PERSEPHONE, The High Queen of Darkness VS. HALION ONE, The Electric Enforcer
Ref: u wot hayes Arena: A snowy tundra divided in two sections; one where a few coniferous trees brave the cold - most of these are covered in snow, to a point where they slouch. The other is an ice shelf.

"Persephone, you are to report to the arctic sector at once. Your next fight is scheduled there." The voice of the UCA rang out. That caught both Persephone, and her body guard Minos off guard. The Elite Guard whirled, bringing all four arms outin a threatening display toward the loud speaker that had issued out the command.
"Calm down, Minos." Persephone said as she placed her hand on Minos's shoulder, prompting the being to loosen up. "I can handle this one myself. After all, few people mess with the Queen of Hell and live to fight another day." She said, as she wisked away in a bright light.
Minos stood there, eyes behind the mask narrowed, before she moved toward the nearest monitor. She truly did desire to see her master out in the field...and if things went south, well, that was why she was there...
______________
Persephone arrived, fully draped in armor and at her monstrous size, on the ice shelf part of the arena. She could feel it, water barely a hundred meters beneath her. The frigid cold and the blizzard that blew around her were just what she wanted. She was always a person of the cold... and it didn't bother her one bit...
"Now... she shall be my victim this time?" Persephone said, still smarting from her earlier defeat...

As Persephone pondered about her opponent – perhaps, deep down, hoping it would not be one of those cursed bears – and scanned the frozen wasteland, something caught her eye. What seemed to be a star at first turned out to be something else entirely. The blue comet slowed down as it approached, before it began to descend. The frantic electric bolts sparking all over its form started to reveal a gigantic machine; one that vaguely resembled a humongous, muscular anteater. Lightning dying down and ion jets powering down, Halion One’s feet crashed in the snow with a muffled sound. The High Queen of Hell raised an eyebrow, and then smirked smugly. Whatever this thing was, it would regret facing her.
The six emerald optics of the machine, known as “Baohu” in the tongue of his creators, scanned his foe and the area around him. His first pair of eyes was analyzing the actual opponent. He recognized her as the High Queen of Hell and was given an idea of her powers and capabilities by his research. The other eyes were observing the tundra, looking for possible weapons and evaluating the conditions. The sun was setting at the horizon, painting the skies pink above it. Soon, the dark would fall, but it would have no effect on the robot, beyond his dark blue coloring helping him blend.
A low electronic hum came from the machine’s body. His fingers bent to test their mobility in the cold, as he stood ready for combat.

With that announcement, Persephone went forth to war, as did Halion. The machine brought out its mace as Persephone did the same with her ice hammer. As the frigid cold wrapped around them, they swung at one another, at full force...
Halion was the stronger of the two, and as he bashed back Persephone's hammer, electricity raced down her hammer and zapped her, nearly causing her to loose her grip. She staggered back, surprised. Now that she thought of it, the machine looked an awful lot similar to the bear from before... Just her luck. Probably from the same place. She groaned as Halion came in for another blow. at the last moment, she leapt to the side, and smashed the ice hammer into the side of Halion's face. The blow staggered the machine, denting the metal there and forcing him back now. She was quick to take the advantage, and swung down, this time upon the side of the machine. Once more metal was dented, and Halion was thrown onto his side. She smirked. Raw power wasn't everything, after all... there was also cunning, which she knew any machine lacked.
Her thought process was cut short as she was engulfed in an explosion. She was thrown back, her own armor dented and cracked, and blood forming on the edge of her mouth. Damn... she had let it fire one of those shoulder cannons at her, and paid the price. She landed on her feet, but shakily at that.
It would PAY for that.
As Halion prepared the other canon, the ice around Halion rose up like a sheer wall, and bent forward, blocking the canons line of fire. The resulting explosion shattered the ice wall, but Halion stumbled back, a victim of his own attack. Ready to seize the advantage, Persephone brought one hand forward, then crushed it, conjuring forth a spiked wall of ice on either side, preparing to smash the machine between them...

The two blocks of ice closed down on Halion, the twin colossal forms shattering with a crash of breaking ice. The impact had flung heavy blocks of ice that fell on him like a hail, the heaviest of these blocks denting the tops of his armor, while others slid down the slopes his plates formed. The Electric Enforcer shook the snow off his head and shoulders, as he retrieved Ixion from its compartment on his back. Holding the handle in his left hand, the other arm grabbed the electric chain and began to spin the weapon. The mechanical warrior slowly advanced and Ixion became a bright blur. A loud hum of electricity could be heard as bolts flickered across it.
The flashes blinded Persephone, before the weapon crashed into her with an incredible speed!
Persephone was winded as the impact with Ixion in her midsection folded her and threw her off her feet. She was folded to a point where her forehead bashed against the flail! She was brought along for a 120° spin, after which she finally touched the ground again. Ixion’s spikes were hooked in her chest where they managed to pierce in a crack in her armor, or created one themselves. The collision had made dents in her armor, and drove cracked plates into her body. The initial impact had delivered a shockwave across the High Queen’s body, rattling her innards while Ixion’s electricity surged. The lightning bolts dispersed throughout her body, shocking her skin and insides, as well as weakening her armor. Her muscles locked up, preventing her from removing herself from the electric flail as she twitched spasmodically.
Finally, it was Halion who tore Ixion free from its gory cage. Sheathing the flail in his back as the smoke of boiled blood rose from it, the Baohu stepped forward, his slow strides causing the snow at his feet to bounce up. Persephone got on her feet as quickly as she could. While the robot was slow, she still preferred to stay away from him – she was smart enough to figure that his vicious claws and fangs meant he was a decent melee fighter. However, as she was putting an increasing distance between her and the war machine, Halion’s tongue burst out of his fanged maw! It latched around her neck, causing her distancing to stop. The blue machine tugged her towards him, as he stabbed his foot claws in the ice to anchor himself firmly. His claws sank slightly in his fingers to allow him to form a fist, before his forearm shot off like a rocket!
With three times the power of his normal punches, which themselves had considerable force behind them, Halion hit her lower back!
The High Queen of Hell howled as she felt a pain similar to the one she was inflicted during the Tag Team’s contender match. It was a screaming, intense pain that radiated in her body. The force of the blow dented her armor inwards slightly, creating a bump that nudged her back. Her feet were lifted off the ground and in the air, and One released his tongue from around her neck to leave her fall down. Thankfully, the soft snow cushioned her fall, and the impact on the ground did not flare up her pain all that much. It did, however, caused the nudge made by bent armor in her back to scrape, harmlessly, but annoyingly. Having felt this pain before, she knew it would calm down soon.
While she was distracted with getting herself back on her feet, Halion retrieved the handles of his flaming whips. He was aware that his target had a certain resistance to heat – what he wanted to know what just how resistant she was. His slow strides brought him close enough to her so that he could attack with his fiery whips. The weapons struck in an X-shape; one whip sweeping her knee, and the other nailing her elbow. The Queen merely snorted at the vain attempt of harming her with heat, as her armor protected her against the hits. Having gotten what he wanted, Halion one decided to use his whips on another target – the hellish woman’s neck. The fiery weapons, like flaming snakes, coiled around her neck, creating a necklace of burnt flesh around her neck. Almost immediately, she froze her neck over, extinguishing the flaming whips’ coils and soothing her burning pain a little. Her blood could be seen flowing down along the water.
Replacing his whips’ handles against his thighs, Halion One’s maw parted. Perhaps a hotter type of energy would be able to melt the armor. His mouth unleashed a green ion beam, aiming for Persephone’s wounded chest…

The beam would have hit its intended target... had Persephone not decided to twist to the side at the last moment, the ion beam flying off into the distance harmlessly. That was close... but this machine was definitely a pain. She ignored her blood dripping on the ground. Atleast she could use it to her advantage.
As Halion prepared another beam, the very frozen landscape was awoken to her call. A large slab of ice smashed itself into Halion's legs, denting through the metal there and causing the metal titan to collapse, the beam flying off. This time, however, it hit Persephone before she could get out of the way, and the queen grunted as it impacted her stomach armor. She could feel the heat radiating from there, and she didn't like how strong it was, for she was once again on her back. keeping her growling to herself, she rose back up onto her feet, as Halion was doing so as well. "I don't think so, robot" Persephone hissed as she raised her hand forward. Ice began to form around it, encasing the left hand and turning it into a sort of blaster or cannon. She aimed the Frozen Canon at the machine and fired, a bolt of frozen energy discharging from the icy weapon and impacting Halion's chest.
The robot was carried off his feet as it detonated, the dented part of the armor being blasted apart somewhat and frozen over. He sprawled to the ground, circuitry and wires now exposed in several small holes where the blast had detonated. "You know, someone once told me I didn't have a soul." Persephone purred as she aimed the weapon again, this time at Halion's head. "I guess they are right in a sense... I have no mercy"
Halion struck before she could fire, swinging one arm into hers , pushing the weapon away so that it fired into the ground beside him. As he tried to deliver a punch to Persephone's midsection, the Queen delivered a kick straight into his face, pushing the machine back down into the snow. This time, she was quick to re-aim the canon and fire it at the weakened spot in Halion's chest...

The sub-zero blast caught Halion One in his weakened chest, the blue plates cracking and chipping off like a damaged ancient stone. The gladiator of shocks stepped forward, the thunderous thuds of his clawed paws muffled by the snow. They could soon be heard in full again when he stepped on the ice shelf section of the area, his massive weight cracking the ice below. The shelf was a few hundreds of meters thick, and so he would not fall in the water underneath by simply stepping on it. Compartments on his back opened and released six, emerald-covered globs. The robot held them in his paws, before he threw them in the snow in front of Persephone. The demon merely raised an eyebrow. What were these little blobs supposed to do to her? She prepared to crush them with her hammer, as the green goo began to crawl towards her, lured by the heat her armor had previously endured. As she came close enough, the blobs climbed on her legs; two of them were designated the back of her knees as targets, while the others latched themselves on her midsection. A stray one climbed on her elbow, and contact with the goo that had flowed between the cracks of her armor made her feel sore. Halion ceased his slow advance, as his eyes flashed an emerald green. Six ion beams were released from his eyes...
... And they fired directly in the center of the little blobs!
The High Queen’s form disappeared under a burst of explosions and splatters of goo. Though they should have been thrown to the ground, the splatters were brought back by the heat caused by the ion beams, which Halion kept on even after the detonations. With the force of the explosions, heat generated and acidic properties, the grenades destroyed pieces of Persephone’s armor, as she staggered back and fell in the snow. Chunks of warped and broken armor fell, as though it was a payback from Halion for her causing his chest armor to fall apart. The ion beams had pierced right through her body, like drills of energy. They melted flesh and muscle, and some dug deep enough to hit bones on their way, though they merely melted off a small chip off them. The force of the detonations had forced broken pieces of armor further into her body, causing bubbling blood to spill out. The splatters were dissolving her where they landed. The bombs on her knees had damaged her connective tissues, just like the grenade that was on her elbow.
Halion lifted his arm over his shoulder, pointing his elbow spike towards Persephone while she was attempting to rise. A leash of energy grabbed a portion of the armor protecting her back and a chunk of her own flesh. She could feel the weight of the armor and her back lighten, but soon an entirely different feeling took over her. There was a series of metallic barks and a sound of tissues ripping as the Gravity Gun ripped its captive off, creating a fountain of gore! The hell queen's spine was exposed as Halion threw the chunk of flesh and armor aside, the macabre object staining the snow and ice red with blood.
As his target expressed her pain with a cry of pain, One lowered his arm. His clawed fingers pointed towards Persephone, as he began to redirect the electricity in his circuits. Four bolts launched from his fingers and struck her elbows and knees like jagged, flashing electric spears. The initial contact with the arcs lowered the integrity of her armor – its weakness to electricity had not gone unnoticed by the alien war machine. He kept the lightning on, causing the armor protecting her joints to shatter and allowing the bolts to shock her flesh and disperse along her arms and legs, which in turn lowered the protection given by these plates!
His mechanical brain picking up a series of curses – something about bears and anteaters – Halion One grabbed his laser katana and threw it like a shuriken, aiming to slash his target in the back...

Persephone growled as the katana sliced through her back> Thankfully, it failed to hit her exposed spine, but rather, it hit her side, slicing through the now exposed flesh there. She gritted her teeth. This sort of damage was getting way too old, too fast. Her anger was beginning to rise, especially since so soon into the fight, her armor was already rendered near worthless and her clothes being wrecked. Memories of the Archipelago match against Arc and Talizan came back to mind, and the humiliation that came with that outcome. No... no no no no no!
As Halion moved in for the kill, Persephone whirled around, her arm cannon reforming into her usual ice hammer. The machine was greeted with a devastating uppercut, metal cracking and denting as it stumbled back, not having anticipated the blow. This gave Persephone just enough time to retaliate, and in force. Aiming her hammer head forward, frozen energy gathered in the tip of it, before she fired it at the recovering machine. The beam laced through the exposed chest of the machine, ripping through circuits and metal as Halion was floored onto his back.
"Much better." Persephone growled as she took several deep breaths. Damn... that hurt. No doubt Minos was flipping out over how this was going already... what a poor thing to think about. She'd have to level the playing field in that case. The ice hammer melted away, and Persephone raised up a hand. Suddenly, a giant wall of ice rose up beside Halion and curled around, forming into a giant fist. She lowered the hand, and the massive icy hand smashed down into Halion. So hard, infact, that the machine was smashed right through the ice shelf, and into the frigid water below... That was what Halion got for being on a thinner section of ice...

The Electric Enforcer’s weight was working against him. The cold waters of the arctic claimed him, and he was immediately on alert and thinking of a way out. The freezing liquid was causing his temperature to cool down, and he had to escape before the water reached something vital. His exposed circuits spat bolts like venomous snakes, and flashes could be seen in the dark waters. Legs paddling to bring him in an upright position, Halion activated his ion jets. His large claws grabbed the sides of the hole he fell in and he pushed himself out. Flying out of the water like a blue cannonball, the wet robot landed in a safer area.
The Colossian machine turned around, tongue bursting out of his mouth when Persephone came to charge him with her hammer. Anchoring his claws firmly in the ice, Halion delivered a firm mechanical fist to his opponent’s arms. The hit was followed by others, and the machine’s cybernetic strength was paying its number on her armor. The strong, repeated hits finally cracked the plating as Halion wanted. Though the armor absorbed most of the hits, the powerful impacts were felt by her arms, causing bruises to appear.
Without leaving his target time to recover, Halion One curled his silver-colored tongue back in his maw, before he bit down directly on Persephone’s helmet!
The numerous mechanical fangs crunched into the skull, constricting it painfully around her head. One of these large teeth found its way into the orbit of the skull helmet, driving itself into the demon queen’s eyebrow. Had the robot not bitten at an angle, it would have been sent directly in her eye!
As he bit down, Halion’s claws pried off pieces of the armor he had cracked earlier, and Persephone – temporarily blinded by blood seeping in her eyes – answered by shoving the robot off with a blast of ice that dented his underbelly’s plating. It also resulted, unfortunately, in his claws to carve through her shoulders on their way out and leave the war machine holding the pieces he was trying to remove. His teeth slid free, if only because the helmet merely gave way instead of being forced off the High Queen’s head. Keeping the chunks of armor in his hands, Halion fired both of his forearms forward, aiming to use the broken protection like knives...

To think that her current situation would already be like this... how disgraceful for the High Queen. Certainly, she had expected better from herself in this match. This machine... this warrior, were it allied on her side, perhaps it would be a most great asset, certainly more useful than many of her current soldiers...
But as it was, she would have to dismantle it, piece by piece, for ruining her armor.
Though she still had blood in her eyes, she acted on instinct. She swerved, barely dodging the arms and the broken armor shards, while bringing her frozen hammer into play, blinking away the blood. She cursed forward, and brought the deadly weapon in as an uppercut right at the surprised Halion's chin. The resulting blow staggered the machine back, the force driving its lower jaw into its head, sending mechanical teeth flying out from the impact. This Halion would not allow, as he once more swung his arms at Persephone. She managed to sidestep one, but the other hit square in the stomach, and nearly bowled her over, the shards embedded in what armor was still there, though her stomach itself was bruised from the hit.She stepped back, as if truly wounded by the injury. As expected, Halion moved in for the kill...
Persephone smirked. Just as she had hoped.
With that one step forward, the ice beneath Halion's feet caved in, and the machine found himself tumbling head over heels as Persephone worked her magic on the ice, letting Halion tumble into a large cavern beneath the frozen surface. She leapt down after him, and announced her presence back to the recovering mecha with a hammer strike to the top of the head.
This had two effects. The first was that the blow was so powerful, the ice head shattered, much to Persephone's own surprise. And secondly, metal dented and circuits were exposed as Halion crumpled to the floor, the blow akin to someone getting a little too much brain damage. Alas, Persephone knew that the machine would recover quickly from that, especially since she wasn't going to give it any chances. After being sure to give Halion a quick kick to the neck, she lept out of the cavern, and snapped her fingers. The cavern began to collapse in on Halion, threatening to bury the machine under a hundred thousand tons of ice...

Halion was in a bad spot, but he was crafty. He had never been destroyed, and today was not the day he would be. He powered his jets to push himself out of the way of the falling ice. Some of the chunks crashed against the Baohu's shoulder armor, but they did minimal damage, if at all. It was a risk he had to take to leave the cave. As he escaped the falling cavern, he fired his meteor cannons. A legion of red bombs homed in on Persephone, who was unable to defend herself as she was pelted with the attack. Armor and blood could be seen flying when 32 projectiles burst against her. Raising his wrinkled fists as his feet crashed on the ice, Halion fired his Railway Spike Guns in her wounds. The spiked bullets drilled through Persephone's flesh, digging like a hot knife through butter with their tips heated, which boiled her blood and scorched her flesh. The demon queen answered by slamming her hammer against Halion's face, after which the war machine's fingers began to twirl. Arcs of electricity danced across his burly, clawed fingers, and Persephone soon found herself encased in a sphere of electricity. The bolts fried her body and shattered pieces of her armor - the areas that did not crumble of it weakened due to the electricity. With his foe's muscles locked in place by the volts charged through her body, Halion intensified the lightning...

It was like a neverending surge. Persephone's body twitched and spasm'd about as the lightning wrecked havok upon her. Parts of her flesh boiled, her blood popped, and her eyes felt as though they were being cooked into overeasy eggs. Every fiber of her body was in a world of pain and turmoil... and yet, despite what Halion could see, she was not completely at his mercy...
A fact that became all too apparent as he was forced forward by a surprise blow from behind. The armor crumpled and cracked as a solid pillar of ice smashed into it with terrifying force, causing the machine to fall flat on its face. This cut off the electrical storm, and Persephone could finally move. Her skin, already dark, was charred now, and her hair stood up in a giant puffy afro with smoke sizzling off of her, a fact she only realized by glaring down at the ice beneath her. Her eyes widened in blood-shot rage and fury. "This... is NOT my preferred hairstyle!" She spat as she unleashed her fury upon the recovering mecha. Halion's hand reached up, and caught the ice hammer Persy was using in mid-swing, only to recieve a blast of frigid cold energy through it, sending the machine sliding back across the ice. Most of his armor was chilled over, and even threatening to freeze at this point, a point that made Persephone grin madly. With her hammer back in her possession, Persephone aimed it forward.
Halion rose, just in time for a cube of to form around him. A second, larger cube formed just as the first began to glow... and then explode violently. all the energy was rebounded back and contained by the second cube, allowing for maximal damage. Finally, the second cube dissipated, and as the smoke cloud cleared, Persephone aimed her hammer forward, and a bolt of frigid cold energy flew out right for the machine within...

The only answer Persephone received from the smoke was not the one she had wanted. Instead, the smoke dissipated to reveal an empty snowbank. A faint buzzing noise could be heard, and the demon glanced up to see Halion plummeting from the air like a metallic hammer! Laser katana in hand, he fell heavily on his foe, the bright red blade sliding down in a sweeping movement across Persephone's stomach and arm, unzipping her armor and flesh. Smoldering gashes decorated her as she was crushed under the robot's weight. Squirming, the High Queen managed to raise a leg and kicked Halion with it, but the kick lacked the necessary power to shake him off or even damage him - instead, it caused the robot to grab the extended limb and bite it!
Turning around as he sunk his teeth deeply in his enemy's knee, having broken through the weakened armor and driven the plates in the flesh like a second set of fangs, the war machine shook his head, tossing his prey like a chew toy and ripping more meat! By chance, her arm being swung like a ragdoll caused her to nail the Baohu in the face with her hammer, crooking a lone tooth.
Halion One released Persephone, causing her to bounce on the ice and snow before sliding to a halt, face buried in a snowbank. When she got up, Halion lashed with his flaming whips, striking her unarmored areas to burn her flesh to ashes and boil her blood, the hyperactivity of the boiled blood causing the veins it was in to pop. The blue machine's maw glowed green, preparing to fire an ion beam in Persephone's wounds...
