Name: Golemech (GO-le-mek)
Height: 100 meters (120 w/crystal)
Mass: 95,000 tons
Description:
(picture forthcoming)
Golemech is a bipedal humanoid machine, first and foremost. Most of the machine's armor on the chest and parts of th elegs and arms is covered in a thick layer of rock that seems almost bound to the machine, and several glowing green crystals adorn these rocky coverings, including a very large, prominent one on the left shoulder, and a smaller cluster on the right. Only half of the machine's face is visible, showing a camera lense-like eye and a set of antenna, which are used for communication. Part of the armor on the chest is exposed, revealing a glowing insignia, resembling a radiation hazard sign, but with four wedges radiating out from the center instead of three.
Golemech's right arm is relatively large compared to his left, and ends in a three pronged gripper claw, while the left arm ends in a short, wide barreled cannon. The crystal growths covering the machine's body are surprisinly tough and do not cleave easily, or shatter when exposed to sonic attacks, although they can be damaged with enough force. These crystals have replaced the machine's long-dead power source and have become intertwined with the machine's weapons as well.
Personality:
Golemech is relentless in combat, attacking with brute force and little finesse. This does not mean the machine is stupid, however, as it displays a surprising amount of tactical knowledge, and will move to blindside foes, attack their weak points, or make use of any breaches in their defenses. The machine makes no attempts at communication in combat, and all attempts by the UCA to subvert his programming have resulted in failure, save for one minor safeguard to ensure he obeys the rules of the UCA regarding monster on monster combat.
Attacks:
1) Gravity Cannon- Golemech's right arm is a powerful gravity manipulation weapon, capable of lifting up to 100,000 tons. When used to lift and move objects, it forms a gravity leash between the claws on the arm. Additionally, it can be used to fire blasts of focused gravity. These blasts have extremely powerful force behind them and are capable of bowling over most monsters, while great damage to small or frail monsters, but lack any properties other than blunt force.
2) Mass Inverter- When activated, Golemech's central insignia glows a bright green as the machine releases a pulse that nullifies the mass of everything within 50 meters or itself for a few brief seconds, making them light as a feather. This usually does nothing in and of itself, as the duration is too short lived for them to start "falling" upwards. However, when combined with the Gravity Cannon, or other sharp impacts, it allows Golemech to lift objects outside of the Gravity Cannon's normal weight limits or throw things around with ease. However, it consumes a lot of the machine's energy (Limited 2 uses per battle).
3) Mass Accelerator- The cannon on Golemech's left arm can vacuum up loose clutter around the machine and then fire it at a target at high speeds, creating in effect a kaiju sized shotgun. The exact amount of damage varies, depending on what materials are used, as materials like steel will penetrate monster hide better than concrete or rocks. Additionally, because a number of crystal growths are fused to the cannon, Golemech can fire these off as well. Unlike other ammunition, the crystals, due to their nature as a high density energy source, explode violently on impact, although Golemech can onlu use them sparingly.
4) Gravity Wave- Golemech can release a blast of gravity waves from his body as a pulse-type attack, throwing monsters back and battering them with incredible force.
5) Crystal Zapper- The large crystals on Golemech's shoulder can release some of their power as an energy bolt weapon. (Comparable to Kiryu's Maser Cannons)
Powers:
1) Golemech's rocky exterior is fairly tough and can take a lot of punishment. Even after removing it, the armor plating beneath it is very dense and can absorb a lot of punishment before buckling.
2) Golemech can fly for short distances by manipulating his own mass. He has a maximum flightspeed of Mach 1, but has limited manueverability.
3) Multi-tiered Sensor Array- Golemech has powerful sensors that be used to pick up opponents, even when they are stealthy or attempting to cloak themselves somehow.
4) Golemech's advanced circuitry design renders the machine immune to the effects of EMP, high magnetism, high frequency sonic attacks, or other such effects that damage circuitry.
5) Golemech's crystal growths are very tough and can even regenerate during the course of battle. See Weaknesses for more details.
Weakness:
1) Although Golemech's crystals growths are very tough and can regenerate, damaging them reduces the machine's power output momentarily, reducing the power of his weapons.
