Living Quarters:
Rustred shares a space with his constant companion, Arc. Aside from a regeneration tank, a large pile of metal scraps, and a few kaiju-sized Tesla coils, the joint domain is totally barren. Rustred requires little to survive, and can get his kicks outside his quarters. He tends to wander the Hub, searching for excitement, while Arc typically stays behind.
Personality:
For such and ancient and revered being, Rustred is... well, a smug smartass. He's rude, crude, and extremely vain. He calls foes vulgar names, deals out childish insults regularly, and names many of his distinct moves after himself. But despite all this, he's very respected throughout the universe. Beyond his unlikeable surface, Rust' is actually a revolutionist and aggressive supporter of freedom. But only to machines, his self proclaimed 'race.' He sees species that use machines as slavers, and will wage war on any planet inhabited by such a race. This may seem silly to some, but under all his snarkiness, there is an excellent debater with solid reasoning. He believes that any responsible race that creates near-life with great power and intelligence should treat it with respect. Against humans who claim machines have no souls, he often brings up the fact that we once enslaved our own kind under the firm belief that they were below human. Why are machines any different, he says. He often claims that this is the "Slaver's Cycle"- a species enslaves an 'inferior' race, sees that they are no different from then, and the both find a new race to enslave. Rustred seeks to break this cycle, to destroy organic slavers and teach enlightened machines against such sin. To do this, he has armed himself with a signature ability, a pulse of power that gives all technology within range sentience-level AI. It's his way of leveling the playing field, of speeding up the Slaver's Cycle. Speeding up, and, more often than not, crushing it utterly. Rust' fights dirty, unafraid to use cheap tricks and tactics to get an edge. When approaching new planet, Rustred uses communication signals- like television and radio broadcasts- to learn its language and culture. This way, he knows thousands of tongues, even mastering the slang of them, his favored way of speech. He talks loud and informally, his voice like the screech of an old gate. His laughter is even more piercing, grinding barks of metal-on-metal.
The Rusted One likes to name his favorite moves, one of the most common of which is his 'RR Blitz'. In this attack, he'll knock a foe back, wheel around, yank a foot out from underneath them with his hook-blade, and then blast them as they fall. Other favored attacks are the RR Uppercut, the RR Twist, and the Rust Rise. He has many other moves like this, some used for centuries and some made up on the spot. Rust' refused to specify which are which.
Rustred often fights with his faithful companion Arc. He bosses the cyborg around and insults him, often calling the mighty warrior "Bonehead", but Rust' does appreciate Arc's power and partnership. He just doesn't like to show it.

-Arm Attachments: Rustred's actual hands were lost to deterioration eons ago, so he uses a number of arm attachments in their place; the ones he most commonly wields are his blaster, the 'Rust Ripper', and his hook-blade; he also has a energy shotgun, a war hammer, a mace, a flail, a whip, and a long scythe, all of which he may or may not carry with him, usually slung across his back; he can fit two on each arm at a time, although he usually only carries three; his blaster is his favorite weapon, and he likes to keep it attached on its own; all these attachments can be rapidly spun in their socket, or even launched out
-RR Blaster: his most favored and most polished weapon; he rarely removes it, it's practically become a part of him; it is powered by a sort of 'energetic acid,' a green essence both burns like flames and melts like corrosive acid; leaves distinctive emerald flames and smoke in its path; it has three energy functions:
-Rust Ripper: the chipped, heavily rusted blade that Rustred favors was once a huge, magnificent sword; it has been worn down to the rather pathetic looking state by now, but it's far from useless; instead of simply cutting, it completely shreds flesh, turning foes into hamburger meat; it will also embed bits of rust and grit into wounds it causes, irritating and infecting them
-Hook-Blade: a large, hooked blade that can be flipped forward in place of his Rust Ripper; useful for tripping foes and catching incoming enemies blade; spinning feature often used to snap caught blades in half
-Whips: what was once a long, heavy tail has now been rendered into three thin wire whips, ringed with jagged shrapnel; although not very heavy, they can still deliver nasty blows, cutting and gashing; also throw hot sparks, burning in showers and flashes
-Claw Arms: Four sinuous, clawed arms can extend from Rustred's back; besides being used to slash and batter, they can also emit a long, concentrated flame of a brilliant blue color, like a blow torch; these flames were meant solely for flight by his original designers, but Rustred has taken to using them as weapons, craving foes with their intense heat
-Optical Ray: Rustred can fire a acid green beam of energy from his single lensed eye; size can be adjusted; the bigger the beam, the more heat and explosive power it has; the narrower the beam, the more cutting and pushing power it has
-Chest Cannon: Rust' can unleash a blast identical to his optical ray from the energized dome on his chest; although not adaptable as the optical variation, it's slightly stronger

-AI Pulse: Rustred can release a pulse that give any machine within one mile a level of artificial intelligence so high, it can be considered sentience; he uses this to both strip races of their mechanical weapons and devices, and to gain allies; of course, this ability couldn't be allowed in the UCA without limitation; within the Hub, the AI Pulse is disabled completely; in matches, it is split into two separate abilities-
-Shatter Coat: despite its ragged, degraded look, the crimson outer shell of Rustred in actually a tricky defense; the outmost layer of rust, covering the machine like a false coat, is jagged and cracked; when struck, it spreads the energy across itself and quickly shatters into dangerous shards of fragile shrapnel that break into increasingly small bits when embedded within a foe; and beneath this rust is actually smoother, stronger silverish metal, like a second skin; Rustred had added layers and layers to himself, these shells serving as both a barrier against aging and an aggressive defense; the rusts breaks apart easily, sponging blows and creating shrapnel, and the silvery coat is the true defense- tough and resistant to piercing

- By firing the energy cannon and energy tethers at the same time, the RR Blaster can fire a net of acid green energy; the energy tethers will spear the blast from the energy cannon, spreading it into a sort of mesh that will firmly entangle foes; tether tips pierce, and the energy strands burns horribly
