A pained caterwaul rang through the burning forest as Drakia was blown back by a powerful explosion. She plunged down through inferno, clawing frantically at the air. It was useless. There was nothing between her and the brutal embrace if the soot-covered ground. To make matters worse, Hera was swooping after her, the dragon's slobbering jaws cracking open to reveal her savage teeth. As the berserk giant was about to meet Drakia in mid-fall, the hyper-advanced lizard lashed out with her tail. Its spurred, arrowhead tip slashed at Hera's neck, slicing it open and releasing a downpour of blood. With a wail of pain, the she-dragon veered off, almost hitting a tree in her agony. Well, that took care of one problem. The forest floor raced up at Drakia. Gravity was a whole 'nother issue...
WHUMP!
The impact was quick and devastating. Blood leaked from Drakia's mouth and nose. Her lithe body was batter and bruised, not responding to her commands to get up. She was stunned. And Hera was back. Diving down like some avenging ghoul from Hell, the she-dragon folding her wings against her sides and streaked down like an arrow. A huge, reptilian, fire-spewing arrow. Drakia groaned in dread. She couldn't move, she could fight back! As the agile predator's frustration grew, so did Hera's excitement. She was going to end this once and for all! Unfortunately for the winged juggernaut, Drakia's hopes of moving were fulfilled before her hopes of killing. Drakia's claws whipped up with a splash of blood. Hera wailed in agony, crashing to the ground next to Drakia. Hissing angrily, the great lizard ripped her talons from Hera's body, splattering blood across the ground. Pinning the dragon under heavy paws, Drakia drove her saber-fangs into Hera's chest. The fire-raiser doubler over, grimacing and spitting up blood. Bellowing in rage, the blood-thirty creature took a huge swipe at her attacker. Pulling her saber-teeth the bloody sheaths they carved into Hera's flesh, Drakia jumped back, landing a safe distance from Hera.
Drakia's slitted eyes shot back and forth, looking for a good opportunity to attack. They settled on a rather large tree, its truck thinned and damaged by flames. Dashing over to it, she hacked at it with her talons, ignoring the pain of the embers burning into her skin. The base eventually gave way and the tree slowly toppled, falling straight towards Hera...

The tree feel for Hera, but she was more then aware of it. As it came at her, she gulped a huge peice of air and fired. The explosion sent the chared peices of wood in all directions.
But it was a play! Drakia lunged throught he flames and right into Hera's face. The surprise caught her off gaurd as she was sent to the ground in half a second. Drakias fangs found the dragoness's neck and bore deep. Hera flailed about for a moment, then gave the lizard a good hard wack, sending Drakia off a few feet who landed perfectly on her feet like a cat. then she bolted again, toward the super tree.
Hera got to her claws and tried chasing after her, spewing fire. But the trees stopped her and she had to back up. She was now sluggish due to the venom, but far from done. Backing up, she spread her wings and took to the sky again. thankfully for Drakia, the trees gave her cover. But yet again, the monotonus rain of fireballs began again. Though this time Drakia kept a fair eye on the sky. With skill, the trail to the tree was without a hitch.
At last she made it to the first massive root. Swiftfully she hid under it to catch her breath. She peeked out to look at the sky. Hera was high above, still aimlessly bombing the sea of trees. Flames were not too far off now, so there was no time to mess around. Using the tangles of roots and vines, Drakia began to make her way up. Branches and outcrops of wood gave alot of room to move around. This was good, considering being on flat ground was the worst thing as proven. Now maybe she could match the fire breathing monsters wicked agility.
Hera saw the lizard that was climbing the tree. The speed was to be admired, if she didnt have constant rage on her mind. Without delay, she began to fire a constant assault of blazing meteors. Drakia could easily see them comming. With her nimble body, she began to move, fast. The first few collided with the roots; the explosions erupted violently. The roots, thicker and ancient with time, withstood most of the abuse. While the flames burned and weakened, they were holding... for now. The lizard began to perfectly avoid the balls of flame as she raced around the trees base. To move at any direction, angle, and with skill; she was able to move great distance with one leap. So much so that she flared her fins every other branch to mock and draw Hera in.
Which worked a bit too well. Hera was utterly glowing in immense wrath. The bombs kept comming, hitting the hard and thick roots. Yet they still held. But with all the flames on, around and under the roots from the raging forest fire, they may not last for too long... Hera eventually swooped in, and Drakia was waiting with eager anticipation. When Hera came close, she banked hard, spewing a stream of flames. Drakia jumped higher up, avoiding with ease as the bark and branch began burning and smoking. Hera turned and took a swipe toward her prey; Drakia ducked and easily avoided. Hera's claw instead hit the tree, and she anchored to the bark. she slid down, but clung to the tree with her claws. With hateful eyes, she looked up toward Drakia, and began firing again. Drakia skillfully dodged and kept scaling the mile high tree. The dragon dislodged and soared out of the tree. Turning her head toward the trees side, she began to bombard again. This time she aimed ahead of Drakia. The idea worked, as Drakia got cut off by the explosions. No big deal, she turned and took another branch.
Down below, the flames spread amonst all the trees on one side and was quickly stretching. The smoke was now so thick, the sky was black and the red flames casted a red gloom up toward the sky against the clouds. Soon the entire tree will be completly surrounded with intense flames...
As Drakia was nearing the top, Hera decided to come from above and dive down at her, spitting a long heavy stream of flames...

The jet of smothering flames washed over Drakia. She screeched in agony, but refused to fall. Instead, she clung close to the tree truck and endured. Hera, seeing her fire failing to dislodge her prey from the tree, swooped in, intent on shredding with her savage claws. As she close in, Drakia's tail moved at an incredible speed, becoming a blur. Its sharp arrowhead tip laid open the dragon's side, only stopping when it bounced off her ribs. The furious fire-raiser wailed in pain and crashed squarely into the tree. Snarling and spitting, the winged terror plunged. With her foe distracted by trying not being splattered across the landscape, Drakia continued climbing.
Far below her, Hera managed to catch the air with her wings, taking flight once again. Great wings beating frantically, the dragoness shot upwards, hellbent on ending Drakia. But the hyper-developed lizard had already reached the top of the tree. Fins whipping open, Drakia launched herself to the winds. Hera would have laughed if she could. Was that beast truly stupid enough to challenge her in her own domain? Roaring, the she-dragon rushed the gliding giant. But if Hera had been more observant, she might have noticed something in Drakia's back talons- a burning branch. As the berserker closed the distance, Drakia kicked back and shoved the smoldering branch down Hera's throat with a sizzle. A high squeal came from the dragon as she clawed desperately at the branch. Unknown to the pained creature, Drakia had puffed herself up, decreasing her aerodynamics and falling behind Hera. By now, the two were very close to the burning forest below. Having managed to rip the flaming branch for her mouth, Hera bellowed in a blind rage, head whipped back and forth in search of a foe that had just been in front of her. Her search came to an abrupt end when Drakia's claws bit into her back.
Screaming as her flesh was parted, Hera lost control and went into a nosedive, wings hanging uselessly at her sides. Drakia landed safely on a tree-top. Peering down from her perch, the preadtory reptile watched Hera plummet into the inferno that she herself had started, pleasure evident in her yellow cat eyes...

Hera shreiked as she kept falling. She opened her wings, catching just barley enough wind to slow herself down. She flailed as she soared over the trees and back around to the super trees major roots. She caught on, sliding over the surface and leading a long trail of gashes down the bark.
All around, the roots were blazing. The part Hera landed on had already been torched badly. most of it was not brittlbe burnt wood that easily crumbled. Even the top of the tree was beginning to set on fire from the breif brawl in the tree tops. Soon it would be in fire too.
Hera felt her open cuts. For the first time in long ages, she felt afraid and need to retreat. But this wasnt the place, nor the time. she was still full of anger and rage, wanting revenge so she can burn all this land into ashes as it deserves. Opening her maw wide, she roared and fired a fireball down into the root. the explosion caused the already badly damaged root to shatter into fresh splinters that quick turned into a blaze.
Drakia snorted in irritation that the dragon didnt fall into the hot fires and burn to death. She began leaping from tree to tree, all which were burnt and still baring hot embers. But Drakia bounded to fast for any burns to take on her skin. Hera heard the creature comming through the trees and turned to face. She released a long stream of red hot flames into the already damaged trees. Drakia had a fair distance from the flames and quickly banked to the right side and down near the root. She leapt onto it and raced up the massive peice of burn wood and toward Hera. The dragon turned just in time as Drakia lunged, and Drakia slammed into her. Claws ripped into Hera's neck and shoulders, as Heras jaws slammed shut on Drakias fin. Both tumbled to the forest floor in a melee battle. Hera jerked her head, ripping some webbing out of Drakias fin. Drakia didnt like that and bit at Heras horns just as they hit the soft ashed covered ground. Hera was onto this time, but thrashed from Drakias teeth on her horn. Thrashing about, Hera stumbled off Drakia, but yanked as the teeth would not leave her horn. Drakia slashed at Heras face as she had her locked, but it didnt do much since Hera kept throwing herself about in a struggle.
Finally Hera released fire, causing Drakia to back away to avoid flames. Now Hera was free. Drakia braced, but no attack came. Instead, Hera was staring the lizard down, her eyes full of hatredfor the lizards very existance. Drakia stared back, just as much dislike for the dragon flowing out. All around them, smoke and flames went into the sky. This entire battle between the two had completly destroyed most of the surrounding area. While this forest was miles upon miles going across the planet, the flames stull left a hidious scar on the surface. The damage would be a reminding to what Hera could do... thankfully, she wasnt a male. so this damage is minor.
A low grumble came from Hera in a threatening way. The finned lizard hissed back, her fins slowling going up to intimidate her foe. She braced, her wings stretching out a bit as if ready to fly. Tension was rising and getting as thick as the smoke filled air. Then Hera fired! Drakia jumped to the side and the blazing projectile hit a burnt tree, sending it into the wind as it exploded into ash. Another and another fireball, each missing as Drakia kept side stepping. The lizard then bolted into the treeline, the angry dragon fallowing. The durable trees normally would stop Hera since they were strong, but the flames had weakened them. Hera ws now smashing her way through them, easily snapping them easily like twigs. But Drakia was quick and nimble, despite her injuries. While Hera bullrushed through the trees, she used them to her advantage by pouncing through what little usefull limbs were left. The chase was on!
Hera fired more blazing fire after Drakia, a wall of flame now billowing toward Drakia as she ran through the maze of dead, black trees...

Drakia was beginning to slow. All the dodging and ducking she had done had taken its toll, tiring her severely. And Hera certainly wasn't letting up. The furious beast was right on her tail, snarling and screaming for blood. Her blood. The dragon was persistent, that was undeniable. But that wasn't everything in battle. Drakia was sure her speed, agility, and wits could overcome Hera's brute force and will. Determination set itself on the lithe brawler's face.
It was fight time.
Scooping up a large log in her talons, Drakia spun around and hurled the fallen tree trunk at Hera. The log caught the dragon right in the face. Shrieking in pain and shock, the winged nightmare went down, crashing into the ground. The forest was still blazing arund them. Drakia assumed that all the smaoke would blur Hera's vision and make her vulnerable. Wrong. Undetered by the smoke and flames, Hera threw herself at Drakia. The berserk giant smashed the hyper-evolved lizard across the face with her wings, claws cutting into flesh. Drakia reeled back, blood pouring from her cheek. Hera lunged again, wings and jaws snapping open. But Drakia was ready this time. Moving in the blink of an eye, the swift reptile lashed out with her claws. Her curved talons batted Hera's head, throwing her to the side and spitting her scalp open. As the dragoness fell past, the wily predator delivered a bone-jarring kick to her ribs, further changing her trajectory. Hera hit the ground hard, blood leeking down her face and side.
With her foe temporarily downed, Drakia pounced, saber-teeth set to plunge into Hera's neck...

When Drakia landed, her teeth almost hit him! But Hera jerked her head up and instead of the fangs getting her neck, instead the horns butted against her lower jaw and caused Drakias head to recoil. A tooth cracked from the impact; somthing that would heal fast after the battle as with all Kaiju.
With a few powerful flaps of the wings, Hera lifted off the ground and with Drakia hanging on as a passanger. It was a short flight, since Drakias weight sure didnt help, plus the claws raking at the dragons back. Hera stumbled a landing, and began to thrash and shake around. But Drakia wouldent give up the game! The bladed tail slammed its tip right into Hera's tail and coiled, hanging on. The suddent stab made Hera thrash even further. The lizards jaws opened and clamp shut at the base of Hera's neck. Immediatly the dragon was sent into a raging frenzy. After much bucking, Hera at last flung herself at a tree and tripped, causing her to barrel roll half way. Drakia was smashed against the burning tree, between the charred wood and Hera's body. The blow caused the lizard to let go and fall off. However she was back on her feet in a moments notice.
Hera backed off and gained her bearings. The two glared at each other, ready to continue this fight despite there severe wounds. Then... a very noticable "SNAP!" echoed through out the sky. The noise was so sudden and sharp, both Hera and Drakia looked around from being startled. Then another loud "Cr-cr-craaccck!" turnedt here attention to the massive tree that grew miles into the sky.
The roots of that tree were damaged greatly... too greatly. The anceint natural monolith was loosing support and beginning to tip.... and worse, tipping toward the two battling Kaiju. Hera's firepower and destructive nature had caused somthing that put her own life at risk!
Both of the Kaijus eyes widen as they looked at each other. Hera was angry at the world and wanting to burn to dust, but she wasnt stupid! Drakia was already on the move, rushing past Hera! Immediatly the Crypt Dragon began to scramble to avoid being crushed alive under a massive burning log. Her wings opened and she was airborn within moments.
Snaps and cracks filled the air as the trees roots were giving into the immense weight. The more it tilted, the faster it was falling. The burning top of branchs and leaves, made a meteor looking spectacle as it closed distance between sky and earth.
Her wings beat franticly to move from the distance of the tree trunk that was miles wide. Down below, Drakia bolted through trees with every ounce of skill she could muster. It was going to be close! Freefalling now, the tree was going to hit. Hera spread her wings to catch the wind, and Drakia dive bombed for cover!
The trunk of the tree slamed into the earth with such force that it could easily be picked up by a richter scale for great distance. The flames around the trunk were blown out by the wind that was kicked up by the mass falling, and sendind debris and hurricane like destructiong into the surrounding area. Hera's wings caught the wind perhaps too well... the light kite-like body she had was sent tumbling and turning into the ground, crashing into trees for several of her own body lenghts. Drakia had about the same thing. The hyper lizard was sent rolling across the earth, hitting everything possible except for maybe the kitchin sink! Dust was sent up into the air and made a thick ashy fog that made everything difficult to see...
Beat up and bruised, Drakia got up from her spot. All around, dead trees and ash was all that was could be seen. Like snow, bits of ash came down and covered the ground in a gentle, calming way... so much destruction. It was a horrible scene really. That dragon... that angry creature, did all this and wasnt even trying. The idea so much could be lost over one fight made her blood boil. Suddenly, Hera exploded from behind a line of burnt back trees, right arm high to slam her fist down into Drakia! Hera took alot of damage... one of her wings was torn up to the point she wasnt going to be flying for a while, and was covered in several cuts from the brutal landing...

Hera smacked Drakia across the head, slamming her into the ashy ground. The blow was a hard one, blood oozing into the finned lizard's eyes. Struggling to her feet, it took all of her strength to leap away from another swing. Drakia was bone-tired, physically and spirit-wise. If she had a choice, she would cease fighting and flee. But she couldn't. The fire and its point of origin were a deadly combination. If she focused on Hera, the flames could claim her and if she focused on the flames, Hera could slay her. There was no way she could avoid one without encountering the other. Legs spread wide for support and shoulder hunched, Drakia narrowed her slitted eyes with a low, guttural growl. There was only one way she could escape without any further harm.
She had to defeat Hera.
Drakia launched herself at the dragon, claws outstretched. Hera was taken back by the ferocity of the attack. The change in tactic from the usually sly, careful beast caught her off guard. Just as Drakia had hoped. The hyper-advanced lizard slammed into Hera, sinking her hooked talons into the she-dragon's neck. Fresh blood flowed, soaking Drakia in a crimson spray. Hera went wild, bucking and thrashing madly, but Drakia refused to let go. The lithe giant was whipped about like a rag doll, her limpness actually allowing her to hang on. Why fight something when you can simply go with it? Hera slowly caught on. Stopping, the fire-raiser rushed a large tree, hoping to crush Drakia against it. As the berserk creature barreled at the charred trunk, Drakia leapt away. Even though she realized the clever predator had moved from harm's way, Hera was going to fast to stop and ran right into the tree. The base of the tree gave way and it fell, squashing an already stunned Hera under its weight. Drakia stood a little ways off, lying low to the ground. Her yellow eyes were bright with amusement. Hera was not such a good sport about it. Throwing the fallen tree from her with a great heave and a crash, the winged terror charged, half-flying and half-running. The lopsided rush was an unsuccessful one though, as Drakia easily danced from Hera's path. And as she did, the wily brawler raked her claws along the dragon's side, opening three long gashes and unleashing a torrent of blood.
Hera wheeled around, spitting in almost blinding anger. She charged Drakia again. As the dragoness closed the distance, Drakia whipped around and lashed out with her serpentine tail. Its sharp, blade-like point shot towards Hera's throat, tip glinting dangerously...

The bladed tail slammed into Hera's neck, causing her to shrill in pain. But instead of reeling back or thrashing, Hera reached up with her claw and grasped the tail of the lizard and pulled the sharp spear out. Blood sprouted out like a sprinkler. Thankfully nothing too vital was struck. though it sure pissed off the dragon! With a yank, Drakia was pulled under Hera's body kicking and shreiking. Drakias thrashing claws found flesh, bringing out more blood. But Hera began to pummle and beat Drakia with the muscular.
Eventually Drakia was getting the sense beat of her. The claws kept striking her face, making her dizzy until her movements got sluggish. When the moment arrived, Hera rasped her claws around the lizards head and flung her away. Drakia skidded acrosst he ashy earth, dazed from the blows to her head. The dragon limped over... she was slow too, from Venom and lose of blood. But that poweful hateful will managed to keep her up. She pinned the lizards head down and readied to breath a blast of fire... but as the flames came up, she gagged. Instead of a blast of flame, there was a loud hissing sound. The wound in Hera's neck shot a long stream of fire and burnt her own skin. Hera flinched back and shook her head around as the flames sealed the wound painfully.
As Hera was distracted, Drakia gained her senses and lunged! Her fangs found the dragons muzzle and crushed shut. Beginning to thrash, the she-dragon swings her head back and forth trying to shake her off. She reached up to bat at the lizard, but instead the wing feel back down. At about the same time, Drakia fell back and let go of Hera's muzzle and began backing up. Hera sat still where she was for the moment... Both were tired... tremendously tired. Right now, boht were probably running on adrenaline and energy reserves.
Hera took a deep breath, and lunged for Drakia once more!

As Hera screamed towards her, Drakia made no move to avoid the shrieking dragon. Instead, the wickedly clever beast reared up and let Hera land atop her, knocking her to her back. The dragon snarled in pleasure, looking upon her prey's face for fear. There was none. Drakia's yellow cat eyes locked onto hers and her mouth curled into what appeared to be a sly grin. Hera roared in outrage. How dare the stupid lizard mock her! The winged horror tired to savage Drakia, but the wily giant simply placed her back talons against the berserk creature's stomach and kicked. Drakia's powerful hind legs sent Hera flying- and not out of her own power or will. Tumbling through the air in the most ungrateful way possible, Hera smashed through several blackened trees before hitting the forest floor with a dull whumph! Rolling to her feet with feline elegance, Drakia quietly rotted over to survey the damage she had done.
It was quite the sight.
Not only was Hera badly battered and bruised, but large splinters dotted the beast's body, some still burning. Hera winced has she rose, each movement bringing pain as the splinters shifted. But all the pain faded when the dragoness saw Drakia, observing her like a cat would a mouse. Vision going red, the furious fire-raiser lunged. Drakia was unprepared for the sudden attack and couldn't move before Hera crashed into her. With a huge swiped of her clawed wing, the berserker open a nasty gash in the lizard's side and threw her to the ground heavily. Hera lunged again, but Drakia quickly leapt to her feet and countered. Jumping clear over the she-dragon, the agile brawler made a spin in midair and landed on Hera's shoulders. Hissing loudly, Drakia stabbed down with her saber-teeth, piercing Hera's flesh with a wet pop! Although her cracked tooth sent a spike of agony hacking into her gums, Hera's pained wail more than made up for it. The berserker thrashed around in a fit, trying to fling Drakia from her back. But the finned reptile stood strong, clinging to Hera like a big cat to a hapless victim. This was especially impressive considering the 'hapless victim' was a fiery-breathed dragon as big as a pod of whales. However, even the most tenacious of carnivores are bested sometimes, as Drakia was finally wretched loose from her perch and hurled straight up into the air. Her vertical trajectory negating any lift needed to glide, Drakia was helpless as Hera lined herself up below, jaws opening wide.
Unless...
Twisting to fall back-first, Drakia unfurled her fins. The razor-edged spines were now facing down towards Hera. The dragon recognized this and tried to move, but gravity was just a bit faster. Drakia fell straight onto Hera, spines plunging into the Crypt Dragon's back. Hera squealed in pain as the organic blades cut deeply into her flesh, spilling a shocking amount of blood. She bucked and easily tossed Drakia from her back. Being upside-down, the hyper-advanced reptile had no way of holding on.
As she hit the ground though, Drakia's paws flashed out, their hooked claws aimed at Hera's gut...

Hera Flapped her wings hard and pulled away from the oncomming claws. If her wing wasnt torn to shreds, she would have gone airborne from that. If only she could... But Drakia fallowed up on the attack, bounding off the first attack and up toward the semi-airborne Hera. She collided and both went tumbling back down to earth. Soon as Hera was on her back, she began biting up at Drakia to try and get her teeth in.
Drakia clawed and snapped back to try to finish this. But the damn dragon just wouldent give a moment chance. Instead, Hera managed to dig her teeth Drakia's arm and crush down that caused Drakia to gasp a shrill of pain. She tried to pull back, but Hera's teeth were too deep in her skin. The dragoness then rolled over, pinning Drakia. Soon as she did, she started pulling back so she could tear off the blasted lizard arm. The lizard shrieks and struggles as muscle and tendons began ripping. Before her arm was taking off, Her back legs give a deep hard kick into Hera's gut, cutting deep enough to make her gag and let go. A small wave of the mutagenic blood splattered all over Drakias legs and lower body.
But now Hera was enraged again that she got such a bad wound, and pulled her wing back to slam her claw into Drakias face...

Hera swung down, trying to pound the hyper-evolved lizard's face in. Eyes glinting, Drakia snapped open her jaws and chomped down! Hera squealed in pain, trying to rip her clawed wing from Drakia's crushing bite, but the lithe giant simply wouldn't let her. The great reptile's saber-teeth were firmly anchored into her flesh and sharp fangs were shredding away at her as she struggled. Snarling, the berserker took a more forceful approach and raised her other set of claws threateningly. But before she could lunge, Drakia pulled her hind legs close to her narrow chest and kicked out, slamming her clawed feet into the she-dragon's lower jaw. Hera gave a muffled scream of pain, blood pouring from her mouth. She stumbled away, groaning in agony. Drakia quickly rolled to her feet and stalked away, moving to a safe distance to observe Hera. The dragoness was on the ground, claws tenderly feeling her jaw. It wasn't broken, but many of her teeth were cracked or even splintered, stabbing into her gums. As she tongued at her mangled maw gently, fury set itself into the fire-raiser's soul, hellfire blazing in her eyes.
Whipping around with a bellow, the dragon threw herself at Drakia.
Hera barged into Drakia, nearly bowling her over. With a terrible scream of vengeance, the dragon bit into the finned lizard's shoulder. Drakia arched her spine in pain and wailed. Yanking away, she managed to free herself. Hera roared, not willing to let her prey escape. She launched herself at Drakia again. But the clever giant's tail whipped out and the blood coating it was thrown into the dragoness's eyes. Crying out in outrage, Hera pawed at her eyes, wiping the blood from them. Her head snapped up, searching for Drakia. But the wily beast was gone. Eyes narrowed and suspicious, Hera scanned the still burning forest, her critical gaze sweeping the ground, trees, and sky.
A taunting purr came from directly above her.
At the same moment that Hera's head angled up in sharp alarm, Drakia slammed her forelegs down on the base of the branch she was perched on, snapping it from the trunk of the tree. She literally rode the charred branch down, aiming it at Hera. The winged creature gaped in shock, too stunned to move. Then the dragon saw that the branch's end was burned into a sharp point. Hera was brought back into reality as she realized she was about to be skewered. Scrambling, she tried to avoid the falling branch. She was just a moment too late. Just as Drakia sprung off the branch, its sharpened tip plunging into Hera's armored back. It didn't penetrate too far, but that didn't keep it from hurting like hell. She shrieked in agony, head almost lying against her back as she howled in pain.
With a savage hiss, Drakia pounced and slashed at Hera's exposed neck with her recurved talons...

(And thats all she wrote! Holy hell this was one helluva battle. Chaos everywhere, witty cat-dragon vs pissed off apoctolyptic dragon. What a match.)
The claws rack Hera's back neck deep enough to get her attention. Blood poured as she whipped her head back and snapped at the lizard, but Drakia was just a smidge too fast. Though that didnt stop Hera from starting up the chase again. She charged right after, one wing claw stomping right after another. Drakia was forced to run to avoid any more damage. At this point, any further damage might prove too much for either. the only difference, where Drakia was fully aware of that, Hera wasnt. Hera was too clouded by her wrathful disposition to care to care all that greatly. Even as Hera smashed through more burnt trees, she was wearing herself down. Its a miracle she had not fallen already due to lack of blood. Her hormones and passionete emoitions of anger must have been somthing to admire.
Drakia pounced, perfectly, up to a still standing tree. Brittle as it was, she could use them to some extent. She then jumped to another branch, and another. Hera yet still fallowed, smashing the trees as she went. It seemed Drakia was going to outrun Hera this time, since the dragon could not fly anymore due to her turn up wing. But both forgot one of Hera's crucial strong points... Fire! For the first time since her neck was damaged, Hera launched a fireball after Drakia. It missed, but it flew ahead and exploded, creating a wall of flame and destruction. Immediatly Drakia skidded to a stop on her branch. Just enough time for Hera to reach it and smash the damage chared trunk into the trunk and causing the structure to crumble to the ground. The hyper-evolved lizard shrilled in surprised. As she fell, Hera caught her with the teeth going into her back. With one strong swing of her head, she flung Drakia into the nearest chared up tree.
The impact made it fall apart. Before Drakia could rise, Hera fired another fireball down into the pile of alredy burnt wood. A massive plume of fire and smoke rose from the earth, fallowed by a bonfire like scene... All was silent.... was Drakia finally dead? Hera could hardly beleive that was true... she crept closer, leering at the flames. It turned out to be a mistake. Drakia lunged out of the fire with a battlecry, fangs comming out and biting down on Hera's shoulder and drawing blood. However, Drakia had some bad injuries from that last attack. Her ribs on her right side showed from where flames had burned her open as well as other major burns across her body. No bleeding came out thanks to the fire sealing off her veins, but it would hurt later thats for sure. The two tumbled and rolled, fighting again in a brawl. The lizard proved one hell of a fighting spirit. Anyone watching this fight had to admit that.
Hera grasped the neck of the lizard with her wing claw and ripped her off, bringing flesh with her from her shoulder. She tossed Drakia off, then released a wall of flame after her before she even looked to see where she landed in a blind anger...

Very good fight, I had trouble keeping up with you two as much as you posted. In the end, I feel Hera managed to cause better damage. But it was damn close.
Hera wins.
