KING CANEThe poisonous, kangaroo kicking lizard. A G A I N S T... GADONHe who's mere presence involuntarily threatens the very lives he struggles to save. Ref: No. Yes. No. Wait, yes, please. Intro: The quarters were perfectly silent. The only ambient provided were crickets chirping, and the occasional firefly could be seen flying around amidst the slight mist. Peace, just as the contained monster liked it. Peacefully meditating in a cave in his living quarters was the "walking wasteland", Gadon. While two open hands were kept together before his spiked forehead, two fists kept their knuckles close to each other just in front of his belly. After a moment, a UCA employee asked the hero of Kojima to head over to the nearest telepad. The spiked behemoth's eyes opened slowly, before the dark green titan drew his head back thoughtfully in pleasant surprise. He had been meditating for a long time in hopes of being able to prevent his toxic aura from killing and dissolving anything that came close to him, which forced him into solitude, but none of his attempts had worked. He had tried with simple flowers, but they all ended up melting or losing their beautiful petals, which, each time, brought him nearly unbearable sadness and regret. The one he put in front of him for this meditation session, though, did not. It was still perfect and beautiful, unlike every single previous plant. While the behemoth could not be anymore happy, he had duty to attend to... And so, with a bright electronic flash that speared the sky like a divine javelin of light, Gadon found himself in the middle of an archipelago region. Cracking his knuckles and hitting his fists together to warm himself up, the walking wasteland patiently waited for his opponent to show up...

Gadon did not have to wait long, as another teleportation light soon descended directly infront of him. From the blue light stepped forth a hideous bipedal mass of warty, knobbly flesh. The creature's head craned back and forth, the two tentacles on its face waving about wildly. Soon enough both tentacles stopped waving and retracted into the things face. The creature craned its eyeless and noseless face to where Gadon was standing and snarled. The creature balled up its hands into fists and lifted them above its head before slamming them into the ground. The creature opened up its mouth and unleashed a deep, angry bellow. King Cane was ready to fight...

Monsters... FIGHT!

Gadon's all four fists clenched and his neck lowered, spikes and scales raising themselves to aim the blue ribbon of sky overhead. His jaws parted to reveal a double row of sharp, yellowish teeth, as a small cloud of mist escaped from his maw. Fiery eyeballs locked themselves firmly on their opponent, their blazing colors and the warrior's fire shining through like portals to Hell. Gadon could tell that this was a fierce opponent, but that did not matter to him. He knew that brutal monsters could still be heroic - he was one himself, after all – and, so, began to ponder about his foe's allegiance. What was the beast fighting for, usually? Was it a guardian, a neutral beast, or the evil kind? Something he was not about to learn here, in a place where every monster had to fight whatever they were told to. However, there was something else he wanted to see. Just how well could this fierce opponent fight? After all, the toxic titan loved a good battle!
Mere moments after the announcement to commence combat rolled over the whole archipelago like a hurricane, Gadon addressed his opponent a greeting. He smashed two fists into open, padded palms and bowed his spiked head, before he adopted a combat stance, the air around him rippling like the water around the wide sandy area the two fought in – his everlasting toxic aura. King Cane replied to his honorable sign by charging directly in his direction, muscular legs pounding sand like hammers and flinging some airborne, but the toxic titan was ready. He aligned his spiky shoulder with Cane and ran towards his foe. The aquatic beast initially tried to slide to a stop the moment he noticed that sharp edges were pointed towards him, but all he achieved to do was send a wave of sand on Gadon’s legs, the tiny minerals either sliding down the length of his shins or getting stuck between the sharp scales covering the limbs. A trio of big, deadly spikes pierced his chest, the force of the impact itself rattling his bones and chipping them. King Cane grunted in surprise as he was hauled over Gadon’s head. His feet dangled meters above the earth for a moment, a meaty green hand wrapped around his throat, before he was brutally slammed down. The ground exploded outwards in a great plume of sand - the two had to close their eyes to avoid receiving sand in them - as two fists collided with King Cane's chest, knocking the wind out of him. The two were encased with toxic slime; Cane's ribs splintered a bit as his chest began to churn and boil because of the toxins. The green liquid flowed into the chest cavity while KC ((gasp!)) had a taste of the toxins' effects: dizziness and, worse, his gaping wound and bruised ribs feeling much more painful than they should have.
With this done, Gadon stepped back and invited his opponent to stand up and fight with a wave of a clawed finger. The amphibian did fight back as expected, but did not need to rise, as his tongue rocketed from his maw to slam full-force into Gaddy's stomach. The green behemoth's belly plating cracked under the force of the hit, splinters drawing spiderwebs across a small portion of it. The spiked behemoth raised his head back just in time to spot his enemy hopping back to his feet, but he was of course not intending to just stand there and do nothing. Like a scorpion, Gadon's tail reared up, its pointy tip aiming straight towards King Cane. The muscular appendage, coated in invisible toxins, violently punctured into his side, melting and poisoning whatever came in contact with it like the deadliest of viruses. Internal organs were poisoned and felt like they were ablaze, causing the aquatic creature growl in anger and pain. Cane nearly crumbled under the toxins and the pain’s effect, but Gadon caught him... only to make him fall himself! He held one of the creature’s legs firmly with two hands, the leg bent into a 90° angle, while the two others balled up into fists, aiming to hit the kneecap...
After all, mindless brutality was not the reason Gadon had survived for so long.

Gadon's fists slammed into King Cane's knee, eliciting a bellow of pain from the amphibious titan. Gadon reared his fists back for another blow, when suddenly KC's head lurched forward and his tongue shot out of his mouth before slamming into the Toxic Heros skull, sending him sprawling across the beach back first. King Cane rose to his feet, before jumping straight into the air and back down onto Gadon's stomach, causing his stomach armor to crack further and cause severe internal damage. King Cane stepped off of the green monster and reached down, grasping him by his right arms, before beginning to spin around in a circle and releasing him, sending him flying out into the middle of the ocean. Cane quickly lept into the water and began to follow, grasping a large chunk of coral off of the ocean floor in the process, preparing to bludgeon the Toxic Hero on the head with it...

Although he did not realize it yet, the amphibian had just screwed himself in the worst way.
Gadon's toxic aura was intoxicating the waters around by filtering it with toxins, polluting it with death. Before they did, however, Gadon was struck by the rock and momentarily stunned, gritting yellow fangs together. He shook his head to shake off the cobwebs. Like silent killers, the nearly-invisible toxins swarmed around Cane, their deadly influence expanding around in the water, but their grasp coming dangerously towards Cane restraining, looming in like a pair of hands around a neck. Flooding his insides through his nostrils and covering his body, the toxins quickly went to work. His entrails burnt with their painful effect, bumpy skin dissolving like a mere stain washed away. Blood soon formed a cloud, and even more jetted out when Gadon smashed King Cane's skull like an eggshell with the very rock the beast was handling earlier.
Two pairs of arms wrapped around King's shoulders as he flailed to shrug off the toxins, then sent him whirling down. After drawing several spirals in direction of the watery depths, the lizard hit a sharp coral reef. Pieces of hard coral gained a home in his side, hot streams of blood flowing like geysers from the punctures.
As his foe attempted to free himself, Gadon spat a goo-like projectile that glued itself to the boulder he was holding, then kicked it the hardest he could, the goo-covered mineral coming towards the wounded lizard like a poisonous meteor...

King Cane thrashed in anger and pain, desperately trying to pull himself free from the coral spire, never noticing the goo covered boulder hurtling towards him. Just as he was about to pry himself from the multicolored coral, the poisonous rock smashed into his chest, ripping him free of the coral while melting his flesh at the same time. The titan bellowed in pain as a cloud of silt and blood bloomed from the spot where he landed on the ocean floor. Gadon stared intently at the spot where King Cane had landed, he knew it couldn't have been this easy to take down the amphibious titan. And sure enough, a bellow of rage soon echoed throughout the reef, before the juggernaut swam upwards towards where Gadon was floating in the water. Gadon quickly prepared himself for the titan's brutish assault, but was shocked when twin streams of milky white poison launched from the sacks underneath the creature's back crests and landed in The Swordsman's eyes. Gadon bellowed in pain and began rubbing his eyes, trying to remove the poison from his eyes. KC took this opportunity and swam forward straight at Gadon, before turning around and tail whippin Mr. Spike into the ocean depths.
Gadon crashed onto the ocean floor. Before he had a chance to recover, KC was upon him. The amphibious titan swam down towards Gadon and gabbed him by his long and spikey tail, and lifted him into the air before swinging him around and slamming him into several large chunks of coral nearby, embedding large multicolored chunks of rock into Mr. Spike. Gadon lashed out as best as he could, his tail tip lashing out and impaling the amphibian in his right forearm, melting flesh and muscle and causing King Cane to bellow in pain before releasing his hold on The Swordsman's tail. King Cane screamed in rage and lashed out with his tongue, the fleshy appendage on a direct collision course with Gadon's face...

((Keep in mind, Gadon is immune to piercing attacks and poison. Poison for obvious reasons, and piercing to avoid slashing/stabbing himself and serve as defense, even if it is unlikely to happen.))
The monster's tongue speared out of his mouth like a javelin, Gadon's skull being its target, coming in fast for a nasty hit. But the toxic avenger would not let that be. His bright orange eyes narrowed, but their light did not dim - on the contrary. From their fleshy gauntlets, boney blades lashed out, their owner having to put more force into the movement due to the water surrounding him. Leaving a little trail of bubbles in their wake, the weapon struck fast as lightnings, successfully delivering pain as they had intended. A wounded tongue spit blood like smoke as it was carved deeply by the weapons, the long appendage writhing painfully as it retracted back into the safety of Cane's toothy maw, the metallic taste of blood filling his mouth. While the amphibian was stunned, dark green digits bent to form tight fists, a quatuor of organic hammers soon slamming KC's head in-between them like pistons. Small jets of blood spewed from the beast's ears, his brain rattled like the earth during an earthquake. Of course, while Gadon was a gentle monster, his behavior towards his enemies was another story - he could leave foes half-melted, but almost cried when he watched the wildlife he'd accidentally kill with his toxic powers.
King Cane, however, managed to catch a hold of a piece of broken coral, and struck the spiky behemoth across the face!
With his arms all occupied and blazing eyes noticing the movement too late, Gadon could not defend himself. A trio of yellow teeth were bent, a smaller one popping clean out with a droplet of blood. But all what Gadon did was wince; he was one to fight through the worse pains. The long training his masters forced him to pass was not a disadvantage, after all! Arm blades retracted again, swishing through the water to carve deep gouges across the amphibian monster's chest. Arms reeling back and fists clenching, Gadon punched forward, four brick-like fists aiming to cave the beast's chest inwards...

All four of Gadon's fists collided with King Cane's chest, sending the amphibious titan collapsing onto the ocean floor backfirst. Gadon quickly unsheathed his wrist blades and swam forward, preparing to gouge Cane's chest even further. But before Gadon could strike him again, Cane's tongue darted out of his mouth with a jet of blood and struck Gadon square in the snout before retracting back into the amphibian's maw. Gadon was briefly stunned from the blow, and Cane quickly took advantage of this by punching the toxic hero across the face, before lashing out with an uppercut to the Swordsman's gut, and finished with a knee to the gut. Gadon quickly recovered from the combo, and lashed out with his wrist blade and carved another deep gash into Cane's chest. Cane roared in pain and rage, and lashed out by grasping Gadon and lifting him up to his hideous knobbly face before headbutting the Swordsman, followed by another, then another, before Cane delivered one final headbutt to Gadon, which sent the toxic hero spiraling to the ocean floor. Cane snarled in anger and quikly picked up a nearby boulder and swam over to where Gadon was laying before dropping it straight down towards Gadon's stomach...

((Now I realize how Gadon is awkward to fight as. Toxins are friggin' cripplin'! And excuse the lazy posts... I haven't been myself these days. Shouldn't last too long, though.))
Like an underwater meteor, the boulder barreled towards Gadon. A long stream of bubbules was left in its trajectory, but Gady was not going to just float there and do nothing in front of the incoming projectile. Like an organic piston, the toxic beast's leg violently kicked the boulder back like a rocky soccer ball. The projectile's trajectory suddenly inverted, now heading directly at KC's intention. Before the monster could swim out of the way, his movements sluggish because of the toxic plague, the rock struck like a cannonball. The harsh collision winded King Cane, twisting his face into a pained sneer and expediting him clean out of the water! Breaking the surface with a flower of splashing water, the amphibian was crushed on the nearby beach, his skull crushed under his own body. The boulder soon followed, punching him partially underground. While KC retrieved his head from underneath himself, wanting to rid it as soon as could due to suffocation, Gadon soon burst from the water as well. Covered in ghastly green slime, the spiked behemoth stepped forward. Toxins dripping from his body and mouth melted the sand underneath, turning it into some sort of mineral slag. The air shimmered around him like a road in a hot Summer day.
Even after taking the rock directly to the face after Cane kicked it, Gadon was still immovable. A stream of green toxins washed over the amphibian, melting the very sand he stood on. He only remained a moment in a bath of boiling slag, before Gadon hauled him up and slammed him across the ground, blood splashing the sand-covered ground in spades, then sent him sailing through the air. The fish dived into an underwater cloud of toxins...
Still safe on land, Gadon waited for his opponent to reappear...

Gadon stared intently at the bubbling pool of blood and toxic slag, waiting for the amphibian to reappear at any moment. But after about 30 seconds, the bubbles began to die down. After nearly a minute, the bubbles had all but ceased completely. Gadon slowly averted his gaze from his opponent's apparent final resting place, and prepared himself for the announcement declaring his victory. But that announcement never came. In its place was a massive bellow from behind. Gadon weild around and saw King Cane standing on the beach, covered in melting flesh and toxic slag. Cane snarled in anger before his incredibly bloody maw shot open and his long sticky pink tongue shot forth and struck Gadon in the kneecap, sending the toxic hero to one knee. Cane charged forward as fast as he could, and grasped Gadon around the head with both hands and slowly began to apply pressure, trying to crush Gadon's skull like a grape. But Gadon would not have any of it and quickly stabbed Cane in the stomach with his stinger tail, forcing the brute to release his grasp. Cane bellowed in anger and pain before he kicked Gadon hard enough in the gut to send him to the ground. Cane quickly ran over to a nearby palm grove, and uprooted the largest tree out of the grove and quickly ran over towards Gadon, wielding the tree like a massive baseball bat...
