Normally, when a monster were to appear, they would come down in a bright light as they were teleported in by the UCA. This was a different enterance, though, as the Queen of Hell appeared out of an eldritch gap that tore open above the wasteland. She surveyed the area even as the gap closed up and vanished. Apparently, she had been chosen to be the one to challenge Fenris for her title. Nor nowmally, she wouldn't have cared, but there was the fact that Fenris had tied with Asmodeus before... If she could defeat Fenris, then that would prove she was better than Asmodeus, a prospect Persephone wouldn't let down even for some more sleep. Still, for her to be chosen... She would have to thank Yukari later for messing with whatever boundaries she did to make this happen. "Alright, so I'm here first. We are now waiting for Old Scratch's pet poodle" She half-joked to herself. The air of the wasteland was moist with the early morning rays, and a light dew was upon the sands. An anomaly for this place, but one that seemed fitting for this kind of match...

A brilliant beam fell upon the dead earth, and the dark form of Fenris carved through the blinding light like a shark dressed in fur. The paws of the gigantic hound cracked the moistened earth, claws slashing the damp sand and soil, but her yellow eyes burned straight ahead, uncaring of the wetness touching her black pads.
The hound of Satan did not grin or cackle at the sight of Persephone. She hardly even looked at the towering humanoid female. Instead, her glowing eyes stared at something that could not be seen, something beyond the Queen of Darkness, or maybe even through her. Instead of malice or humor or hatred, the venomous orbs of the wolf were swimming with something she rarely bothered with- thought. The demon was deep in thought, an unusual state for the hellhound. She hardly even noticed the world around her, her only concern laying with the swelled plain in her head. She would rather not even be here if the UCA would allow it. It was too distracting right now, to fight, even with one that she had sworn to punish.
In the grand brawl that had rocked the UCA, the massive free-for-all that had occurred only days ago, Fenris- queen of the burning field and bubbling pools- had died. She had been dead, thrown from her earthy body and into the afterlife.
And it haunted the wolf.
Even if the UCA had revived her and restored her flesh, she still remembered the experience. She could still recall what death was like, and this memory lurked in her soul like a grinning shadow. The bitch queen had seen what waited for her after her final passing from this world. She hadn't liked it.
Giving her fanged head a savage shake, Fenris temporarily cast away her worried thoughts of death and focused narrowed eyes on Persephone. Even in her haunted state, the wolf managed a small sneer for the Ruler of Hell. This was the smug, infuriating being that had mocked her, insulted her and intruded upon her mind. She was a member of the League of Villains. An associate of the Black Dragon and the rest of his vile, deluded companions. The Hound of Death sunk down onto her belly with a soft growl, her paws scratching at the earth and her dragon jaws snapping their teeth.
Even tormented by worries and thoughts of the afterlife, there was no way she wouldn't enjoy this.

"And now, let the games begin!" Persephone announced. At that moment, Fenris shot toward her like a rocket, the Hellhound covering the distance at a far faster pace than one would expect. And yet, Persephone was ready, as right when Fenris leapt, Persy ducked under, the Hellhound flying above her and landing. As Fenris wheeled around to strike, sharp ice daggers materialized from the dewy air and plunged into Fenris's hide! Several impaled into her twin dragon heads, causing them to howl in pain. Demonic blood dripped down from the creatures skin. With the pain distracting Fenris, Persephone used the moment to continue her offensive. Several amulets formed in her hands, and she threw them at the Hellhound. They latched onto her main head... and exploded. A sharp yelp of pain escaped the demonic dog as smoke obscured its head.
Persephone smirked. Was this really the UCA Champion she was to fight? She had met Fenris before, during the League of Villains incident and before then. She had gotten the Hellhound mixed up with a different verse's counterpart before, which had led to the hostility that had occurred back then. But now... she knew just what she was up aga-
Hellfire launched out of the smoke like a runaway freight train and took Persephone by surprise. The flames caught her and sent her sprawling upon the desert ground. Her armor had taken the flames surprisingly well, but the sheer force of it wasn't expected. Fenris emerged from the smoke, her main head slightly charred and bleeding from the amulets. THe Hellhound growled as her dragon heads began to sprout shadows around the jaws. Persephone, rising to her feet, knew what she was going to do, and rolled out of the way, barely avoiding the shadow jaws launched at her. Fenris launched herself once more at Persephone, but the Hellian Queen rolled onto her back...
and kicked out as Fenris collided with her legs, the force of the kick knocking the air out of the dogs lungs and sending her onto her side, but also causing Persephone to skid 200 meters back across the sand. More energy amulets forming in her hands, she hurled them at the recovering Hellhound...

Winded by the force that the witch had kicked her to the ground with, Fenris could only roll her great head to the side with an unamused snarl as the paper missiles struck, engulfing her upper body in a sheet of burning fur and white smoke. An irate howl rung out, shaking the mass of smoke, vibrating its particles with frustration. Persephone laughed. Whatever splinter district of her kingdom this bitch ruled over must be pathetic. Its queen was weak.
"Sit, girl," she spat mockingly from between curled lips, a smirk splitting her face and victory already in her eyes.
A deep bark parted the smoke that smothered the Hound of Death. Six glowing eyes flashed briefly from within the gray curtain. The pale wall of vapor swirled for a moment, then a column of crimson hellfire was spat out hatefully. Persephone dropped to her knees and rolled from the rampaging path of the orange demon flames, but the thick beam was swung after her like a hellish baseball bat. The blast slashed across her chest and held, throwing the Ruler of Hell back with limps splayed like a Barbie doll. As the great woman was hurled back, Fenris swept aside the smoke with a scowling head and stalked stiffly towards the sorceress, pelt bristled with anger and long legs held straight. Her lanky limbs made progress after the other female- who skidded across the barren earth under the force of her flames, shattering rocks and splashing sand like water- go fast. The chimera closed the distance quickly.
Persephone wheezed as the air was forced from her lungs, the pressure on her chest increasing with every step the devil dog took. The silver plate over her breast slowly grew weaker as the seconds passed. The demon-foraged metal groaned and squeaked at it collapsed. Persephone barred her teeth. The failing armor was beginning to press down too hard on the more feminine parts of her anatomy. As the armor was pushed in, Persephone's pain swelled. Her throat constricted around a sharp scream, holding it back, although a long breath flowed from her nose. Lines of red trickled from the slow exhale.
Fenris drew close to the Queen of Darkness now, her gait a quick trot as she chased the mistress of the League of Villains, her open maw and glaring eyes pushed close to her crushed chest. The demon hound's teeth nearly touched the woman's face as she thrust her head down. Persephone said something to the wolf- Fenris couldn't hear over the roar of hellfire from her mouth, although she was sure it was something derogatory- and raised her hands to cast some cowardly spell or the other. Having none of this, Death's Bride snapped her jaws shut and punched a paw forward. Persephone's raised hands flew back as she stopped sliding, and then the demon woman was bent in half as Fenris plunged a row of razor claws into her damaged torso. Blood and sparks sprayed up as the Hellhound Queen ripped through the worn armor and into tanned flesh, blood touching her lips as red droplets scattered from the witch's torn midriff. Persephone groaned and snarled at once as her middle was gored by cupped paw of the wolf.
Curling her gnarled claws and rearing, Fenris lifted her body up and dragged Persephone after. Gravity tugged down at the throne queen of Hell, and she soon slid from Fenris's talons with a broad spout of red. The blood spilling from the woman's slashed gut was vaporized into crimson mist as heat gathered within all three of the chimera's frontal jaws. Persephone's eyes went wide as Fenris's narrowed.
Like a three-pronged bolo of fire and blood, the UCA champion launched three hellfire blasts into the chest of the sorceress.
Smoke erupted upwards as Persephone was slammed down by a triple explosion, the rock and sand beneath her cratered like putty. The armor covering her torso was nothing but jagged metallic flower petals now, the metal peeled outwards like silverish ocean waves. A thick river of red spilled from the clenched jaws of the demon woman, staining her jawline and neck. Blood pooled across the cracked earth that held her head. Although her chest remained covered by the fitting black fabric she normally wore, only the edges scalded, Persephone's dark midriff was revealed completely and marked by a wide streak of red. Talons wavering with inky shadows and jaws swinging open as she dropped down, Fenris aimed her night-clad claws at the wounded torso of Hell's Ruler...

Persephone would have none of it. Before the shadowy claws could attack, Fenris felt more sharp pains spike through her body. The very blood that was littering the sand had been formed into bloody daggers, and had impaled themselves into Fenris! The Hellhound's control was lost as the pain gripped her. This game Persephone enough time to retake her offense. Fenris had already rendered a good chunk of her armor useless, and she wanted to keep what remained there. Her hands clasped together, and lines of energy crisscrossed across the desert around Fenris. The Hellhound seemed almost amused by this. Was Persephone really that stupid to think she'd be trapped by these lines she could just hop over? The last of the icicles melting away, she leapt over the grid toward Persephone...
A terrible, terrible mistake on her part, for at that moment, she fired twin spheres of energy at the leaping canine. She had no time to react, and she was engulfed by the two spheres nailing her at once. Her form was blasted hundreds of meters across the sand, her fur burnt and her hide charred from the impact site of the spheres.
Persephone grinned. She still had more tricks up her sleeve than Fenris realized. Her sword materializing in her hands, she waited as Fenris rose, and the Chimera charge at her, before she swung the blade. SHe was too slow, however, as Fenris rammed her, knocking the air out of her lungs and driving her onto her back. In an instant, Fenris was upon her, jaws aiming for her throat. A sword swing to the side of the head caused Fenris to back off, blood having been drawn from the hit that nailed the demon in the lower jaw. Rising to her feet, Persephone swung the sword again, this time faster than she had before, hoping to catch Fenris off-guard...

Although the second slice came in many times faster than the first, Fenris had eight narrowed eyes on the blade this time. As the metallic blur closed the distance in a split second, the hound blocked it handily, her leftmost dragon head twisting to the side and catching the weapon on its curled horns and spiky scalp. Bright sparks and small pieces of hard scaly tissue burst from the sudden impact, a reddish ring briefly slashing through the air.
Persephone pressed into the bony plate that her sword rested upon with its polished edge, but the metal simply couldn't cleave the flesh, not with its long edge at least. The Hellhound Queen slitted her venomous yellow eyes in disgust, unamused by this useless attempt to harm her. She hardly considered the demon woman a threat, but the insult remained, as well as the promise. The horrible, horrible promise that all life was held to, the promise she had finally become aware of in the famed Ujiak Free For All- death. Persephone had tried to harm her. Harm lead to injury, injury lead to danger, danger lead to death.
Shining orbs narrowed.
She would not die again.
With a wave of bunching fur, the Hound of Death thrust her body forward like a great hairy spring! The black horns of the wolf's gnarled dragon skull bit into Persephone like warped spears, their curled tips eating through the mangled remains of her armor and into her flesh, the tanned meat reduced to gore by their jagged ridges. Rivers of blood also fell from where the sorcerer's blade had been pressed into her midsection, opening the skin and teasing the soft tissue beneath with gentle pressure. The Queen of Darkness curled back her lips in anger, pain flickering bright behind her eyes. Pulsing anger joined the pale agony-flames and the Ruler of Hell retaliated with a sneer. Hauling her sword high- hissing as it slid across her own midriff with a liquid spurt- she titled its tip towards the scowling form of Fenris and stabbed down. The blade plunged into the devil' right shoulder, punching through pelt, skin, and blood vessels to dice her muscle like bleeding rubber. A sharp yelp escaped the wolf, and her angry eyes flashed upwards like laser pointers. The central and rightmost jaws angled up and filled with orange demon flame. The wolf's snarling muzzle was turned into the Devil's corridor by the hellish firelight, her teeth becoming towering ivory columns and her eyes the molten handles to Death's door.
Like a double cannon shot, Persephone was rocked by two hellfire blasts!
The twin explosions of black smoke and crimson flame launched the Bane of the Underworld back like a rag doll, her limbs flying limply and her chest trailing char. Hot blood splattered the sand beneath her arcing flight path. The she-devil, recovered fast that Fenris had predicted in her sulky skull, twisted her mass and pointed both feet towards the ground, her knees loose and ready to buckle and roll. Barking in frustration, Fenris threw her head down and dove into the inky shadow beneath her, her jagged pelt vanishing with a few ink drops of darkness.
Persephone smirked as she drew nearer to the ground, her shadow rushing up to meet her like a shaded landing pad.
Then the inky pool rippled, and blazing yellow shards opened from within.
Like a shark jumping from a stained sea, Fenris lunged up and thrust her bloodied horns at Persephone!
The master of all demonkind cried out as she came down hard on the wicked set of horns, the dark flesh of her left hip and inner right thigh pierced like painted targets, the armor atop them nothing but shrapnel twisted into points and embedded in the wounds. Dull pain launched up the woman's legs and spine like pillars of white fire. The royal witch wrinkled her face in fury as she struggled to stay upright, fighting not to fall over and rip out the inside of her bikini area. She was forced to hug tightly to the very horns that gored her as she wobbled and wavered and teetered, and her legs wrapped around Fenris's sneering muzzle in a grip she considered far too intimate for such a bloodthirsty brute. The armored female fighter found her cheeks burning as red as her wounded torso, anger bubbling up to her head. But even as she struggled, the Queen of Darkness made time to be thankful that neither horn had slipped between her legs. That would have turned this match into an entirely different kind of show.
Broad splatters of blood wet Fenris's face as she balanced her foe atop her left head, her lips drawing high over hooked fangs as she tasted the red life essence showering her like rain. The corner of the wolf's mouth twisted and curled. Her nostrils twitched greedily. Her wide, slimy tongue slurped against the roof of her mouth halfheartedly, trapping the coppery flavor. The eyes of the chimera glistened softly. She had forgotten how... good blood tasted.
Drawing herself up high and setting her paws hard into the earth, Fenris growled like a rumbling construction vehicle and cast her heads to one side, trying to unbalance Persephone and throw the demon woman down, where her horns would rip her open and bleed her out from the most private of areas...

That would not come to pass... no, Persephone would NOT allow that to happen! At the same moment Fenris trued to do that, A terrible pain struck Fenris's side. The hellhound howled in rage and agony as the blade of Persephone sliced into its shoulder, cutting through flesh and muscle like they were molten butter. Normally, a mere sword swing like that wouldn't concern the Hellhound... but the ice that had been on it and was now spreading into her opened wound, freezing up the blood and causing blood vessels to pop and be speared was. The pain caused by this game Persephone just what she needed to push Fenris's horns out of her with one final shove. Persephone stepped back, hands on the wounds caused by Fenris's horns. At first, there was silence, as she looked at the blood coming from the injury, then at the Hellhound, who was also doing her best to ignore the ice in her wound and glaring at Persephone as well...
Playtime was over. She was done going easy on Fenris.
But before Persephone could move, A blast of Hellfire blew her off her feet and crashing into the sand. The hot sand only stung further against her bleeding injuries, and Persephone gritted her teeth as she got back up, Fenris grinning perhaps the most sadistic and twisted smile she had ever seen on a living thing... The pain hurt, yes, but she could still fight. She pointed her sword toward Fenris, and a beam of energy flew out. At the same time, the Hellhound fired her own Hellfire beam, and the two collided. Both attacks warped and pushed against one another, back and forth...
Until the Master Spark pushed the Hellfire beam right back into Fenris's mouth and exploded!
Smoke and blood blew out as Fenris's demented howls echoed across the desert. Persephone could see fangs and skin fly up from the explosion, and she charged forward into the smoke. She thrust her blade in...
and felt nothing. There was no flesh for the sword to dig into, no more howls of pain... just nothing. Persephone swore as she had her blade dematerialize. Fenris had dodged that... but now, where was she? As the smoke cleared, she could see there was no trace of the Hellhound in sight... where had she gone to?
A movement out of the corner of her eye alerted the Hellian Queen to danger. Suddenly, everything seemed to slow down. The shadows beneath her melding into Fenris's jaws about to clasp down on her legs, her leaping back to avoid the attack, it was all slow... why? Why did this seem so familiar to her?
_______
9,210 years ago.
Persephone lay on her back, watching as the sea of glass above shimmered and flowed. She was in her mother's front yard, the courtyard of the Palace of Pandemonium, the very center of the kingdom of Makai, the ancestoral home of demonkind. She was a young demon, with the appearance of a 10 year old. Her dark skin soaked in the unholy light from above, and her clothes were of demonic royalty. This was to be expected, because she was the daughter of the Goddess of the Demonic Realm. Yet today, there seemed to be nothing going on. Her mother was inside, the gatekeeper was on lunch break, her usual friends hadn't been over... there was no one he-
"Why hello there? Is Shinki here?" a voice called out from the front gate. The young demon looked up, and noticed a woman, one she had never seen before, standing on the other side of the gate. She was tall, and had long golden hair and purple eyes. She had an umbrella behind her back in one hand, and a fan in the other, and wore a dress that to her seemed to look more like a nightgown than a proper dress. Wait... why was there someone here? Mother never said anything about a guest coming over today.
"Um, yes she is, but she's busy right now. Perhaps if you came by tomorrow." Persephone shouted to the guest as she came near. Now that she was closer, she could tell this guest was tall, VERY tall, and she smelled funny... her nails were colored crimson red, and were the source of the smell. Persephone knew, just from the scent, they were covered in poison, and a very deadly variety at that.
"Oh, is that the case?" The woman said, as if upset by this. "A shame, really. But you, my child, look absolutely delightful. Your Shinki's daughter? It's a shame she hasn't introduced me to you. The name's Yukari, what's yours?" She held out a hand through the gate.
"It's Persephone. Persephone Auziras."
Yukari had a faint smile on her face as she shook her hand. "Great to meet you, Persephone. Now this may sound like an odd question to you, but are you any good at fighting?"
Persephone's eyebrows furrowed. "Um, I was told not to fight. It's not how proper demons are to act. Fighting is for bru-"
She was cut off by the older woman's laughter. "Oh dear, is that what Shinki's telling you? That angel... No, she has it wrong, dear. You see, fighting is what makes demons like you what you are. You live and breathe in combat. You are by nature an entity that should be on your guard at all times." She said, stamping her umbrella to the ground.
Persephone was confused by this. She felt as if what the lady was saying was right, and yet, what her mother had taught her was how she should be... who... who was this stranger?
A sound like a tear in fabric caused her eyes to drift downward, and she screamed in fright. Below her feet, was a rift in space, as if a zipper had been opened in the fabric of existence. On the other side, were countless eyes that stared back at her, and hands that reached out for her. Persephone leapt back...
And threw energy amulets at the rising form of Fenris. The Hellhound's jaws had barely missed the Hellian Queen, and her eyes widened as the amulets struck. The explosions that came afterward knocked her to the side, the chimera's form detatched from the shadows. Now that she was exposed, Persephone grinned at what she saw. The main head of the dog was horribly shredded and bleeding from what she had done to it. Flesh and fur had been blown off, and blood was oozing out of the main mouth and off the wounds. Many of her teeth were missing, their gums screaming in agony. "Well well, has the poor dog learned what happens when they want to take a fight to the next level?" Persephone gloated, her hands crossed as she leaned on her good leg, trying to avoid unneeded pressure on her injured one. "When you fight a true demon, you're going to get horribly mangled, and in this case, it's only going to get worse for you."
Here, she snapped her fingers, and the energy flowed from her to produce an electrical version of Mara, the energy familiar growling as it eyed Fenris. The lightning fox lunged at the downed Hellhound, as if wanting revenge for their fight on the mountain...if only it had been the real Mara...

The hound bellowed like a berserker and bound forward, slamming her bulk into the electric apparition. The lightning manifest broke apart across Fenris's bloodied pelt, but stabbed electric spears into the flesh of the wolf in retribution, a million volts behind each point. The devil seemed to swell to twice her size, the terrible charge making every hair on her body leap up like a tiny quill. Fenris screamed, smoke pouring from her pelt and sparks falling from her open open jaws and rolling eyes, but the demon continued barreling forward like the ancient terror she was, her electrified form moving at Persephone like a lightning-struck freight train. Although the sorceress tried to move from the path of the crackling hellhound, she was blasted back by the wolf's full weight.
Fenris crushed down on Persephone, her broken armor crumpling, her foe's fur still coursing with lightning. The woman gasped as the wolf's enormous charge was shared, her armored body stiffening like some banned line of Barbie dolls from a twisted toymaker. The summoned electric phantom of Mara howled mournfully as half her fury pumped into Persephone, surging beneath her ruined armor like ionized venom. As if by suicide, the moaning familiar fizzled into nothing by a mindless electric charge that ravaged both demons without prejudice.
The two queens, tangled and twisted together like dueling hellions, screamed under the agony of a billion volts, each fried within their respective shells, fur for the wolf and armor for the woman, flames curling from the flesh of both.
Fenris could not help but think how beautiful that was.
Persephone eventually fought off the suffering racking her body under the huge voltage, rage and indignation rushing through her head like adrenaline and freeing her frozen muscles. She dislodged Fenris with a rapid series of kicks to the hound's abdomen. The charred form of the wolf stumbled some as her gut knotted painfully, but her smoking head soon lifted with a savage sneer. Flame rose behind the devil dog's scowl, making her sharp teeth glow translucently. A demonic blade materialized between Persephone's thin fingers, and a new showdown began.
A hellfire beam and a Master Spark slammed into each other, each supernatural force fighting against the other for dominance. Like before, the Master Spark began to push back the demon flames, the turbulent joint between the two rays drawing closer to Fenris, but the chimera tripled her efforts to combat this. Two more red-orange beams, streamed from the hound's dragon heads, slammed into the mix. Persephone hissed with hatred as she slid backwards across the sandy earth, her heels gouging the ground, her advantage turned into a handicap in one swoop.
Like colliding stars, all four beams crashed into the Queen of Darkness and catapulted her back with a blossom of flames and smoke. Persephone, her torso trailing blood and ash, was sent skidding across the ground like a woman rammed by a car, mangled armor and meat falling off her with every bounce.
Fenris, her three frontal jaws snapping shut, danced forward on lanky legs, her primal form diving into the curling fireball that still hung in the air. She did not emerge from the other side. As the Ruler of Hell pushed to her feet, teeth gritted in pain, a dark shape emerged from behind her, risen from her shadow like a yellow-eyed nightmare. Persephone expected Fenris to careen into her from dead ahead, such an unabashed tackle typical of the blunt Hellhound Queen, but Death's Bride instead struck from behind. Like a reaping shadow, the wold lashed out with three gnarled claws! The thin talon raked across the back of Persephone's silver chest piece, sending up sparks and fire. Each claws was possessed by an infernal glow, gifted with the heat of hell. The demonic armor, weakened by the electric might of the ghostly Mara, parted with only moderate protest. The master of all demonkind grunted in surprise, her pale hair thrown back as her head fell. Three long furrows marked her back now, each jagged slice spurting blood. Predicting another swipe from the merciless hound, the dark queen danced away, spinning to face her foe with sword raised high.
Instead of throwing herself at the woman with jaws open, Fenris merely stood her ground, her claws digging into the dead earth. The wolf's jaws hung open, slack and drooling blood and saliva, her blood-soaked tongue dripping red. The eyes of the demon were misted by thought. She did not attack, she did not sink into her own shadow. She only stood still. Slowly, the maw of the devil worked up and down, her tongue slapping against the roof of her mouth.
Fenris was remembering how fun fighting was.

Persephone stood there as well, breath rigid and controlled. Fenris hit harder and faster than she had anticipated. and yet... she wanted to think the Hellhound was in far worse shape than she was. She knew it was a lie, but believing that made her feel better. Her own injuries... her very flesh laying scattered along the desert, it was rather ironic. The Hellish queen collapsed onto her rear, and laughed, and laughed, much to Fenris's confusion. It was a fight much like this one that had started her path to where she was now. a fight against a strong opponent... only it was a lot more one-sided...
"Wha-What happened to you?" Shinki gasped as she saw the charred and smoking form of her daughter walk in through the front door. They were within the crystal palace of Pandemonium, the palace from which Shinki ruled her realm. The Worried and traumatized Fallen Angel had the same white hair as her daughter, but her skin was much mightier in contrast to the dark skin of Persephone, and she wore red robes all over her. 6 dark purple wings made of pure energy beat from her back. She ran to and hugged her daughter, who had burns all over her, and was missing some teeth. yet despite the pain she no doubt was in, Persephone wasn't crying, but laughing.
"I met this woman, and she asked if she wanted to fight me." Persephone croaked, smoke rising from her mouth. "I agreed, and I lost instantly. I'm sorry I couldn't win."
"Why did you even pick a fight?" Shinki asked as she placed her hand on Persephone's forehead, a wave of green energy washed out from it, and the injuries on Persephone's body melted away, as if she had never been hurt at all. "I told you it's not proper behavior to pick fights. And who did this to you?" The Fallen Angel's eyes began to turn a dark red color, and purple lightning crackled between her fingertips.
"She seemed like a very interesting lady. She had this big umbrella, and a beautiful dress." Persephone said, oblivious to the sudden eye widening her mother did. "She said her name was Yukari Ya"
"No..." Was all Shinki said, cutting off her daughter. "Why her, why must she torment me like this? First that damn fiasco with the Celestial King, and now my own daughter... Why can't she just leave me alone? Why not release the Maluvor from their prison and have them run amock then lay a finger on..." The anger in her eyes faded away to fear, and she collapsed, her eyes starring blankly into Persephone's own. "I'm sorry, Persephone, but that woman is nothing but trouble. Stay away from her at all costs, please."
"But mom-"
"I said stay away from her, and that's final. I don't want to go through any more pain than I already have" the Goddess of Makai's head drooped low, and she curled up. Persephone could see tears coming down her mother's face, human tears. That was when she felt it, an odd desire within her soul. That woman made her mother cry? How powerful was she? Persephone clenched her hand tight. She would get stronger, she would prove her mother wrong. That woman wasn't an unstoppable monster...
Persephone laughed as she recalled that day. It was odd, how that woman had become a friend of hers. She had started off wanting nothing more than to prove her mother wrong, and now, there was such strain between them. Of course, Yukari had proven to be a far more powerful bitch than she could have ever imagined, and yet, she had also taught Persephone more about demon nature than her own mother had. How to fight, what to do, how to act, how to rule, how to make others fear you, those had all been Yukari's gifts to her, as well as a small fraction of her power.
And here, she would use that power to win this fight.
Apparently, Fenris had gotten bored of the impromptu starring match, for several fireballs exploded into Persephone's face. The Hellian Queen was blasted onto her back, She screamed in pain as she grabbed her face, the demoness thrashing back and forth. Taking this to her advantage, Fenris leapt forward, claws glowing with darkness...
but Persephone knew it was coming, and rolled to the side, Fenris landing where she had been just moments before. Sword still in hand, Persephone rolled back, and thrust it into Fenris's side, her face and eyes steaming from the fire. Fenris cackled in rage as the blade drew blood, but Persephone wasn't done yet...
No, she'd make an ice statue out of Fenris!
ice began to freeze the blood of the fiery hound, and Fenris groaned and howled in agony as blood vessels and arteries burst apart. The pain, it was horrendous for the Chimera. she collapsed onto her knees, as blood began pouring from her mouth and eyes, only for that blood to freeze as well. It hurt... it hurt a lot...
and Persephone laughed. "Remember Black Dragon, Fenris?" Persephone taunted as she withdrew the blade. At once, the freezing ended, and the molten blood of the Hellhound melted the ice, but the massive internal damage was done. Organs had been speared into, and there was great bleeding internally. "He humiliated you infront of the other Legion members... Now, I shall do the same as well, but this will be far worse than what that idiot did." She hissed, her hand petting Fenris's main head. "Isn't that right, puppy." SHe laughed as she leapt out of the way as one of the dragon heads tried to bite down onto her. She could tell she was fuming with rage and anger...
but alas, it was time for a trump card to play.
The sword vanished, and twin boxes of energy formed around the two, one encompassing only Fenris, and the other both Fenris and Persephone. Even with the blood dripping from her wounds, Persephone began hurling amulets, energy spheres, and anything else she could into the outermost wall, those projectiles homing in right on Fenris as they appeared into the innermost cube...

The skull of the wolf pulled back into a hideous sneer at the mere mention of the idiot dragon's name, and her savage scowl continued even as she was bombarded with every form of energy projectile Persephone could conjurer. A low, hateful rush of air escaped the hound as her body was pounded by a million explosions, her legs wobbling and her dense flesh blasting apart like damaged earth and soil. Blood and fire flew from the demon's coat like sparks, and her eyes rolled up to flash hideous white, like a beast possessed. Persephone at first thought that the chimera was shutting down in her great agony, but as the seven seconds of punishment ended and the barrier lifted, revealing a perfect square of blood-soaked earth, the Dark Queen could see that flames still enveloped her foe's ragged form, sparking still falling from her pelt like molten tears.
The sorceress curled her lips in disgust as she witnesses the wolf's burning coat eat away at her body, turning solid flesh into a sort of liquified shadow that swirled and spiraled around the dissolving shape of the hound. The Ruler of Hell spat, confused and sickened by the display of raw demonic essence that consumed Fenris like a plague. Was the three-headed freak finally giving up and committing some form of extravagant suicide?
Sword rematerialized in her hand, the Bane of the Underworld sent energy up its blade from her spine, planning to scatter the inky form of the changing wolf with a Master Spark, but an enormous BOOM! like a cannon interrupted and nearly toppled her.
With a shrieking howl that would make even the most fierce beasts treading in the deepest parts of Hell draw back in fear, Fenris exploded into her dreaded form of ultimate damnation and launched towards Persephone like a beam of darkness!
Untouchable claws hard as nails ripped into the Dark Queen's exposed midsection, piercing the torn flesh there and setting hooked anchors like lethal stingers from angry bees. Persephone yelped as she felt the most private reaches of her body invaded, shadowy tendrils looping deep into her flesh and spreading out, blooming like serrated fans. The deathly infection spread quickly, filling from the base of her neck to the very tips of her toes. At one point, the witch thought that she saw a black worm wriggling its way across her eye, although it was gone a blink latter.
Gripping her sword, the Ruler of Hell heaved it up, trying to cleave Fenris from her chops down, but- as she did- she screamed!
Fenris, displeased with her smug ape of a foe's move against her, had ripped her sprouting talons out, and the flailing tendrils took everything they touched with them. Like something a sadistic magician would dream up, an impossible string of tissue spilled from Persephone's body- muscle, marrow, bone, organs, blood, all fragmented and mulched together like a line of sausages. Nearly ninety meters of the mixed flesh uncoiled from Persephone, every inch of its alive and squiggling with living shadow, and- almost faster than the eye could track- the black form of Fenris had cast the long string of mangle flesh into her jaws.
The bloody rope boiled inside the wolf, burned into nothing by her blazing aurora. Nothing was left in second expect a smoky burp by the evil hound.
Face aghast at the brutal, sick display the wolf had created from her own cold tissues, Persephone shrieked away the pain and swung down like an avenging warrior, sending her sword cleaving straight down through the deadly shadow. The inky devil broke apart, ruptured by the hard edge of the blade, but just as easily swirled back together. As Persephone cut the ghost of Fenris in two, the shredded sections of the wolf pushed back together in the form a raging tube, an angry tornado horizontal to the ground. A twister that opened a fanged mouth wide and engulfed Persephone.
As the woman's armored legs vanished kicking into the toothy tunnel, the spinning column righted itself, rising up high like an elevated construct of man, a champion of a structure more than five hundred meters tall. Dust, rocks, and sand were all sucked into the bottom of the raging twister, but only blood and pained shouts and twisted pieces of armor exited the top, a geyser made from the spoils of Fenris's personal war. As a broad cloud of red formed above the tube, a literal cloud of blood bonded with the water and particulate mater in the air, the black twister broke in half and hurled Persephone out spitefully. The Queen of Hell skidded across the ground as half the demon she once was, much of her flesh and most of her armor shaved away. She moaned as dirt and grit pushed directly into her open wounds, littering her raw flesh without the protection of metal or skin.
Mortal form spiraling back into existence, Fenris solidified with a paw atop Persephone's head and a slight grin barring down on the limp witch. The wolf chuckled, the sound like a rumble of thunder to human ears and terror to all creatures, great and small.
That had been for the Black Dragon crack.
Fire and demon flames gathered in the hound's smirking jaws, and Death's Bride prepared to throw down a fireball into the back of Persephone's skull...

Injured, stuck where she was, and too hurt to move, Persephone could only endure the flames that exploded against the back of her head. Her white hair burnt and turned to ashes as she screamed, the very pain she was going through more than she had ever dealt with before. She had made a horrible, horrible mistake, and now she was suffering from it. As the flames burnt, Fenris's maws spread in sadistic glee at her handiwork. It was perfect... absolutely perfect. The bitch had gotten what she deserved, taunting her with that accursed name...
Yet as she admired what she had done, she failed to notice the sword in Persephone's hands being replaced with several amulets...
A flick of the wrist backwards sent the papers right into Fenris's wide, into the very stab wound created there earlier, and they exploded. The hellhound howled in rage and anger as her unholy blood and flesh exploded out from the area. She fell onto her side, as yet another pair of amulets flew into the same area, causing yet more blood and meat to blast out. As the chimera flailed about in pain, Persephone staggered up onto her feet. Her face seemed drained of blood, and she was shaky on her legs. She looked down at her very entrails dangling on the desert sand, the massive sea of blood laid around her and Fenris. "Okay, lesson learned. Never mention that idiot around the wolf." She coughed to herself, blood flying out. This was more than she had expected. Only a few times before had she been in this bad of condition. Her chances of winning were slim, very slim... She had lost so much blo-
Wait... the blood. That was it!
A thin, weak smile spread on her face as she controlled the liquid that was mixed with the sand. As Fenris tried to rise, the blood spiked upward as it froze, forming chains of ice that wrapped around the Hellhound and slammed her back into the burning sand. Fenris snarled as her maws were bound shut by the ice, and the blood rose up around her, jagged spikes forming as it froze, ready to impale Fenris from all sides...

The icy spears slammed into Hades's Hound from all sides, piercing her hellish flesh with their chilling tips and flash freezing the blood that spattered from meters-long gashes into jagged crystal blooms, blood red flower like the roses of the arctic. The red ice spread over her coat like a field of diamond flowers, covering the living, heaving flesh of the demon with cold nonlife that held it dead still, stopping the blazing life that was Fenris in its track. The wolf allowed a series of echoing howls to shake from her frost-muzzled jaws as she was covered in hard red petals, her meat rendered from bone by the expanding blossoms of ice. Persephone grinned as she watched the creeping ice consume her devilish foe, turning the savage hound into a pale, glossy statute twisted in pain and rage- an ice sculpture of perfect primal hatred. The woman laughed, the eyes of Hell's Ruler twinkling with mischief.
Perhaps she'd keep it, use it as a centerpiece for social events her court hosted. It would certainly be a real conversation-starter, and it was all the pitiful imposter of a queen deserved anyway.
Her smirk became an ugly scowl when raging fire glowed from behind the curled maws and slitted eyes of her steaming hound-shaped decoration.
Hot licks of flames burst from the ice covering the Hellhound Queen, the fire jumping and spinning like dancing imps through the air. The cackling fire shattering the cold prison of the wolf with a broad shower of crystal shards and slush. Persephone let out a biting scream as her unarmored torso was stung by sharp fragments of ice and flames, the unholy mix of death's frost and hell's fire boring into her unprotected flesh like the stinger of a satanic wasp. Steaming chunks of ice and wild lobs of fire crashed down all around the rocky landscape, vapor and smoke snaking behind them like evil serpents. The ash and water mixed to form toxic sludge that rained down on the dead landscape in black streaks that cut across the sky like bloody tears. Fenris, still shaking free the last of her icy tomb, continued spewing hellfire, her mad eyes lit by brilliant yellow beams of fear. The crazed wolf somehow cackled and spat fire at the same time, her splitting laughter razing the land. The wasteland of stone and sand was being transformed, changed by the demonic lanterns that raked it. The air filled with fire and smoke, poisonous black smog replacing the clouds in the sky. The rocky spires and boulders were warped into gnarled claws of porous, charred stone that pointed at the smoggy sky like accusing talons. The sand was melted into glowing slag that flowed across the ground like veins of lava before hardening into clear rivers of glass that held the light of Fenris's hell flames like long pupils, the eyes of a giant devil.
Persephone observed, wide-eyed, as the wasteland turned to Hell. But not the Hell she knew. This was a wild, untamed Hell. A Hell untouched by rules or order. Laughter echoed through the savage terrain like crashes of thunder, and a trembling shape stumbled from the burning sand to lock eyes with the Dark Queen. Yellow slits widened as the sorceress was greeted by a pearly grin of five-meter fangs. The shivering shape bent its long, gangly legs and the leapt for the armored female like a black nightmare marked by a starch white smile. Cackled bounced between the pouncing shadow and its quarry like traded gunfire.
With a horrible yowl like something from the devil's pet, Fenris lurched from the shadows and slammed into Persephone with a unearthly crow!
The Bitch Queen of the UCA was back!
Heavy paws crashed against Persephone's chest and knocked her backwards, Fenris falling atop her like a slavering guard dog. The two tumbled into a gout of fire rising from the ground, and Fenris pulled her kicking prey into the flames. As her grinning jaws vanished into the blaze, they parted and unleashed a bolt of fire that streaked up high into the air. A moment later, the fireball swelled and birthed both Fenris and Persephone into the world. The Queen of Hell went stiff as she looked down and saw how many thousands of meters she was in the air. Taking advantage of the woman's temporary lapse in action, the wolf took hold of the nape of her armor with her central head, her thick fangs crunching through the lipped metal with ease. The sneering dragon heads atop her shoulders lifted up, angling their reptilian maws high. The fanged jaws cracked open with twin streams of hellish heat, scorching two paths of fire in the air. Under the influence of the dual jet streams, the wolf and her prey began moving down, plunging towards the earth at an rapidly increasing speed. Snapped from her daze by the cool air blasting through her hair, Persephone let her eyes go wide as she saw the ground, stitched together by silvery lines of light, rushing up to meet her.
The lifeless ground cratered as Persephone was crushed under Fenris in a rocket-powered piledriver into a 500-meter crisscross of glass!
The sky came alive with flashes of light as the flickering trails of hellfire sprouting from the ground were reflected through both flying droplets of blood and glimmering shards of glass, a string of pain run between hundreds of broken fragments and spilled drops. The BOOM! of pulverized earth and the terrible cackles of the Hound of Death covered the strangled screams of the Underworld's Scourge as her chest and skull were caved in against hard, black earth dampened by her own life essence. Glass and blood was spread for nearly a mile across the dark dreamscape created by Fenris in her joyous return to madness, small bits of Persephone cast thousands of feet from where her body laid strewed and broken under the paws of Fenris. The wolf grinned with insanity brewing in her head and laughter growing in her chest. For a moment, the devil merely cackled over the ruined body of her foe. Still giggling, she lifted her luminous eyes and threw them across the world she had created. She grinned, liking the flames and destruction held in her evil orbs. The recipe for the perfect home- a flood of flames, a sweep of smoke, a drizzle of poison, and just a dash of mangled enemy flesh.
Persephone stirred under her paws, groaning into the wet earth. Fenris growled and peered down at the scattered white hair of the woman, its silk spread across her head and back like a bird or angle protesting the violence of the wolf. Drawing her lips back, the sadistic chimera used one paw to rake a long trio of bloody furrows down the witch's back, slicing through any armor that remained intact across her shoulder blades and spines and spilling a fresh new well of bubbling liquid. The other set of claws pressed down on Persephone's skull, holding it firm as the teeth of the wolf's central head tangled themselves in the pale hair that seemed to mock her. Chuckling, the demon prepared to rock back her grinning skull and rip the fair locks from the woman's stupid, smug head...

OOC: I'm sorry. my schedule has been hectic as hell, and I've ran out of moves for Persephone to use... I forfeit. White flag, ladies and gentlemen. I hand this to Hayes. I just can't find the motivation to continue this bloodbath. We already knew Fenris was gonna win...
