Now, we all seem to be enjoying our stay here at the UCA. It's obviously a fun place, with fun people, and fun fights... but what if there was a way to improve the UCA experience? What are a few things you'd think would make the UCA a far more entertaining place, and what are a few problems that you notice with how things are done here?
WORD OF WARNING: This is not a thread for arguing. This is to help so that we mods and Admins can help imrpove the UCA and make it far more fun for everyone.

Pictures for ALL monsters... I have no problem with text only, but text only can do so much for me. I sometimes have a hard time envisioning a monster that is a wall of text because of how big some text walls can be.

Hm... what about 'standardizing' the UCA?
It seems to me that we all just sort of make up and go with what isn't given to us (or I dunno, maybe its just me), and while that's good for flexibility, I feel like it could eventually lead to conflict, confusions, etc. Instead of winging it, we could have a massive joint brainstorming session and decide on definite descriptions/concepts for things that are commonly addressed in RP posts, yet not mentioned in the introductory stuff.
Now, that isn't any sort of knock against IR, some things have just taken on a life of there own here. Can't predict/plan for everything, but we can address them as they arise
Just for example- announcers. MM describes the guy who starts the matches the owner of the place. I have 'The Announcer.' And various other members use him/them as random UCA employees as far as I can tell. Giving one of those idess- or maybe a fusion of them- the official site seal would be useful, I think.

I think there should be a note about keeping other people's monsters in character. It's pretty weird and annoying to see things like Nosdrah squealing in pain (while he doesn't even feel it in the first place), Armaggeddon whimpering in terror, or heck, Gadon running everywhere in a forest like an idiot and screaming in utter pain each time something pokes him despite it being clearly stated in his bio that he's not like that. It's just a cheap way to make your opponents whimps before your "oh so mighty" monsters and it's completely lame. Respect others' characters and we'll respect yours. It'll be much better like that. Personality sections are there for a reason, after all.

Besides a mute, impervious monster squealing in pain and other impossible feats (which are depressingly common in the Brawl), this is what I was talking about in my previous post. Powerplaying/godmodding like this is just cheap and lame, and I don't get why doesn't anyone do something about it. It sucks the fun out of everything. As I said, monster stats and personalities are there for a reason. Downplay our chars... we'll downplay yours. Inaccuracies can happen, but most (if not all) seem to be downright voluntary just to come off as almighty and all-powerful.

Inaccuracies can happen, but most (if not all) seem to be downright voluntary just to come off as almighty and all-powerful. I'm just going to go ahead and think this is directed at me. In which case, I'm going to retort and bring up the fact players have had Rosie react to pain, get "easily overpowered", blatantly ignore the fact he is a trained fighter (which is even listed in his bio and would imply one wouldn't just approach him and start ripping him to shreds), AND his thick hide (again, not something one would just rip apart in one fucking attack). Every coin has two sides, KC. Fuck with my characters, I'll fuck with yours. So next time, you can take your little bitch fit to someone else who won't rip your arguments to shreds. And between me and IR, the Horsemen are suppose to be cheap. They're boss characters, which is why stuff from them tends to break powers and personality traits. I fully expect Dan to be the same way when he controls the next boss.

Before this goes any farther, I just want to point out that stuff like this happens ALL the time in RPGs. Person A's Unstoppable Force meets Person B's Immovable Object. One or both of them is bound to get ignored to an extent. When you're dealing with two monsters like Rosie and Abaddon that have BOTH an Unstoppable Force (incredible physical strength) AND an Immovable Object (incredibly tough hide/armor), it's pretty much unavoidable if you want them to hurt each other at all. It's nothing to get all ruffled about.

I think being able to 'test drive' monsters would be beneficial.
Some of my newer guys aren't handling the way I though they would. I know MM has had this problem too. So what if we could engage in short test matches with other experimental monsters or existing brawlers? Only a page or so of combat, just to see if the monster we want to use is quite up to expectations.
Now, I realize that this ability could be abused to bypass the ten-monster roster limit, so I would also suggest a series of limitations to go with it. You would have to have an open spot to be able to use this feature at all. No "testing" monsters just to have more at your disposal. And- if both monsters were being tested- no winner would be named, combat would just be ceased. For matches against established fighters, I'm not sure what the policy would be though. An honorary win no matter the outcome? Only wins and draws counted? Wins certainly wouldn't count for the tested monster. Perhaps even a 'once a month' limit would be necessary, to prevent people for changing rosters willy-nilly.
Maybe not a workable idea, but one I felt compelled to share nevertheless.

^ I actually like that idea quite a bit. Might require some tweaking before it could be implemented, but I'll definitely give it some thought.
