Carcharius snarled as Gorgs swallowed the chunk of flesh. His arm felt funny, but was still serviceable. And that was all he needed, as he charged Gorgs once more, splashing the two of them into the murky waters once more. Carcharius' jaws found purchase on Gorgs' neck as he bit down and wrenched loose a chunk of flesh. Even as Gorgs' spines sank into his hands, Carcharius held on tight as Gorgs struggled beneath the murk, silty water filling his nostrils and lungs. In a last ditch effort, Gorgs burst free of Carcharius' grasp, hacking up a lungful of water before gasping for air.
But Carcharius was relentless in his pursuit of flesh, as he gripped Gorgs by the throat with his good arm before smashing him into a tree. Gorgs collapsed to the ground, wheezing and gasping as Carcharius gripped the saurian by the skull before pummeling his head into the marshy soild, practically burying Gorgs' head in the process. Carcharius only relented so that he could go in for another bite to the back of the dinosaur's neck...

With a sickening chomp, the shark’s jaws wrapped around Gorgs’ flesh. The saurian climbed to his feet, the frenzied predator attached to him like a demonic cat. Claws and teeth raking his hide, Carcharius attempted to rip the man-made dinosaur to shreds. However, as Gorgs stumbled about once climbing to his feet, he smashed the amphibian into the trunk of a looming tree. Then again… and again.
After four smashes, Carcharius’ hold released. The beast slumped, webbed hands on the ground and head lowered, cruel eyes burning with bloodlust. Gorgs spun around, jaws agape and shouting with primal fury. He charged, leaping mid-distance and slamming his bulk into Carcharius! The shark’s body was sandwiched between the reptile and the tree until, with a thunderous snap, the trunk splintered! It fell like an oversized domino.
Back pressed against the fallen trunk, Carcharius continued to thrash and struggle as Gorgs’ tremendous jaws clamped on his belly! Gushes of crimson spewed out as his knife-like teeth punctured hide, enjoying the warmth and taste of his foe’s blood. Yanking back, the monster gulped down the meat eagerly before going in for more…

As Gorgs' jaws flared open, blood still dripping from his fangs, Carcharius spewed a mighty fireball into the monster's open mouth, the flames detonating inside Gorgs' mouth and throat, searing flesh and blowing chunks of meat everywhere. Gorgs flopped to the ground screaming in agony, the volume of his cries only intensifying as Carcharius leaned forward and sank his own fangs into the beast's belly before tearing loose a chunk of flesh and muscle, exposing the viscera beneath. Gorgs, his wounds still bleeding profusely from the anti-coagulant, was flagging in his ability to fight back. Carcharius however, was till going strong. He couldn't feel the multitude of wounds inflicted on his own body, he didn't notice his exposed guts, he didn't feel his mangled limbs.
All he felt was bloodlust.
As Carcharius lunged forward to gulp down another bite, Gorgs lashed out with a foot, catching Carcharius across the face and leaving a trio of bloody marks there. But Carcharius was undeterred, as he gripped the offending appendage and bite down hard. Gorgs bellowed in agony as an audible "CRUNCH" sounded. Gorgs' screech hit a crescendo as Carcharius began to try and swing Gorgs by the ankle into the mass of spikes leftover from the earlier toppled tree...

A tremendous cloud of dust rose up when Gorgs landed. The wood splinters broke while some others stabbed into his orange-ish hide, drawing blood. The saurian flailed about and bellowed in rage, eventually rolling back onto his feet…
But Carcharius was charging!
Gorgs braced himself before leaping up, swinging his body around in the process! His lengthy, spike-laden tail struck Carcharius’ face! The shark collapsed to the side, several holes pierced into the side of his cranium. The outback marauder landed with a thud and pressed his assault, smashing the deadly tail across Carcharius’ chest, forcing the oxygen out of his lungs while also ripping holes in his gray skin. The amphibian squealed, unable to breath under the assault…

Carcharius gasped for air as Gorg's tail came around for another swing. But this time, despite the lack of air, he was ready, as he gripped the incoming appendage in his hands, ignoring the spikes as they drove themselves into his hands like nails. The sudden shift in momentum caused Gorgs to twist frantically as he tried to wrench himself free, before Carcharius simply swung him around and sent him flying into the shallows nearby, his head colliding with a rock which was reduced to so much rubble upon impact. Gorgs sank into the muck, momentarily knocked silly, as Carcharius hacked and coughed before regaining his breath.
Gorgs was down, but not out, as his stirring form attested to. Carcharius aimed to rectify that, as the shark plunged into the murky water before grabbing the back of Gorgs' neck in his jaws, crushing muscle and flesh in its fanged embrace, as his hands wrapped around Gorgs' spine, forcing the struggling reptile into the murk. Carcharius finally wrenched free a chunk of flesh before digging his talons into Gorgs' flanks and ripping a trio of bloody wounds there, the claws questing for vital organs.
As the reptile's struggles intensified, Carcharius' tail lashed out like a scorpion stinger, ready to drive its bladed point into Gorgs' back...

The saurian’s jaws opened wide in agony as the blade-like tip plunged into his spin, causing a geyser of crimson gore to erupt from the wound as the tail tore out. Instantly, the dinosaur spun, squealing in pain as he put weight on his wounded leg. The beast lunged, tackling the shark to the muddy ground with a thud. His jaws wrapped around the broken chest, crushing the flesh and muscle against the bone. Snaps and cracks followed as the amphibian began to cough up bloody foam…
Something was breaking on the inside…
With a titanic roar, Gorgs fell back, gulping down what remained of the skin of Carcharius’ chest cavity. The hungry predator was quick yet again, not allowing Carcharius to regain a stance. He bit down on his right hand, dagger-like teeth carving down to the bone as he began to thrash about…

As the two superpredators continue to struggle against each other, the voice of the UCA booms across the battlefield like thunder.
"Attention! Cease combat at once! Carcharius has been declared the winner of this match! Congratulations! Now return to your quarters immediately!"
----------
Brutal as hell match, but Carchy just dished it out a bit better than Gorgs did.

As the two titans struggled, a number of hidden weapons reared from their positions before launching their payloads into Carcharius. These weapons were not firing metal and lasers, but rather tranquilizer darts. They had upped the dosage since last time, and it was only barely enough to make Carcharius stagger backwards away from Gorgs as the teleporter beacon engulfed him in its blinding light before depositing the monster back into his cell. There, Carcharius raged around, smashing his fists into the walls and attempting to claw open the doors, but to no avail. At last though, the bloodlust left him as he collapsed to the floor. Then, mechanical arms emerged from the walls and deposited him into the regeneration tank to be healed for another round of combat.
----
"He's becoming too dangerous, out of control even," the technician said. "We may just have to gas him in the tank and put an end to him now, before he can tear another monster limb from limb. You saw what he did to Hera and Thanatos."
"No. That he needs to be eliminated is true. But he's too much of a big star to just kill him offscreen. We need a big finish, something to tide the fans over with after the latest championship bouts are through. Maybe a nice 'Carcharius vs the World' scenario."
"If you say so. I still think we should gas him."
((Great fight MM. I had a lot of fun with this one.))
