Athujen, the Towering Tree Behemoth! vs. Doppelzilla, The Changeling! ref: HayesAJones Intro: Athujen opens his eyes from a sleeping state to see various animals all wearing tuxedos dancing in front of him. The slow-minded mutation rises to his feet-all four of them-and bellows thunderous laughter in utter glee while clapping his hands and joining the strange beings in dancing. All of a sudden and lacking any warning, the familiar bright column of frost colored energy consumes Athujen's form and teleports him to the appointed arena for his combat about to take place (unbeknownst to him, no matter how many times this has happened before to him). As the light fades to reveal his form (and consciousness reacquired), he finds himself dancing in the city. The very same battlefield that his last match took place in, against the friend-killing dragon, Cerulean. Athujen remembers the cerulean-colored Cerulean, and takes a moment to look around to see if the dragon is here, too. But no Cerulean. Athujen moans a "phew!" He starts strolling around the city to find a suitable "sandbox" to play in, forgetting that even though Cerulean is not here, that doesn't mean his trip outside his magical forest is without another brawler...

Unbeknownst to everyone, the city was not completely devoid of life. A single, humanoid shape stood on the top of a building, gaze focused on the gargantuan form of Athujen. The figure appeared to be a young man, maybe in his late 20s, with green eyes, black hair and wearing a dark blue coat. Yet, this was no man. He was merely a disguise, a lie. Doppelzilla had been teleported to this strange planet not long before the colossal tree monster arrived, and he had a mission to complete and his master to please. However, for his plan to work, he had to enter this place's collection of monsters, and why not having a little fun while doing it? With a malicious grin that revealed a good number of sharp fangs, he let loose a screeching roar and leaped off the building. Terrible Tree Terror turned around at the sound, and he saw a little creature jump off a building. Then, in a swirl of dark blue, moving scales, a towering form took the place of the little man. A blue, lizard-like creature landed on the ground with surprising easyness and not making much sound. Then, the creature lifted its muzze and grinned at him. Doppelzilla stood in his true form, showing himself to his new prey. He got the impression the other monster was somewhat simple-minded, given the amazed, child-like look on his face. He opened his jaws and greeted the other "Hello, little one"....

Athujen stares wide-eyed at the menacing blue saurian standing before him. The gleam of innocence in his wooden prey's eyes amuses Doppelzilla. "Heh, this'll be fun... I'll rip you to shreds just to prove to the world of my dominance, not that fool "King of the Monsters!" King of the Monsters...HA!" Doppelzilla rambles on about a vendetta that does not even concern Terrible Tree Terror! It is hard to tell if the doppelganger of a kaiju even realizes that, but whether he does or not, he's primed and ready to take it out on the wooden wallop'er regardless. It does not take a genius to realize Doppelzilla is of a violent, villainous nature and disregards the well being of others (which is good, because a genius Athujen is not), a connection that can be made primarily just from one look at him and his body; all those long fangs crowding the mystified Zilla's mouth, the hardened claws as black as Doppelzilla's intentions, the spikes decorating his body for both offensive and defensive purposes... It's true that he does not have a friendly visage. It's the blue monster's menacing appearance that wards Athujen away from even attempting to make friends with him. Remarkable on Doppelzilla's part, because making friends is ever-present on Athujen's poor excuse of a mind and first priority; anytime he has come in contact with a monster (and anytime he will come in contact in the future), he's tried to make a new friend. He will try to become friends and play together. So to actually put that idea out of Athujen's small mind... As said- impressive.
Doppelzilla lowers his upper torso to become horizontal, then enters into a proficient and quick, agile stride forward- towards Athujen. The forest-dweller cowers and brings both sets of arms up and crossed over defensively like a scared kid. The blue Zilla's diamond-hard talons shred the pavement below as he moves; moves in closer to his prey. Now, he's close; close enough to merit a leap. His masterful leap sends him pouncing down on Terrible Tree Terror (who right now, isn't really terrible, or a terror). Athujen's braced arms overall protect him from the kinetic damage of the pounce, but the damage is about to commence, as Doppelzilla weighs him down and forces him to fall back through a building. Now back-first against the ground, Doppelzilla "goes to town" (heh, a pun p:) as the human expression goes. It starts with him flexing his fingers and claws, then continues with the replicating kaiju bringing his sharp nails, as solid as they are, down on poor Athujen! The force of the swipes drive the armaments deep through the dry bark exterior, invoking thick, sticky sap to seep out. The mutant iguana cackles like a demon while literally carving his foe's exterior. The low, deep moaning that Triple T bellows acts as a seasoning for Doppelzilla's enjoyment.
But unfortunately, now it ends.
After some seconds, Athujen has come to his senses. He extends a prime arm and clamps shut the thorny fingers around Doppelzilla's throat to restrain the brawler. Next, Athujen wastes no time in bringing his pair of lesser arms right up to Doppelzilla's chest, hands open. With everything in position, Terrible Tree Terror fires off his iconic splinter shards. As they start embedding in the specific locations (neck and torso), Doppelzilla resists and wiggles profusely. Athujen holds on for several more seconds before Doppelzilla manages to escape the restrained state and back off. Zilla's neck plays home to an innumerable amount of those pesky penetrating projectiles, all pushed through the top layer of flesh and creating openings for blood to seep out of in order to gather outside the body, and seep down and/or drip off the vengeful entity. Itchy, too, are the throbbing injuries that are plagued by soreness. As for the torso- since the "hand cannons" were not pressing against the targeted vicinity (despite being up close and personal), the penetration tools are not as deep as the first set of wood shards. This group actually has butt ends poking out of the skin.
Doppelzilla is not about to sit down and take this, or let this idiot halt his progress along the staircase to vengeance promised to him and equipped to achieve it by HellGodzilla. Doppelzilla roars before diving into another charge.
Doppelzilla repeats his earlier actions; claws chewing through concrete, body reared horizontally. The only difference from earlier is that Zilla's initial attack has been [satisfactory] motivation for the walking, living tree to snap out of the intimidation and put him in a proficient state; a state of action. Doppelzilla soars towards Terrible Tree Terror (who's finally living up to his moniker), who responds by pushing his own bulk into the air with all four legs. Athujen rears back in mid-air so that Zilla crashes into all four of Athujen's legs that have reared back and kicked outwards with tremendous solidity and kinetic prowess. A wet "crack" reverberates out of the successful subsequent attack.
The two kaiju land; Athujen, on his feet, crushing a circle of fresh concrete below from hefty impact, and Doppelzilla, on his side, bouncing upon impact. One of Triple T's legs had kicked the splinter-littered chest. The powerful kick had the effect of [both] bruising and breaking skin. Now, Zilla's chest throbs more, creating a mere annoyance for the strong, proud creature. With all the vengeance in his heart, all the wrath to execute, some splinters and slams won't be able to stop him... "I WILL have my revenge on humanity!"
Athujen disregards his foe's words as mindless banter and opts to do another physical battering. Now it is the kaiju funster's turn to go on the prowl. Triple T plants three legs firmly and drags the fourth along the ground, grinding a ravine into the ground while preparing to charge like a bull does. Then, he's off; he tramples forward. He ends up coming to a halt- when he comes face-to-face with Doppelzilla. Athujen does a couple of 360's to build momentum so that when the time comes and he crashes his tail into the vengeful creature (like he does right now), the dead weight impacts hard enough to do/be a good clobbering.
The tail hits the side of HellGodzilla's minion's extensive neck. It's hard to tell because of the iguana's skin color...but, a nice sized bruise forms, and continuously pulsates with tenderness. Doppelzilla's opponent is trying to wear him down with strong, upfront physical brutality. The hunchback of the forest keeps going with this and grabs Zilla by the throat once more in a prime arm. He lifts the sapphire kaiju off the ground, turns, and finally starts executing a chokeslam through a tall office building before into the ground...

Doppelzilla is smashed right through the building, cutting through the walls with his sharp back spines. Enveloped by rubble and dirt, he feels Athujen's hand release its strong grip on his neck, but the force of the slam brings his back on the solid ground, landing hard. Though in pain, he smirks. He's got a plan.
Terrible Tree Terror watches, but there's very little to look at, for his last attack has created a big and thick cloud of dirt. He can't see the blue saurian anywhere. The dust clears, but to Athujen's surprise, he sees no blue scaly body. He looks around, wary of any surprise attack.
KRACK, He turns to his left, yet he sees nothing.
KRAACK, he looks behind, nothing.
Then, all of a sudden, the ground below him gaves away, making Triple T fall down in surprise. Before he knows, he's burrowed up to his shoulders, arms included. He tries to struggle, but he's trapped well in the clutch of solid earth. He feels a tremor, and the ground in front of him explodes outwards to reveal the blue form of Doppelzilla. He still wears his sadistic smirk on his muzzle, and he stands smugly facing a trapped Athujen.
The Doppelganger lifts a claw to pick one of Athu's shards from his neck. He pretends to study it "So, you're made of wood" he throws the shard away, his smirk widening "Allright, 'Pinocchio', it's dinner time. Just let me get a fire going" He brings his head slightly up, inhaling deeply. Then, his neck shoots forward suddenly, releasing a stream of bright green flames. The fire gets on the whole space going from Triple T's brow to his hunch. Then the pain begins. It's terrible, burning as no other fire ever burned. The stream had ceased, but the struck area has taken fire and continues to painfully burn. In his agony, Athujen shuts his eyes, trying to resist the ferocious flames. Even in pain, he can very well feel his own bark-like skin melt like a candle under the supernatural fire, slowly dripping down his body.
The fires die away, but the aftermath of such a painful experience remains. He then hears a noise. A step. Then another. Then a growling chuckle. It's close, very close. He opens his eyes to see Doppelzilla right over him. The reptile pays him no mind, slowly leaning over his neck. Doppelzilla opens his jaws and a long, tentacle-like tongue comes out of the fanged cavern. The reptile runs his tongue over the other monster's neck, licking away the melted skin greedly, like it is a precious juice. As Terrible Tree Terror recovers from the pain and the shock, Doppelzilla cleans him of all the melted skin, smiling satisfied once he's done.
"Not bad as appetizer" He says, standing behind Athujen. "Now, on with the main course!" he screams, before sinking his dagger-like teeth into the tree monster's right shoulder. The fangs, as sharp as diamond blades, penetrate deep, making Athujen give a slight cry. The bite feels much like the fire, as Doppelzilla's corrosive venom begins eating away at his shoulder. The wound is now much larger and stings like damn. Then, Dop begins to suck, taking in the sap that is in place of Ath's blood. He assimilates the fluid hungrily, taking what he needs to pay back this lumbering plant. Absorbed in the sweet taste, he drinks far more than what he needs, latching on Athujen's shoulder for a minute or two, before detaching.
"Not bad at all" he steps in front of the trapped monster, now dizzy and paralyzed by the venom, looking at him in the eye. He then rises his arms slightly up, and Ath watches as the blue scales give way to a much more solid-looking skin, and big four-fingered hands. Two more arms, these ones slightly shorter, sprout from the reptilian monster's sides. In his current state, Terrible Tree Terror can't quite place it, but those arms look creepily familiar. Doppelzilla places his new-formed hands on Athujens's neck and partially exposed chest. Athu then feels a number of stinging sensations, like being bitten by hundreds of bees. Whatever they are, they've gone deep inside of his form. When Dop removes his four hands, TTT's shock at the sight of what is embedded in his chest is more than obvious. Sticking out of his chest and neck are his own wooden shards!
"That stings, huh?" Dop steps back, while his secondary arms disappear and his main ones return to normal form. He stands, his tail swinging wildly behind him, diamond blades shining "Now, time to deforest some" and his tail swings towards Terrible Tree Terror with frightening speed, its spikes more than worth any chainsaw in the world heading straight for the paralyzed tree monster's neck.....

LMAO! and by the way, Athujen doesn't have nerves. His body is just wood. He feels pressure though, so while he doesn't feel pain in amounts, he can feel pressure being applied to a part of his body and detect that he's being damaged/attacked. Just a heads up ^.^ All that the living hunk of wood can do in his paralyzed state is take the attack. The tail strikes the "undercarriage" of Athujen's head, aka the neck, and pulls back to leave a nice souvenir- a gash saturated in sap. Fortunately, Athujen's dense oak has provided enough resistance to the cutting tools that they do not cut as deep as Doppelzilla has hoped they would. The sound of the solid sawing weapons cutting against the wood sends Triple T into an anxiety attack, and not being able to move yet has him even more nervous. His woodland critters nested inside his body sense their home's panic and immediately exit Athujen to protect him, and in the process, make it easier to exit the tomb made in the ground. With the strength and vigor that their species are famous for, the dozens of radioactively mutated bullet ants dig around the compacted ground to give their Master room to move once the immobility lifts. Doppelzilla watches as the insects (as big and long as his nails) lift out of the ground and start swarming towards him. He laughs. "Such cute little things, but I fail to understand just how little bugs can stop my wrath, you incompetent buffoon." The gifted Zilla is about to find out... The army of bullet ants start crawling up Doppelzilla's body. He arrogantly laughs as he lets them take point on selected portions of his body. Three come to a halt on his left shoulder, two under his arm/on the armpit, four on his knees, eight along his muscular tail, five or six along his sides, one on his left elbow and two on his right [elbow]. A dozen and a half stay by Athujen's side and continue excavating the earth compressing his body, and another dozen poke out of the ground and start crawling towards the Zilla. The ants scattered around his body lean down with poised abdomen's and start by biting the scales then driving their stingers down through the protective scales (thanks to their ant strength) to inject their venom. It takes but a second for Doppelzilla's body to register the pain instilled by the insect venom, and that is when Doppelzilla roars in distinct pain. The numbers at each point make the pain flood the limbs with incredibly and brilliantly burning awareness. Doppelzilla realizes he has to take action, and starts swiping ants off and scratching through his own scales to dislodge other ants. With stomps and swipes of his tail, Doppelzilla crushes a great number of ants. The miniature warriors survive the crushes and the stomps like a normal ant would, but their bodies are still crushed from impact and leak body fluids. The injured three dozen return to Athujen through the ports around his body; the behemoth's anxiety replaced by sadness from seeing his friends in that condition (and because the paralysis has all but worn off, so being able to move for the most part despite some numbness here and there has calmed the savage amalgamation. Athujen watches as another dozen of his friends, the second wave to approach Zilla, get roasted on the spot by devilish green flames. Along with the ground they stand on, the ants melt into a milky pool of liquid that bubbles in the dome-shaped impression in the ground. Doppelzilla ignores his aches and leans down to ingest the bullet ant and concrete soup. That is the last straw. Athujen bursts free of the tomb ensnaring him; his mighty arms send concrete and dirt chunks in every direction. A nearby cluster of stores become a litter of rubble from having concrete boulders smash through them. Athujen does not even register what happens to the building; instead, he's standing tall and furious with this destructive creature. Athujen points at Doppelzilla and releases an extended moan to say, "You! You make hurt my friends of crawl! I don't can let happen that." Intelligence or not, Athujen doesn't take harm to his "friends" lightly. Not one bit. The titan tightens his right hand into a fist, clenching so hard that his wooden knuckles crack- literally! In his emotional state, the fist begins glowing with a white swirling collection of energy; the clear energy looks like a collection of wind gusts. Athujen tramples down the street only to clock Zilla square in the jaw(s) (which were closed). The added concussive energy exerts extra force, dislodging a handful of teeth from the gums and dislocating the lower jaw. Doppelzilla hits the ground like a sack of bricks, laying on his right side. The reptile is rendered unconscious from the hit, and a cocktail of blood and saliva pool outside of the open orifice, against the ground that his blue head is elevated above. Doppelzilla's body twitches a couple times. It is after the spasms that he regains consciousness and rises to his two feet. The doppelganger kaiju pushes his bottom jaw back in place and rubs his very swollen cheek, a royal purple tint and as tender as a mother fucker (how tender is a motherfucker? odd expression o.O lololol) (the bruise is even moist with blood). Zilla's tongue feels the open bleeding spots where deadly fangs once rested. The titan has effectively proved that he is not fooling around. Athujen's tail then readies itself, before pushing forward and pushing through the scale-decorated and pained (from the ants' venom) left side of the destructor. Upon penetration, Zilla growls, and feels blood being sucked from his body via his wooden victim's tail. It is true; Athujen is taking blood from his enemy and has it flow through his tail and into his body, converting the life liquids into strength and energy. Terrible Tree Terror doesn't overindulge, he takes an amount then snaps his tail back behind him, where it waves and cracks the ground underneath it. For his final attack, Athujen leaps into the air with left arm crossed around his chest and held back by the opposite arm, and attempts to "elbow-drop" HellGodzilla's subordinate and tries to elbow-drop his limb's edged protrusion into Doppelzilla's back...

Darn, that takes half the fun away...oh, well. NOw, where were we? Ah, yes...
The changeling sees the tree monster coming straight down to him. He is up on his feet, and could easily avoid the hit. Yet, he remains there, crouching down on the ground, with his back ready to be smashed by Athujen's attack. Or so the tree monster thinks. As soon as TTT is close enough, Doppelzilla's sharp dorsal spines explode outward, growing to thrice their normal lenght in an instant, with even some new ones growing out. When Athujen sees the danger, it's too late.
Athujen lands with his whole left side, arm and legs included, impaled on the sharp spines. He manages to hold on some of the taller spikes to reduce his momentum a bit, and his though skin helps resisting the penetration, so the spikes don't go all the way through him. Yet, he is not really capable to move now, pretty much struck on those sharp pikes with his sap dripping along the offending objects.
Doppelzilla gets up, and his lethal spikes shrink back to their normal lenght, as such letting Athujen fall to the ground. But the Doppelganger isn't going to give his enemy any breathing space. He grabs the still shocked Terrible Tree Terror by his right arm, and hoists him up. His tail lashes out and ensnares Athu's left arm. As the blue saurian's right fist is brought back, he grins maliciously. "Say 'cheese'". The fist then grows to thrice its size, looking like a very solid hammer. It is also enveloped in the same energy as Athujen's earlier punch. The tree monster watches, eyes wide. Dude, that was gonna...Wham! The super-sized fist hits his jaw witht he force of a boulder, sending him flying back a good distance. Athujen's not knocked out, but his head spins like a whirlgig and his jaw has a strange angle to it.
Doppelzilla begins to close on the fallen enemy to strike while he's weak, fangs exposed and claws bared. Then, he stops. Something looking like a cloud or steam, is rising from Athujen's shoulder. Yet, Doppelzilla knew neither clouds or steam emit buzzing noises. Terrible Tree Terror has released his swarm of Tarantula Hawks, and they are pissed. Pissed for the damage to their home, the fire that nearly got to them and the recent flight. They head for the Doppelganger with an angry unblinking eyes and cruel stings bared. Some manage to get to his left shoulder and his legs, and there they use their weapons. Dammit, that stings!
Doppelzilla howls in pain, feeling like an electrical surge cursing in the offended parts. Pain however fuels his rage, which gives him enough strenght to think. He sees the rest of the swarm closing on him, but he's not about to receive the same treatment the ants had given him. Using Athujen's DNA, he turns his scales into hard bark-like armor. The wasps try to make their stingers reach the soft flesh underside, but a jet of green flames makes them retreat back to their home. Some of them are caught, and the Doppelganger greedly consumes their leftovers. Despite the pain from the stingers, he smiles once more. Now he has everything he needs.
The shapeshifter then turns to Athujen, who's just trying to stand. The offensive action on his friends made Terrible Tree Terror awake from the dizzyness and try to defend them. As soon as he manages to stand on a least two of his massive legs, he feels claws grabbing his shoulders and he's sharply turned to the side. He manages to see Doppelzilla's fanged maw a split second before he unleashes his flames once more. This time they get to the tree monster's chest and belly, melting away his skin. The blast manages to push Athujen on the ground once more, but it is quick, and the blue monster soon ends it.
Athujen expects the creature to get down and drink the melted skin, so he can try to grab him, but the shapeshifter just stands there. Dop stretches out his right arm for Athujen's to watch as it turns into a long, bone-made, sharp-as-hell blade. He holds it right in fron of TTT's face, before smirking, his intentions with the weapon quite clear even to Athu. Then Hellgodzilla's minion leaps up into the air, a fair distance from the ground. The monster twirls once to gain more force and then comes straight down, in a crouched position, putting all his weight on the blade. He's heading straight for the tree monster's chest, now soft and vulnerable thanks to the fire. The living guillotine comes at full speed towards Athujen, ready to cut him in half.....

The harm to his friends has the wood-decked Titan on full alert. Instinctively, he turns around at the right moment so when Doppelzilla slashes a chunk of bark away from the rear of Athu's left shoulder, he does what he did to Athujen previously- the Zilla's momentum drives the solid extensions through a number of points (is that a pun I smell?!) all over the sapphire monster's front. The blunt edges make the laceration ports feel more pain because of the fact that dull edges didn't cut, but push their way through scales. Blood leaks at a rapid rate out of the points of penetration and down Athujen's rear, soaking the bark like rainwater. Athujen stands up, shakes his body to move around his weapons inside their sheathes along Doppel's body and augment soreness to a tender degree, then removes Doppelzilla harmlessly with his tail.
The Zilla falls, but lands on his feet and stays standing. Athujen wipes the layer of mucus from his chest to check his port, which is still intact...but for how much longer? The question decides the bark behemoth's next attack for him.
As Athujen looks towards the sky, his phosphorescent eyes dim (his rendition of shutting his eyes, because he has no eyelids p:). He concentrates for the upcoming attack. The tree calls on his banked solar energy and transfers a heap to his chest's floral decoration, made evident by the glow peaking out of the port. Moans escape the solid and rigid lips of the monstrosity. The moment comes- time to unleash the cannon. The chest port spreads open and reveals a blinding and air-warping accumulation of pure solar energy. One second goes by; two seconds, three seconds, four seconds... The omnipotent Solar Beam is set in motion and upon its firing/release, searing sparks of heat burst outwards from ground zero. Athujen's most potent weapon (in the form of a concentrated blast) makes contact with Doppelzilla's chest and drives him back despite diamond-hard talons dug into the ground. As he's pushed back, Zilla's nails dig ravines in the asphault. As mighty as he is, Doppelzilla cannot hold back from shrieking in affliction as his flesh roasts, and boils. The putrid smell of his own flesh cooking distresses the mutant iguana.
Moments have passed, seconds that have dragged on and felt like decades. The beam loses its mass until it is no longer, and the only evidence that it even existed is the pussy, boil-decorated black mass of severely burnt skin. The flesh still bubbles, and feels like nothing he's felt before. Ever. The only liquid seeping out-able to seep out-is puss. Infection begins setting in, and the chest pulsates with pure torture. The chest port seals back up, and Athujen roars, ready for another go.
Terrible Tree Terror quakes forward and trips up Zilla with a gentle tail swipe. With his foe grounded, Athujen rears his front legs up before slamming them down individually. One at a time, the dense appendages move like pistons crashing into the critical chest injury, painfully pushing out fresh blood and disgusting puss. Doppelzilla can hear his crispy skin crack like styrofoam and he coughs up blood onto the fractured street. Athujen ceases, but the damage has been done, the pain set in. His nerves are overwhelmed by painful stimuli. Athujen has shown the doppelganger kaiju that it is NOT okay to harm his friends. Satisfied with his inflicted payback, Athujen's simple mind calms down a bit. He roars, then rips a building from its base. The behemoth raises it high overhead, then hurls it down hard towards Zilla's side...

Instinctively, Dopplezilla rolls aside the moment the building leaves Athujen's claw, avoiding to be hit and crushed under the flying structure. The crash of the building once again covers a fair part of the area in flying dust, the perfect cover. Lenghtening his sharp claws and stabbing them into the earth, the Doppelganger makes his way underground. The time has come. With a swipe of his tail, he closes the entrace to tunnel he's digging.
Athujen awaits until the dust clears, and once again he sees that his opponent has disappeared. Remembering the trick, he stands on alert aware of the minimum noise. Minutes pass, yet no sound is heard, and Athujen wonders if the other monster left. All of a sudden, the earth some meters behind him explodes outwards, a roar following it. Athujen turns around, and takes in the sight before him with wide, surprised eyes.
Doppelzilla is there, staring back at him with his sneer back in place, hovering some meters above the ground thanks to a pair of just-developed, green dragonfly-like wings. He brings up his arms, showing his claws. The both of them show the scales covering them lifting up and down, whose movements turn both hands into a pair of huge stingers. Courtesy of Athujen's 'friends': one is a Bullet Ant's, the other a Tarantula Hawk's. The shapeshifter makes a sudden charge with his wings bringing him to the other monster in instants. Each stinger is painfully stabbed into the respective shoulder, delivering the insects's venom. Athujen lets loose a low moan, withness to the burning pain his body's experiencing at the moment. Doppelzilla takes the stingers out, morphing them back into claws and watching his opponent suffer the same pain he endured with glee. Unfortunately for him, his being a plant makes Athu resistant to poison, so the monster's suffering from the stings is short-lived.
Taking to the skies once more, Doppelzilla ascends a fair distance, makes a dive and speeds towards the tree monster barely a couple hundred meters above the ground, arm morphed into a blade once more. He comes towards Athujen at frightening speed and surpasses him, the blade slicing the wooden terror's side in the process. Sap flows abundantly out, staining the earth below Athujen.
As Doppelzilla makes a turn and comes again to finish the job of cutting the other monster apart, Terrible Tree Terror's ready to receive him. His tail makes a strong and lucky hit, and whacks the reptile straight in the neck when he's barely at reach. The hit mixed with his own speed sends the shapeshifter flying away for a good distance. The blue saurian hits the ground with a painful thud.
As Doppelzilla's wings retract back into his body, he gets up. His eyes glow with eerie green flames, pure hatred radiating from them. He rises to a standing position. Then, a big, gaping maw full of teeth opens on his abdomen, as two more reveal themselves on his palms. All his four maws let loose a deafening roar that shakes the earth. Athujen warches as they begin gathering energy, which looks yellow at first, but soon turns to a bright, fiery green. Three..two..one. all of the shapeshifter maws launch forth a huge jet of green fire, the four blasts meeting to form a massive line of devilish flames that hits Athujen's entire front. The blast knocks him several hundreds of meters back, and there Athujen remains, thrashing about trying to make the flames go away. This time, he screams in utter agony, as the skin on his chest, arms, front legs and even some of his face begins to painfully melt.
Satisfied from executing payback, Doppelzilla calms down a bit and retreats his other three maws. As last attack, his tail elongates until its three times longer and a big, spiked club-like appendage sprouts at the end. The weapon descends towards Athujen, intent on turning him into billions of chopsticks....

fyi to our ref, decided that as a mutation, since he developed a mind, I'm sure Athujen could have developed some sort of form of a nervous system. Don't think he'll entirely properly feel pain, but he should feel it. I gave CD the okay to say Athujen is in pain in his post.
Athujen grabs the tail, wielding "focus energy" to grab it without harm. With great might, the titan brings the tail down both fast and hard upon a knee. The "crack" noise brings a surge of pain through Doppelzilla's backside; his tail now bent at an angle. The lizard retrieves his tail and scurries back a few steps, howling in surprise as much as pain. Athujen roars an extended low moan at the enemy. Doppelzilla launches a glowing green fireball, to which Athujen sidesteps then rushes in. He grabs his antagonist's upper jaw then slowly rakes the dull edge of an elbow protrusion against the throat of the kaiju, giving blood an opening to leak down the chest. The dull edge creates a very sore pain awareness. Such a simple act, yet so effective. Doppelzilla pounces, getting Athujen on the ground. He tries to bite Terrible Tree Terror's face off, but Athujen moves his head appropriately to avoid each lunge. Athujen rolls to get Doppelzilla on his back so he may stand, and slam a wooden hoof down on the injured and bent point of Doppelzilla's still-elongated tail, squeezing blood from the harmed area and pulling out another shriek of pain from the Zilla's mouth. Doppelzilla gets to his feet, but instead of receding, he retaliates. Forming his right hand into a doppelganger version of Athujen's own, Doppelzilla fires off splinters to impact the milky bark that was Athujen's stomach. Athujen roars in recognition of the pain to his melted body. He brushes off the splinters, pushing away the gooey substance in the meantime. Athujen grabs Doppelzilla and raises him overhead, then tosses him into a plaza of office buildings with vigor, and building up momentum...

Doppelzilla smashes head-first into the building, knocking it down. He grunts at the throbbing in his head as the whole building comes down. He rises up and shakes the rubble off himself, glaring at Athujen's towering form. Then, for a split second his eyes shift to look at the ground, then back up to the other monster, his toothy sneer back in place. He opened his jaws, and a long, screeching roar left his throat, echoing all around the area. Athujen rears back a bit, shielding his head, resenting the pure ear-grinding nature of the sound. Then, Dop stops with his lament.
Everything is silent, and when Athujen looks up, he sees his opponent just standing, with his sneer back in place. All of a sudden, the ground between the two monsters comes alive with live. Earth starts moving in many places all around, like something small, when compared to the monsters, is coming out of the ground. Athujen's shocked when he sees that, making their way out of the ground are giant Bullent Ants! A great number of them comes out of the ground, and they just stand and stare at him. From the tunnels they created, comes out a swarm of Tarantula Hawks, and they too hover in mid-air, looking at him. They make their way towards him, and Athu just stares at them. He feels happ that he has new friends, but there's...something off with them. They crawl all over him, yet they do not enter the nests, they just wait to be all settled on him.
Athu is too occupied with these strange new creatures to see Doppelzilla give a slight nod with his head, fangs bared in a sneer. In that moment, all the new insects at once, drive their higly poisonous stingers in TTT's body, and the ants also begin to bite into him. Athujen moans in slight pain and most of all shock, after all this can be seen as a little betrayal. He jerks about, his own ants coming out to chase the intruders. As the ants fall to the ground and the wasps take to the skies again, they change. Their skin becomes blue, their limbs develop claws and their heads become reptile-like. Doppelzilla's spawn made itself known. He had laid the eggs the second time he burrowed, before erupting out with his wings.
The half-breed spawn stands there, challenging their parent's opponent. Athu's so caught up in them that he fails to see a green fireball aimed to him. He's hit straight in the face, then the clawed hands of Doppelzilla grasp his own, immobilizing him. Then the doppelganger's brood launches themselves at Athujen, slashing, biting, and spitting fire.
Athujen moans in agony, but in an effort of desperation he manages to push Doppelzilla away from him and to shrug off his brood swinging his tail around. The other monster stares at him, eyes blazing green. He takes a couple steps back, then he rears up, spreading his arms. His scales begin to move and model his body; Arms become bigger, body sturdier, a double pair of arms and legs sprouts, and the skin takes on a brownish color. The remained spawn put on their complete disguise and fly back to their parent, occupying spaces that were meant for them.
Athujen stares in shock. Before him, there's...himself! He sees like his reflection in front of him, staring back. But that stare has none of his childlike personality and simplety. Those eyes are full of rage, rancor and hatred. The Doppel-Athujen sneers, a little green flame coming out of his maw. Then he charges. His personal swarm rises up around him, as his colony comes out and holds onto him, ready to jump on the other monster. Both parent's ans spawn's maws open to reveal rows and rows of teeth, ready to have a vegetarian meal.....

Athujen reacts in surprise; he bellows his toxic fumes from his maw while stampeding back, smashing a building with his body in retreat. The sensitizing mist is enough to stop Doppelzilla, but the enemy swarm continues charging. They situate around Athujen's body and start tearing into him. Athujen releases his own friends- winged warriors of the sky and mighty miniature juggernauts from inside his body. While the two sub-creatures fight one another-Athujen's hulking form the battlefield-Athujen moans to warn his lookalike that he's coming in. With a focus punch ready, Athujen punches Doppel's throat wound, causing a gory backwash of inner meat (leftover inner residue from very little spots not yet formed into the bark decking Athujen, the cloned kaiju's body), sap-like blood, copied wood chunks, and violence under the wooden properties the exterior flesh has taken. Doppel stumbles back holding his bloody throat, unable to breath. For once, Doppel's eyes are wide with surprise. Grabbing him by his tail, Athu pulls back Doppelzilla and rotates around before throwing the creature against the ground and watches as the Zilla digs a trench with his skidding body. The jagged concrete as Zilla breaks it, it roughs up his sensitized wooden hide, it skins his bark exterior into a somewhat raw state, and the physical toll Athujen's been taking on Doppelzilla is certainly stepping in (made worse by the gas' induced sensitivity). The gas from previously doesn't help, either; its purpose is working, giving Doppelzilla flu-like symptoms, heightened pain-awareness (making the toss feel more painful and be more damaging than it should have been, etc.).
Athujen's minions return to their places of rest, having warded off the threat scattered about Triple T. For his final attack, Athujen sends powered splinters ("Focus Shards") into Doppel's whole right side. They shred [into] the body's bark and cause a painfully sore awareness to Doppelzilla's mind, adding a distraction. Athujen slams all four fists together, breaking off some splintered pieces of Athu's body (from the knuckles), then picks up Doppelzilla only to toss him into another set of buildings...

Sorry guys, got lost with school and stuff..
Doppelzilla has had it with being thrown around; Concentrating his biomass and the ingested material, he forms his arms into huge muscled limbs, his chest becoming enlarged as well. The rest of his body also takes on a good muscle shape, making him look like a kaiju HUlk. He punches on the building he was going to land on, smashing it like it was made of paper. He lands on his feet, then turns to Athujen, his eyes glowing bright yellow.
With a mighty leap, he lands right in front of Triple T and Seizes him by the neck, bringing him up. He then brings back his fist which, if posible, looks even sturdier than the other "You like to fly?" the fist then glows with Athu's 'Focus Energy' "Then here you go!" WHAM! The fist collides with Athujen's chin in a head-splitting uppercut, and makes the tree monster actually fly up the sky.
Doppelzilla watches him go up for a couple seconds, then he retreats the huge muscles to concentrate the biomass on his back. Once again, he sprouts wings, only this time they're bat-like in shape, and utterly huge. With a leap, Dop is airborne and goes up to meet Athujen, who's just now beginning to descend. The sapphire lizard meets the other monster with enlarged, blade-like claws sank into the other creature's shoulders, and strong flammping of the huge wings bring the two monsters even higher in the sky.
The fighters stare eachother off while suspended in mid-air, the beating of Doppelzilla's wings the only sound heard. That is until Athujen's sky warriors decides to take part into the fight. Rising up again, the swarm came at Doppelzilla, now aiming for his wings. The Doppelganger roars in pain as his wings are mercilessy attacked by the burning stingers. He opens his maw to release his signature green flames to try and chase them, and also small, toothed maws appear on his shoulders. Out of them comes Doppelzilla's wasp Spawn, who quickly engage the other sky warriors in combat.
While the little ones are busy, Dop turns his attention back to Athujen. He opens his maw again, wide, fangs elongating clearly and shining in the light. And those weapons of pain once again fall on Athujen, this time on the left shoulder. Sap erupts into his maw, as he hungrily feeds to regain strenght. As he drinks, his venom enters the tree kaiju once more, effectively paralyzing the monster.
By now, both swarms are finished with their fights, both equally reduced, and they retire into the respective masters. Doppelzilla detaches from his enemy with a satisfied grunt. He can feel the pain in his wings, and he understands that they're not going to be able to hold both monsters for long. Yet, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Looking to Athu, now completely paralyzed, he smirks "Oh, seems you have no ticket. Sorry pal, no clandestines" his claws retreat back, and Athujen begins his great fall down towards the ground, miles below him....

Athujen crashes into the ground; unpleasantly. Cracks are starting to become common around his body. As he gets up (or tries to...still under the effect of the paralysis), he's met with Doppelzilla's green, supernatural flame.
Right on his right shoulder.
The hive transforms into liquid goo, the potential to unleash the swarm falling with the liquid drops. Athujen stares wide-eyed at the once-home to his flighted friends. It's ironic that for the second time, Athujen loses allies in this setting, but spells doom for Doppelzilla, who laughs in the face of his handiwork, as if just performing the action is not mournful enough. Despite the paralyzing substance coursing through him, Athujen gets up, a case of mind over matter. His eyes lose their innocent gleam, fists clench so tight that the bark knuckles split, and in his mind Athujen announces, You will are be make sorry for do that, not-friend. The end of his thought ends the ability for Athujen to even think. Now, the animal inside him takes hold.
Athujen requires nourishment, but just water is not going to do the trick. Trampling forward, Athujen rams left shoulder-first into the grounded Zilla and stampedes him through building after building. Each impact causes Doppelzilla's body to lightly quake. Afterwards, he drops to the ground after being crushed through enough buildings to release the soreness floodgate internally. Punches and slams-induced bruises throb more greater, incisions stinging, Doppelzilla's body feeling wrecked. Athujen drives his tail's tip deep into the recesses of Doppelzilla's body and assimilates his blood to fuel the enraged titan. Once satisfied, Athujen rips his tail out violently and strikes downwards in one fluid motion, making the tail drain and tail whip a single combo-attack (or at least I hope it does.. xP). Doppelzilla groans; he feels light-headed from the excess blood drain. The sharp edges along the tail's side tore through flesh painfully as the appendage exited. With contempt and silence, Athujen raises a foot; his forward right foot. At first his fist channels with focus energy, but in a strange occurrence, the translucent energy travels down to the foot. Doppelzilla has just unlocked a new ability for Athujen (well, really, it's a modification of an already-present ability)- a "Focus Kick." With energy at the part, Athujen slams his foot down into the reptile demon's stomach, forcing the inner organs to shake around (not dislodged or damaged, mind you) and blood to cough out of Doppelzilla's maw like lava from a volcano. Now Athujen takes the opportunity to roar, and he roars an extended, deep moan straight to the heavens. With one more attack to perform, Athujen lifts Doppelzilla up by the back of his neck with one hand. While Doppelzilla faces opposite Terrible Tree Terror, Athujen places his open hand(s) (of the right arms) against Doppelzilla's sides, pressing directly against the skin (or bark, if he's still adapted to Athujen's form), and fires off a volley of missile-like splinters at point-blank range...
