The pulse of energy was enough to send Behemoth flying off his feet, blasting his rocky shell in the process. Though hurt by Plumb's unexpected counterattack, the titan was quick to roll to his feet, snorting in hatred as he did so. Several pillars of sharp stone exploded from the ground at his command, floating beside him in the air. Morphing into crude spears, the makeshift weapon were sent hurtling in Plumb's direction, their finely pointed ends stabbing deep into Plumb's flesh. In mere seconds, the heroic reptile resembled a living pincushion, stony spears sticking out of his hide at every angle.
The spears suddenly exploded upon command! Several shards of stone burrowed deep into Plumb's body and skin, and the force of the explosions widened the wounds, spilling dozens of bloody chucks on the forest floor doing so.
The lava pool behind the fighters had began to cool, hardening into obsidian. Behemoth's powers quickly took hold of this new mineral, and hundreds of small but sharp obsidian shards began hurtling towards the heroic lizard like a wall of broken glass. Plumb covered his head with his arms as shard after shard zipped past him, slicing small but numerous wounds across his entire body and spilling yet more blood to the ground. The enraged stone monster roared, a pyroclastic flow exploding from his open jaws, barreling down upon the bleeding Plumb...

Although the blood of the human-loving hero crisscrossed the ground in oozing streams, Plume was not about to be blasted so easily.
His flushed sail danced with the flames of the sun for a moment, and then the bloodied lizard reared to unleash a solar ray with a high, whining screech. The golden lance of light snapped the pyroclastic blast in half, parting its heat and igniting its churning gases. Leaping forward with a slam of his hefty tail, Plume charged through the cleaved flow of volcanic essence, running towards Behemoth headfirst. The gigantic golem was caught off guard by such a direct rush and could only staggered backwards as his lithe foe jumped up and brought a clenched fist possessed with golden energy down upon his skull. The hard fist spread its power with a series of thick cracks, the sun's fury shining up from the fissures in Bemeoth's stony head as they spread like vicious spiderwebs. Solid rock parted with clouds of dust and gem-green wisps as the horned skull cratered in some.
His cranium nearly shattered like a geode struck by a hammer, skull leaking emerald essence, the great living mountain hollered angrily and lurched forward, trying to spear Plume on the razor-tip of his horn. Pressing an open palm against the horn and rolling away, the G.A.K.F. fighter moved from the charging earth beast's path and retaliated fast as lighting. Channeling solar energy to his arms, the trained fighting reptile lashed out with glowing claws. The charged talons raked against borrowed flesh, slashing over Behemoth's rocky body and leaving behind deep gashes that bled slag and sparks. Plume's arms worked in a blurred pinwheel as he diced away at the stony skin, cutting deeper and deeper each time, until green mist joined his golden fire. Snarling in rage, Behemoth whipped his tail up like a great earthen scorpion and caught Plume in the skull. Head slinging back with a hissing gasp and a splash of blood, the basilisk nearly collapsed. But instead of toppling, the lizard used his backwards momentum to spin around and deliver his own tail blow, the enormous appendage striking along Behemoth's weakened side and throwing up 'gore' of dust and rock chips. Already thrown off balance by the weight of his own tail, the massive golem teetered, then fell, shattering the forest and with his girth. The huge thing's howls of anger rang far and wide.
Stopping his spin with a earth-crushing stomp, Plume trumpeted shrilly before launching up like a green, scaly bird of prey. All his fins bright with power, the charged lizard came down like a living solar bomb, webbed feet trained on the fallen form of Behemoth...

The brightly glowing body of Plumb continued its decent like a living meteor, but was intercepted as great pillar of stone exploded from the ground, smashing into the hero like a giant cue stick. The blunt edge crammed itself into his gut, knocking the wind out him and punting the kaiju nearly two hundred meters into the air.
The massive form of Behemoth rightened to his feet as Plumb crashed into the forrest beside him. Twisting about with a bellow of rage, the heavyweight slammed his forefeet into his opponent's back, earning a cry of pain from the lizard as his spine creaked and strained under Behemoth's immense weight. The hero was quick to strike back, slapping his tail into the side of Behemoth's head. Stones and rocky debris fell from the giant's head, but the damage only fuelled the titan's anger. Stomping off the lizard before him, the giant opened his jaws as a pyroclastic flow burst forth, searing scales from flesh and burning Plumb's body black, a thick coat of ash settling over his back.
The giant rose upon his hind legs, howling into the skies as his feet once again came down to further pulverize Plumb's back...

Able to think fast because of his G.A.K.F. training, Plume pushed through the pain and flares his dorsal sail. The webbed fin flashed with golden light as it raised, and this hot essence was flung off the flushed sail as it opened. Forming a hot blade of ionized air and pure sun essence, the golden energy impacted Behemoth's exposed underbelly like the blunt edge of an axe. The rocky giant is slammed by the solar force, and his stone belly cracked and splintered in a brilliant burst. The great brute snarled in rage as he is pushed back into the air some. The borrowed body of the Earth titan still came down upon Plume, but the lizard's preemptive strike ruined both his speed ad aim. Only one foot meets the reptile's green flesh, and at a fraction of the force he intended for the obnoxious hero. The creature's weight was massive, and Plume whined in pain, but he was now able to counterattack instead of only writhe.
The G.A.K.F. fighter thrusts up will all his might. Behemoth's foot slipped from Plume's shoulder- taking a broad flap of flesh with it, much to Plume's shrill dislike as a squeal left him- and the best's belly was struck again, this time by the entire rear area of the lizard. Behemoth howled angrily as the cracks in his stomach and torso deepen, his tremendous body briefly balanced atop Plume's shoulders like Atlas lifting the Earth. Then, with no warning or ceremony, he was dumped off, Plume teetering and allowing the stony brute to slide off. The Earthen beast cratered the tropical soil and rolled onto his back.
Rising from his kneels and shaking his head briefly, Plume focused on Behemoth's damaged underside with narrowed eyes. Springing forward like a gymnastic preparing for a cartwheel, the lithe lizard threw himself into a great front flip and came down hard on top of Behemoth. Were he flesh and blood, the air would have been pulverized from his lungs as Plume's tail and backside shattered his underbelly, the branching cracks and fissures reaching his very emerald core. Green mist wafted around the hero's body as shards of stone rained upon the surrounding jungle. Behemoth howled with all the rage of a hurricane, and Plume combated the bellow with a high pitched trumpet. Rolling off and landing on his feet, Plume dug a heel into the ground and whirled, the opposite heel coming down towards Behemoth's brutalized belly in a earth-shaking kick...

The mountain-like beast let out an angered grunt as the kick connected, shattering stones on impact. A harsh growl escaped Behemoth's throat. He lashed out with sup rising speed, latching his beak-like jaws around Plume's left arm. With a brutal tug, Behemoth tore away from his opponent, ripping a long strip of flesh off of the lizard's arm, from his elbow down to his wrist. The quadruped's tail followed up the attack, cracking against the lizard's skull and sending flooring the giant. Blood from newly delivered picture wounds dripped down from his head. Plume attempted to rise to his feet, dazed by the blow.
A massive mountain of stone rose from the ground behind the two fighters, splitting apart to form several smaller ones. It was morphing, transforming into a massive stone fist, large enough to grab and hold another kaiju. Its rocky fingers curling into a fist, the stone goliath delivered a powerful punch, slamming Plume between the massive fist and the earth. The impact was huge, enough to crater the ground and send nearby trees flying with the force of the resulting shockwave. Even the construct's creator was having a hard time standing his ground, digging his feet into the earth to avoid being thrown off his feet.
The rocky fist soon crumbled into sand, revealing a crushed and bleeding G.A.K.F fighter. Though Plume would be given no mercy from the wrathful earthen monstrosity. Behemoth charged the wounded hero, hoping to gore him with his horn while the hero was down.

As the monstrous golem thundered towards the downed hero, Plume showed no sign of movement. The only motion from the flattened reptile was the sluggish flow of the blood that trickled down his crushed body in a red spiderweb pattern. Behempth bellowed loudly, trying to wake the human-lover so that he could put up a proper fight before he died. He wanted his victim to face the end sitting up! The stony brute crushed earth, rock, and tree under his broad footfall as he stampeded down into the crater that held Plume, the sudden slope not impeding his speed any. He was like a train or batter ram- huge, powerful, unstoppable. Nothing could cease his charge. Not the hero or the universe or the UCA themselves! He would pierce the hero's heart with his horn!
As Behemoth came within a hundred meters of Plume, he let his hooked jaw fall open with a rolling roar that would pierce through even death to be the last thing the lizard would ever hear, his horn lowered to run the basilisk through...
... and a sound that Plume responded to by raising his hefty tail and slapping the earth.
Tail slap catapulting him up like a great inhuman gymnast, the G.A.K.F. monster flipped over the rampaging titan! Behemoth snarled furiously as the lizard twirled from his view, but his eyes soon went wide as he spied the golden glow that flooded from the cracked earth just before his lowered horn.
Plume had never been helpless. He had been channeling the rays of the sun into the ground, turning the shattered soil beneath him- the entire crater- to a vast bomb! And now Behemoth was helpless but to pierce its center with his horn! The momentum was too great, he could not stop!
BOO-OOOM!
Both the golem and the reptile were caught in the blast, each slammed by the tonnage of the explosion and flung away like chess pieces in the hands of a madman. Plume, aware and prepared for the coming eruption, had curled into a ball and minimized the damage to his green form, although he cried out with something swung out and caught his shoulder- the spiked tail of Behemoth. Something in the lizard's shoulder gave, and a dull crack! resonated from it. Keeping his coiled shape even through the wrenching pain, Plume hit the ground hard and rolled, unfurling like a bat as he bounced. The hero skidded across the earth, claws digging into the bare tropical soil- much of the jungle vegetation had been vaporized in the detonation.
Rising slowly to a kneel, Plume whined shrilly, a hand clasped firmly around his bloodied shoulder. It had been dislocated at the least. And although the lizard had never broken a collarbone, he bet it felt something like this. Claws still wrapped around the displaced shoulder, Plume shakily rose to his feet, orange eyes scanning the blasted earth. The crater that Behemoth had punched into the green landscape had almost doubled in size, the broken earth now scorched and black instead of just pummeled. And there, near the edge of the destruction, was the earth titan himself. The rock monster was turned upside down and groaning, his side and underbelly fractured deeply, nearly cracked open. A fine emerald mist surrounded him like the cloak of the reaper, his life essence leaking like water. Not only had the earthen monstrosity lacked the knowledge of the trap, he had been in its very nucleolus- the heart of the volcano. While Plume had been a few monsterlengths away, Behemoth had no such luxury. He had taken the entire brunt if the blast, quite literally headbutting a solar landmine. And it showed. The once glorious giant's borrowed body was worn and degraded, reduced to slag in some places and mere dust in other. Fissures were his main companion now, his husk showing more cracks and crags than undamaged areas.
And Plume wasn't done yet.
Swallowing his suffering and slamming the ground with his heavy tail once again, the heroic reptile flung himself at the flipped Behemoth. His lengthy tail heaved up again as he arced down at the stone monster, its finned tip pointed down over his head like a scorpion's stinger. The great tail was thrown down and struck Behemoth's broken belly like a blunt arrow, bludgeoning its way into the interior of the rock beast. The stone brute began howling. He could feel no pain from feeble physical attacks, but he certainly could feel his core being robbed of its energy! Plume was absorbing him like a snack! The outraged golem began to thrash, and his dangerous flailing tail forced Plume to back away before he could draining the beast completely. But he had taken enough.
Enough for one last blow!
Fists enveloped in green mist, the most beloved monster of Earth H-594 leapt up and dropped towards the exposed underside of Behemoth like an emerald star. The lizard slammed together his claws into a single, blazing shape. Falling like a hammer, the entwined talons landed upon Behemoth like a comet! The golem's stone stomach broke and fell in under the assault by its own energy, and the mountainous creature was all but gutted as Plume folded over him, fists buried in shattered rubble and a screech of sheer effort leaving his open jaws as the last tremors of what he truly hoped was the winning blow left his clenched digits...

With that final blow, the voice of the UCA blasted through the forest, "CEASE FIRE! THE WINNER IS... PLUME! I REPEAT, PLUME IS THE WINNER! YOU MAY RETURN TO YOUR QUARTERS NOW!"
(OOC: Talk about a LONG match in both senses of the phrase. Both fighters dished out the pain by a wide margin, but Plume' slast few hits sealed the deal. He just hit a tad bit harder.)

The stone giant was silent, the announcers words still ringing in his ears. His great feet shook the earth with each massive step as Behemoth moved towards his reptilian foe. As he reached the heroic fighter, the hulking god slowed to a stop.
To Plume's surprise, Behemoth's next act was not one of aggression or anger. Instead, the rocky creature simply nodded in acknowledgement of his defeat.
"You are a worthy fighter," a rough, gravely voice entered Plume's mind. "And for that... you have my respect."
It seemed he had no more to say. The mountainous giant turned away, vanishing in a flash of light as he did so.

Behemoth's exit initiated the start of Plume's traditional victory ceremony- a happy, bouncing dance.
Sunbeams launched from the lizard's jaws in celebration as he frolicked about, relishing his victory with canine-like glee. Won, won, won! He'd won! He had won and made his human friend-masters happy. He enjoyed making his friend-masters happy, even if they were worlds away.
As the heroic reptile pranced and leaped, a golden light fell from the sky and whisked him away. Bragging was an allowed pleasure at the UCA, but they had matches to carry out. One silly lizard's victory wouldn't clog up a week's worth of fights.
