Among the chain of islands that dotted the Archipelago, was an usuaually small one, only about a few hundred meters wide in diameter, and circular in shape. No grass or foliage grew on this island. It was but a mere sandbar, only at most a few meters above the ocean's surface.
Here would be the arena for a titanic clash against 2 masters of the elements, two beings loathed and feared by those in their realms... a battle between plant and water.
A single burst of light showed down, and from it emerged the hulking mass of vines, roots, and bark that was Yuuka Kazami. The behemoth scanned the battlefield, her crimson red eyes accepting this island for an arena. "Where might you be, Ketos? It is very unbecoming to leave a lady waiting... or perhaps you feel that your unmolested body isn't worth more gold than you can comprehend for your horde? Or perhaps you are but a mere lizard, pretending to be a gradure dragon, but when one of true power emerges, you flee as the coward you are? Surely, I would expect the Ruler of the Seas to have more... finess and royal mind than that." The Abomination rumbled out, her voice bellowing across the islands for dozens of miles...

(Thanks, Omega!)
As if answering the thundering challenge of the hulking earthen monstrosity, a second pillar of light speared the sands like a seconds-long firestorm. Stepping forward from the brief whirl of brilliance and quartz particles, the bulky blue shape of Ketos marched with confidence. The broad chest of the dragon expanded with a deep inhalation, his fanged head titled back as he sucked in the briny air. As he breathed out, a generous rush of mist and water vapor drifted from his yawning jaws.
This was where he truly belonged- as near to the ocean as he could be.
The blood orbs of the sea demon found Yuuka like crimson spotlights, casting a red glow across the green and brown of the plant titan. The dragon cooed in his deep, grisly voice, like the mocking hiss of a million serpent. "This arena, it is a wonderful place, is it not? My most favored of all those offered. You were a fool to chose this place in all ways but one. And that one wisdom was..."
The Tyrant of the Seas smiled gently at the larger monster with flesh-stained teeth, as if the Big Bad Wolf breaking the news of Grandmother's demise to Little Red just before sending her to join her elder.
"That this is a good place to die."

"Now that you mention it... it is a good place to die." The massive plant being hissed as she kneeled, her head bowed down and her arms planted in the soil. This act caused Ketos to tilt his head in confusion, before he quickly burst out laughing. So the wrench was bowing before him and recognizing her fate so soon? This was what it meant to be a true dragon, to have your foes realize their doom so soon, not that it would save this walking weed...
But in reality, it was far from the truth, and Ketos wouldn't like it.
All around him, vines and stems erupted from the ground, taking the arrogant dragon by surprise as they wrapped around his arms and legs. Enraged and furious, he tried to tug on them, but the more he did, the more they pulled back, digging into his skin tighter and tighter, until the scales began to dent and break. With one final tug, Ketos was barely able to stand at all, the vines pulling so tight, his arms were burning in pain. "Release me, wench! Ketos cannot be bound so easilly!" The dragon snarled as the gigantic plant monster walked up to him. While she had been knelt down, she had sent forth vones from her very body to root into the soil and spring out at Ketos. These were very durable vines, found only on a small island on an alien planet inhabited by giant killer amphibions... a favorite vacationing area for Yuuka.
"You want me to let go of you? But good sir, I have only just begun. I wish to see how a body can fare under incredible trauma-" her words were cut off as a powerful surge of water was spat out of the dragon's maw and nailed her in the chin like an uppercut, nearly causing her to stagger back. But she quickly recovered, and a massive smile spread on her face. "Now, this wil lprobably hurt you more than it will hurt me." She hissed as she balled her fists together...
And swung them into Ketos's gut in an uppercut motion.
The result was impressive by brutal strength standards. All the air was knocked out of the sea dragon's lungs as he went up nearly 200 meters straight into the air. The vines holding him streached and extended as far as they could, as if they were going to snap... before gravity brought Ketos back down to earth. He hit the ground so hard, he bounced off, his stomach feeling as if it had been hit by a kaiju-sized freight train...
And with his body still hanging 45 meters in the air, that was when Yuuka, both her hands still ball'd together, brought them down like a wrecking ball on Ketos's back, smashing him into the soil. A massive dust cloud billowed out from the impact, and as it cleared, one could see the giant plant monster observing the form of Ketos, his back feeling as if it had been shattered into pieces. No bones or ligaments had been broken or shreaded, but it sure felt like that. This kind of physical brute strength... It reminded him far too much of Stoorworm, of a being that was more than his match in terms of power...
But maybe, not in terms of skill...
"Boy, that really looked like it hurt." Yuuka said, tone in a curious state, odd for something of her magnitude and looks. "If I accidently broke you so soon, then my apologies. I simply would think that a true Ruler of the seas-"
And once more, her words were cut off by a powerful blow to the outside of her head. Reeling back, she didn't even try to defend herself as Ketos, now rising back up onto his feet and arms covered with a great masss of water in the form of enlarged fists, slugged out again, and again, each blow knocking back the giant plant further and further. a 4th blow, and then a 5th blow...
And then, she caught one of the fists in her own fist, and then the other. Her 8 feet planted into the ground, she was no longer budging, much to Ketos's dismay and anger. She brought her face up to his, so her rancid sappy breath filled his nostrils. "I'm sorry boy, did you have something you wanted to say? Let me ask you, have you ever met something beyond your comprehension?" she asked as she tightened her grip on Ketos's hands, threatening to crush them with ease...

Although his hydrokinetic extensions were straining, the liquid limbs pushed towards their limit, Ketos allowed a vicious smirk to carve into his face. A breathless cackle escaped the dragon, and his slapped the sand and waves hard with his tail. The blue behemoth angled his head up. Bloody orbs met slitted crimson pools.
"Your strength is great," grunting the dragon through grinning teeth. He pointedly ignored the plant's question, for now at least.
"It is large as you are. But perhaps that is your failing as well. After all, strength is not everything. Craft has its place in battle as well."
The eyes of the sea demon flashed.
"Observe."
The old mind of the monster reached out and molded the watery gauntlets encasing his arms. The brutish influence narrowed the balled fists into pointed spears, and Yuuka stumbled forward suddenly, her hands skewered clean through! Sticky lifeblood spewed and the spears were polluted with bled chlorophyll, like a shot body staining the water he collapses into. Ketos, laughing like a madman, whirled to the side, his arms leaving the liquid extensions and thrusting towards the falling plant titan. Yuuka, carried forward by her own strength and weight, toppled like the mightiest of oaks, and Ketos played the part of the crazed lumberjack.
His beefy forearm caught the side of the plant's crocodillian jaw. As the supernatural behemoth collapsed, he raked up with the razor-skin that wrapped him. The massive mandible of Yuuka was shredded, skinned like a mere vegetable. A broad line of green gore was etched into the giant- from her chin to the back of her skull, all of its squirting water and goop. The the towering creature finally finished her fall, cratering the soft sand head-first. Ketos stepped neatly to the side, one arms spiderwebbed by dripping channels of plant lifeblood. The beach exploded upwards upon impact, and the dragon shrieked deeply in laughter, his echoing chortles shaking the land and sea.
His chuckles fell short as the thick tail of Yuuka clobbered him with monstrous muscle.
The gagged dragon stumbled backwards, his hide turning a sickly purplish and red leaking from where the brutal points had stabbed in. A low snarl came from the sea monster as he steadied himself, heels sinking deep in the sand. With a salty breath of anger, the leviathan spoke.
"Comprehension does not matter, masked one. Not in battle. The moment you claim to comprehend-" He spat the word like bitter wine. "-the dance of war, it is no longer war. Just a game of bluffs and marches."
The paddled tail of the dragon lashed, slashing the sand below like a saber.
"And Ketos does not battle with his head. He fights with his heart! Know this, she who disguises- there is nothing that will ever convince Ketos to stop fighting. He had fought since the day he has hatched, and only absolutely victory can satisfy him. He will fight beyond comprehension, beyond death itself!"
The blue beast made a fist.
"Just as you should have fought beyond the reach of the ocean."
The clenched claws were pulled in, and a massive ocean wave rolled onto shore like a million tons of force. Yuuka- marching out of the sand and debris like a living battalion- was slammed by the tidal force from behind. The plant, despite her tremendous size, was rocked heavily by the blow. The bark lining her hunched back split and shattered under the liquid kingdom of Ketos, and the sea thoroughly soaked her vines and vegetation. Like a destroyer caught in a hurricane, the massive being was hurled in the air like something far smaller, her form tumbling crest over claws like a demented plaything in the raging twister of a child's imagination. The great wave carried the thrashing juggernaut high over the head of Ketos, and he rotated his laughing jaws to follow her path, the foamy current parting harmlessly around him. The arc of shredded leaves and spilled chlorophyll was completed as Yuuka crashed into the sea on the opposite side of the island with a thousand-foot plume of water.
Chuckling softly and twirling his talons dexterously, Ketos prepared to flatten the ocean's surface, straining Yuuka out of the salt and brine like the unnatural filth she was...

There would be no straining today, for before Ketos cold do that, 3 vines launched out of the water, and latched around the sea ruler's neck and arms. Grunting in surprise and arrogance, he held his ground, even as they tightened around him, crushing scales and cutting off the blood flow. As Ketos braced himself, he found himself being dragged toward the sea, which made him snicker. "Dragging me into my own environment? You are more foolish than I have imagined. Ketos will show you how grave an error you have made!" The dragon boasted, preparing to let himself be dragged in...
But right then, the tension on the vines cut slack. This confused Ketos... until he realized that the vines weren't trying to drag him in... they were acting as a giant rubber band for a certain plant master... who exploded out of the water and slammed into Ketos too fast for him to react. The massive mass of plant and bark skid across the entirely of the island, Ketos's face shoved down into the dirt the entire way. Once she had stopped, Yuuka grabbed Ketos by the back of the neck and hoisted him up so that they were face to face, the sea dragon's neck held tight. "Why should I not fight by the edge of the sea? It is so very beautiful to be besides. It is as a flower. Beautiful, lucious, and oh so deadly, is it not?" Kazami asked, the massive plant being smiled, not a sadistic slasher smile, not an overly energetic smile, but a simple, sweet smile, like a mother watching her child take his first steps...
A smile that Ketos found to be very unsettling of the being's face. Motioning with his right hand, the water from the ocean rose up, and solidified into 7 gigantic sharpened icicles... which then all plunged into the back of Yuuka's head... But aside from spilling more plant blood, she didn't seem to feel pain from it, rather merely scratching back ther ewith her free hand and dislodging them.
SLASH!
Fiery pain gripped the side of Ketos's face as Yuuka slashed her free hand across the left side of Ketos's face, and at the same time let go of him. He howled as he gripped it once he fell, his own blood dripping down on the beach. One cut in particular was very, very close to the eye, only a foot or so from it. the cuts ran down the entire length of that side of the skull, and were bleeding profusely, tha tvery blood dripping from Yuuka's fingers. Letting out a slight giggle, she licked the blood off, and smiled abit wider. "That looked like it hurt alot, O Ruler of the Seas." Kazami said as she stepped forward, bringing her head down. "You say you fight beyond comprehension, when such a thing is but a foolish notion. Oh you and Elly would get along so well with each other. She was just like you at one point... an arrogant, brave soul who had no clue about what they were up against." Here, her jaws parted, and she prepared to crunch down on Ketos's shoulder...

The massive, jagged jaws came down like twin cityscapes of sap-covered fangs. Although the spike-like teethed bared down upon him with savage intent and dreadful force, Ketos laughed through his own fangs. Steam spilled from the maw and nostrils of the sapphire dragon as he spat smug words at the plant.
"Once again, your size is your undoing."
A cackle was lost in a boiling sea as the Demon of the Deep spat out warmed water, straight into the great target before him- the mouth of Yuuka! The earthen leviathan gagged as the water slammed into her broad pallets, and all she could taste as salt and own out sticky fluids. Mist and foam spewed from the plant's cavernous maw as she thrashed, trying to escape the precision assault, but Ketos swiftly weaved his angular head to and fro to match her movements. It seemed the sea itself was feeding into her gullet, and the weight of it all was beginning to affect her. The sheer volume of the saltwater pulled her form down as it flooded her weaved body cavity. Near the bottom of her form, where green stem gave way to brown root, was especially bad, the 'waist' of her body absorbing seawater. Red eyes glowing, the fierce female tried to close her jaws, but all she accomplished was obliterating the thorny teeth that came under the water's angry flow. The backwash of Ketos's breath simply forced her jaws back open with a strained snap! It seemed only the demon dragon himself could end her punishment, and- from what she had learned of him so far- that seemed unlikely.
This was why the plant nearly staggered with shock as the blue beast snapped his jaws shut and ceased his geyser with a smirk.
Water and chlorophyll gushed out of her coughing jaws, the shattered fragments of teeth following the sickly liquid mixture, but the giant kept her eyes squarely on Ketos. "Out of breath?" hissed the plant sweetly. "Or did you simply waste it all on empty brags and boasting?"
The smirk of the sea monster broadened and he jabbed a saber-like talon at the side of his neck. There, over his gills, were sheets of ocean water filled with oxygen-rich bubbles. "I could have gone on forever. But I did not. And that is curious to you, is it not?"
Yuuka narrowed her slitted orbs suspiciously. "Perhaps the tiniest bit. I would guess a scheme of some sort, but that is the sort of thing for creatures with... larger brains."
Smirk becoming a scowl, Ketos raised a razor-sharp set of claws and pressed two together, their thin edges throwing up a small shower of sparks as they slide against one another. Yuuka felt a tightening in her gut. "Interesting thing about plants," drawled the dragon. "They are filled with water. And while I will admit that my influence over the clean waters of rivers and streams is less than the mighty waves of the ocean, it is a happy coincidence that your body is now... touched by the sea."
The ball of knotted vines and water in the middle of the plant behemoth clenched more tightly, and Yuuka was forced to double over as her outer layer of vegetation was drained dry.
"You can feel it, can't you? The salt flying through your veins. It eats at you. Claws at your insides, taking all the moisture and nourishment its greed can swallow." The ocean beast grinned. "It is like Ketos. It will end your life."
Yuuka gasped and shambled now, weakly and slowly rocking towards the dragon that had most of her body moisture condensed into a seven-meter ball in the center of her mass. The once lush, healthy-looking tower of living vegetation was now shrunken, every step falling with a dry crackling as her body splintered and cracked. The drained goliath, hunched and trembling, reached out with one enormous mitt, but Ketos merely pushed away the liquid-devoid limb with a swat of his own claws. Eyes wide and wild, the plant lurched forward. Her skull was shriveled and tight, waxy skin stretched tight over her jaws and scalp. Snickered like a teenage boy after a particularly low comeback, Ketos sidestepped and watched the living monolith stumble past. The dragon chuckled, and his bloody eyes slide over to his own claws.
"Well, this is simply becoming sad. Allow me to end it."
The blue talons snapped, and the watery orb within Yuuka detonated like a liquid atom explosion!
The plant titan seemed to swell from a moment, her hunched back and barrel chest pushing out and her limbs swinging out stiffly. Then her pressurized surface split and tinted water gushed out like a green volcano. The bark armor on her spine shattered like glass, throwing up wood chips and damp sawdust, the violent breaches letting out even more water. The plant deflated as the water rushed out of the many shredded openings in her hide, ragged bits of tissue and tree polluting it like the gore of the forest. She could feel no pain, but the Sleeping Terror could certainly feel rage. A scream left her just as furiously as the water, and the sagging plant failed in anger. Her efforts were only half-impressive. Her fast-acting roots were soaking back in some of what was lost, but the great beast was still loosing more water than regaining it, and she only received laughter for all her wrath.
Giggling and throwing spittle from his sneering jaws, Ketos whirled around and lashed out with his finned tail, the flat paddle slicing towards Yuuka's weakened, waterlogged body like a scaly axe...

OOC: Wubba da ze? Eh... got lazy. LAZINESS FTW, ZE!
The paddle nailed Yuuka across the side, slicing through weakened vines and roots with ease. Ketos giggled madly, expecting the giant plant conglomerate to wail out in pain... But instead, what he got were laughs straight from the giant plant, laughs that drowned out his own and silenced him. Before he could react, a fist clobbered him on the side of the head with enough force to send him flying to the side, the brain inside his head rattling back and forth from the force of the hit, causing further internal damage. As Ketos slid to a stop over a hundred meters away, his control over the water was broken for all but a moment... but that was all Yuuka needed. resoaking up the water, the plants that made her up re-strengthened. The damage had been done, but she was no longer water-logged or drained. Moving toward Ketos, she reached down and grabbed him by the throat, before hoisting him far off his feet and eye-level with her, the broken smile of the abomination filling his line of vision. "I must admit, you did surrpise me with that little stunt. For a master of the oceans, your not as dumb as I have heard you were... but your still not smart." She smirked, as she raised up her free hand. Before ketos's eyes, the hand began to extend and morph, until it became a giant, thorned whip.
WHACK! WHACK!
Twice the whip lashed out, and Ketos howled in pain as a large X-shaped mark on his chest was created. On the whip were now skin and flesh, that torn off of Ketos. As the woulds bled porfusely, Yuuka put the whip in her mouth and ran it through, cleaning off all the meat from it, and then swallowing it down. "You know, there is a Ruler fo the Seas in my world. Otohime, Ruler of the Dragon Palace and Goddess of the Sea. Very nice lady, though she's abit eccentric and timid. I'm good friends with her, and she's a far better master of water than you are, Ketos-boy." Yuuka taunted, as she raised up her massive skull...
And brought it crashing down ontop of Ketos's head.
To Yuuka, she felt nothing due to the lack of pain receptors, but to Ketos, it HURT. Once more, his brain was sent rattling in it's case. It was a horrible headache, one of the worst he had felt. Yuuka let go of the beast, and watched as he writhed around, grabbing at his skull in futility. "DAMN YOU, WEED! NO BEAST HAS THE RIGHT TO DO THIS TO KETOS!" He howled, which only caused Yuuka to laugh some more.
"I have heard quite abit about you and your failures, Ketos. Like your runin with a certain human. What was his name again?" Here, Yuuka brought her hand up to her chin, as if in pondering. "Oh yes, Alex Shepheard was his name. What I'm wondering is how if your the greatest dragon of them all, then how were you easilly outwitted by a mere hyperactive human? Surely he has no special skills, no powers, no supernatural feats, and yet you have always been bested by that which you hate the most Perhaps, this sole human is more capable than you are, Ketos." She said, almost in a curious way, but with a tint of malice and humor as she planted her fingers into the ground, unleasing the numerous vines and roots that were ready to ensnare and strangle Ketos... How it was that she came across this information was an enigma, but then, Yuuka was known for having a knack for uncovering one's secrets...

"Alex Shepheard," hissed Ketos with the venom of a thousand serpent, the blue beast slowly rising with unsteady steps. "Is a measly specimen of no real strength, even for his pest of a species. All he has are words, and what are words other than a thing invented by a coward to plead for life?" The dragon curled his bladed lips and spat sea mist. "Even he has speaks to you now, know that Ketos needs no words. His wants are simple, his desires basic. Life and land. That is all his needs. And all his needs to achieve those is..."
The dragon outstretched all ten talons and rushed Yuuka with a almighty roar.
"THESE! NOW PERI-"
The sea monster's furious holler was cut off as the tendrils of Gaia's Gardener burst from the ground and wrapped his throat like leafy pythons. The king of the ocean rocked forward against the vines, slashing and grabbing at Yuuka fruitlessly. The massive plant only smiled sweetly and fluttered her bloody eyes. Then the tiniest of smirks curled the earthen titan's mouth. The vines around Ketos's throat tightened, and the dragon went stiff as he was strangled. Talons that strained for Yuuka curved back to tug at the vegetative ropes that squeezed the life from their owner. Ketos struggled and flailed madly, his head whipped back and forth. He was trying to hack through the vies with his toothed skin, but all he succeeded in doing was rubbing his flesh raw, trickles of red flowing from his neck like tiny rivers. Grinning more broadly, the nightmare mash of plantlife reached out to catch a crimson droplet on a talon-tip. Licking her lips, the massive monsters withdrew the limbs and tauntingly allowed the drops of blood to fall upon her tongue.
"Hhhmmmmhh," The great sadistic nearly purred. "Delicious." The plant's monstrous head leaned forward as Ketos gurgled out something indeterminable. Blood bubbled from his mouth corners. "Oh? What's that, dear? I can't quite make it out. Please, try speaking more clearly." The plant giggled daintily. "It's as if you're gargling marble."
As a second ladylike laugh left the horror's jagged maw, the flowing blue length of Ketos's tail launched over his head. Swinging down like a sapphire axe, the paddled end of the appendage chopped into Yuuka's skull! Sap and chlorophyll squirted out from the ragged wound, and the flat tail tip drew back with a gory green arc. Coming down again and again, the Demon of the Deep hacked into his gigantic foe as if with a sawed war club! Green blood and mulch spilling across her cranium like a boiling spring, Yuuka was forced back by the ferocity of the attack, her vines falling away from Ketos's bloodied throat. Narrowed eyes matching the hue of the gory band around his neck as he staggered back, Ketos snarled loudly with a single saber-like claws pointed at Yuuka.
"When you restrain a dragon, always hold the tail first!"
Lurching forward with all the grace of an enraged sperm whale, the Tyrant of the Seas plunged his talons into the overgrown jungle of Yuuka's wide chest. The internal detonated of his 'ocean's heart' had cleared the patch over where the traditional human heart would be of bark armor, so that is where Ketos struck. Finding a good grip on a particularly thick vine that was weaved deep into Yuuka, the dragon braced himself against the plant's hunched form and yanked back. A low, wet riiiiii-iiping sound came from within the earthen brute as she was unraveled, a portion of her 'innards' spilling forth as Ketos pulled loose the vine in his grasp. The one tendril broke or dragged out everything it touched as Ketos applied all his strength to it, drawing it out as one might a single thread in a blanket. Except that most blankets did not spew blood and curses as they were plucked of strands.
The vine finally ended, popping loose from the base of Yuuka's throat with a green spurt and taking almost twenty-five other tendrils with it, all looped and tied together like vegetative intestines. A slick of green gore running down her front, Yuuka took a few steps back, shocked at the lose of her vines as a man might be of a rib. Merciless as the animals that tore out that rib, Ketos gave no slack as he whirled around and swung the knot of vines at his foe like a twisted flail. A pulse of hydrokinetic power flowed through the vines as they tore through the air, the influence of Ketos freezing the water within and forming a stiff, icy mace from their flacicd length. The cold tangle at the end impacted like a small meteor, and- happening to find weak point, an shallow indent in the side of the head where the mandible attached to the skull- threw up a miniature geyser of green.
Laughing thunderously as his titanic foe drew back like Goliath laid low by a tiny sling stone, Ketos snapped his arm and launched the icy twist of vines out again...

The icy mace of vines smashed once more into the side of Yuuka's head, throwing up a shower of green blood and plant tissue. Ketos' laughter continued unabashed...
Until a horrible pain gripped his chest. This time, it was Ketos's own blood that geysered out as Yuuka's hand pierced into the crossed section on his chest. The hand of the plant monster dug in, searching and groping around as Ketos could do nothing but howl in pain. "You think it funny, don't you?" Yuuka asked, her voice now more stern and angry than before. "To use my own children, my own family against me. To freeze them solid and kill them. To tear them away from me..." She growled, eyes burning into Ketos's own. "Nononononono. I think retribution is in order... Ah, here it is." RIIIIP!
A large, vessel covered organ was ripped from Ketos's body, and the sea dragon staggered back, gaping at the hole put into him. The organ in question was within the palm of the sadistic nightmare, who eyed it hungrily. "Ah yes... the Kidney. An organ most beings of flesh can live without. I doubt you'll be needing this anytime soon." She taunted as she swallowed the organ whole, before shifting her gaze once more to Ketos. "Now, does that seem even to you? Because if not, I still have more punishment for you."
"You... First the false worm, and now you!" Ketos roared cletching his injured chest. "KETOS WILL-"
Ketos's arrogant boasting was cut short with a knife-handed jab to the side of his neck. The blow sent Ketos tumbling over and over across the sand, his neck sore and bruised from the hit. As he tried to get up, a powerful pair of hands grabbed his tail tightly. The next thing the sea dragon knew, he had been lifted straight out of the sand, upinto the air... and then smashed back down , a large plume of sand rising up into the air from the impact. This was done twice, then three times, before haulting the forth. Once the dust settled, Yuuka could see that Ketos was laying still, a small pool of blood beginning to form around his body, though this was more to the removal of the kidney than the smashing his face into the ground. "Now, perhaps I should teach you some proper manners... Nah, I think I'll just beat you to within an inch of your life. Genodice IS just a game, wherever it be against humans, demons... or dragons The screams of your kind are music to my ears." She hissed lovingly as her right hand changed and morphed into a giant twisted blade that she prepared to stab into Ketos's back...

The monstrous plant swung the gnarled blade down with the strength of a dozen titans, parting the briny air with a low, haunting whistle. This warbling song of knotted steel reached Ketos's ear with a burst of adrenaline, and he quickly rolled to the side. Instead of slicing into his spine, the ragged sword of vegetation struck his shoulder. Although not a fatal blow by any means, the sheer power behind the sword swipe hacked a slice of blue flesh clean off! The dragon howled in agony, smashing the bloodied sand with an outraged tail paddle. Towering above the writhing sea beast, Yuuka clutched her midsection and laughed thunderously, yet quietly at the same time- a whisper of tremendous volume.
A bloody light possessed the eyes of the dragon as Yuuka's laughter rolled over him, an indignant rage filling his belly. Behind the chortling pant and the collapsed dragon, the sea swelled under the will of the its master. The sea twisted into a silvery trail of liquid, the watery ribbon lopping and twirling and spinning into the heavens. Balling up behind the laughing plant in a swirling bubble, the ocean water separated into dozens of sharp, thin liquid needle. Launching at high speeds with tiny sprays of sea mist, the watery needles pierced Yuuka's skull like miniature spears! The great thing staggered in surprise as her scalp was split open, green life essence spewing out with each stabbing blow. A river of chloroplast flowed down for each needle-strike, and Yuuka thrashed in rage.
