As usual, a beam of light fell. When it faded, a grotesque mass of bloody spikes could be seen shifting, soon forming the Blood Behemoth. Cyan blue eyes scanned the area emotionlessly, then their owner let out an irritated grumble. Kasai had, yet again, to waste her energy fighting another beast, while she could've used it to protect her homeplanet as her creation's purpose was. Still, this would prove interesting. She was going to fight a hero, unlike her previous opponents...

In a flash of green and white light, the aquatic champion of the people arrived. Taninim stood his ground as the brilliance dimmed, his bioluminescent bulbs flashing and elbows pointed outward with his hands on his hips… This would be a most interesting battle for the first ion mutant.

The Blood Behemoth slowly raised her skull to observe her opponent. There was no doubt that this was a heroic beast, and no doubt that this battle would prove a most interesting one. The ion mutant's fins began to glow like flames, and an ion beam blanketed the white and red colossus' right shoulder. Heavenly white flesh churned and sharp spikes - which simply consisted of hardened blood - melted, their content boiling and popping like hot water. The gore that flowed freely from the damage stopped its descent abruptly, before, like a movie played on rewind, returning to Kasai's shoulder. There was no longer flesh, but the blood was still shaped like it was still present. With Taninim done drawing first blood, Kasai's turn came. Before the ion fish could charge with the intent of slamming into Haven IV's Guardian of Blood, he suddenly froze, apparently hitting an invisible wall. His very blood had frozen in its vessels, before it began to harden and form spikes. Nearly microscopic bloody spikes tore their way out of Taninim's vessels, causing invisible, but still severe internal bleeding and damage. It was an excruciatingly painful process, but there was nothing he could do about it - not even move his eyes! When Kasai finally released him, blood was dropping out of his mouth, tainting his teeth with crimson. Droplets of blood made small craters on the ground as they dispersed small minerals. His entrails felt on fire, but he was certainly not out of the woods yet, because the Blood Behemoth struck again. The white beast's arm mutated grotesquely, the spiked limb's blood shifting and twisting into a pillar of blood. The blood bender lumbered forward and the bloodied arm rocketed off with a burst of gore, colliding with the downed fish's skull like a freight train. The cranium cracked like an eggshell, blood soon leaking from the wounds like rivers. Driven underground by the hit, Taninim pulled his head out... only to find out that his enemy was nowhere to be found.
He got the answer to his question mere moments later, when a series of spikes stabbed into his back. The crimson weapons detonated with no warning, melting into lava. As the fish's back began to boil, the lava flowing ever deeper into it, the Blood Beast grabbed him by the tail, before she tossed him towards a field of particularly sharp grass...
((Laziness, leave me alone! DX))

Taninim cried in mid-air as he was tossed about as if a toy. The blades of glass he landed on left a few paper cut-like slices on his scaly hide, but he still recoiled from the penetrating pain the beast had created before. Never before had he ever encountered a creature that could manipulate blood, let alone HIS own blood! The hero snarled, eyes burning with fury. His uneven, interlocking teeth unlatched and he spat a mixture of saliva and gore onto the grass. His lure stood on end and his many bulbs danced with colors. With a groan, he stood… As Kasai Yogan planned! Her lengthy tail lifted to the side and flicked. Numerous crimson spikes launched, but the heroic mutant had been in this predicament one too many times. It was instinct by now. Remaining on all fours, he leaped to the side, dodging the barrage of lava spikes while unleashing his trademark beam once more. His targeting was precise and Kasai’s face was engulfed in the blast, sending a wall of flames, smoke, and sparks to the ground! The bloody titan stumbled back before falling to a knee, arms coming up the pat the charred face’s dancing inferno. He was impervious to the pain and heat, but the sheer force of the blast still tore his flesh to shreds, especially around the eyes. As Kasai took a stance again, Taninim collided with him! He leapt into the air and bent his spiked knees, driving the six, dagger-like spikes into his chest Tony Jaa style! Kasai fell back, an eruption of blood spewing from four of the six impact points, two of the spikes failed to penetrate the plate armor and only amounting to some smaller scratches. The hero landed hard on his back with a grunt, but quickly recovered… Kasai Yogan snarled in rage, oblivious to the pain. As his eyes focused, they caught glowing… Spotting Taninim belching up glowing bubbles… He traced their movement into the air, noting that there were already two looming overhead… They pulsated… growing in size as they hovered… Then… *Pop* *Pop* *Pop* The bright flashes was followed by a virtual sea of explosions! Hundreds of ion needles descended to the grassy ground, setting fire to it while punishing Kasai Yogan with the force of an angry army! He fell to his hands and knees, his back and spikes taking the blunt of the assault! His entire form was blanketed in explosions, an endless storm of hellfire from the detonated ion bubbles…

((FYI, Kasai is female.))
The ion bubbles spat hurting sparks and threw pieces of flesh up like gory confetti, hungrily engulfing the white monstrosity's body. Kasai only shook her head in hopes of clearing her obstructed vision, sending a few droplets of blood flying. However, the damage done was lessened, as whatever blood that was drawn from previous wound returned to its owner's body, whatever droplets that was sent flying by the movement of Kasai's head freezing in the air. In the middle of the disc of raw flesh on her emotionless face, a cyan eye narrowed and flashed. Clawed fingers twirling back and forth, Kasai slowly stepped forward, heavy footsteps accompanied by thumps. From the tips of her twitching fingers twisted long spires of gore. Raising like snakes, aiming to ensnare their target like dangerous vines, the hellish tendrils wrapped around the heroic fish like a red net. Taninim tried to wiggle his way out, struggle to at least be able to open his fang-lined jaws to be capable of shooting an Ion Beam to destroy the net, but the hemokinetic would not allow it. The fish's struggles only intensified when he felt his blood being pulled at, and a sharp pain bloomed all over his legs when his spiked knees burst into an explosion of gore. With nearly blurring speed, twin jets of streaming red rejoined Kasai's open hand, forming a red ball in the middle of her palm. The net retracted into claws, the red spikes hardening and leaving small trenches as they slid across the soil. Even if he could still walk, Taninim's knees were practically scorched to the bone from the inside, bone well visible, but bloodied by the torn flesh surrounding it.
Watching the warping sphere of blood kept prisoner by her white digits, Kasai drew her lips over her teeth on a side to sneer.
“Survivors have to endure and fight through the worst of pains. I do not have to worry about such things, neither do I have to worry about losing blood, but you… It’s for this matter that I think you should take this back…”
Like a baseball from a twisted hell, the bloody sphere was launched with a reel of an arm and quickly split into a cloud of sharp needles, as the hemokinetic mind of the Blood Behemoth desired. The swarm of spikes engulfed Taninim’s face like a legion of deadly termites, obscuring it under a mass of blood, and they started to bite...
There was a series of tearing noises, along with blood spurts, as Tanny’s face was reduced to a near unrecognizable mess!
Despite all of this, the fish was still unrelenting. An ion beam was spat from his toothy maw, but his opponent burst into a puddle of blood at the last possible moment. Following the moving puddle with his eyes, Taninim spun around on his heels to look behind him, the movement sluggish and somewhat painful because of his knees... and was met by a clawed foot to the face. Forcing him to the ground, the foot dislodged some teeth, a claw coming dangerously close to his eye, the large dagger-like fangs stabbing into the soft flesh of his throat. Panting through his damaged, bleeding windpipe, Taninim was hauled off the ground again and tossed like a ragdoll. Blood pooling in his throat and mouth flowed freely from his jaws as Kasai’s knee spikes elongated, ready to render the flesh and muscle of his already wounded back...

(OOC: Thinking ole’ Tanny may be outclassed here, lol. Oh well. Never say “die” attitude go!)
The heroic beast screamed in sheer agony as her spikes tore through his overlapping scales and orange fins with ease. His blood flowed from the puncture wounds like warm rivers, turning into crimson waterfalls before splashing down on the streets. Despite the pain racing through his spine, the mutation found the will to go on. His lure stood on end, erecting with excitement before the tip exploded with a brilliance of light.
An ion flash.
Kasai Yogan stumbled back, falling over her own feet as she was unable to control her own blood. Parts of her body fell away, dissolving into gore while other limbs flailed about like a fish out of water. Her skull bounced repeatedly off the street and eyes rotated in their sockets, her entire circulatory system ravaged by the ion particles released by the flash.
Gasping through the pain, Taninim crawled to his feet. He had fought here before. He knew there were no innocent lives caught in their crossfire. Thus, he could use the battlefield as a weapon, unlike back home. His ugly maw opened wide and a beam of ion power catapulted, striking the base of a nearby tree, one of the few found within the Savannah. The base exploded outward, shooting chunks of car-sized splinters in every direction. Then it fell with a whine, the bark and innards blowing out as it collapsed like a domino…
Directly onto the spasming Kasai Yogan!
Half of her body, everything from the waste down, was sandwiched between the mountain of hellish destruction. A wall of debris, as tall as Taninim was, spread about. Smaller pieces of the fallen tree continued to rain about the area as Taninim snarled. His intelligent eyes spotted Kasai Yogan, her body finally overcoming the madness brought about by the flash. As her arms struggled against the countless tons of wood on her form, the fish charged forward. He knew firepower wouldn’t work as well as other means here… but he hoped he could inflict enough damage by other means…
He leaped into the air and came down with both feet… focusing his entire weight on his heels which crashed into the inner elbow of the right arm! The bloody bitch cried aloud, more from shock from than anything else. She couldn’t feel the pain, but the damage inside would be severe if this kept up. Her arm went limp, claws grasped into a fist as Taninim began to leap up and down, virtually jumping on her arm in an attempt to break it…

((Lolo. Pretty much any organic monsters, especially outside of the UCA, is outclassed against her (because of her hemokinesis, you see).))
Of course, the attack failed. If it did, though, Kasai would have laughed. Then, she would have simply reformed her arm, but not after enjoying watching Taninim be pelted by anti-kaiju rounds of the UCA weaponry. The Blood Behemoth burst into a geyser of gore, then completely enveloped the ion fish. He was compressed like a tin can, muscle tissue tearing and nerves splitting. His body was pushed to its very limit by the rising blood monster, the compressing force bruising his ribs and cracking his head further. All of a sudden, all this blood hardened, then split into needles once more. Traveling through Taninim's body, the needles dug their way in then out, leaving nothing but gore and chipped bones in their wake. An ion beam met Kasai's red armor plates, which began to smoke, to which Kasai retorted with this: a burning tree trunk slamming him face-first into the ground, charring his skin, boiling his blood and melting his beautiful fins.
As he was stuck under the burning tree, Kasai hopped up on it, driving her opponent deeper and deeper underground, his back folding backwards to a near breaking point...

As sickening cracks rang from Taninim’s bending spine and blood erupted from his muzzle, the fish was taken to the brink. The brink that only a handful of opponents had ever taken him… and this fight was just getting started! The hero struggled, pushing the agonizing pain to the back of his mind in order to go on. In this position, he was limited… But not defenseless…
His tail, thick with muscle and hard with overlapping scales, flailed about madly. It missed several times before…
SMASH!
Like a baseball bat, the flailing limb crashed into the side of Kasai Yogan’s skull! The bloody bitch stumbled back, eyes rolling from the blow. It was just the opportunity Taninim required. Limping and whimpering in pain, the champion of his world lifted up and spun around. Before she could counter, he pounced franticly. It was a move out of desperation, if nothing else…
He tackled her, forcing her back-first against the grass. The two tussled, but Taninim placed a webbed hand on her armored chest to pin her down. With his other, clenched tightly in a fist, he began to bludgeon it into her face! She squealed about, trying to free herself as hammer-like blows landed. One after another…
She lifted her hand, but the blows rattling her brains. She tried summoning a blade of gore, but it merely fell apart, splashing on her own body. Realizing what was happening, Taninim’s eyes went wide. His key… his possible tool for victory… had been found!
Kasai Yogan screamed in utter rage, her jaws stretching wide and breathing a blast of hellfire! The glowing of the blaze caught Taninim off guard, but he knew a flamethrower discharge when he saw it. The fish ducked his head, allowing the stream of fire to fly over him. Just as it ended, he folded his arm up and drove his elbow down, as hard as he possibly could, directly between her eyes! Both of her arms exploded into gore as she struggled to summon bloody weaponry or manipulate his blood. As her own gore flowed from the fresh crevice between her eye sockets, Taninim’s elbow lifted again…

((Huh. Was sure I posted here earlier. And squealing Kasy? Oi dun evun...))
The elbow struck... somehow avoiding the sharp spikes protruding from the blood bender's skull like a crimson mane. The limb reeled back to club again, but a clawed hand suddenly wrapped around Taninim's arm before he could do so, imprisoning it in a stone grip. The Blood Behemoth's cold cyan eyes stared directly into the fish's own crimson eyes.
"Do you sincerely think I absolutely need blood bending to fight?" the monster coldly commented, a hint of mockery in her deep, gravelly voice.
With that, Kasai shoved Taninim aside, something she actually should have done earlier. She rose to her feet with the aquatic monster still stuck in her grasp. He was going to find out. Lifting the fish up high, Kasai brutally slammed him down. Blood splotches were painted across the soil as he hit the ground repeatedly, creating a crater in the ground. After the fifth blow, he was left in a pool of his own blood, his body tainted red. Before he could rise, a spike planted itself into his shoulder and detonated, causing him to fall over once more with a splotch. While he was down, Kasai grabbed his ankle and began to twist it...

(OOC: Didn’t mean squeal in pain.)
A shooting pain quickly raced through Taninim’s foot as pressure was applied to his ankle, but it was a familiar tactic. Perhaps his foe had been trained by the Klenthurians as well? It didn’t matter. As she twisted and turned his foot, his lengthy tail lifted. It was a basic, but effective, counter to the ankle lock…
His muscular tail slammed down on her skull!
The blow was like a hammer hitting an anvil, forcing her hands to release and driving her to her knees. As she was distracted, Taninim quickly crawled forward like a wounded lizard. He spun about on all fours, keeping low to the ground. His eyes narrowed as he watched her climb back up, snarling in primal rage. She continued to insult and taunt, but words were useless to Taninim. He didn’t understand words, just actions. And this creature and her powers belonged to those of the wicked. As always, Taninim will fight. He may not win, but he’ll sure as hell fight to the end!
The hero leaned upward and lunged like a hungry tiger, webbed hands gripping crimson shoulder spikes and forcing her back-first to the ground. He brought up his spike-tipped knees, driving them into her belly! The crimson color of her gut camouflaged the rivers of blood that flowed, but Taninim kept at it. Forcing his spikes deeper inside like a butcher with his spikes while paining his green flesh red.
As she roared in rage, Taninim’s face shot forward. His maw wide, he wrapped his mouth around hers in a kaiju kiss! Instantly, an ion beam was catapulted down Kasai Yogan’s gullet! Smoke and fire erupted from the corns of her mouth and nostrils, but it was the concussive force of the beam that did the damage, ripping apart her insides like tissue paper. Taninim yanked his head back, a trail of crimson carnage following his head as he fell away. Kasai Yogan’s head slumped back before striking the grass, her breathing shallow and rapid, blood spewing from her mouth with every breath…

The Blood Behemoth gurgled for a moment, a grumble managing to make its way amidst all the blood obstructing her throat. Some bubbled out of her maw and rolled down her neck. Cyan eyes narrowed and tusks that were coated in blood ground together. She was going to spew a fireball in her opponent's face, but she suddenly had an idea. Taninim had spilled her blood, but while he opened her belly with his spikes, he had also opened a door to a world of hurt, because Kasai could immolate her blood. And so, while Tanny's spikes stabbed again into her plated stomach, soon becoming solidly anchored, a wall of flames hit him! The ion mutant struggled to extirpate his knee spikes as his flesh charred and bubbled. As soon as he did, he began to roll on the ground to extinguish the flames. Behind him, Yogy grunted and crawled back to her feet, rivers of blood flowing from her body. Before the hemorrhaging could go on, the Strawberry Cake's hemokinesis went to work. Veins and structures had been damaged, but she could still keep things up and running by "repairing" herself, which simply consisted of patching things up with blood. “Much better,” the spiky beast grumbled as she cleared her throat. Her arms soon twisted into scythes, before she slammed them into Taninim’s sides, the bloody blades encasing him locking themselves between ribs. As blood flowed from the weapons, Kasai lifted him over her head. She let him fall by retrieving the scythes from his body, before her spiked tail clubbed the fish to the side, knocking the wind out of him. The blood bender shook her head, waiting for her foe to rise...
((Wow... that post isn't even as long as a typical paragraph I write in other fights. Lazeh, I am.))
