Scedein slid around his quarters, incredibly bored. He had been effortlessly chucked away by the ugly nuclear aberration with no effort whatsoever, the beast paced out of his quarters, spotting a kaiju along the way. He attempted to telepathically communicate. "Hello..."

The beast in question, was a massive beardillo creature, a heavily armored insectivore that was sniffing around for something to eat. When he heard the voice in his mind, the simple beast reared onto his hind legs, and looked at Scedein. It was something of an odd creature, serpentine in shape... but not exactly like a snake either. He tilted his head, before sitting back down on his haunches and opening his mouth in a bit of a yawn. perhaps... it too was hungry?

Scedein tried to communicate with this strange bear creature, as the thing intimidated him. "Hello, what brings you near my humble abode?"

Gulodus knew what the words meant. After all, he and Utsuho shared an owner, who constantly walked to them, both verbally and telepathically. However, unlike the bird, he couldn't turn into a human... and he lacked telepathy, so at best, if the snake could read his mind, they'd be able to understand each other. A half gargled grumble escaped the creature, as he rubbed his stomach, his way of letting Scedein know he had come for food. He turned his head to look around, to see if there was anyone there...
For the moment, atleast, they were alone...

Scedein could not read minds, but understood the gestures Gulodus made. He ran inside his quarters, finding both a larger than normal tomato and several huge slabs of venison, offering both to the beardillo.

The halls shook under the footsteps of a nearby titan. Temporarily drawing herself from the screen on which she, her brother and Isaarker watched the ongoing Tag Team Championship in which her mother fought, Masser was in search of a snack. She had eaten her portion of the food the untouchable Isaarker had gotten for the occasion, but she was still hungry. Considering her gluttonous personality, this was not surprising. Fortunately, she could still follow the Championship on screens scattered across the Hub.
So far, her wandering had not achieved her any honey or fish, but it had brought the ursine colossus creatures she had never seen before. Though a loner most of the time, Matsumura enjoyed meeting new faces - one of them was a fellow ursine, and she was sure that she had already seen him before. The towering blue bear stepped closer. Even if she was showing no signs of aggression at all, her size was intimidating to most monsters, much like a grizzly rearing to its hind legs and walking next to humans - but Masser was a teddybear... unless provoked.

Scedein noticed the ursine beasts, but did not take action forthwith, instead focusing on whether Gulodus would even react to its offering. However, Masser was unnervingly cute.

Gulodus carefully sniffed out the food that had been laid out before him. It was odd, seeing another beast that he had never met before be so nice to him. Usually, there was conflict and squabbling over such meal items. But, a free meal was always welcome to the starving beardillo. He looked at Scedein, as if to say thanks, only to notice Masser. He had seen that bear before, just once, it a familiar face nonetheless. He reared uup on his hind legs as well, as if to size up the other creature. He was the slightly larger of the two...
He dropped back down and secured the meat for himself, hungrily ripping them apart... but leaving the large tomato untouched...

Nucleaphage, out of random luck, or probably just boredom with tracking Utsoho, had re-appeared. The massive, eyeless kaiju lumbered down the corridors, pausing briefly to inspect each door through unknown means before moving on again. The creature had no grudge against Sceiden, and was not here to continue the conflict from earlier, nonetheless, the thought had crossed its mind that the serpent did not see things the same way and it was prepared to shoe the sea-monster away again if necessary.
Cerataurus observes the much larger monster from several hundred yards down the way, head poked around a corridor, body settled against the floor but ready to move quickly if the thing proved to be hostile. She honestly wasn't sure what to make of it. The serpent-thing had attacked it, and it had done little more than toss it away. It seemed almost... passive. And yet something so heavily armored and armed couldn't really be passive, could it?
It was a matter of consideration, but out of caution, Cerataurus was choosing to do her consideration from a very long distance.

Scedein, lying low, notices Cerataurus and decides to play nice for now, showing no aggression for now, instead trying to communicate with the bat. "Hello, fellow beast, I noticed you speaking Standard in the hall earlier, perhaps we can create an alliance? That strange hulking beast up there is tracking a strange form of energy, it could empower him to destructively high levels."

Cerataurus blinks as she turns to Scedein, somewhat surprised by the sea-serpent's sudden appearance.
"Could empower him? He looks plenty powerful at the moment. Hmmm. Perhaps. But this place is not easy on alliances, I think. We may have to fight oneanother in the future."
Cerataurus returns her gaze to the Nucleaphage, hunkering down onto her haunches and lashing her tail.
"Yes. He bears watching."

The Nucleaphage heard everything the two smaller monsters were talking about and was, frankly, totally indifferent on the matter. If they wanted to watch it, they were welcomed to.
In the meantime, it was interested in the corridors which the other monsters seldom frequented. With an almost too-low-to-hear keening noise resonating in its chest, the dai kaiu turns about and lumbers down a different hall, tail-spikes grating against the floor and jumping slightly each time one of its footsteps reverberates out through the halls.
The Nucleaphage walks and keeps walking, long after most monster would become bored or give up.
It reaches halls where only the emergency lights are on, places where the usually green-lit monster quarters are dark, and in some cases, wide open. Dirt crunches under its feet and at one point, something mutters and scuttles away.
The Nucleaphage is... Unfazed.
The enormous kaiju continues its ponderous way down the halls, which are now outright dark, though the monster, which does not see in the traditional sense, does not know this and would not care if it did. Something bangs into its head, and the Nucleaphage for the first time, starts slightly.
It's a security weapon. The kaiju had not detected it due to its shielding, which shorted out its electromagnetic and radio vision, making the inactive weapon hanging from the ceiling by cobweb encrusted wires and weathered servos almost invisible by the Nucleaphage's standards.
With a click of distaste, it continues, walking straight through a titanic cobweb and knocking over what looks to be an ancient cleaning drone, though the Nucleaphage gives it no real thought.
It takes simple joy in the solitude of the place, stopping and simply standing still in the dark, amber light throwing strange shadows against the dusty walls.

The beardillo watched the events going on around him, until he realized that Masser seemed hungry. Deciding to do what the snake had done for him, he pushed the tomato over toward the female bear, offering it to her. It was the least he could do, since he wasn't much for the odd food item... were they fruits, or veggies? He had no idea...

Nosing through another layer of cobwebs, the Nucleaphage lumbers into the abandoned quarters of some long-gone monster and stands still again, listening to sounds most beings wouldn't be able to hear and mapping the derelect room down to each individual micrometer.
Cerataurus eyes the Beardillo with a small measure of curiosity, though her mind is still on the Nucleaphage.
Perhaps the creature had the right idea in going off to explore or whatever it had done? But what if Cerataurus ran into it in some dark, deserted hall where the security weapons were old and slow and rusty? No. Better to stay here in the light with the other creatures.
