai, the blood omen whirling around and flexing her fingers. Immediately, Utsuho haulted in mid-air, the blood within her body caught in Kasai's control. As if wielding her around with psychic powers, Kasai hurled her back down into the swamp, dampening the birds flesh. The flames that remaine don her body were put out, and bacteria-laiden water was seeping in. Utsuho's body burst forth in a brilliant flash of light, but this time, Kasai shielded her eyes...
But in that moment, she had to loosen her grip on Okuu's blood... which allowed the bird to fly up and begin pecking at her madly. The beak of the bird stabbed in again and again, aime dat the eyeballs, though thankfully none hit there, but instead, Kasai's face was quickly covered in peck marks. The bird flapped her wings vividly, and her body began to shine, signaling the oncoming miniature sun attack...

(OOC: Fine, I'll keep the mantis for myself, then!)
Although the brilliance was blinding, Kasai's glowing cyan eyes felt no pain as they were overrun by scorching light. The infernal orb dispersed murky water and dirt on its path, allowing Utsuho to have a bit of a breather. The flier huffed a bit, white mist accompanying the inhaling - a sign of just how cold was the night, even amidst the terrible fires from before. Jagged-shaped lips curled up to present a sideways snarl on Kasai's face as she repositioned her foot heavily to permit more comfort in the crouching position she was in. Utsuho was not allowed much time to breathe, as her roaring flames curled like a tsunami over a bloody dome mutated from Yogan's very arms, a gory display appearing to be conceived out of bloody membranes, veins and a layer of hardened blood surfacing it. Utsuho crowed in outrage at the sight of her attack being dismissed, while Kasai snarled. When the flames died down, raising a plume of smoke in the air, Utsuho could see that the bloody protection Kasai had conjured had cracked, and in these bits freely oozed, popped and boiled gore. The blood bender retracted her shield to reform her clawed hands, after which she slowly elevated her spine to a perfectly upright position. Although one could've believed that seeing her blood boiling like this would've made the Blood Behemoth angry, it did not. Her blood could not be "harmed" in any way. Frozen, boiling or even evaporated, it would always remain intact. Its supernatural properties made it so that only Kasai herself could control it, and not even other hemokinetic beings. The blood bender was immortal, after all. The only thing that prevented her from gruesomely eviscerating her organic enemies alive or healing - or, rather, reforming - herself constantly were the Universal Clash Arena's rules.
Fingers still boiling and popping like butter in a frying pan, Kasai snarled and hunched her back over once more, before lumbering over towards her airborne opponent. She could hear her opponent's heartbeat - a useful detection tool allowing her to detect creatures far away, no matter how hard they'd try to hide - under her dark feathers and chest. The white devil's hemokinetic mind once again lashed out, and Utsuho felt herself weighing heavier. Her wings had difficulty to keep her in the air; Kasai was pulling her blood downwards! The three-legged monster ended up a mere roughly 20 meters above the ground, her disturbed blood circulation making her feel woozy and seeing sparks. The spiked blood bender swung her leg and punted her downed foe, eliciting a groan of pain from the avian as she was lifted from the ground along with Kasai's spikes embedded in her flesh at the exact position where her bruised ribs were hit. A wave of pain rattled her bruised bones and sore flesh, a burning, painful sensation worsened by sharp, diamond-hard crimson spikes. The tip of one of them punctured its way into one of the ribs, while Utsuho's three feet wiggled in an attempt to unbind herself. In the delay of time where her opponent beat her wings, attempting to fly off from the spikes, Kasai lifted her leg and shook her off with jerking motions of a shin. Utsuho fell flat on her back with a wet noise caused by the soaken marshland flooring; unfortunately, the movement of the spikes had caused the wounds to be enlarged. Bacteria sure would gladly feast on the crow! Her feathers were now wet and miserable - the loss of blood and the watery ground contributed to make her cold as a stone. She felt like a wet dog tossed into a freezer!
Of course, the Blood Behemoth had no intention to simply cease there.
However, before she could even budge to go on with her next attack, Utsuho thrashed to expel herself from the ground and threw forth a clawed paw. Razor-sharp talons swished in the air to slice Kasai's muzzle like a hot knife through butter! A spray of blood arced in the air, before the blood bender once again wrapped a series of burly, clawed fingers around Utsuho's all three legs. However, instead of slapping the wicked bird across the ground like a ragdoll, Kasai whipped her arm upwards and expedited Utsuho in the air, before she mutated her arm in a gruesome manner once more. A gigantic, bloody column of gore swatted the monstrous flier like a huge flyswatter, carving new gouges across her skull and sending her walloping into a shallow puddle of water. The bird's feathers were drenched in cold, dirty water full of "what nice open, gaping wounds you have there" bacteria. The wet feathers made her owner heavier as stagnant water flowed freely into her injuries Above her, the shapeshifted appendage spun again, aiming to crush the bird underground...

OOC: I swear, my schedule and laziness are ganging up on me... that, or I'm developing a subconcious hatred of this fight.
A flaming pillar of heat flew out of the water, slamming into the appendage, blasting it back and allowing Utsuho to fly out freely. Her feathers were drenched. her body was screaming in rage and agony, her own molten blood spilling out. This fight... sh ehad never fought so hard before. She wasn't used to this. Normally, the fights she was used to were with her fighting foes far weaker than herself, and at- Wait, this was like that. Non-lethal battles heavilly regulated by thos ein charge, with her fighting foes that were also prevented from using their full potential... So why was she doing so poorly?
A blood spear slicing through her chest before the eye snapped Okuu from her thoughts. The Hellraven kept herself in the air despite the sheering pain, her eyes upon the Blood Monster. beating her wings, she folded them and dived right for her. Kasaieasilly sidestepped the attack, but to her surrpise, Okuu swung back around and slammed into her back. Kasai stumbled forward, and then was taken off her feet as utsuho flew by once again, this time into her chest. The bird latched her talons into Kasai's flesh, and began to pick viciously at her face, sparks and blood flying as the powerful beak tore into her flesh, flames gathering in the birds maw...

The flames washed over Kasai's mangled face like a hurricane of fire, but did not cause damage, the blood monster, after all, being immune to the fiery element. The following series of violent pecks from the crow did, though, the sharp weapon tearing meat off and plucking out blood from the white beast's toothy mug. Snarling, presenting deadly fangs, Kasai pushed Utsuho off from her before she muscled herself to her feet, the raven being only sent aerial instead of falling like an earth-bound beast would have. Before the three-legged creature could swoop down with a strong beat of her pair of wings, however, Kasai Yogan phased to gore once more. Sliding under the mist, the puddle of blood quickly disappeared from the bird's view... what she could spot, however, was blood from all around the battefield being sucked up. Wondering what was her merry opponent up to again, Utsuho followed the direction the blood was going to with her eyes, before she noticed a gigantic shadow looming over her...
A gigantic blob of gore with glowing cyan eyes shot a cloud of small needles into her back, a cloud of pain ripping into her back's flesh, tearing strips of meat and droplets of blood. While the crow howled, the blob outright detonated, creating a rain of blood. Amidst the gory hurricane calmly stood the now normal Kasai, doing nothing but nonchalantly grinding a tusk against her top fangs...

Utsuho kept herself up in the air only through sheer determination , blood and meat dripping down her side. Befor eher, Kasai waited patiently, her blood along her hand forming onto a scythe. The birds eyes flares with light. No. This was her first fight here, and even if she were to loose, she wouldn't go loosing without a bang, if only to prove she wasn't some weak newcomer.
A sheering blast of light erupted from the Hell Raven, blinding Kasai. However, the Blood Omen needed no sight to see... but immediately, she sensed something was wrong. She could feel herself being pulled in... but why? A squickly as the light came, she could see again... and what she saw before her sent a chill down the otherwise calm beast's heart. Utsuho had transformed into a living sun, flaming wisps lashing out fromt he artificial sun. Everything was being pulled in. The water of the marsh, the trees, the mist... all was swirling into the nuclear sphere, and Kasai herself was being pulled in as well. Gritting her teeth, the BLood Master slashed her scythed arm forward, sending bloody icicles flying right into the artificial sun. The pain that came into Okuu's body as they sliced through her hurt, but there was no stopping her! The sun expanded, and the gravity pull increased. A flaming wisp of energy lashed into Kasai, slicing across her chest. Hardened blood boiled and burnt, and her stuggle with the powerful energy was lost as she was sucked in. Everything was burning. Her skin, her flesh, her entire body... it was ignited in flames, and boiling hit. It was like nothing else she had ever experienced...
and then, it imploded.
The sun exploded out with tremendous force. The black twister formed around the arena was blasted out and away, as was Kasai, who landed head first into the marsh a few thousand meters away. She was not a pretty sigh tto look at. Large sections of her legs and arms had been vaporized from the sheer heat and pressure, and burns covered her entire being. Utsuho herself landed on the ground, breathing hard. Her wings flapped once more, as she prepared one final assault, one last barrage of suns at her foe...

"ATTENTION! ATTENTION!" boomed the Announcer like thunder given a voice. "CEASE COMBAT IMMEDIATELY! CEASE COMBAT! THE MATCH HAS BEEN DECIDED! THE WINNER IS..."
"KASAI YOGAN! I REPEAT, THE WINNER IS KASAI YOGAN!"
(Despite that explosive final attack, the Bloody Hunter simply hit way harder than the hellion bird. We sure got a respectable show of defiance from Gira in his last few posts, but the damage KC put in early was already too great for him to overcome. Good show, both of you, but there was really only one choice here.)

Utsuho's flames died down as she took in the anouncement. She had lost. Oh well. SHe had tried her best. The bird warped off in a bright light.
OOC: That was a bad matchup. A VERY bad matchup. I didn't realize Kasai was immune to flames AND immune to pain until after it was underway... Ugh.

((OOC: And I didn't realize that birds were so awkward to fight until it was too late. I'm sorry, Gira. )) Like a magical patchwork job, Kasai's blood reentered her body as it reformed to a shape as good as new. The Blood Behemoth sunk into the shadows of her living quarters, cyan eyes dimming as she entered a state of deep slumber...
