Another thought that struck me the other day...
Of all the monsters that have been registered here in the UCA, who do you think are the five most infamous?
Not with we players/RPers, but in-universe, with the assumed viewers and fans of the UCA's blood sport (although, hey, maybe the two are the same thing). Through their initial impression, their common actions in match, and their exploits in the chaotic events of recent, who are the five most favored, most feared, or most famed UCA monsters at the moment? I've got my ideas, but let's put them to the test, shall we!
Try to give at least a bit of reason please.
-
My five!
Thresher & Rosie - Because how could these two be hosted here and NOT attract a ton of attention? Maybe the UCA themselves don't like their rule-breaking nature and general defiance, but I bet the crowds eat it up. They're like the bad boys of the UCA
Armageddon - If MM's duo are the UCA's bad boys, then this guy is the big bad. He's about as close to an end boss as you can get without breaking the rules (which is maybe where he's going, hhhhhhhhhmmmm?), almost like something that's just below the Horsemen in the grand scheme of things. And with his evolution continuing, I'm sure the fans would be watching his progress as closely as I am.
Neo-SpaceGodzilla - Maybe it's just 'cause IR used his CREATOR POWERS!!!!!!1!! to set him up as a top dog early on in the history of this place, but between his sadistic personality and tried and true tactics, it just seems natural that this cosmic clone would be a real fan favorite here. He's a classic.
Ketos - For sheer force of personality. I find there's very little I can put him in without his jackass mentality shoving him to the forefront of things. Maybe they like to laugh at him, maybe they like to cheer for him, but I betcha' damn near anything that UCAers love to watch Ketos in action.
I think monsters like Fenris, Hera, and Kasai would be pretty up there too.

Ooooh. I LOVE this idea... This may seem a bit odd, but I've always looked at the UCA as a sort of WWE/F, but with kaiju instead of wrestlers. With this in mind, I believe the most popular kaiju within the UCA wouldn't so much be the biggest and baddest, but those with the most attitude and personality. Rosie & Thresher: Just as Hayes has said, these two would probably be high up on any fan who would "watch" the UCA across the galaxy. Breaking the rules, originality in punishment, and general badassery harks back to the Attitude Era days of the WWE, which is also the most popular era of the WWE/F. They could easily be considered the New Age Outlaws of the UCA, a very popular team back in the day. With the formation of the Legion of Carnage (L.O.C.) now in affect, the alliance has grown to include Neo-SpaceGodzilla, Rustred, and Arc. Once again, this would hark back to the Attitude Era days with the L.O.C. becoming a G-Generation X type of stable. And to just fit all pieces together, one of the members being Neo-SpaceGodzilla, arguably the UCA's version of HHH. Neo-SpaceGodzilla: A classic and powerful anti-hero of sorts, Neo-SpaceGodzilla would become popular with the masses much like HHH has with WWE/F fans. He's been involved in several of the company's most biggest battles and, having joined the L.O.C., would become even more popular. Asmodeus: Being the only humanoid female to have a strong presence with numerous events and battles, and being able to fend off the big boys, I'd think she'd become famous much like Chyna did. Quetzar: As of now (I believe anyway), Quetzar is the only true force of good within the UCA who has a loud, outspoken stance against evil. With his previous feud against Thresher especially, I believe he’d be skyrocketing in popularity, reaching heights comparable to that of John Cena of today. Though, with honorable mentions going to… Armageddon, rising in popularity much like Kane did in 1997. A true monster through and through. Ketos, an extremely vocal, vicious, and power monster. I think he could play well as either a true villain or an anti-hero, and his unique third person speaking would really help boost him up in popularity, making him almost akin to Stone Cold Steve Austin. It’d be epic if we ever got an NSG vs. Ketos fight and see these two personalities clash. Black Dragon. He wants to be such a big, bad threat… but just fails. He fails beyond failing. This could be comparable to the Honky Tonk Man. His constant failing and constantly getting his ass kicked would jump him up to popularity immensely, probably making a meme out of him in the process. People would pay to see him get beat week after week.

Eh, it's kinda hard for a non-speaking monster, no matter how destructive, to surpass a speaking one in intrigue. Plus, Hera seems to have been pushed off the map since Thanatos- who I really think is the less interesting of the two- arrived.

I'd find this one easier if I could separate famed from feared. XD

Hmmmm.... Fenris: Two words: Bitch. Queen. Fenris is easily one of the most ferocious warriors at the UCA, and her standing as the UCA champion is DAMN well deserved. Not only is she able to stand toe-to-toe with monsters that easily can dwarf her in size and strength, but she is clever enough to use the environment to her advantage, and have even use her opponent's strengths against them, due to her sheer speed and versatility! She's definitely one of the crowd pleasers at the UCA. Thresher: Okay, I'mma be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of Thresher. But let's be honest- he is a UCA ICON at this point. Quite possibly one of the most popular monsters at the UCA, alongside his compatriot and brother in arms Rosie, every time he appears, I'm sure the UCA's constant watchers are practically BOWING before him. To stand against Thresher is to stand against one of the arena's most beloved icons- and he certainly won't back down easily. Armageddon: I am honestly amazed at how popular he has become as of late. But, seeing how powerful he has become, and his sheer brute combat ability, I can see why, both in and out of universe, he'd be so popular. He is MONSTER, through and through. He'll insult you and your purpose in life, and he'll beat the crap out of you while he's doing it! His evolving powers and strength only serves to make him more appealing to the UCA's crowds. Yuuka: Not only is she batshit insane, but she also is sadistic, and has a quirky, if not entertaining, sense of humor. Her sheer strangeness is probably enough to for many people to find her interesting. Even if she's a complete and utter monstrosity, both physically and personality-wise. Ketos: Seriously, how could someone NOT love Ketos, or at least find him a unique individual? Not only his he proud and boastful, but he is an absolute monster in the ring, easily able to turn any environment into a watery hellhole that few monsters can fight him in. His unique speech pattern would also help to make this sea tyrant, quite an interesting one to watch.

Fainis. Bitch is scary.
Ketos has been around from beginning to end. While not quite on the top of the "raw power" scale, he's still a force to be reckoned with and, in my opinion, an icon of the UCA.
Yuuka, the biollante-esque sadist, is a shoe-in.
Rumaka, as well. He's charismatic and a bit goofy, but also quite notable IMO.
Annnnnnnnndddddd..... Still thinking on a fifth.
