Too stunned from the previous attack to do anything, Dragus is slammed into the wall, making a dinosaur-shaped impression on it before falling to the ground. Harbinger starts to advance, but the ominous flicker of Dragus’ electric organs makes him recoil. A moment later, bolts of electricity arc from the chimera’s horns and strike Harbinger, making the brown saurian cry out in pain as his muscles lock up from the shock.
Dragus, meanwhile, takes the momentary reprieve to get to his feet. After shaking the cobwebs loose, he lunges forward with a roar. Clamping his jaws shut on his opponent’s throat, Dragus lifts the saurian up off the ground, letting him hang for a couple seconds. Just as Harbinger begins to regain motor control and attempts to struggle, Dragus spins around and slams him down against the rocky floor, the impact rattling the cave and sending small fissures spreading out around him.
Tyrannosaur Chokeslam.
With his jaws still clamped on Harbinger’s neck, Dragus thrashes his head, his teeth tearing through flesh before he finally rips his head back and stands up to his full height, taking several strips of flesh with him.
Letting out a bellow that sends droplets flying from his bloody jaws, Dragus takes a couple steps back from Harbinger before preparing to fire his Heat Beam, aiming to sweep it along the length of his foe’s body.

The heat beam left a path of scorched devastation across Harbinger's belly, as even the brown saurian's heat resistance had trouble with the weapon's output. But Harbinger fought through the pain as he gritted his teeth and rolled forward to a standing position. His throat was sore from where Dragus took a bite out of it, but he's had worse before. As Dragus prepares to fire again, Harbinger rapidly wrenches loose a chunk of stone from the floor and wings it at Dragus, the speed and accuracy of the attack causing it to strike the beast in the throat. Dragus wheezed and choked as the blow nearly crushed his windpipe, as he staggered about, trying to breath, which gave Harbinger the time he needed to rise.
Harbinger rushed Dragus, grabbed his foe by the horns and smashed his face into the floor before stomping on the back of Dragus' skull before finishing with a blunt tail slap to the head. Dragus appeared to be down and out, but Harbinger wasn't taking any chances. His foe was good, but Harbinger aimed to be better, as he leaped and twisted in the air before slamming his dorsal scutes into Dragus' back, the bladed armor slicing into Dragus' flesh. Harbinger rolled off Dragus before grabbing his foe by the horns again and slamming a digging spike-assisted punch into the side of the purple dinosur's head, before grabbing the horns and attempting to repeat the action...

The punch connects, spike cutting into the side of Dragus’ snout. As Harbinger reels his arm back for yet another blow, he catches the flicker of Dragus’ electrical organs. He quickly releases the chimera’s horns, but Dragus doesn’t let him off so easily. The purple saurian lunges forward with his jaws agape, electricity crackling between his teeth. He clamps down on the base of Harbinger’s neck, surging power through the armored reptile’s body. Then, with his opponent still being lit up like a Christmas tree, Dragus rotates his body and swings Harbinger through a nearby stone column.
Finally, Dragus lifts Harbinger up again, a red glow shining through the spaces between the corners of his mouth and Harbinger’s neck. A moment later he simultaneously releases his grip on Harbinger’s neck and fires his Heat beam, blasting the brown saurian at point-blank range. Harbinger falls to the ground, nearly the entire front of his neck scorched black. With that, Dragus spins around, surging electricity through his tail as he swings it toward his downed opponent.

Dragus' tail smashed into Harbinger's back, the electrified weapon causing more damage to the brown saurian, yet at the same time, Harbinger's own defenses negated some of the blunt impact, as well as lacerating Dragus' tail in the process. The horned dinosaur howled in pain as he pulled back his bleeding appendage, giving Harbinger a chance to rise. He hurt everywhere, and Dragus' heat beam was still strong enough overcome his heat resistance. Fighting a foe like Dragus with direct, physical contact was proving to be quite difficult, due to the saurian's own defenses. But, there was always a way around that.
Most of the cavern around them had been fractured, cratered, shattered and in general, wrecked. But, there were still a few stalagmites left, some of the stronger ones around. Harbinger quickly sized a suitable one up before leaping at Dragus and gripping the monster by the throat before lifting him bodily off the ground and repeatedly pummeling him in the gut. The blows further exacerbated earlier wounds, at the time time knocking the wind out of Dragus. When Harbinger dropped his foe, he turned and wrenched loose a stalagmite before swinging it around and smashing it upside Dragus' head, sending a spray of blood flying as well as eliciting a howl of agony from the purple dinosaur.
With his foe on the ropes, so to speak, Harbinger reversed his grip, before aiming the pointy end of the rock at Dragus' chest and charging forward...

But as Harbinger lunges, so does Dragus. The chimera lowers his head, ducking under the stalagmite, and charges forward. His horns stab into Harbinger’s abdomen, making the brown saurian roar in pain and drop the stalagmite. Dragus doesn’t stop there, though, as he continues to push forward, driving his foe back. Normally, Harbinger would easily overpower Dragus in this situation, but at the moment he’s too busy being in agony from being gored so deeply that he can’t summon his usual strength.
To make matters worse, Dragus drives Harbinger through one of the few columns remaining in the immediate vicinity, the impact burying his horns to the hilt in Harbinger’s abdomen. Roaring in fury, the armored saurian begins slamming his powerful fists into Dragus’ back. The chimera grunts in pain as he’s pummeled, but manages to stay on his feet. The spots on his back flicker before he discharges electricity through his horns, surging it deep into Harbinger’s body. Instantly, all of Harbinger’s muscles lock up. Roaring with exertion, Dragus hoists his opponent into the air, continuing to surge electricity.
The purple saurian keeps this up for the better part of 30 seconds. By the time his stores of electricity begin to run dry, smoke is rising from Harbinger’s body. With that, Dragus swings his head to the side, flinging Harbinger off his horns and to the ground with a resounding thud. The chimera collapses to one knee, breathing heavily from the exertion. But despite his exhaustion, he’s not willing to let up the pressure on his opponent and fires off his Heat beam at the downed Harbinger.

The heat beam washes over Harbinger scorching flesh and exposed muscle, only slightly mitigated by Harbinger's own natural resistances. When Dragus relented, more due to fatigue than his running out of juice, Harbinger seemed nothing more than a charred husk before him. Dragus slumped visibly with the exertion of the last attack, but seemed confident that he had achieved victory. But no announcement of such came. Dragus seemed a little stunned by this, as the reason soon became apparent. Harbinger's eyes snapped open as he creaked to a standing position. Dragus was powerful, to be sure, but Harbinger's creators had designed him to endure. And so, he did what he did best and endured. Now though...now was the time for retaliation.
Dragus, whose own internal power reserves had been depleted, could only try to defend himself as Harbinger rammed a digging spike-assisted punch straight into his gut, crushing and mangling whatever organs lay behind his blow, before using the opportunity to rapidly pummel Dragus' head with his free hand, attempting to further compound the damage his numerous other headshots had inflicted.
With the fifth and final blow, Dragus collapsed to the ground, blood pouring from pressure cuts on his face and the hole in his gut as he wheezed and gasped for air. Dragus was good. He had proven to be a strong opponent, and Harbinger had respect for that. But the fight had to end, here and now. During their battle, the landscape had been scratched, cratered and generally wrecked. But the ceiling was surprisingly intact. Harbinger aimed to rectify that now, as he burrowed into the cavern wall and traveled upwards as Dragus slowly returned to his feet. The chimera staggered forward, trying to find his foe. But he was not fast enough, as a great rumbling filled the cavern. Harbinger's burrowing had destabilized the ceiling as tens of thousands of tons of rocks fell atop Dragus, crushing him beneath their weight and burying him from sight, even going to far as to stifle his roar of surprise and agony.
When the dust settled, Harbinger emerged from a nearby wall to survey his handiwork. Dragus could not be seen, although it was unlikely he had been killed. The battle was over though. Neither side seemed to have much left to give in this fight, as Harbinger slumped to floor, waiting for the call from the UCA...

And indeed, the voice of the UCA came like a thunderclap. "ATTENTION FIGHTERS, THIS BATTLE IS OVER... THIS FIGHT IS A DRAW! I REPEAT, THIS IS A DRAW! BOTH RETURN TO YOUR LIVING QUARTERS AT ONCE!"
OOC: Okay, this was a ... pretty standard fight. Both of you fought more or less the same, with nothing really giving either side an edge. Both foes fought equally as hard, and did roughly the same ammount of damage, atleast from what I could see... so a draw seemed to be the best option here, though I was leaning toward Dragus at first...

After a few seconds, the pile of rubble under which Dragus is buried starts to shift, boulders rolling down its sides before the chimera finally emerges from it. Despite being buried, he heard the announcement. He stumbles out of the rubble pile and shakily makes his way toward Harbinger, blood dripping off of his face and the numerous wounds all over his body. Seeing this, the armored saurian stands up, dropping to a knee again before quickly forcing himself back up. Did his opponent still want to fight?
Dragus comes right up to Harbinger, stopping just meters in front of him. The two reptilian titans stare into each others’ eyes for several seconds. Then, the purple saurian does something unexpected.
He extends his hand toward Harbinger.
Like the armored saurian, Dragus respects strong opponents. And this opponent had more than earned his respect.
----------
Great match as per usual, OR. And it was nice to have a relatively tame match for once, without all of the crazy over-the-top-ness that they've all seemed to have for me lately.

Agreed.
----
Harbinger returned Dragus' gesture, a sign of mutual respect. While it was clear that he still needed to train more to return to his A-game, he was glad to have fought a foe like Dragus. Strong foes were easy to find. Honorable ones considerably less so. The two would likely find themselves on the battlefield again as foes. For now though, they were equals, as the teleporter beacon descended upon them, enveloping them in its blinding light.
