In the middle of a field of ash and char, a horror waited. She doesn't knows what it is she waited for, or when it might happen, but she still waited, unmoving and unthinking. Sitting on her haunches like a reptilian panther, Drakia has a small patch of burnt grass in her unblinking gaze, as if hypnotised by it. Her eyes are large and feral, permanently set in a frantic state. Besides that and her eternal snarl, she showed no emotion. A square section of soot-covered electronics suddenly burst to life on the opposite side of the room, a bright beam of light stabbing up from it. For several minutes, Drakia doesn't seem to notice it. Then, ever so slowly, her saber-toothed head turned to face the column of energy. Only a short while ago, she would have immediately recognized it for the teleportation pad that had brought her to do battle with other giants. Back then, she was about as clever as they came. But ever since the Great Burning, her memories were faded and fuzzy, her wits dulled some. She still had burst of cunning, but she was little more than savagery in a deformed body now. For a few moments, the great lizard stared at the spear of light, eyes wide and wild, but with little more than that behind them. Then her nostrils flared, sucking in the breeze snaking in from the bright, unnatural light. It was completely different from the dry, smokey air than constantly clogged her snout in her quarters. No, it was... fresh and clean, free of contamination. Fresh air meant freedom, even if it was temporary. Freedom meant battle. Battle meant bloodshed.
And bloodshed meant pain. Sweet, sweet pain.
The pain of another, her pain, it didn't matter to Drakia. Pain was her escape, a way to flee the emptiness that plagued her mind and soul. She relished it, she lived for it. And she would let nothing get in her way of it. With a sudden spring of her muscular hind legs, the lean beast threw herself into the pillar of light with a horse howl.
There's an intense flash, many times brighter than the artificial sunlight that bathed her prison.
Although the harsh light bit deeply into Drakia's eyes, sending agony deep into the socket, she didn't blink. Instead, she actually stretched her eyes even wider, if that was possible. Pain. For a moment, it reminded her that was she real. Her chest began heaving, her breath ragged and greedy, and her tongue slithered from her lack jaws. Then it was gone. And she wasn't real anymore. Nothing was. Frame sinking into eerie stillness again, Drakia slowly scanned her surrounding with those piercing eyes of hers, thin slits in angry pools of yellow. She was in a forest. But not the kind of forest she once dwelled in. Instead of lush greens and earthy browns, it was a forest of grey, hard and uninviting. In the back of her jumbled mind, Drakia recognized it- a city. One of those places where the tiny primates that had so often annoyed her back on Earth lived in countless masses. A quick sniff confirmed that there aren't any of the tiny creatures here though. Shame. Their pain would be delicious.
Moving with slow steps and long strides, Drakia crept towards a broad building. She knew another monster will be here soon, another victim of life to share the joys of pain with. Leaping upon the building, the lean giant sprawled herself across its roof. Surprisingly, the building stood strong, fully supporting her weight. Head sinking between her gnarled claws, Drakia set her gaze on a road beneath her muzzle and waited.
Just as she always does when no merciful pain if there to comfort her.

splayed out on her sandy beach, Vastrato had done nothing for weeks and weeks but lay there and get fat. She was just fine with that. Never was she all that energetic to begin with. At least not without one good reason. When her teleporter pad sprung to life, her head slowly lifted. Seemed like her vacation was over. If she could talk, she would probably tell the UCA to fuck off and let her sleep. But she knew what defying the UCA meant. Dragging herself up, she walked over and onto the pod.
Next thing she knew, she was on the solid concrete floor of the city... Again. A snort of frustration exhibited the displeasure of that. She was getting tired of the concrete jungle. Some sand, dirty.. water. Bloody hell, a swamp would be lovely.
Not yet had she noticed the chard smell of flesh of her foe how was high above...

Vastrato's scent quickly drifted up to Drakia's perch, alerting the charred beast that her opponent was here. Silently rising to her feet and slinking to the edge of the building she sat upon, the great lizard stared down at the crocodile with a gaze that radiated hunger and want. She needed to make this thing bleed, to feel pain. Her skeletal tail flicked with excitement, and Drakia pulled her long hind legs directly beneath her haunches, pressing them tightly against her body like organic springs. The front half of her body sunk down to kiss the concrete roof, her should blades stabbing up at the sky as they bunched up in anticipation. She was the perfect image of a predator about to strike, a reptilian version of a leopard or lion on the prowl, infinitely larger of course. This was her element, her true calling- the hunt! The creeping thrill of stalking something, and then the sheer joy of completing the kill with the claws and jaws gifted to her by birth. Slits shrinking even tinier as her vision narrowed to just her prey and the path to it, Drakia let her body uncoil, a snap of tight muscles that sent her sailing down in a great leap, pale ash trailing from her form like a comet tail. Dropping down upon the unsuspecting Vastrato without a sound, the burnt giant stretched out her hooked talons, aiming to anchor them in the other reptile's back. Then, she would be free to drain the life from the big brute at her own leisure. Eyes dancing with dark delight, Drakia closed in, the distance between her and her future victim devoured by her graceful descent as she prepared to collide with her so-called 'foe', only a matter of seconds now.
Then she bounced.
Letting her jaws drop in utter shock, Drakia could only manage a strangled whine as she bounced off Vastrato's broad back, like a child would off a trampoline. To her credit though, the lean hunter quickly recovered, twisting about in midair to land on all fours. As Drakia stared at her fellow giant in confusion, Vastrato swung her head around with a deep grumbled, really more annoyed than angry. What with this? Had this skinny scrap of a monster really just tried to jump her? Grumbling again, the crocodilian titan slowly turned the rest of her vast girth around, treating the whole thing like a great bother. One of Drakia's feral eyes twitched madly. First, this stupid beast bounces her off its damn back. And now, it was acting like she was a pest that it simply had to deal with. The Ash Queen's wild eyes shot back and forth for a second, rage bubbling up behind them, then Drakia lunged forward with a furious yowl.
Before Vastrato can react, Drakia snapped her skeletal tail forward with a sharp crack. The bleach white whip of bone, completely devoid of flesh or skin, shot forth at blinding speed, unable to be tracked by practically any eye. No sooner than the crack reaches Vastrato's ears, the tail's dagger-like tip was buried deep in her calf. White hot pain exploded into the crocodile's leg, and with a rumbling cry, she collapsed to a kneel. Springing forward like black lightning, a mere blur of black flesh and grey ash, Drakia bounded straight at the pained beast, twirling around an angry swipe from her claws and leaping upon her back. Getting a good grip on her foe- which was exceedingly hard considering her rubbery hide- the lithe predator lashed out with her saber teeth. Biting into Vastrato's neck, Drakia struggled to punch her fangs through the reptile's elastic scales. Growling fiercely, Vastrato thrashed around, trying to dislodge her assailant. Still unable to pierce the crocodile's strangely flexible skin, Drakia loosed a muffled howl of frustration into tough flesh. This was ridiculous!
Suddenly, there was a wet pop.
Drakia's blade-like fangs slid easily into Vastrato's neck, and the crocodile went berserk. Jumping to her feet and flailing like a crazed creature, the reptile screamed in agony. Still clinging to Vastrato's back, Drakia purred as hot blood flooded into her open jaws. But when one final lurch, Vastrato managed to smash the lizard into the side of the very building she had ambushed her from. Crushed between the towering structure and a fuming beast many times stronger than she was, Drakia had little choice but to slump from her foe's back, falling back into the building as some of it crumbled down around her. Wheeling around to face Drakia, Vastrato bellowed at the lizard, then made to snap at her with her powerful jaws. But Drakia was quicker. Claws flashing out, the twisted beast tore three bloody furrows into the crocodile's muzzle. Hissing and clasping her claws around her bleeding snout, Vastrato stumbled away. Kicking off the damaged building and howling for more sweet pain, Drakia aimed another slash of her wicked talons for her foe's exposed throat...

Three claws smashed across Vastrato's neck. A mist of blood fallowed, three cuts going across her neck and throat area.
Well one thing was for certain. Vastrato was going to have to show no mercy in this fight, against this foe. Down to it... it was almost like fighting Hera all over again.
Drakia was about to follow up with her teeth, but Vastrato brought her claw up like a beat batting a salmon right out of the air and sent the chard beast hurtling back and into another building. The impact made it quiver for it was not going down... yet.
Pulling her body around, Vastrato's tail came flying like a oversize whip that was not only pulling much energy around to probably shatter bones, but also stretching out to cover more ground! Drakia's eye widened as big as they could get, and she ducked low! The tail instead went over her head, crashing through everything else from concrete buildings, to a metal crane. All of it was torn in half by the impact in one massive sweep.
The sailed lizard wasted no time in running down the massive street and around the corner to set up another ambush. The crocodile regained her composer after pulling her tail back to its general normal length. Her eyes scanned for her enemy, but she saw nothing but more grey stone of this human-like landscape. But there was an old saying she could remember, ironically about crocodiles like herself: Its the crocodile you don't see that you have to worry about.
Cautiously she crept forward and kept her senses wide open.
But Drakia was already attacking. Hoping from skyscraper to skyscraper, she was going to try another aerial move. This time instead of landing right on her, she was going to attempt to use the momentum and gravity to let her claws rip her preys stomach open. If the creature was to busy trying to keep its guts in its body, then it can't pay attention to her either. Sweet, delicious and scrumptious to her taste of cruelty.
But Vastrato wasn't as absent minded. A reflection off a tiny window gave the feline lizard away. Common sense kicked in, and she attacked before even giving Drakia a chance to attack. She raised her head, then quickly lowered it into a 360-degree turn. For the second time today she raised her tail and swung it into the tower that currently held her enemy and completely severed the structure from its support! Drakia felt the tremor, then the tilt, making her jump to a slightly smaller skyscraper. But Vastrato repeated her move and smashed the base of that one as well! This time Drakia dove down into the sea of smaller buildings.
Even as both monoliths towered, the crocodile began chasing the lizard down. She was intended on not allowing that creature out of her sight for the sake of not being ambushed again. However Drakia was smaller and quicker, quickly gaining distance between her and Vastrato. The cloud of ash behind her sure did not help, and again she lost sight of the blackened monster.
Not for long...
Drakia didn't plan another attack. Instead she did a complete circle, going around block of buildings and right behind Vastrato. She wasted no time and jumped right on the crocodiles back. Her fangs found leverage on the shoulders and her claws dug in. Now it was a game of bull-riding. Vastrtato kicked and thrashed like a wild mustang at a rodeo with her unwelcome passenger stubbornly clinging like a leech.
But Vastrato was not without fault. Rearing up, she tilted back and aimed to land on her back and try to smash Drakia right down into the unforgiving concrete street!

Even as the titanic beast threw herself back, her enormous mass lifting up and off the ground, Drakia made no move to remove herself from Vastrato's back. She was far to occupied shedding blood and relishing suffering to bother with anything of the sort. As the charred predator yowled in sadistic glee, her shrill cry was suddenly cut off as many thousands tons of angry crocodile pancaked her into the street, the asphalt cratering under the weight of two giants, gray ash exploding in every direction. Crushed completely, Drakia wheezed loudly, maw agape and leeking blood slowly. Vastrato would have been more than happy to sit there and let her vicious foe suffocate. But the muffled sound of something sizzling and the sweet smell of cooked flesh put a stop to that plan. Leaping up with a howl of agony, Vastrato frantically pawed at several nasty blisters across her hide, where the coals imbedded in Drakia's burnt flesh had burned into her. Springing to her feet with a slavering hiss, Drakia darted away in a flash of blackened skin and pale bone.
Quickly scaling the side of a towering skyscraper, the sailed lizard snarled to herself as thoughts of new ways to hurt the brute formed in her twisted mind. Lost in dark images and ideas, she was nearly yanked off the great building by a sharp tug from below. Drakia's head whipled back so fast it was a wonde her neck didn't snap. Vastrato eyed the lean terror with unhorse contempt, the end of Draka's skeletal tail in her mighty jaws. The lizard tried to pull away, jerking about madly, but she only received a harder tug in return for her efforts each time. Then, somehow managing to wriggle through the insanity and bloodlust that clouded the killer's mind, a bit of her old cunning entered Drakia's eyes. With a low, mocking purr, the lithe predator unhooked her claws from the building and simply fell.
Vastrato was knocked flat on her ass as the lizard smashed into her, ragged fins spearing ino the crocodile's body.
Vastrato bellowed in pain, a hollow cry that Drakia answered with a bloodthirsty scream. The feline reptile's razor-sharp spines had punched into the rubbery beast's chest and shoulder, stabbing straight through the elastic skin and deep into vulnerable tissue. With a flick of her tail, Drakia rolled from Vastrato, spines sliding free from their bloody shethes with little arcs of crimson. By now, a great deal of ash had fallen fom the lizard's crisp hide, forming a thick cloud of it that clung low to the ground. Tongue lolling from her sneering jaws, Drakia took a deep breath, narrow chest swelling, and then gave a great exhale. The powerful gust of air kicked up the ash, billowing it right into Vastrato's face. Blinding by the ash, the crocodile struggled to her feet, stumbled about cluelessly and rubbing her eyes. She cried out when a bony whip cracked across her back, laying a good portion of it open. Vastrato could feel the wetness and warmth of the blood spilling from the long, ugly gash. As she moaned, cursing the ash stinging in her eyes, an eerie whistle reached her ears. It was the sound of Drakia's skeletal tail, cutting through the air to hack into her back again...

The tail slashed, cutting another long line of red through the crocodiles back. Another groan of pain came from her. Instinctively she swung around and lashed out with her claws. Nothing.
Drakia chirped and cackled like a frisky cat. Her lust for causing her to make a bit too much noise. Vastrato kept coming at her, lashing out with swipes of her claws, but Drakia kept ahead. Now she was right down to taunting the crocodile, wheezing out small cackles and barks that can only be assumed as name calling.
Vastrato fallowed of course. Her eyes were still blurred and irritated. What she needed was water, but in this jungle of concrete? She would need to be resourceful. Amongst the annoying laughs of the lizard, she listened carefully. Below the streets were pipes, pumping fresh water to where ever it needed to go. Raising up again, Vastrato crashed down and dug her claws into the concrete surface. The man-made rock shattered and she began to pulling up the earth itself.
Already distracted to begin with, Drakia came in to finish this. With her head in the ground, her jaws found perfect leverage on the strong back leg of the crocodile. Her teeth found it slightly difficult to draw blood, but she did in the end. Vastrato pulled her head out of the earth in pain... but with also a mesh of iron pipes in her jaws! Geysers of water erupted all around, dousing her broad head in H2O. Soon the world became clear as she regained her sight.
Now it was time to take care of this rabid dog tearing at her leg. Flexibility divine, her neck turned, bent and her jaws came down on the neck and head of the lizard. Drakia released her hold in a panic, just as she was slung around and smashed into a building.
Vastrato wasted no time in rearing up and coming down, intending on bringing her weight down through her arms to smash the demented beast..

(Sorry for the delay, been busy.)
Throwing rubble off her body with a swift shake, Drakia hissed in glee. This was what she lived for! Battle! Blood! Pain! As Vastrato swung her great claws down to lay the lizard open, Drakia lashed out with a powerful hind leg. The brutal kick punched into the crocodile's gut, her elastic skin immediately stretched out to maximum tension. Hacking up saliva and blood, the rubbery-hided beast was snapped back by her own elastic qualities. Jaw yawning and tongue sliding out, Drakia howled with excitement and pounced. Lunging like a striking big cat, the lithe predator slammed her muscular jaws shut on Vastrato's forearm. A piercing wail rose up, bouncing between building as blunt teeth tore at tough scales. Hurled about by the crcodile's wild thrashing, Drakia simply stayed limp, serpentine tail writhing in frezied pleasure. Delicious blood flowing over her tongue in thick waves, the sadistic reptile purred into shredded flesh and gore.
Suddenly, a massive blow landed sqaure atop the black terror's skull!
Drakia's maw stretched open, and a hot breath of agony escaped the stunned killer. The burnt giant slid from her foe, body landing in a heap. Bringing her bloodied claws up off the lizard's brow, Vastrato bellowed her fury. With a quick thrust of her foot, the crocodilian titan kicked Drakia away, snorting loudly. Drakia skidded away, bouncing roughly down the broad street. With a second air-shaking roar, Vastrato followed. The entire city shuddered under thunderous footfall as the vast reptile charged her downed foe.
Wild yellow eyes opened, revealing a lethal gleam of evil in them.
Spring up and closing the distance in a single second, Drakia hacked at a shocked Vastrato with her saber teeth. The blade-like fangs sliced open a thigh, parting the durable hide with little trouble. At the crcodile dropped to her knees with a scream, Drakia reared to her full height. Mass balanced on her great back legs, the lizard stretched her claws out, talons aimed to rake across Vastrato's face and neck...

The claws dug deep, making Vastrato recoil in pain. One claw mark went over her eye, giving her a almost villainous gaze. Thankfully and luckily her eye was not blinded from the sharp claws.
Now it was her turn! Just as the claws came down on her, she lunged forward with her jaws opened wide! Drakia had almost no time to react and turned to run, but failed as teeth plunged deeply into her back leg. As Vastrato pulled back, Drakia turned and began viciously clawing at the crocodiles snout. It did not detour her at first. She even dragged the burnt lizard around in a circle before letting go. As soon as she released, Drakia got to her feet and was already bounding off.
Vastrato was left with a clawed up front muzzle, on the front part. It stung, but it also pissed her off. It was time to stop playing around. Digging her claws into the concrete and relaxing, her gut began expanding like a balloon. The wind picked up as the expanding space in her stomach demanded to be filled with air. Suction began to pull at empty air around her with such magnitude that small things such as cars, trees, and other miscellaneous items were being pulled into her stomach. Drakia had herself anchored behind a block of buildings. Even here she could feel the power of the winds. Slowly she peeked her head out to see where he enemy was. Vastrato was becoming bloated, her legs lifting off the ground as her once sleek crocodile body was now becoming like a blimp full of iar.
A blimp she could pop.
Oh the idea of popping that and watching the guts fly all over made Drakia just chatter like a mad chipmunk. Quickly she turned the corner and ran down at the expanding reptile, using the pulling wind to excel her speed greatly! She was on Vastrato in an instant and lunged with claws and teeth bared! But when she hit the body... it gave in! Like some squishy airbag of a car. Before she knew it, Drakia's force of running into her was sent back on her and sent her flying back and down the street.
Vastrato had kept growing too. Soon she was several times her own size... sort of. She was almost all air. Now it was time to let it all out. She opened her mouth and aimed it all at Drakia!

A tempest of vast size and strength tore from Vastrato's gullet, like the breath of the Devil himself. Drakia yowled in alarm, dropping to her stomach and digging her claws into the street. With a sharp exhale, she flattened herself out as much as possible and folded her spines down across her thin back. In a brief moment of clarity, she was thankful that the majority of the webbing that once stretched across her spines were burned away, little more than charred scraps now. If they were intact, she would have been ripped from the ground and launched into the sky before even attempting to furl them. And even without the added surface mass, the fierce winds ripped and grabbed at her form unrelentingly. She was slim and relatively light for a kaiju, anchored to the solid concrete, and was squeezed as small as she could go, yet she was still struggling to keep grounded. In the end, it was a struggle she simply couldn't win.
With a strangled scream, Drakia was ripped up and off the ground!
Spinning and tumbling through the air wildly, the black horror has catapulted into the air. Her flight was a short one however, because she soon smashed into a tall building, snapping it in half. Dust and debris billowing up in a small mushroom cloud, the Ash Queen was buried in an instant. As the last of her monster-made hurricane left her maw, Vastrato's eyes glowed with satisfaction. Straightening up and letting out a thunderous roar, the crocodile charged forward. If there was one thing she had learned so far, it was not to give Drakia time to recover and bound off somewhere. The lizard was fast and agile, but she was overwhelming more powerful. Up close and personal, the twisted beast wouldn't have a chance. Closing in on the hanging cloud of dust, Vastrato bellowed again.
That mighty cry became a pained yelp when a skeletal tail flashed out from the dust, slashing open the reptile's chest!
Stumbling back, lacerated breast spurting out her hot crimson life essence, the crocodile funneled her agony through her monstrous mug, a miserable howl rising to the heavens. But the long, rolling call was cut off with a wet gurgle as Drakia herself shot from the falling cloud of debris, trailing ash and blood like some vicious demon, and slammed her skull into Vastrato's exposed throat. As the elastic beast toppled with a murmur, Drakia pounced atop her with a loud hiss of victory. Hugging to the fallen giant, Drakia licked her sneering lips. Vastrato suddenly began thrashing and kicking, screaming bloody murder and snarling at the killer upon her chest. The coals in Drakia's hide, now burning white hot from the crocodile's own winds, were searing into her flesh like tiny stars! Mouth stretching into what might be called a primitive grin by some, and a plain nasty look by others, Drakia reared her head back, muscular neck curling into an S-shape. Lunging down, the lizard aimed her blade-like fangs at Vastrato's brow and face...

Both of Drakias fangs slammed right on Vastrato's face with a loud crack! Of all the parts on Vastratos body, the broadness of her muzzle was the least elastic and flexible. Her jaw could stretch at the hinge, but her upper and lower maw was solid bone. When those sabres came down, her skull fractured!
Crying out in even more discomfort and pain, Vastrato began thrashing even more desperately. It was only when she rolled over and crushing Drakia under her weight did she find relief. Being smashed for the second time, Drakia shrieked and involuntarily let go. She was quick to get to her feet and look up, to see Vastrato's tail coming down like a massive club! Quickly she leaps to the side just barely avoiding the power that smashed in the concrete street like it was clay dirt!
Just as soon as she slammed her tail, she raised it again with unusually quick movements and slammed down again! Drakia once more jumped away. She was on the defensive now ad several more strikes came down like a sledgehammer, and each time a new pile of ruble from a street or building that was in the way. Drakia was forced to keep moving to avoid the heavy tail. Wam! Wam! She had to get away before the crocodile got lucky. Where did such a big thing find such speed to move her tail like that!?
Soon she found an opening and bolted away in a B-Line for safety of a forest of Skyscrapers. Vastrato gave chase, using her weight to plow through buildings in order to keep up. Just barely able too, she watched as Drakia went up first tower as soon as she could reach it. Not one to give this tainted creature an edge to prepare herself, the she-croc threw her body right into the structure with all the momentum she had. The building quivered and gave way as the monster below tore its foundation away. Drakia drew her legs in and pushed off the toppling tower and onto the next.
Not only did Vastrato follow, she had enough of this crap with the lizard constantly running into high places. She slammed her claws into the building and began to climb! But her weight was a problem. More she climbed, the more the structure gave way. One lightweight monster like Drakia was one thing. A heavier second monster was too much. As soon as it gave, Vastrato feel off. Thankfully she never got that high to begin with and was spared a unpleasant fall to earth.

Feeling her perch teeter below her, Drakia snarled angrily. Stupid crocodile! The great lizard hunched down, shoulders wriggling, and then made an enormous leap, abandoning the building just as it collapsed. Soaring through the air, claws stretched out and grasping, Drakia arced down towards another skyscraper. A sharp hissed escaped the giant. She was going to land just short of the other building! With a howl, the burnt terror kicked out, tail lashing, trying to push herself forward. Her talons caught the roof's edge, dagger tips digging into the concrete. But her mass was just too much, and the edge crumbled away, leaving Drakia nothing to grip at but thin air. With a furious scream, the lithe killer plunged. She landed square in the middle of the street, hips cracking down into the asphalt with a bone-jarring crash. The sadist's head whipped back, a silent cry of agony leaving slack jaws.
But then, as ridiculous as it seems, the lizard bounced, flipping back up like a reptilian spring!
Feet raw and sore from slamming into the street with cratering force and kicking her back into the sky, Drakia yowled like a mad beast, cartwheeling wildly. Whether by intent or accident, the black horror's skeletal tail slashed a long gash down Vastrato's torso, from shoulder to hip, knocking the elastic reptile back with a pained grunt. Kicking off anther building to change her trajectory in an instant, Drakia launched herself at the crocodile's feet. A paw flashing out at blurred speeds, hooked talons stabbed into Vastrato's ankles with frightening force, cracking them together sharply and toppling the mountainous monster. The she-beast collapsed flat on her back with a roar of distress. Landing heavily on all fours, Drakia sank down and ran a slavering tongue across her curled lips. She could practically taste the pain radiating from her foe, only adding to the ecstasy of her own suffering. She was real, so very real. But a simple taste just wasn't enough. She needed more, she needed it all! With a crazed wheeze, the predatory giant pounced.
With duel shrieks- one of bloodlust, one of agony- a pair of saber teeth were driven into Vastrato's already wounded shoulder!
Unsheathing her fangs with two healthy rushes of hot crimson life, Drakia lapped up the blood splattered across her muzzle, eyes dancing with dark glee. Feral orbs twitching and the corner of her mouth jerking sporadically, the insane lizard made another lunge at Vastrato. This time, her chest swelled with air, she aimed to flood the crocodile's lungs with a great breath of ash and grit...

As Drakia spat out a cloud of haze, Vastrato breathed it in. It was dreadful! No animal liked the smell of fire, smoke and burning flesh. It scared nearly any creature... Save for Kaiju, but it was still not enjoyed AT ALL. It didn't help when Drakia slammed into her again. She landed squarely on the crocodile and began throwing a fury of claws down at her face and neck! Several red marks began covering the monsters neck and face, crying out in pain!
Vastrato wasted no time. Quickly she rolled and threw the lizard off. Drakia quickly ran off into the jungle of buildings, quickly disappearing once again. Even though she was covered in cuts, Vastrato was fine.. so to speak. Small wounds really didn't matter to creatures like her. Besides, her hard skin wasn't that deeply cut. No, she was just annoyed that that damn black lizard ran off again. It was one thing fighting a foe. It was another fighting one that kept hiding like coward.
This time around, she was going to make sure that Drakia could not get the upper hand.
She brought her tail around her, stretching it long so it was tense with energy. Then she released it! With thunderous crash, a whole wall of buildings were pulverized into ruble. Metal bent and man-made rock shattered. As soon as she was done with that, she did it again to the other buildings on the opposing side of the street. The idea was if she kept attacking and tearing apart Drakia's shelter, then Drakia couldn't hide. Of course, so much cityscape...
This was not lost on Drakia, though. Her eyes glared at the she-croc, wanting to tear into her with gusto. Yet another glimmer of her craftiness had come back... She was assessing her situation. It's tail was the main weapon... other then the claws and teeth, that tail had great range. Something to avoid... And with her swinging it around with its elasticity, it gave almost no room for her to get near without a whack. Such a tricky beast... She needed to time it just right... There! As soon as Vastrato's tail went by, she lunged out from behind her hiding spot and raced at her.
A sudden strike made Vastrato stumble as two fangs bore into her hip. She grunted in pain and whirled back, jaws opened. Her teeth barley missed, but Drakia was already running off again! Oh no, not this time! Vastrato began to chase as soon as she turned around. Unlike last time, she was keeping up! Her jaws snapped out for the lizards tail, but to no avail...
Drakia soon found stepping stairs int he form of a few tall, stout buildings that reached high into the sky. One, two and three bounds she was high off the ground. Before her, a forest of buildings that stretched for a mile or two. Each building was about 200 meters tall at least. As Drakia began to run across the rooftops, Vastrato followed. She ran straight through the fires building, plowing through it like a wrecking ball and making it collapse behind her. Now she weaved around the maze, eyes up at the fleeing Drakia. As she came up near, she jumped and snapped up at the sky for the lizard! Miss~ but she kept chasing! She was going to snatch this psycho-beast if it was the last thing she did today.

With a howl of excitement, Drakia pounced from one collapsing building to another, eyes wide and wild. Her jaw hanging open and tongue flapping in the wind, the charred lizard snarled, a sound of delight rather than of anger. As much as she loved the hunt, it was also a thrill to be the one hunted, escaping with danger snapping just at her heels. What a rush! Preparing to make another leap as she heard Vastrato tearing through yet another building, the lithe giant howled again, head whipped up at the sky. Then, muscles releasing all at once, she sprang forward-
- seconds before monstrous jaws slammed shut on her leg.
The howl became a shrill squeal as Vastrato chomped down with all her considerable strength, conical teeth sinking deep into Drakia's thigh. The elastic beast had finally caught the lizard, and she intended to extracted her revenge plus more. Flailing madly in agony, Drakia lashed out with her free hind leg. By sheer luck, she caught Vastrato square in the shoulder. To prevent her arm from being torn from its socket, the crocodile released her foe and let herself be thrown back by the blow, hissing sharply. With an annoyed grunt, the reptilian titan sat down hard, the street cratering beneath her vast bottom. Collapsing in a similarly undignified manner, Drakia screamed hoarsely, half from rage, half from joy. Real! She was real!
Jumping to her feet and wheeling around with a bloodthirsty yowl, the black terror lunged!
Vastrato was knocked flat on her back with a wheeze as Drakia smashed into her with all her weight. The lizard wasn't remotely the biggest or heaviest beast around, but the blow winded her all the same. The back of her skull cracking against harsh asphalt didn't help either. Running a slavering tongue over her curled lips, Drakia happily tore into the rubbery crocodile. One set of talons sought out where her fangs had already punctured Vastrato's shoulders, plunging deeper into the large wound. This sadistic action earned a high moan of agony. Drakia's other set of hooked claws raked across the titan's chest, splitting tough skin and loosing blood in three parallel gashed that traversed the whole of the crocodile's breast, one armpit to the other. Furious, Vastrato snapped at Drakia, jaws narrowly missing the predator's muzzle as she stretched her great head forward. Drakia, having sprung clear and landed cleanly on all fours, spun around and cracked her skeletal tail, hoping to bury its dagger point in her foe's neck...
