Quetzar was able to duck under the atomic blast and barrel at Orga again, determined to take the morphing menace down.
Meanwhile, Grimm slammed right into the Carcharius, stunned for a moment. It wasn't that far into the fight yet and already he was having his ass handed to him.
But Carcharius was loving it. He took hold of the vulture's head and swung Grimm around and into a wall of ice. For the moment, Grimm seemed to be completely knocked out. Finally, a decent good sized meal that wasn't too much to work for! The shark raised the bird head first, attempting to bite off the entire head... What he did not expect was a geyser of green stomach acid erupting from Grimm's beak and directly into his mouth. The taste was revolting! and for a beast that knew little to nothing else about gluttony and ate just about anything, that was saying a lot. In reflex Carcharius released the bird who was still vomiting up stomach fluids all over the shark. Carcharius began gagging and coughing hoarsely. His head was virtually drenched and his throat and gills felt like they were on fire. The stomach acid was burning at his flesh and it was agonizing. It hurt all the more that some of it was in his eyes.
For all the agony he may be in, Grimm had no remorse. Grimm lunged straight ahead, claws out, virtually pouncing upon the larger foe and toppling him over. He spared no moment to give this monster to recover. Rapid pecks struck several times, often aiming for the eyes. If Grimm could only blind this thing. But alas, Carcharius was no fool. He fought back, biting and slashing in a mad frenzy. Grimm had no choice but to quickly abandon his attacks and only barley managed to take to the sky as Carcharius continued to lunge after him. Now his head was covered cuts from the beak.
Grimm was going to have to keep on his toes. If not, he may just end up dying. Perhaps distant strikes will prove more useful. Truly more his style anyway. From a fair distance up in the air, Grimm began to bring the rain with volleys of feathers coming down like countless arrows upon Carcharius. . .

Carcharius moved away from the incoming volley of feathers. Although many sliced into and through the ice, a few found there mark, lacerating flesh with surprising ease. But he didn't feel it, not any more. Too much blood had been spilled, triggering a change in the mutant. His muscles bulged as he flet stronger, faster, tougher. At the same time he felt no pain from any of his wounds. All he felt now was a ravenous hunger for one thing...buzzard.
When faced with a flying opponent, Carcharius always had one trick up his sleeve...dive! He dove right into the water, Grimm hot on his heels, before disappearing into the inky blackness of the arctic sea. Grimm knew the shark would be coming back up, he had forseen as much. And as Carcharius circled below, building up momentum, Grimm knew where to be to avoid being lunch, as he flew away from the edge of the ice shelf. Then as Carcharius disappeared, diving deeper for the final drive to the surface, Grimm's perception of the future changed and became fuzzy.
"Damn you UCA bastards," was all he had time to think before the ice shelf right below him exploded in a spray of steam and ice shards as Carcharius exploded from the depths, his maw still smoking from where he had been launching fireballs. The battles here had weakened the ice, and with his focused rage, Carcharius knew enough to follow his target and how to penetrate the ice. Claws bit into Grimm's shoulders as Carcharius slammed into him. With his means of flight crippled, the two plummeted to the ice below before slamming into it, sending a loud CRACK reverberating through the battlefield.
When the proverbial dust settled, Carcharius was pulling himself upright as he towered over Grimm, who was plastered along the bottom on the crater. The incarnation of death itself was starting to care a lot more than usual about the outcome of this battle, as he hurt all over and wished to stop hurting. Unfortunately for him, Carcharius bit down into his gut, tearing into muscle and viscera, savoring the taste of flesh, before raising his arms and preparing to drive his talons through Grimm's chest...

Quetzar cringed inwardly as he heard Grimm's pained shrieks, but there was nothing he could do about it at the moment. He was too busy battling Orga, the gray alien's already deformed visage corrupted by traits of both Godzilla and King Kong. Ducking under another swipe from the chimeric monstrosity's huge claws, the Sun Warrior loosed a plume of fire- the flames only serving to distract the fireproof beast- and swung himself over the hulking monster with a sweep of his wings. Muscular coils looping around Orga, the feathered serpent jerked the dumb brute towards him and slashed with his fangs, the sharp ivory hooks ripping open Orga's scalp. As the hero released the dimwitted giant and swooped away, he tore loose a great, ragged flap of gray flesh. Unable to feel the pain, the deformed alien simply bellowed in anger as blood poured from his shredded scalp into his beady eyes. Spitting foul alien blood and tissue from his mouth, Quetzar hissed in frustration. Not only was this thing immune to his flames, but the seemingly breathless creature was also unaffected by constriction. That was two of his major weapons, gone. Prickling resentment against Grimm rose in the solar being's mind. Why couldn't he battle the shark? True, the bird's foresight gave him a distinct advantage over the voracious predator, but at least most of his attacks would do something against the sea beast.
An atomic ray broke the guardian's train of though, the mental locomotive derailed by a blast of nuclear fury.
Veering to the side and nearly crashing into a jagged ice structure, Quetzar wailed as the azure power pummeled his length. The searing heat was nothing but a welcomed snack to the solar serpent, but the sheer physical force was punishing, not to mention the spiderweb of electricity that jolted him. Forcing his wings to keep pumping, Quetzar banked, ragged membranes rocketing the hero towards Ogra. He had an idea, but he would need some space. Gliding nimbly around a second nuclear beam, Quetzar dove right at Orga and lashed out with his plumed tail. The feathered tail tip wrapped around the alien's thick neck like a noose, yanking the DNA monstrosity off his feet. Dragged across the arctic ice, Orga howled in outrage, both his feral possessors furious at such disrespectful treatment. Fur, scales, and blood trailed after the thrashing monster, the terrible pain that should come with such abuse withheld, for better or worse. Tail slipping from around Orga's throat, Quetzar soared straight up, looping through the air. Rushing his chimeric foe once again just as the alien rose to a stand, nothing but raw, bleeding flesh along his hunched back, the winged serpent furled his wings and tucked into a rapid spin.
Jaws gently finding his own tail, the Sun Warrior became a living saw disc that bounced across the ice!
The whirl of warm emerald scales and cutting crimson spines that was Quetzar smashed into Orga, earning a confused groan from the dull-minded beast. The rotating momentum of the spinning serpent slammed the alien back violently, pushing him across the ice with little resistance. Sliding, Orga was sawed into by Quetzar, hide split like nothing and flesh faring no better. From chin to groin, the hulking brute was laid open, blood and shredded tissue gushing out in a hot waterfall. Steam rose from the pools of crimson life essence that marked the dueling giant's gory path, the pale vapor rising up in reaching, yearning curls. Approaching their final destination, Quetzar broke off his spin and shot upwards, just before Orga smashed into a towering spire of ice. The crystalline structure shattered, its crumbling corpse swallowing up Orga in a frozen landslide that skewered the alien with icicles and jagged shards. Hovering above the carnage, dark blood slicked across his scales, Quetzar nodded, satisfied. He was far from useless without his flames, this proved it. Wings tucking in, the Sun Warrior plunged, fire blazing in his jaws. The Sun Warrior planned to melt Orga's icy prison into slush and then let the sub-zero environment freeze him into an inescapable tomb of frost and snow...

...Only for Orga's Shoulder Beam to slam into him.
Quetzar was sent flying back by the beam's physical force, slamming straight through an ice structure before hitting the water, skipping across the surface like a pebble before sinking beneath the surface. Orga ran over to the edge before jumping into the water, now becoming more Godzilla-like. Reaching Quetzar in a few minutes, the alien wrapped his claws around his body. Reacting quickly, Quetzar lunged forward and bit Orga's head, but the alien mutant never noticed it as he bit down on the serpent's neck. Quetzar let out a gurgle of pain, before he bore a suprised expression on his face as Orga's jaws began to elongate like his own. Orga's back straitened as his dorsal spines reverted back into his body. Large, leathery wings sprouted from his back as his body lengthened before his tail grew a plume of feathers.
Releasing his grip from Quetzar, Orga swam to the surface, emerging out of the water as he turned to watch as Quetzar managed to stick his head out of the water, gasping fiercely before he looked up...
...And got a faceful of Dagahra's Barem.
Quetzar screamed as the acidic starfish burned away his scales and started sapping him of his energy. Orga dragged him out of the water before he started to punch Quetzar's face...

Off a little ways, Grimm was still going head to head with that bloodthirsty shark. Well, foot to snout. After Carcharius had torn into his guy, Grimm was just trying to keep the shark from killing him. Carcharius kept baring down, jaws gaping. His claws were deep into his chest. Grimm just barley kept the sea monster from coming down and biting him in half.
Losing blood yet, the vulture had little left to offer before he was going to give out. What he gets for being old. Yet he had one more good trick up his sleeve. Glaring into the eyes of the shark, he had been battling the monsters instincts and urges to kill and feed. Not an easy task while physically holding the beast off.
But it was working. Slowly but surely, Carcharius was calming down. Grimm was successfully willing the monsters emotions to a calmer, almost sleep-like state. Before Carcharius knew it, he was half asleep. Grimm quickly got to his talons and backed off. With such a big gash in his chest, he had to work quickly. "Alright, you... Come on..." Carefully working the sharks empathy, what little it had, Grimm slowly began backing up. Between his instincts and the strings the bird pulled, Carcharius lazily followed, sometimes gnawing at the air. His will to eat from the scent of blood was wickedly powerful and it still raged on. "That's it, come on you mother fucking eating machine...", Grimm panted. Slowly he was leading him along the ice and toward the other two fighting monsters; Quetzar and Orga.
Closer he got, the more Grimm let the sharks own will come into play. Close enough, his feathers ruffled and he called out, "COME ON YOU MOTHER FUCKER, COME AT ME!" with his own empathy lashing out and firing up Carcharius's rage. Rage... hate.... hunger... HATE. Carcharius never felt so angry. In a blind fury of hunger and hate, he lunged for Grimm. Quick to duck, Carcharius literally overshot his target. As he went over, Grimm sank his beak into the ankle, cutting deep and tripping the shark face-first into the ice.
Now Grimm had to move it fast, and fast he was. Darting around and hopping over the rampaging shark, he still pulled the strings at the abominations emotions. Carcharius was up and chasing after him. Grimm raced to Orga from behind, jumping up and landing on the monsters back briefly before hopping back off. Orga flinched and reached after him. He missed of course, but Grimm turned back with a sly grin. "Gotcha..."
Carcharius close behind, he slammed jaws first right into Orga's back. In his blind bloodrage for food and the rage being forced onto him, he began tearing at the alien beast. Orga released Quetzar and began reaching back in a panic as now the two allied monsters began to fight amongst each other.
Quetzar rose, and Grimm hopped in to grab him; dragging him away from the two. "Your hurt bad," Quetzar said. Grimm just kept pulling him away before saying "So what? You are too. "Not that bad." "Shut up before I kick your teeth in.," half hearted, half serious. Now from Afar, Grimm would try to manipulate the emotions of both Orga and Carcharius to try and get them to tear into each other, instead of himself and Quetzar.

Grimm had succeeded in one aspect. By manipulating what little emotions Carcharius had and driving him towards rage and hate, he made himself less of a target, because he had put him in close proximity to Quetzar. With his control over his internal hunger gone, Carcharius only caught a flash of Quetzar before his mind started making connections. Long, serpentine body, powerful wings, and lots of fire. He ignored the fact that Quetzar was green and feathery. A mental image of Hera had already overlapped with the Sun Warrior, and Carcharius was out for more than blood. He wanted revenge.
Carcharius shoved off of Orga and lunged at Quetzar, catching the serpent off guard by the sudden change in targets. Grimm sreeched in surprise as well, as he tried to reel in Carcharius, but the rage drivign him was too intense at this point. Fangs bit deep into Quetzar's hide, drawing blood and cries of agony as anti-coagulant was pumped into the mix. Carcharius snarled as he tore a chunk fo flesh loose and wolfed in down, before digging his claws into Quetzar's hide as he held the struggling serpent down.
He didn't even feel it as several razor-edged feathers from Grimm struck him in the back. All he cared about was Hera/Quetzar. His fangs flashed as he bit down again and again, tearing more ragged holes in the Sun Warrior's flesh before going for the killing blow, by aiming his jaws at Quetzar's throat...

Quetzar thrashed on gored coils slick with his own blood. The solar serpent was going insane with agony, his mind and body on fire. The brutal claws and teeth of Carcharius had punched straight through his emerald scales and shredded his flesh like butter, spilling his molten blood in hot pools that spread across the ice like a crimson plague. But even in his unimaginable pain, Quetzar knew he couldn't lose. Carcharius would kill him, that much was obvious. This was no longer about pride or honor, it was life or death. And he couldn't fail Grimm either. The bird was depending on him to be a strong partner. The bird had suffered in place of him. The bird was his friend. He couldn't let himself or his friend down. As Carcharius lunged from his throat, yawning maw like the back grip of Death itself, a landslide of adrenaline surged through Quetzar's body and into his internal furnace, where it exploded into sheer power. Body bursting into flames, the rush of new energy- now in the form of a boiling golden essence- rushed from the serpent's gullet and into his throat.
Moments before Carcharius ripped his jugular out, the Sun Warrior's jaw swung open and a wall of golden fire met the crazed predator!
The enormous blast of searing flames engulfed the sea beast entirely, the shark's writhing form blown back by the wide stream of solar fire. Rocketing from the golden flamethrower in a heap of smoking, smoulder flesh, Carcharius loosed an unearthly howl. Bouncing across the frozen ground, scorched body leaving behind skids of ash and char, the shark went into crazed spasms, clawing and biting the air, the ice, and even his own body. Unnoticed by the pained titan, the ice groaned and creaked under his angry assault. The hide of the berserk eating machine was a burnt husk, steam pouring from his peeling bladed skin and bubbling back armor. Had his eyes not been rolled into his skull for what should have been the finish blow, they would have popped from the heat. Sensing overloaded by the desperate blast of fire, Carcharius never noticed Quetzar descending upon him until the hero's shadow swallowed him up. Slamming into the shark, the Sun Warrior looped his still fiery coils around the oceanic titan. Carcharius squealed as he was crushed by Quetzar's muscular length, the squeeze devastating his burnt body. His melting back plates caved in, cooking the flesh beneath. His blackened hide crunched and splintered, shards of the charred skin stabbing deep into the vulnerable flesh beneath. All the air was pushed from the shark's lungs, leaving the brute gasping and choking for air. But as the shark's struggled began to weaken, kicking and flailing shrinking in size and power, the shark was dumped back onto the ice. As Carcharius gasped for air, Quetzar rose into the air, the vengeful fire in his eyes fading. The berserk predator had payed for what he did to him and needed not suffer anymore. The Sun Warrior couldn't allow himself to fall as low as the likes of Thresher or his brutal partner.
Blood splattered the airborne guardian as one of his wings was rendered to ribbons.
With a shocked gasp, Quetzar plunged, crashing down onto the ice not far from Carcharius. Hovered over him, Orga bellowed triumphantly. Rolling to glare up at the alien, Quetzar noted two things- the DNA monstrosity still held its sickening likeness to him, but it had not used one of his own weapons against him. Instead, three blades of concentrated energy faded from the jutting tri-horn left over from the influence of Destoroyah and SpaceGodzilla. While the Sun Warrior was unaware of his approach, he had struck with a trio of laser horns! The cutting heat of the deadly weapon had simply been absorbed by the serpent, but the rapidly vibrating particles had sawed through Quetzar's wings like nothing, rendering the ragged membranes into four flapping strips that fluttered uselessly in the arctic wind. The reptilian defender bit back a mental curse. How did this thing constantly hinder him? First its immunity to fire and suffocation, and now this? With one wing unfit for flight, he couldn't perform his traditional finish of cratering the landscape like a comet, his foe leading the plummet. Grim determination seized the serpent's eyes in the form of flickering flames. Once again, he would have to get creative.
With his high, whistling wail, Quetzar lunged up on one pumping wing!
Surprising his foe was still this mobile with only one wing, Orga could only stare dumbly as the Sun Warrior tackled him, flipping the chimeric juggernaut over in the air. Plumed tail wrapping around the beast's broad shoulder and thick neck, Quetzar worked his good wing frantically, sending himself and his passenger into a wild downwards swing. Head tucking against his coils, the feathered serpent became a spiral of flesh and blood, Orga roaring in distress as he was flung down by the organic pinwheel. Brought down like a hammer, the hulking alien monster is smashed into Carcharius, who immediately starts slashing at his partner in a blind fit of rage. Between the girth of the two giants and the force of Quetzar's throw, the already weakened ice shattered and the bickering titans plunge into the arctic water, their bucking shapes lost in a churning mass of blood and steam...

A well-hidden loudspeaker announces, "Monsters, stand down. The fight, is over. The winners are as follows: Grimm and Quetzar. Monsters will now return to their individual quarters."
This was a very close match, it came down to a couple point difference. Both teams, be proud.

Orga emerged out of the water as he stared at Grimm and Quetzar. Then... "Hey, hey, hey!!!" Gwangi appeared right next to Orga, glaring at Quetzar. "I know you. You're the guy who caused chaos everywhere. You know who you are? You're this guy." Gwangi somehow showed Quetzar this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=a57j9-zqtnYwww.youtube.com/watch?v=pn74Cj2E48A&feature=related"That's who you are. I'm suprised your profile says you're a protecter of races, when clearly you're the Spirit of Chaos. Now Orga, be a good alien and GET THEY HAY OUTTA HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!" "uh...okay." Orga stumbled into his teleportation light while Gwangi stood proud. "Now, as you always say, if you excuse me, I have some chaos to make." With a snap of his claws, Gwangi teleported away. OOC: Great fight guys. Just wanna let you know you all can use my monsters for your own little history, as well as make your own bios for each whenever you feel like it! ^_^

Blinking slowly, Grimm blinked in confusion at what he saw... and what the two monsters claimed, and what they just compared Quetzar too.
"Quetzar.."
"Those two are fucking.. .fucking, retarded, idiots..."
"eee-yep..."
Grimm then posed and started mocking them. "Oh, look out, Quetzar is this... weird chimera dragon thingy that he is obviously not!", he then got serious. "Even accused me of being that... thingy... Thingy, ya, I'm using words that don't exist. I don't get it. How does that mish-mash of monster parts confuse either of us for that. It just don't make logic sense..."
Quetzar nodded absently.
Carcharius was again coming from behind, but Grimm looked back, glaring, pushing fear onto the shark with his empathy. With a snort, Grimm said "Buddy boy, you better think twice..." and like a frightened fish, Carcharius backed away.. "Yeah, you better go you wuss..." He looked to Quetzar. "Lets get out of here, before I lose anymore blood...

As the twin beams that would transport them back to the Hub speared the sky, Grimm and Quetzar turned and move towards the bright columns together. Grimm, bleeding heavily and limping, only grumbled sourly to himself, face flat except for a tiny hint of annoyance. It was impossible to tell if he held any satisfaction in their victory. Quetzar was forced to slither like a common snake, one wing completely crippled, blood trailing behind him in a winding trail. Still, he held his head high, eyes fierce and proud. Battling past obstacle after obstacle, he had worked for this triumph. His body ached and his flesh was pained, but only an excited energy registered in the serpent's mind, flames licking from his nostrils as he breathed deeply. This was a victory he truly earned.
Still, one thing did dampen his spirits.
If I ever find, the Sun Warrior started, shooting his thoughts towards Grimm. This... Discord... that I keep getting accused of being... there will be nothing left but ashes... and those will be burned as well. You?
To the reptilian guardian's mild surprise, Grimm chuckled softly. "I think I'll just watch."
Sharing a silent laugh at their mutual dislike of being called out as and attacked for what they weren't, the bird and the serpent disappeared in a blinding flash.

Carcharius slowly calmed down as Grimm's influence and the scent of blood faded. He was alone, again, and was once more denied a meal. But that would change, in time. He would have the last bite. And with his, his hunger, and his need for vengeance, would be satisfied.
