YUUKA KAZAMIThe Sleeping Terror- VS - MASSERThe Hugger Brute& BERGUNTHThe MasterRef: Wouldn't you like to know? Arena: A pine forest of kaiju proportions: i133.photobucket.com/albums/q54/InfernoRodan/Arena/ForestB1.jpgIntro: Inside a dark spaceship, marks on the floor lit up with light blue. The lighting gave off an eerie vibe to the giant kept in stasis there; shadows crept across his form from above. With a pulse from the machine keeping him dormant, two green eyes blazed in the darkness. The greenish chains keeping his arms locked in an extended position gave way, and the Beast immediately flexed his limbs. Stepping forward with two thunderous strides, the monstrosity breathed in deeply, but calmly. He had no idea where he was, and only remembered vaguely what had happened before this capture. His glowing eyes calmly scanned the dimly lit area. There were not much features beyond the illuminated symbols on the floor, but his eyes caught a glimpse of another creature kept in stasis, just besides the tank he was kept in mere moments earlier. His eyes squinting, he observed the other monster. It had a white pelt and sported horns on its head, two long tusks sprouting from its jaws. It had no legs, but strong forearms and large claws. The Beast reared his head back thoughtfully. Who was this Beast? How long had it been in there? Would it remain there long? And mostly, did this await him too...? Observing what was around him on the other side, the titan became even more confused. There was another giant kept on stasis, and he knew that one. He had gone missing from Metalius Island along with his sister and mother. Though he could only spot a stinger, striped fur and hind paws, he needed no more to recognize Gadon. Although the Beast was confused, there was no place for fear in his heart. He could only wonder if his mother and sister where somewhere in there as well... Behind him, a creature with a tall nasal horn slowly stepped forward, slapping the floor with a spiked, mace-like tail tip. As the Beast turned around to stare at it, a voice spoke in his very mind. “DUS... MUS...” the whisper said, just as the horned monster gave a small bow of his head. In response, the Beast with the glowing eyes pressed his palms together and bowed. A new titan stepped out of the penumbra, its traits gradually revealing in the light. It had long, metallic arms tipped with three-fingered hands and wore a metal mask on its face – a mask with seemingly empty eye sockets. “TOR... VAK...” The voice spoke again, and Torvak gave a small nod, which the blue beast answered with another bow. Lastly, the invisible talker addressed itself to the one nicknamed “The Master”. “BER... GUNTH...”With those introductions made, Dusmus and Torvak readied themselves for battle. Bergunth readied himself as well; whoever spoke apparently wanted him to train, as he was told through telepathy. So, without further ado, he waited for Torvak and Dusmus’ moves. Dusmus stepped sideways to allow Torvak to strike first, as she extended both arms and prepared to slap Bergunth, but the smart brute reeled back and caught the hands between two palms. With the extendable appendages kept in a grip of iron, Bergunth pulled Torvak into Dusmus, the tall green and yellow beast stumbling forward and falling atop her ally. Watching the heap of flesh twitch to unlace itself, Bergunth crouched low and flexed his arms, a fist protecting his chin and the other kept open in front of him. In the middle of his open palm, a blue sphere materialized and burst into several others, hitting Torvak in her elbow, knees, hips and head just as she turned around. The masked titan was flung back, pieces of her metallic armaments exposed under her flesh. As Torvak slowly muscled herself to a stance, Dusmus moved in. Before the horned one could even get too close, Bergunth spun on a heel and sent his foot strike the monster in the face, causing it to flop sideways. Trickles of blood dribbled from his split flesh and bones as he stumbled to the side. The Brutal Strategist pounced over and extended arm from Torvak, grabbing her mask with his foot. Falling forward, he forced the green one under him, fist clenched and ready to strike. But before the big Beast could deliver a blow that would have shattered Torvak’s mask like glass, the voice interrupted. Bergunth definitely had a lot of skills. As Dusmus came to help Torvak back up with a push of his horn, Berg’s vision faded to black... He reappeared in front of an energetic door in the middle of some kind of hub. The door faded to reveal an area similar to one he had seen before – tall trees, yellowish grass, autumn-like colors... The strategic titan stepped forward into the living quarters; he had not even made a few steps in when his mother and sister came greeting him with a giant bearhug. His mother Kit had felt his presence while he was on the spaceship. His sister did not, and so was very surprised to see him point his muzzle there. The voice that had talked to him earlier addressed a greeting to the three, before the spaceship disappeared in a blink of an eye. Though Berg was still confused, he was at least with his family and they were safe. He knew, though, that he would find what he had trained for during years. Something he tried to avoid, but kept getting pulled into. Combat. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In a flash of electronic brilliance, Bergunth found himself, yet again, somewhere else. Stepping out of the tall column of light to step on the soft moss covering the forest floor, Berg took in a deep breath of fresh air. The time for combat drew near - he could feel it...

Within her own HUB room, Yuuka watched the Orsa conflict escalate. It was quite amazing, having such a thing like that go on that was her fault. Orsa truly was a spectacular creature... a beast that had such little control over its own power. It was a fresh, ideal thing to see, in a place where so many had mastery over their own elements. "Not all must be so stale... Even the UCA must realize that incomplete power or weak power is as fascinating as true might" She said to herself, her eyes watching the screen of the fight. Though, her visit from Reclaimer had been quite interesting, come to think of it...
And then, she heard it. Those plants in the forest beckoned to her. She could hear their voices, their whispers of a new arrival at the UCA, a bear similar to the others that were here, and yet different somehow. The plant smiled as a fine line ran down her from head to toe, and she then divided, the plants making her up fixing themselves as the newly formed copies looked at one another. There was no need to say anything. They knew what was going to happen. As one stayed, the other turned into a orb of white light, then flew off toward the forest...
The orb speared before Bergunth, surprising the bear as it dimmed, revealing the now monstrous form of the plant lover. The crocodilian mouth opened and closed slowly as she eyed her foe. "My oh my, what a lovely bear we have here. Your scent is quite interesting... and yet, you are quite similar to another that is here. No matter, I will be pleased to see how strong you are, here on my homefield advantage." Yuuka hissed, towering over Bergunth as she readied herself for battle. While the other half watched the Orsa combat, she could enjoy this battle as well... what a lovely thing, being able to duplicate herself like that... yet a foolish thing of the bear to come into the forest... where it was at such a disadvantage.

((Thankya for reffing, Hayesorz. :3333)
As anyone would expect, Bergunth and Masser's mother was watching the battle attentively, installed comfortably in a small room in the Hub. She had confidence in their skills, but there was nothing she hated more than watching them get hurt. She felt every strike they were inflicted and felt immense anger each time, but in this place, she had to stand down and let them on their own. It was torture, to be sure, but it was either that, or remove their mom from their lives all together.
----
Another beam speared down, depositing another alien bear in front of Yuuka. Masser's feet pressed on the soft moss as she looked around. One of those trees was not like the others...
Masser's pinkish gaze fell on her brother's form, and the Beast grumbled appreciatively. It was good that he had the chance to fight alongside his sister for his first bout.
Moving to her brother's side, Masser readied for battle. Undoubtly, this would be a challenging one...

It was now Bergunth's turn to show what he was made of. Making fists out of his plated hands, the spiked giant crouched low. As the humongous plant waddled in to crush him, Berg leaped to the side, successfully avoiding a good punch of a fist. With his foe having her fist stuck in the ground, Bergunth lifted a clawed foot and slammed down - hard.
The mass of vines and bark was forced face-first to the ground like a warrior forced to their knees, and Berg retrieved his foot. Wooden plating protecting Yuuka's forearm had burst to shambles under Berg's strength, its appearance spiderwebbed by cracks or cleanly falling apart. Out of bad luck, pieces of wood had embedded themselves deep into the vines below the plating, shredding them open and spilling green blood. The shock radiated into the whole arm and even into the chest. After a moment, the planty one rose [harrharr, I said "rose"] and began extirpating her fist from the ground, while Masser moved in to assist her brother. The descendants of the Great Guardian nodded to each other, before Bergunth hopped and curled into a ball, landing in Masser's arms. Extending a foot forward, Masser narrowed her eyes and grunted, throwing her brother with all the strength she could muster.
BANG!
Like a living comet, a Bergunth covered in blue flames slammed into Yuuka's chest, shattering the armor plating and caving the chest inwards, his spikes embedded into her. The blue power caused the vine and bark to wither and die, decaying into black messes. The vegetal giant was angered and chomped her jaws down on Bergunth's shoulder like a crushing machine, the armor cracking and blood rising to the surface of his flesh when the long teeth punctured deep enough through muscle harder than metal.
Wriggling to free himself, Berg flipped himself at the back of Yuuka's head, his legs wrapped around her head. As vines tore open and leaked chlorophyll, he tightened his grasp. It was not long before the bark cracked open and fell in pieces, Yuuka's teeth sliding against the others and coming dangerously close to stab through her own gums. Still holding onto the titanic veggie, Berg infused both fists with blue power again, preparing to slam them both into the sides of her skull...

OOC: I should kick you for that pun.
But it was not to be. Before the fists could connect with the walking plant, Bergunth's sides ruptured in blood and flesh. The power in his fists faded as Bergunth was overtaken by the pain, a loud, blood-coated roar escaping from his maw as both tendrils dug themselves deeper into the sides of the bear. The pain being caused by them slashing through his flesh, worming their way deeper and deeper forced him to let go of Yuuka who chuckled as she kept her hands on the bear's sides, keeping him on the ground. "I am surprised you can kill off my plants so easily. Are you by chance related to the Horsemen in that regard, or is it some bizzare chance occurrence that gives you that power? I really don't know, but it is interesting to think of. Now, let me see you SQUIRM." The plant hissed as the tendrils coming from the palms of her hands did their work...
A flash came out of the corner of her eye, but it was too late. A laser pounded into Yuuka's back, then another, and another. The plant nearly stumbled forward as Masser, wanting to protect her brother, kept up the knuckle lasers. they were burning through the wooden armor, and while the pain was nonexistent due to her being a plant, it irritated her no less. Swerving around, The Nightmare of Eternal Flowers brought the restrained Bergunth before her.. jus tin time to have him be the damage sponge to take a few more lasers. The horrified look on Masser's face as she was unable to stop the barrage was all Yuuka needed to see, but the howls of pain from Bergunth as his hide was riddled with the blasts only made things even better. It was like a dream, almost, a pleasant orchestra of pain and torture on multiple levels that made the plant sadist purr in affection. And then, the lasers finally stopped. The back of Bergunth's hide was charred and sizzled from the barrage, but Yuuka wasn't going to let him go, not yet. Swinging him back, the goliath then swung forward, the tendrils anchored in Bergunth's hide acting as tethers as the bear collided with his sister, bowling her over onto her back and giving her several puncture marks from Bergunth's spikes digging into her underbelly. Blood splayed out from the impact, and Masser began to rise up, only to see the form of her brother flying right back at her, the tendrils withdrawn from his bloody sides back into Yuuka's hands...

OOC: I should kick you for that pun. Noooooo! I'm already taking planty of damage here. For the sake of clarity, the post order is the order of intros, right? So it's Berg, then Yuuka, then Masser, then Berg, then Yuuka, Masser, etc?

Masser caught her flying brother in her arms. Although his spikes would have not stabbed through her thick flesh normally, receiving them at high speed made things different.
“Hrrrmmm... looks like someone’s been taking lessons from me.” muttered Kit in the Hub as she watched Yuuka hit Masser with her own brother. Her eyes observed every single little detail of the battle. It was clear though that she was far from pleased at what she was seeing. Gigantic guns from the ceiling descended, ready to tranquilize her should she become enraged and started wrecking the whole place to the ground in an immense feat of anger as she was known to have. Big Mama Bear would split mountains, tear whole armies apart, punch Death in the face if it dared take her children away from her, she would walk through hell and back, crack planets open and endure the worst of tortures if it could keep them safe – and she would certainly not regret anything. But the Anti-Beast Blood these guns contained... they made things different. It made her own Beast Blood boil and they could easily kill her kids after killing her if they did not obey. If she was killed stupidly like this, she would never be there to protect them ever again... The old Guardian took a deep breath, trying to stay calm...
While Masser and Bergunth had a habit of playfully fighting and training together, it never reached peaks violent enough for blood to be drawn. As Berg sat down, Masser moved in to avenge her sibling. Her fist flew from its gauntlet, striking Yuuka’s toothy mug like a freight train. Sharp fangs exploded from her maw as the mecha-fist slid at the back of her mouth. The jaws swallowed the fist deep enough for its knuckles to stab in the soft tissue of her throat. Green blood dribbled from the numerous gouges and where teeth originally where, and Masser reeled her powerfist back on with a mechanical clank. The vegetal monstrosity spat out more fluid, as Masser clenched her fists. Her knuckles shrouded with red light, the blue bear shot flurries of thin lasers at the Sleeping Terror, cutting vines and armor alike in straight patterns, leaving white-hot gashes in their wake. The smoldering pieces of slashed vines fell with muffled thuds in the moss.
The armored Beast’s eyes grew wide as Yuuka advanced, using her tail to prevent Masser from moving out of the way by blocking her. The blue monster was soon toppled over and crushed under Yuuka’s weight, her belly’s armor spiderwebbing with cracks. Blood even built up amidst the plates, like rivers flowing between rocks. Masser moaned and wriggled, before her lips drew in a snarl. Using literally every inch of her immense strength, she began to push Yuuka off of her... and over her head!
Her muscles ached, but she still threw the giant plant forward. The abomination landed against a tree, instantly toppling it over as bark broke and peppered her with splinters.
Masser dove to the ground and rolled, unfolding a leg to strike...

Noooooo! I'm already taking planty of damage here. *must resist urge to DQ* The urge. You moss resist it! KayI'mdone. Heavy footfalls could be heard as Bergunth sprinted surprisingly fast. Leaping in the air, he extended his leg and struck at the same time as his sister did. The dual blows hit Yuuka, who had gotten up and barely had the time to turn around to face the bears – in the stomach, the two bears’ feet tearing with their claws and crushing hard. The force of the double hit knocked her backwards and caused her to lose her footing. As she staggered back, Berg crouched to prepare his next move. He opened a palm, and within it appeared a blue sphere. The blue power launched forward, before it split into eight smaller bolts. With loud swishes, the bolts slashed into Yuuka’s eight legs, striking connective tissue where the leg’s “articulations” met. When Yuuka toppled over again, Bergunth ran to her position. His fists clenched into bricks, he began to wheel his arms with frightening speed, the bark armor crunching under each of his blows. He ceased the assault only when Yuuka chomped her jaws around his already wounded shoulder, splitting apart more nerves and muscle. Throwing the bear away – after which he landed on his feet with a short staggering backwards – Yuuka was about to attack him again, but the bear leaped to the side and pounced, landing on Yuuka’s shoulder. His blank green eyes narrowing, he charged a fist with blue power and readied to strike her chest...

The blue sphere was aimed right at her. At this range, there was no way it would miss, no way Yuuka could avoid it, no way she could get out of this unscathed... or was there? Was there something she was aware of that the bear ontop of her didn't? The sinister plant chuckled, causing Bergunth to raise a nonexistent eyebrow. "Dear me... I do believe you have me in a most undesirable spot. You think I am beaten so soon..." Here, the pinned Yuuka smiled as her hand dug into the soil under her. "Well, You are sorely mistaken. A weed will not die until you remove all traces of it"
SPLAT!
Bergunth's already injured side ignited on fire as a series of vines launched themselves out of the soil and struck the raw flesh. At that moment, the sphere fired, and blasted away a part of Yuuka's armor, as well as slaughtering a few of the vines underneath, but it was a minor miscalculation for the Sleeping Terror. Yanking her hand up, the vines yanked down in response, sending Bergunth toppling off of her and onto his side. The martial artist howled in pain, blood now frothing from his mouth as Yuuka rose up onto her 8 legs. It hurt so much... it was like it had pierced something inside of him. All it took was a single yank, and the cause of the pain was removed from Bergunth. The bear collapsed onto his knees, grasping his side as the blood flowed freely. There, on the ground beside him, with the vines wrapped around it like an anchor, was massive hunk of flesh, covered in blood. He could only look at it in horror, the pain paralyzing him. Masser as well had her face horror-stricken, her paws covering her mouth. Never had either of them suffered such an injury before, nor had they expected their foe to do such a thing. The silence was shattered by the haughty laughter of the plant, her crocodilian jaws letting the laughter boom out as it echoed all over the forest.
"Dear me, was that a pancreas I pulled out? Last time, it was a kidney.... No wait, it's only a flesh wound. And here I thought I actually had a good catch." She shook her head, as if truly disappointed, before continuing, "Don't worry, you can survive..your mother won't be attending your funeral over that reason." She hissed as the vines that made up her right hand twisted into a massive, ugly blade as large as she was. She held it over the head of the martial artist, and like the executioner many knew her to be, swung it right at the downed figure...
But it didn't hit the desired target.
A powerful blow nailed Yuuka in the throat, the force of the hit causing her to arch backwards. With it, her blade swung wild, and instead of hitting Bergunth, it sliced into Masser, who had come in to protect her brother. The blade had sliced through her belly armor, letting the blood flow from there. It wasn't a deep cut, but it was still damage done. As Masser stood infront of her brother, the towering fiend reared back over, her eyes narrowing at the bear infront of her. "Now that... was rude. Didn't your mother ever teach you to wait for your turn? Oh wait, no she didn't... She's just an alien bear. What would such brutish creatures that crush innocent flowers and tear up trees for their honey know about manners?" She growled, a hint of anger in her voice. The blade that was her hand reformed back, and faster than Masser could react, the hand was already on her forehead, with something in it, a primed vine thirsting for blood, ready to bore its way into Masser and wreck havoc on her flesh....

My apologies for dropping out on Gira again, but posting twice in a row is exhausting me waaay too much. My fault for just being too eager to write for Berg and have him team up with his sister. Forcing myself to come back all the time is no good, so I'll return to my hiatus.

((Gira suggested that I come up with a proper exit for this, so beware the mamma bear!))
Yuuka was ready to wreak the downed Masser brutally, but she would be denied this. Kitamura had enough. She could NOT stand idle while her precious little babies were being harmed! Stepping through a flaming portal, the muscular titan placed herself in front of Masser and Bergunth protectively. A thunderous roar soon rattled the abomination's ears like an earthquake:
"GET AWAY FROM THEM, YOU BITCH!"
With that last word, the ground split open with a wall of roaring flames as raging as the one that mastered them. Yuuka was caught amidst them and trapped, her body charred beyond recognition.
"I sure am goin' ta get my Blood boiled as torture later on, but I don't care. I get shot tranquilizers upon tranquilizers because I refuse to watch that “UCA” send my children in battle. I have confidence in their skills, but that’s not my point. There is nothing I hate more than watching them get hurt.”
Kit’s voice elevated to a deep growl. “I would split mountains and tear planets apart for my children. I would walk through hell and back for them. I would crush whole armies to keep them safe. I would punch Death itself in the face if it dared take them away from me. I would endure the worst tortures for them, especially Anti-Beast Blood injection! And, by Arctus' toes, I would certainly not regret anything.”
The vegetal monstrosity tried to raise a vine, but it dissolved into ash.
"Consider that a warnin'." Kit continued on a perfectly calm tone. Unsurprisingly, large guns rose from the ground and prepared to rain hell on her, but three rays of green light caught the trio of alien ursines. With a mere electric buzzing, the three were gone... but not to return to their UCA quarters; and possibly never...
