Lord Nosdrah, Emperor of the Dark Element A G A I N S TImperior, Da Pe/\/gl_lin Gl_ly. Arena: Archipelago Ref: LOLJones, HayesA. Intro: Nosdrah steps out of a dimensional rift that's all black and gray cloudy inside, with zombified hands, creepy tentacles, and phantom limbs reach out of to get free. As soon as his last foot steps onto the sandy beach, the portal to the Umbraverse closes. "Ah, back at where it all began for me and this "UCA" group! Pleasant; very pleasant, indeed." Back at UCA headquarters, with a controller at a console turned, his machine suddenly starts beeping and identifies that a kaiju has been approved for battle; Imperior, the penguin guy. He turns to see the commotion; "Huh? I didn't authorize this... Sir!" He calls a superior officer over. "I didn't approve this, did you?" The superior shakes his head. They pinpoint the location of where he is being sent. The Archipelago replica. Checking the area, they detect a second monster's presence. "Whatever's there, obviously wants a fight, and chose Imperior, but I'm not sure how it remotely bypassed our security and put him on the way to teleportation..." Nosdrah waits patiently for his quarry to arrive per his beckoning.

After a short flash of light the mighty 'King of the Frozen Seas' stepped out onto the soft sand of the beach, his great weight shaking the ground as the colossal avian quickly got comfortable with his surroundings. He knew this territory, the giant bird had fought here before, a hard-won battle against a fearsome predator that had almost driven the giant to the limit. He also had the advantage of being near water, taking a few steps towards the ocean to soak the giant webs on the monster's feet. While the water was a little warmer then he enjoyed, it wasn't something a king such as himself bothered to think about for too long.
Turning just in time to see a second flash of light the giant penguin wrenched back his shoulders, popping the titanic joints before tossing his head back and unleashing a call of challenge to any that dared think themselves worthy of his time.
Imperior, icy king of penguins, was ready and waiting, it was not normally wise to let royalty sit for too long.

"I don't know what kind of game you're playing, Nosdrah," roared the Announcer, in a rare instance of addressing a monster directly. "But our very own arctic emperor Imperior will beat some respect into you... so... COMMENCE COMBAT!"

"Ooh! What an interesting creature. It is my pleasure to meet you, Imperior." Nosdrah read the penguin's mind to determine his name. Imperior roars at Lord Nosdrah to assert dominance through the quickly warping battlefield. Writhing tentacles with crimson pupil'd eyeballs inside the suction cups, some with tips split into 2 and some split into three tips with bird beaks on their tips, extend out of the ground. The immediate water surrounding the sizable island turns pitch black, and all while this is happening (per his will), Nosdrah has a fixed grin. "We're here to do battle, so let us commence so long as that's okay with you, friend bird. I give you this gift; the privilege of testing yourself against my greatness." Nosdrah takes the first attack for himself, in the name of his glory. His forearms' skin peels back like banana peels, leaving blood-made replicas. They go through a change, lengthening and forming into blood whips, about 125 meters long. The Dark One lashes out with a whip, which wraps around Imperior's throat. He forcefully pulls it back, sending the arctic emperor spinning just some meters off the ground and landing on his back. Now, for the damage... Nosdrah steps in closer and takes turns raising each whip and slamming it down on the penguin's belly- and against the same spot, too. One by one, the whips take turns snapping against the designated location and crack open flesh, each strike worsening the degree of the wound (which the little sonic booms every whip creates when it's cracked). Each strike draws out trickles of blood, which the site of the liquid makes Nosdrah hungry. After repeated blows, Nosdrah forms the whips back into the shape of his hands and forearms, and the skin reforms and reseals around them. Imperior has a semi-deep, bloody wound in his stomach, but such a strong kaiju can not be hindered by that. As painful as the injury is (a combination of sharp and sore pains), the arctic emperor rights himself onto his fight. His blood starts streaming out of the injury and into Nosdrah's gullet, the vampire deciding to feast. He takes enough to satisfy his senses, then stops his hemokinesis in action. "Mmm...delicious!" Imperior just [silently] reacts with a rush towards the Undeadsman, and a solid right hook to the side of his face. His head jerks sharply, creating a series of snaps as his head rotates almost a full 180 degrees, but with a smile, his head returns to standard position. "A good punch, friend penguin, very solid indeed. Allow me to return the favor." With an electrical orb forming in his hand, Nosdrah calls on the dark thunder of the Balmore dimension, then throws it like a baseball while announcing, "Val Volt!" The dark orb strikes Imperior in the chest wound, reducing the flesh to a crispy, ash-like residue, and speeding up his blood to the point of turning it into an internal furnace. Imperior growls as he suffers internal burns. While that's going on, Nosdrah reaches in and closes his wings-cape around himself and Imperior as he sinks his sharp fangs into the side of Imperior's neck. The Alpha Nosferatu feeds on the hot blood, taking the temperature as a seasoning. He assimilates it with the utmost delight, leaving Imperior in pain all inside his body, as well as particularly at the side of his neck.
Once the spell runs its course, Nosdrah has fed enough, and pushes Imperior back, out from the safety of inside the cape (which Nosdrah keeps folded down). He licks his lips and fangs clean of the blood staining them, announcing afterwards, "I do like it spicy once in a while." Then, "You have been given a great honor, one of the greatest, by feeding me with your ichor. You should be proud, bird," follows next. Imperior just grunts, all while shaking his head to ward off the daze from blood loss. Next for Nosdrah, maws start pushing out of his cape, and send orbs of dark energy homing in on Imperior in the form of his "Dark Inferno" spell/attack, engineered to burn the physical, the mental, and the spirit...

The giant was a little stunned, for the creature's thin body shape and design it proved to be quite a bit stronger then Imperior first expected. That was not a mistake he would make twice. As the penguin narrowed his eyes at the strange bat like kaiju, it seemed to be charging some sort of powerful attack, one that would no doubt hurt. Not really caring to feel the vampire's sting this early, Imperior took in a shark break and unleashed a cannon shot from his throat, a hyper-dense ball of ice flying through the air almost too fast to see. The shot crashed into the monster's chest, knocking it down to the ground long enough for the massive bird to march over to him.
Imperio then reached down, grabbing the neck of his foe in one hand and the monster's feet in the other. More or less ignoring the cuts and scraps he gained from Nosdrah's flailing claws as the gnarled limbs marked his chest with streams of blood. The penguin was far too versed in the ways of carnage for such scratches to draw his eyes. Then with a squawk the avian pulled the skeletal vampire down while bringing his bony knee up, mashing it squarely into the middle of the bat's back. Nearly bending the offending kaiju in half, though Imperior wasn't expecting a shadowy arm to flash out from the cloak like wings to try and choke him.
Instinctively dropping the being before the limb could get a grip, he let the bat fall once more to the ground, but the frozen king wouldn't let things just be. Raising a foot he stomped the chest of the vampire, using his immense weight as he pressed down, causing the bat to sink into the ground. Luckily the monster didn't need to breath or the kaiju's lungs might have exploded from teh raw force. Imperior followed this up by another stomp, followed by a third and then the monster jumped up before slamming both feet and all his tons down into the vampire, who was now little more then a crater in the ground. Finishing off his thrashing combo, Imperior spun about and used his fluke like tail to crack the crater wide open, leaving the battered foe kaiju laying stunned across the ground.
Taking this moment Imperior loomed over the vampire and took in another breath, aiming a point blank snow-cannon shot right at the undead thing's muzzle, clearly intending to take the beast's head clean off.

A wisp of shadow turns into a hand and catches the snowball, to Imperior's surprise. He's starting to take into account the bag of tricks Nosdrah carries at his disposal. The hand crushes the ice ball, then solidifies into a crystalline material. From the solidified arm, shards of sharp, cold shadows rocket into the penguin's neck, some embedding against the flesh and soaking up the tears of blood, some punching through and coming to rest against the inner wall of Imperior's throat. The "crystal" arm does not stop until all of its structure is fired off as umbra shrapnel. By the end, Imperior stumbles back, contending with the pain for the most part, but still bleeding.
Nosdrah licks his lips at the seeping meal before him, but controls his hunger for the time being.
"Good, you're willful. I like that in an opponent. We'll conduct a great orchestra yet, you and I, with our battle."
Imperior roars, his cry a little gurgled from the injury, but he keeps his posture and his will to fight. Imperior rushes forward and starts by ramming into Nosdrah's uncaped front, and ending with a strong right hook to the face. Nosdrah laughs in the face of violence, considering the element a close personal friend of his.
"You wanna see pain, avian? You wanna feel it grip your skin? Then let me arrange it."
Nosdrah reaches his bony hand out and grips the throat of the mighty avian with the touch of a wraith. Nosdrah absorbs the lifeforce of Imperior, leaving an arctic chill behind as the absorption occurs. The fact that life is being drained from such an injured point, makes it feel even more grim. At the same time as this is happening, Nosdrah's jaw drops 50 meters and releases the most ear-curdling scream of all time. His cry of a banshee bursts Imperior's eardrums, leading him to become off balance for a bit after The Lord of the Undead unhands him. The blood that weeps from the ears is drawn into Nosdrah's mouth by hemokinesis, but not his open maw; this maw opened up at his thigh. Imperior's mind is thrown into a frenzy by the ultra high-pitched frequency being blasted in his face.
Then, the attacks end.
Nosdrah tosses Imperior to the side like trash, and his jaws slowly close shut. Imperior is in a daze with a pounding migraine, loss of balance, ringing in his ears. With him downed, Nosdrah's thigh maw stretches into a length and comes down to bite a chunk out of Imperior's back...

Alerted by the sudden chewing sensation in the area of his back, the bird shot up to his full height, thrashing back and forth until he managed to dislodge the vampire. Angered the battle scarred bird spun around as fast as he could, which was just slightly faster then a crawl. By the time he did he got a lash streaking across his lower jaw, curling under his left eye and creating a trench across the back of his skull.
If the penguin had been angry before, he was enraged now, locking eyes with the other kaiju before. Pulling back a hefty arm and striking at the creature's head just as it opened it's mouth to try and bite into Imperior once more. All Nosdrah could do was bite down on the limb, sinking his fangs into Imperior's forearm. Glaring at the bat Imperior used his greater weight to shove his body forwards, building up speed until he took Nosdrah off his feet, powering right over to a rock formation where the penguin shifted all his weight into the fist, charging forwards to deliver a massive punch, slamming the back of the bat's head into the formation hard enough to send cracks running all through it.
Too stubborn, both sides were unwilling to let go of each other. So Imperior simply kept on punching, pulling back his fist to smash Nosdrah's head again and again into the rock until the formation gave in to the two titans, falling over into shambles.
Finally the vampire let go, falling to his knees just in time to be hit by Imperior's tail in a sort of golf-ball swing that sent the undead flying high into the sky before crashing into the ocean with a thunderous splash. At that height and those speeds, hitting the ocean in this manner would be more devastating then crashing into the solid earth.
With a small grunt Imperior started his march out to the water, at first he started off slow, but almost as soon as the waves reached his waist the avian dived in and the slow ponderous tyrant of ice-flows 'transformed' into a speedy and graceful swimmer. Streaming through the water he quickly caught up in no time at all as Nosdrah was heading for the surface. Like a torpedo the penguin was aimed right at the struggling 'Lord of Darkness' to use his weight in a massive slam, now in his own domain the bird was an even greater threat to his foe.

From eight opened eyes just below the base of his neck, Nosdrah sees the oncoming underwater bullet. Nosdrah wraps his cape tight around his body to provide "cushion", so that as Imperior rams into his back now, the blow is lessened by the organic armor. It is still forceful enough to rock the vampire's body, however.
"With you down here with me, why change places? Let's try this from your perspective, you overgrown hummingbird. Let's play in your playground. After all, when I best you with my preconditioned authority over every living being, doing it in your element will make it all the more memorable."
Imperior just huffs under the ocean's surface, bubbles exiting his beak. Nosdrah's tail cracks open at the tip so that a hemokinetic propeller can replace the end. His back grows a shark's fin, his claws and toes become webbed, and his forearms grow fins on the side. Mostly to humor himself, Nosdrah takes on an aquatic adaption.
In the spirit of being underwater, home to such marine life as a squid, a whale, a shark, Nosdrah decides to go with an attack that retains the spirit of the location. While the two hover with distance separating them, Nosdrah holds up an arm while his hand spreads open. Suddenly, Imperior feels a force grab him other than his consciousness. Now Nosdrah clenches his claws into a fist, and upon command, a blade slices through Imperior's stomach, one in the shape of a shark's fin. Nosdrah extends his index and middle finger and moves them in an uncoordinated movement, controlling the "shark's fin" and tracing it along an unplanned path across Imperior's body. His own blood in the form of a blade slices deeply across the chest a few times, down the stomach, back, thighs, everywhere (from inside)! Imperior roars in distress, but takes the pain like the champion he is. His blood muddies the waters, turning them murky scarlet. Damage done, Nosdrah calls off the "shark inside Imperior".
Now, Nosdrah tears open his own stomach and holds it open; from the bloodless, black void, a number of four-pronged grappling hooks escape and pierce through Imperior's chest, thighs, and shoulders. They pull back, except this time the prongs are out, so they penetrate the body from the inside and hook the penguin behemoth. The Nosferatu reels in his catch, but once Imperior is 15 meters away, shadows start pulling him in the opposite direction while the prongs keep pulling, creating resistance to render the flesh further. Nosdrah starts to lash out with his sharp claws, reducing Imperior's face to a bloody, shredded pulp. Once the two are engulfed by a cloud of murky blood, Nosdrah stops and sucks it all in. He violently rips out the prongs too, calling them back into his stomach and shutting it, letting it seal up like nothing happened to the appendage. Imperior floats backwards, still bleeding from large holes. To close his turn out, Nosdrah sends twin javelins of Assassin Eyes for the penguin's bruised and bloody chest wound (via the whips)...

Though cut up and diced, Imperior was not a monster known to give up, he would gladly fight until his own death or the end of time, whichever came sooner. The bird simply swam up and out of the way, using his tail to knock aside the lance like weapons with ease. The penguin noted that his foe had taken on a more water worthy form, nothing Imperior really thought about for too long.
Nosdrah was on the attack once more, swooping behind his foe to rake Imperior across the bird's muscled back and shoulders, clouding the water with a red haze. However, in his own element Imperior was no longer all that slow. Like lightning he spun about and delivered a massive uppercut to Nosdrah's lower jaw, sending one or two fangs spinning off into the depths from the force of the impact. This was followed up by a headbutt to the vampire's snout, forcing the foe monster to fall back and hiss in rage. Then came a monstrous swat of Imperior's tail, sweeping upwards it shot the battered and broken bat up out of the water, exploding into the fresh sea air.
Quickly the bat opened his wings, not wanting another splashdown like the one he suffered before. But just as the vampire began to right himself in the air, the penguin shot up towards him. Imperior even managed to pass the flying monster by. Flipping about to engage the flightless monster, Nosdrah saw only too late that Imperior was just over him and the bird's beak was frost covered. The impending snow cannon cracked right into the vampire's left wing, easily damaging the fragile construct and making it hard for Nosdrah to stay in the air at all.
Imperior then started to fall, interlocking his taloned hands the bird raised them over his head and then struck down with all his might as he reached his enemy. Combined with the momentum of the fall and Imperior's natural strength, the clash sounded like thunder, a heavy boom traveled out over the sea-scape. Nosdrah was sent hurtling down like a bullet, almost moving too fast to see as his lithe form crash hard into the unforgiving surf, wracking his body with another titanic hit. Dazed, confused and bruised, the bat drifted up to the surface, barely taking note of a dark shadow that focused down on his form, it seem that Imperior had yet to complete his fall and he was making sure he had a very nice landing-pad when he did come down.

Imperior passes through nothing but shadows; that is what Nosdrah altered his physical into. Nosdrah's symbol, the crimson wide eye, takes form among the oil-like blackness surrounding Imperior, acting like tar and keeping him in place. Wide mouths open up in psychotic smiles, their long tongues tracing along Imperior's above-water waist. The feeling of the slimy touch disgusts the Emperor of the Seas.
At this moment, long insect-like thin arms tipped with meat-hooks roar from the ocean and sink themselves all the way into their designated hit points. There's one in Imperior's right shoulder, torn through nerves and muscle, two (from above and below) hooked into the left breast, one in the stomach, and several inside both legs. From within, they turn into meatgrinders, and they go to work thrashing what's inside the penguin (and absorbing blood through pores). From behind Imperior, a small bell-shaped weight attached to a long chain shoots out to complete the attack. After hitting a thousand meters high in the air, it loops and free-falls, coming down with momentum against Imperior's forehead, breaking open skin with a light spray and cracking the skull. The grinders reform into smooth tendril tips and slide out of the injuries, releasing Imperior so he may drop into the sea.
Imperior is caught up in an umbra net, pulled to shore by Nosdrah himself before Imperio can drift too far. Imperior is too disoriented to wonder how Nosdrah went from clawing into him to being on the beach, but such tricks are what make Nosdrah, well, Nosdrah! Imperior gets to his feet and rushes in to punch the Undeadsman in the gut. Nosdrah recoils, not from pain, but for the fun in acting. The Lord of the Undead summons some minions; his choice the lowest of the low- zombies.
"My scumbags, do what you do best to this unworthy creature, and hurry; I haven't got all day. Get out here!"
Four zombies finish crawling through the sand from nowhere and rush to Imperior, landing punches and shoulder rams while one has the bird in a headlock. Their putrid touch does as expected- it rots the live monster's skin, creates a burning pain like a chemical burn would, but to make things grave, the headlock infects the open throat wound, reducing it to a sore, tender, soggy puss mess. The pain of an infection takes over the throat. Now, after strong-arming and bruising up the bird, the zombies crawl back into the ground to the Umbraverse upon the words from their master, "Your job is done, now get back to the others and come back only if I command it, scum." Nosdrah chuckles while he examines his minions' handiwork.
All over the penguin kaiju' body are bruises, the product of undead strength, and burns appearing like they were chemically-iduced. In a way, they can be chemical burns, with the way the dead's skin affects living tissue, corrupting it and all. For now, Imperior holds his pained throat and coughsup a vile myriad of puss an blood. In just two attacks, The King of the Dark Element hs affected Imperior like he is. Absolutely satisfyig to He, the first of his kind.
Now, the Lord ejects bats from a bat-shaped void i his chest- bats straight from his dark heart. There is a whole mess of them, great in numbers. They all swarm around Imperior, taking him in their talons and mouths, lifting him in the air while scratching at his body with sharp wing, before dropping him 600 meters above the island that the two entities fight on. Nosdrah manipulates his shadows to form a thick cloud of hot, sun-baked sand right below Imperior- one to pass through when he impacts. The penguin passes through as planned, spearing through condensed sand and being covered by it entirely, and hits the sold ground with an echoing "thud".
The blood-quenched bats return to their source- Nosdrah's backened heart. By being assimilated back ino the thin gentleman, their suctioned blood becomes one with his body. n just that third attack, the bats pierced Imperior's body to create small wound, the wounds themselves sting from becoming tainted by hot sand, and the crah itself sends signals traveling through the nerves and down his spine. Nosdrah just brushes off his injuries; as serious as a few are, he treats them like nothing. To him, they are nothing; nothing to an undead entity incapable of feeling pain through the dead nerves of his body, his deceased organs merely thereinside his body for decoration. Now, the shadows gather a vast amount of water, shaped into the form of an extenive tidal wave with sikes sticking out of the wall of it, which is coming down hard to crash against Imperior's body, ready to cut into him with the held-togther water spikes...

Pulling his arms up, the giant avian took the brunt of the wave, gaining a number of cuts and slices across his form. When it was over he pulled down his arms and cracked his neck, not all that impressed in spite of how torn up the bird was.
Imperior then moved forwards, quickly crashing into Nosdrah at the shoulder and sending him skidding across the ground. As he was down the penguin stomped up and yanked the thin thing off the ground, grabbing the vampire's own arm before shoving it first first into his own maw, forcing the beast to swallow his own limb all the way to the elbow. Imperior continued to force the limb, almost breaking it, but Nosdrah stopped him by using his wings as blades and slicing across the big bird's chest, forcing him to back off for a second. But that didn't stop him for long, bringing his tail into the battle the heavy fluke crashed into the lower jaw of the monster, forcing it to rip into his own body and send the monster flying back into a bed of spike shaped rocks.
Never one to let his foe stay unclobbered for too long, Imperior marched over and snapped two of the large stones from the ground before using them to spear Nosdrah's wings, pinning him in place like a butterfly. The penguin then began to savagely stomp hos foe, slamming him deeper into the sand until the creature's ribs were threatening to snap from the raw tonnage. But on the last stomp Nosdrah pulled his arm from from his maw and managed to flip the bird onto his back.
But as Nosdrah slowly pulled himself free from the rocks, Imperior managed to stand up faster before leaping at him, doing a full force elbow drop to the vampire's head, sending shards of teeth and fang in all directions.
Then the bird stood up once more, his beak icing over as he aimed a nasty little snowball to further mangle the battered bat's body.
