Captain Toxic screams in absolute, unrefined pain. The damn naga continued to add pressure, his hisses and roars acting like laughter in the face of the backward defender of life. Struggling to remain standing, the hero couldn’t move. His screams amplified even louder when a loud POP came from his ankle. Something gave. He nearly tripped, but the hero had to continue. He had to fight. If he didn’t, he’d be a disgrace. The evil would have won…
Extending his right arm, a surge of green energy form in his palm. The light began to spin, whips of grass green electricity dancing between the saw-like disk and fingers. Throwing his hand down, the weapon sliced into Lagu’s back! The serpent quickly released its hold while screaming in rage, feeling the disk cut through his skin and muscle as if he was made of common toilet paper. Sprays of crimson flew from his stained body before the disk suddenly became sludge and fell into the wound, filling it like a bowl of soup! The thick muck sizzled and steam, burning the flesh it touched.
Wobbling on one foot, the hero managed to back away without applying too much pressure to his wounded ankle. As he gained some distance, his left hand shot up, throwing his spear. The weapon flung through the air with a chain of smoke keeping it attached to its master’s hand. The serrated tip stabbed into the reptile’s chest, making the beast look down. Before it could react, Venturimon launched into the air like a NASA space shuttle. The leaves and dirt under his feet shot outward as he pulled the reluctant serpent into the air.
Swinging his body around, the super hero turned the vicious alien into an oversized wrecking ball… and the trees were its target! The creature cried aloud in agony, eyes wide before its body pancaked one of the largest of trees. Before it could cry again, its body was peeled away and swung again, now his back cratering another tree. The process repeated again and again, each blow sending waves of torturous pain through Lagu. Each impact threatened to shatter its spine and ribcage. Each smash acting like an axe, making the trees sway…
Until the spear plopped out of his chest!
It pulled back into the Garbage Man’s hand with a slurp, vanishing into his palm. As Lagu fell, the hero flew downward, clouds of noxious smoke erupting from his hands and engulfing the flailing demon. The beast began to choke, unable to breath in the black smoke as it began to peel away what little remained of his skin and exposed flesh. Then it all ended for Lagu, at least so everyone thought. The ground raced up to hit him, and hit him it did!
The serpent’s body struck like a meteor, making the ground explode upward around him, thick clouds of dust and dirt suffocating the hero’s smoke. Nearby trees swayed while smaller branches and leaves began to fall…
Hovering above the fallen alien weapon, the hero tilted his head. “Dead yet?”
