"False gods?" Auroros tilted his head, his eyes glancing about dully as the words entered his ears. "What false gods? There are many eldritch beings here, but none I would call a "False God", especially a hero who defended this world from certain destruction."

With Kadru still shocked beyond words, it was Selstar who stepped up to answer. “I am sorry – the False Gods are an obscure name only used by those few of us that survived their wrath. Their true names however are known across the cosmos."
“They are Leviathan, the Lord of the Sea, Ziz, the Queen of the Sky, and Behemoth, God of the Earth. At least one of them is here, and should his brethren join him, there is a huge risk of another war. Mountains will crumble. Seas will boil. Molten fire will spread across the land.”

"Ah yes..." Asmodeus was quick to respond, now that she knew what Selstar was talking about. She had been so certain it was Thresher they were speaking of... "Well, I saw Leviathan here a while back, but he hasn't been here in quite some time. Last I saw, a ghost had eaten up his pinky toe." She chuckled as she recalled that little incident. Oh, the party she had thrown... and with False Gods there as well. "Eat your heart out Captain Failic" She muttered under her breath, before resuming in a voice the others could hear, "as for this Ziz... I recall seeing a large elegant bird fighting off the Horsemen, and if I am not mistaken, that should be her over there." She pointed over to a video of the harbor fight, with Ziz dealing with Cerulean and the giant spider Volucris, before resuming, "So, if we are to guess Leviathan is still here... then all three of your False Gods are indeed currently at this place. Behemoth, who fought off Orsa with the other heroes, Ziz, who fought off the Horsemen, and Leviathan, who got his pinky toe skeletonized."

"Behemoth? A false god?" Auroros shook his head in disagreement. "You must have something wrong. Behemoth was one of the bravest fighters I've ever seen. Perhaps a bit rough around the edges, but no one to be afraid of. And I recall Kori speaking of Ziz before; she too fought bravely in their failed attempt to defeat the horsemen. Perhaps you have the wrong monsters?"

Kadru had fallen silent, her back turned to the others as she starred at the screen Asmodues had pointed out. Again, it was Selstar who was forced to speak.
“Bravery does not equal a strong moral. Despite what they may have done individually, it doesn’t change their complete disregard for mortal life. Our home world was destroyed as collateral damage in their war, and one in particular followed what few survivors remained into the depths of the underworld itself to finish them off.” He gestured to the screen that had Kadru’s attention. “And as an Ophorus of the Temple of the Sky – an elite warrior who’s duty was once to serve the Gods – I can tell you beyond doubt that the bird onscreen is indeed Ziz.”
Despite his calm demeanour, Selstar was silently screaming inside his head. All three were possibly here? This was far worse then he could have imagined.

"Well... perhaps something happened to cause this sort of accident." Asmodeus implored, curiosity about the whole incident getting the better of her. Behemoth and Ziz were heroes... the former temperamental, atleast, but still a heroic entity. To wipe out an entire world... what the heck could have happened that provoked THAT to be? "What perhaps started this war to make them do what they did? And even if what your saying is true.. then just leave it to those here at the UCA. The monsters here ended Orsa... so they can just as easily stop your False Gods from getting into another hissy fit."

“That’s the question, isn’t it?” Kadru had finally turned away from the screen, speaking for the first time. Her mask did well to hide the fear present on her face. “No one knows why they did it. No one knows what could have caused their betrayal.”
“N – no… no of course not,” Selstar was quick to agree, earning a venomous glare from Kadru. He shrank back a bit, hoping that no one had noticed his brief agitation.
“But that’s not what matters,” she continued on. “They betrayed our race. They destroyed our home. And if the events of Old Hell are of any indication, they’re more than willing to finish what they started. We may have defeated Orsa, but not without thousands of lives lost along the way, and the False Gods have proven their willingness to obliterate anything that stands in their way.”
“You see, Kadru,” said Selstar, letting out a sigh of relief that she knew of the danger they were in. Perhaps now she would be more cooperative. “The False Gods are enemies of us both. We need to put aside our differences if the UCA is to be spared by their wrath. I only wish to help the inhabitants-“
“Shut up, Selstar,” she snapped, wheeling about to face him. “We both know you only want to save your own skin.”
Selstar silently cursed himself. “That’s – no… Does it really matter? We’re all in danger.”
Kadru narrowed her eyes, searching her enemy’s masked face. “And just what do you want my help for? I’ve seen the way you hide behind the UCA and your machines of war.” She crossed her arms. “You’re a coward. You’re not planning to attack them yourself.”
The nerve of her! Now it was Selstar’s turn to keep his rising animosity in check. “You know the residents here better than I do,” he said, spitting out each word slowly. “I’m looking for someone that isn’t bound by the walls of the UCA. Someone that can journey through the boundaries of time, space and dimensions.”
“Why?” she demanded.
“Because I need something.”
“A weapon?”
A small smiled tugged at his cheeks beneath his mask. “Not exactly.”
She scowled. Whatever Selstar had in mind, she had a feeling it wouldn’t be good. But with all three of the False Gods here, did she really have a choice? “Look for an old hag they call Yukari. She likes to disguise herself as a young girl. I’m sure you two freaks will get along just fine.”
“Ah…” he exclaimed. “And where is this Yukari?”
Kadru sneered at the memory. “The last I saw of her, she was being hunted down by some sadistic flower named Yuuka. I’m sure you’ll find her cowering somewhere.”
Beneath his mask, Selstar smiled as well. So this Yukari was in danger as well? Excellent!
“Thank you, Kadru,” he said. “You have done the UCA a great service.”
He got only a menacing stare. “This still isn’t over,” she said.
“No,” he acknowledged, strolling out the door with a grin on his face. “No it isn’t.”

Auroros' eyes narrowed as he sensed Selstar leave the room. He didn't like the feeling that being gave him... his mind was clouded by dark thoughts, his emotions out of control. Auroros turned to Kadru and looked her in the face.
"I do not trust him. That slimy worm is up to no good, heading to Yukari... I must investigate this..."
Auroros soon stomped out to follow Selstar....

ALl the while, Asmodeus just sat back and watched. This was all quite humorous, and all the more interesting. Whatever Selstar had planned, she wanted to know... but that could wait in time. Right now, it seemed poor Seeker was confused by what had just happened, having stayed silent the whole time. "Seeker... is there anything you are curious about for this place?" She asked, staying there... might as well keep the newbie company.
