(Oh crap. Didn't realize it was my turn.)
Drakia was trapped within a vortex of pain and disorientation. She tried howling her rage, but her voice was lost within the ravaging spiral. Venom raged through her veins, numbing her brutalized flesh and tissue. Blood oozed across her body in close knits rivers, creeping into her eyes and blinding her, making her oblivious to the fate she hurtled towards. One of her lean flanks was pained and tender from a hard impact, a collision that her knotted skull had taken square on its bony crown. Her thin scalp was gone, replaced by a spilling pool of blood that stretched across her head like an ocean. The limp reptile was helpless as she was picked up and thrown again, her ragged body cartwheeling madly through the air, what little remained of her bright red fin membrane flapping noisily in the wind.
Blinking the life essence from her eyes, Drakia saw that she was flopping towards another cold, merciless face of stone ready to splatter her skin and flesh like a hammer's edge, and her body beat against the confines of its suffering in anger, her whole body trembling in hatred. The lizard's outrage had spiked like an erupting volcano. Her blood pressure built sharply, defying the thinning effects of Suchodon's drooled toxin. Adrenaline surged through the lizard's broken body, empowering muscle and bone that had only moments before been beaten. Like a spitting cat, the reptile swelled.
Then, jaws cracking open, she popped.
With a shriek that grated Suchodon's ears like saw teeth, Drakia unfolded, pounded all four limbs against the cliff, audible cracks! coming from both the rocky surface and her aged legs, and then she bounded off the vertical ledge.
She shot towards Suchodon with jaws open and claws extended like barbed daggers. Another screech danced from her yawning maw.
The Ash Queen was in a blood rage!
The skeletal tail of the psychotic beast slapped the air hard, and Drakia's soaring body was thrown into a furious spin. Claws coming together to form the jagged tip of a drill, the murderous lizard whirled towards her heroic foe and impacted against his armored back. Spiny scutes flew as Drakia raked against them, her twirling form ripping scales off and casting them aside as she bore into the tender flesh beneath. Suchodon bellowed as the soft meat under his armor coat was ripped asunder by rotating claws and teeth, blood spraying high into the air as if from a broken fire hydrant. Instinctively, the titanic reptile rolled, dropping to the ground and tumbling away. Drakia fell to the ground with a low huff, the wind knocked from her lungs. Leaping to his feet, Suchodon wasted no time in throwing his head down and nailing Drakia's skull with his chin, parting the taunt hide that was pulled tight over her bones. The lizard yowled, a red ring formed around her head, but when Suchodon lifted his bloodied jaws up, Drakia clung to them like a demon.
The immense crocodile tried tossing the demented creature off, swinging his head in great bloody arcs that scattered droplets of red for a hundred meters in all directions, but she hung onto his skewered flesh with tenacious saberfangs. Her black head twisted, pulling Suchodon's jaw away from its socket and causing the green titan to groan in pain. Connective tissue popped and tore as the burnt lizard threatened to rip the mandible of the hero right out of place. As he struggled to prevent such grand torture, the sadistic monster flicked her tail up and pierced his unprotected gut. The crocodile yelped as the dagger-like tip of her fleshless tail plunged deep into his underbelly, where the cruel fire born beast rattled the joints of the skeletal whip together like the dried scales of a rattlesnake's tail. The vibrating vertebrae ripped flesh and organs apart inside the hero, spilling great globs of blood from him like some nightmarish form of childbirth, the formation of the satanic imps that tormented the damned and damnable.
Purring pained roars from the other reptile echoed in her ears, Drakia braced her limbs against the underside of the crocodile and prepared to rip outwards with her S-shaped neck, her bloodthirsty intent being to tear his jaw completely out of alignment...

Sensing this, Suchodon acts quickly to prevent it. Slamming both sets of claws into Drakia’s neck, he holds her in place. She tries repeatedly to push away from him, but the chimera’s strength and claws anchor her firmly. In an attempt to get her to let go of his jaw, Suchodon begins twisting and working his claws even deeper into Drakia’s neck. Instead of releasing, the charred reptile digs her own claws into his underside in response, drawing forth even more streams of blood from the hero.
The two monsters remain like this for a while, having apparently reached a stalemate. Drakia has the disadvantage of her opponent’s claws being in her neck, though, and they soon start to restrict her breathing and the blood supply to her brain. After a few more seconds, Drakia’s grips begin to loosen. After a few more, her hands and feet lose their hold entirely, allowing Suchodon to pull her jaws free of his own mandible.
With his opponent in a semi-conscious state, Suchodon lowers her to the ground and plants his foot on her chest. Then he rears back, ripping his claws out of her neck in a fountain of gore. Snapped back to consciousness by the sudden damage, Drakia tries to shriek in agony, but all that comes out is a gurgle as her throat is flooded with hot blood. But even that is quickly cut off as Suchodon thrusts his head down and slams his jaws shut directly on the gaping wound. He shakes his head, further shredding flesh around the wound. With little to get in its way, venom seeps freely into Drakia’s bloodstream, dilating blood vessels and interfering with nerve impulses. A feeling of coldness begins to spread through Drakia’s body as the venom spreads, her blood pressure plummeting to dangerous levels. If she doesn’t break free soon, she’ll black out again...

Drakia wheezed as she bled out from the neck, her life blood gushing directly down Suchodon's throat as he grappled her throat with ivory railroad spikes. The aging monster groaned, splattering red across her scarred lips. The venom raging through her veins was making her remember how old she was. Hate flickered in the yellow eyes of the killer. But she had yet to die either. The black body of the broken animal tensed, knots of muscle rearing from beneath taunt, charred skin. As long as Drakia lived, she would fight. That was one thing that had survived the fires of Phenoraixa- a stubborn refusal to fall, both against larger, more powerful enemies and the passing of time itself.
Drakia had survived two ages of monsters, the most feared creature on Earth H-594, and raising five chicks. There was no way she'd die here to an overgrown crocodile.
The lizard curled her body up like a dying snake, her limbs visibly trembling. Her long back legs flopped themselves over her foe's body and caught on his scaly back with vicious hooked claws. The gnarled talons merely gripped the broad scutes, not pierced them. The skeletal tail of the ash demon flicked up, swatting at the head of the green titan. Suchodon snorted, watching, annoyed and suspicious, as the dead length of fleshless bone bounced off his ajar muzzle. The guardian was not so naive to assume it was just some pathetic attempt to deter him. This was a tactic- one that was surely cruel in intent and unusual in nature. The croc tried angling his head away, removing his snout from the reach of the flailing bone whip, but, in doing so, he revealed the open side profile of his long jaws. Like a homing missile, the weakly wobbling tail suddenly lurched into his maw like a scorpion stinger, rattling against two rows of white teeth as it landed flat on his tongue. The eyes of the hero widened.
Like a razor-edged paddle, the skeleton tail rattled and whirled!
Suchodon bellowed in agony as his mouth erupted into a scarlet geyser, his elongated skull blasted back by the liquid burst. The green titan responded to the massive soft tissue trauma by quickly opening and closing his jaws on Drakia's neck several times, rendering solid flesh into red mush with a few gore-filled splatters, but there was no contest between the mutilation of lightly armored hide and the soft pink flesh of the mouth. With a gurgling moan that scattered blood droplets across the ground like warm rain, Suchodon was forced away from Drakia. The vengeful predator chases after the retreating chimera with a gush of ash, spewing the black soot into his screaming jaws, his lungs and throat flooding with particulate matter. The roars of the green hero became an octave higher as his eyes filled with tears. The bellows of outrage from the beast were polluted by coughs as he tried to expel the poison from his lungs. There would be no relief for him though, from both his toxic ailment and his merciless foe.
Drakia's head sawed wildly through the ash cloud and lunged towards Suchodon. The fanged head of the killer lizard reared over the long jaws of the crocodile, then hacked down into the base of his skull. Suchodon screamed as he felt somethings serrated and solid wedge between his spine and skull, forcing his head down like a bent plank of wood. Blood sprayed up from the back of the croc's head, its red warmth showing Drakia like a twisted child's toy screwed into the hose. Yowling and drinking up all the iron tang that touched her tongue, the Ash Queen rocked her killing head into the hero, trying to part his head from his neck...!

However, instead of fighting against Drakia’s motion, Suchodon goes with it. Lunging forward as Drakia tries to dig her fangs in deeper, he simultaneously extricates her fangs from his neck and brings himself within striking range for his own counterattack, turning his head sideways and opening his jaws as wide as they’ll go in the process. He’s still blinded by ash, but at the same time he knows Drakia is right in front of him. The instant he feels contact, Suchodon’s jaws slam shut like a vice. A crunch and a gush of blood, followed by a yowl of pain from Drakia, tells him he struck his mark. The size of it, combined with its relatively sturdy resistance to his jaw pressure, tells him he’s got his jaws wrapped around his opponent’s rib cage.
With that, Suchodon pushes forward, twisting his torso partially sideways to bring his claws to bear. He blindly swings, taking his best guess at targeting. His left arm, on the upper side, comes down on the base of her neck, the claws burying themselves and lodging in the sinew around her clavicle. His right arm, meanwhile, swings upward, ripping a trio of gouges up her abdomen before being stopped by -and consequently hooking under- the bottom end of her sternum.
Now with his grip secured, Suchodon drops his feet out from under himself, letting gravity pull both him and his opponent to the ground. Drakia tries to resist, but the weight is too much and she’s dragged down as well. Once she realizes she can’t fight it, she turns her efforts against Suchodon himself, clawing and biting at him as best she can given the somewhat awkward positioning and her inability to change that.
Suchodon ignores it though. Even as Drakia tears into him with teeth and claws alike, he holds fast. He opens his jaws momentarily, then slams them shut again, biting down with the full extent of his power. A wet crunch issues from the area as her ribs are visibly depressed far more than they naturally should go, making Drakia wheeze in agony as the air is forcibly squeezed out of her lungs. After keeping up the pressure for a few seconds, Suchodon releases and then immediately tries to bite down again just as hard. He’s trying to pulverize her rib cage!

Like a long club lined by teeth, Suchodon slammed his jaws down onto Drakia, compressing her scrawny torso with a monstrously huge bite. The old reptile wheezed, blood and mucus leaking from her lungs and out of her snarling mouth as she whipped her head about in agony. Messy crescents of wet red were spread across the rocky landscape with each swing of her skull. The land was painted by her suffering. Horrifying cracks! came from her crushed chest, loud as gunshots, her ribs popping like a stiff plant stalk between squeezing fingers. A fresh wave of blood came rushing from the lizard's slack jaws as her slender breastplate was broken into pieces by Suchodon's grip. The old monster gurgled on the blood gathering in her jaws, but she gurgled with anger. Drakia was old, but it was still too soon to die. The charred horror, terrible even under the enemy tooth, lifted up her bone-sharp claws and hissed so loud that the scarred skin was lifted up from her lips.
It would always be too soon for her to die! And never soon enough for the enemy!
Like reaping blades, the claws of the Ash Queen plunged. Suchodon squeezed his reptilian eyes shut with both lids as the gnarled talons pierced the soft flesh just under his slitted orbs. The jagged tips of the splintered nails dug all the way down to the bone, then raked outwards. Suchodon released Drakia with a long, pained bellow as six ivory tears raced down from his sockets, hot blood spilling into the bone-deep furrows as he slung his head in wild agony. Her lungs freed to fill with air, Drakia slashed the air with a swirling spray of ash. Suchodon flicked clear nictitating membranes across his narrowed eyes and lifted his head high, away from the larger, heavier particles that might do serious damage to his orifices. The green chimera drew air carefully through his teeth, scenting for the distinct scent of burnt flesh and fury that hung onto Drakia like male musk. She would be attacking soon, he knew this.
Proving the hero right, Drakia gave a ringing howl and began her assault.
While Suchodon's neurotoxin had thinned her blood and lessened the clotting of her wounds, it had also broadened the highways of Drakia's circulatory systems. Her veins were now open roads, and rage rumbled down their length with a vengeance! Adrenaline pumping through the dilated pathways of her body, the Ash Queen launched herself into a spin, one that, although lacking the sheer weight and power of the crocodile's ghastly death roll, attained a speed that whipped the ash cloud around her into a towering black twister! The tornado of ash reared up like a living predator, engulfing Suchodon in its frenzied current. The green titan swung his head underneath guarding claws, protecting his eyes and nostrils, but the anger of the vortex was far greater than what he had anticipated. Like a endless swarm of dark hornets, the soot and smoke began biting into the heroic thinking creature! Blood spread across the genetic biped's mouth, throat, and underbelly in a broad net of red spiderwebs, his more vulnerable tissues pierced easily by the raging shards of carbon. Worse, his open wounds were pulverized by the swirl of soot, and the bleeding stopped by his intelligent circulatory functions began again at twice the rate as before. Even the hero's armor was not invulnerable. Stabbing into the thin gaps and spaces between the croc's scutes, dark particles were glued to the reptile by broken flesh and blood, a black grid pattern materializing across the clever brute's back.
Suchodon staggered within the storm. He was loosing a tremendous amount of blood. He had sustained no large or serious wound from the black spout of wind and ash, but the continuous stream of seemingly unending small injuries was overwhelming even his noted tenacity.
And the worse had yet to come.
Rising on ragged wings like an angel of death, Drakia ascended into the sky. The lithe reptile's shredded crimson sails flapped furiously in the wind, shedding blood and tissue as they were punctured by sharp particles of ash, but they would endure for what Drakia needed them for. Between the furious wind she herself had conjured and the girth she had shed through loss of flesh and blood, the old lizard- struck down by a bolt of flame just when she soared highest- would fly one last time. Lifted up almost a thousand meters, her ragged fans flattering as she reared above the deadly ash whirl, the ghostly specter of the past closed her eyes, opened her jaws, and let herself drop. Flattened body angled downward like a reaper's cloak in the wind, Drakia spiraled down, her thin body just barely supported by the black winds of the dispersing ash storm. Blood and pink slivers of bleeding flesh waved behind the demon's open jaws like gruesome war flags, her tissue just as vulnerable to the storm as Suchodon's. Circling down at the hero like a living counter-storm, her gliding body blasting the twister apart as she fell, Drakia closed the distance between hunter and quarry and delivered a bodyslam lead by the tips of two serrated blades!
A 30,000 ton piledriver on duel fangpoints!
A saber-toothed drop!
Suchodon screamed as Drakia's toothed head crashed into his at nearly 2,000 miles per hour! The hero's skin and skull were split open by the falling fangs, his scalp unzipping with a spray of blood that doused Drakia's entire upper body. The chimera's elongated jaws cracked against the hard earth with a splintering bark, the shattered fragments of pearly white teeth flying in all directions like pale confetti. Drakia's limp body slapped down onto Suchodon's back, and the staggered beast collapsed, piercing his belly on the sharp remnants of nearly half his fangs.
The lizard almost gasped as loudly as the crocodile as she flopped down, her body trembling as she tried to raise up on hooked legs. Her vision faded in and out, her consciousness knocked loose by the tremendous impact and slipping dangerously, but she could still see her foe, feel him underneath her, and that kept her clinging to life, to the battle at hand. Her foe still lived and breathed. The dark feline-like beast raised her fangs high and aimed for the great bloody slits already carved into his skull. She would fix that now and end this...!

Suchodon lays motionless on the hard-packed dirt, eyes glazed over. He’s been well and truly knocked senseless by Drakia’s last attack. If his skull hadn’t been so heavily built, it almost certainly would have killed him outright. The heroic chimera is so numb to the world that he doesn’t even feel Drakia laying on top of him, let alone feel her stirring as she raises her fanged head up. Even when the sabers dig into his skull again, it takes a second for it to register. Bellowing in pain, Suchodon springs to life, in a sense. It’s more like flopping and flailing to life. He stumbles to his feet, Drakia hanging off of his head like a tenacious dog. His legs get tangled in hers and he falls, but she doesn’t let go even as he stands back up. Bringing his arms up, he rakes his claws down his opponent’s side and belly, tearing dual sets of gashes in her flesh. Drakia holds on the first time, but when he does it again he manages to dislodge her with another spatter of blood from his wounded head.
Suchodon staggers away from Drakia a few steps before clumsily wheeling around to face her again, nearly losing his footing in the process. Drakia, meanwhile, slowly stands up on shaky legs, nearly collapsing again halfway through. What follows could easily be likened to an altercation between two heavily inebriated patrons outside of a bar. The two fighters clumsily hurl themselves at each other, swinging and missing wildly and then nearly falling over. Drakia tries to pounce on Suchodon, but her feet slip out from under her and she flops to the ground instead. Suchodon lashes out with a haymaker, but it goes over Drakia’s head and the momentum makes him trip. Both monsters lunge at each other, only to uselessly bounce off of each other and fall over sideways in opposite directions. It’s a far cry from the nimble, energetic, and expertly-executed technical contest it was in the beginning. Between the fatigue, blood loss, and sheer damage they’ve suffered, both monsters’ bodies have started to go into shock. Stubbornness and willpower are the only things keeping them going.
Finally, a sloppy, floundering lunge from Suchodon manages to find its mark. He stumbles in the process, only somewhat able to catch himself with his forearms. His open mouth comes down on top of Drakia’s head, his lower jaw reflexively coming up a fraction of a second later and slamming against the underside of her own mandible. Both monsters just lay there for a moment, seemingly not realizing what’s happened. Then it finally dawns on them. Almost the entire length of Drakia’s head is gripped in Suchodon’s jaws, her snout pointing directly at the back of his mouth.
Using the last ounce of his strength, Suchodon initiates a Death Roll. Despite his numerous missing teeth, his jaw pressure itself is enough to hold on, at least for now. Drakia is quickly twisted up like a rag being wrung out. Too weak to resist it, the entire length of her spine is wrenched to the limit. Her neck suffers the worst, being the fulcrum between the forces exerted by Suchodon and the inertia of her own body weight.
After nearly a dozen rotations, Suchodon’s jaws finally slip loose. Drakia is freed, but the damage is already done. Suchodon comes to rest as well, completely exhausted. Neither monster can stand. Neither monster can move. All they can do is lay on the ground and breathe raggedly.

"COMBAT IS TO BE STOPPED!" Voiced the command of the UCA. Both kaiju remained broken and beaten... bloodied... from one another. It was truly a great match. Such ferocity! The ratings would be killer for sure! "After careful determination, this match is declared a draw!"
(OOC: Congrats to both of you. After reading this fight, I can't bring myself to give the win to either. You both brought your A-Games.)

Suchodon just lays on the ground. The announcement doesn’t even really register, and even if it did he’s too exhausted and injured to react to it. The teleporter beam descends from the heavens on top of him, filling his blurring vision with white before whisking him away to the regeneration chamber in his living quarters.

(AWESOME match, Hayes. Really pushed Sucho to the limit for this one.)

(Indeed! As far as final matches go, I couldn't ask for more. This was a matchup that simply needed to happen.)
Although blood and blindness clouded Drakia's vision, she saw the flash of light that consumed Suchodon, leaving not blood nor bone behind, and the old monster knew what this meant- she had lost another victim. She had been robbed of another piece of prey. She had been given fresh blood and flesh right between her claws, and now it was hone.
Again.
Rage boiled up beneath Drakia's skin like scalded water, and the restless elder beast was on her feet, despite her great injuries, howling like a demon in fury.
Ash, blood, and teeth tore across the rocky wasteland as Drakia attacked the landscape itself, nothing else here suitable of her wrath. Defying age and injury, the black beast ripped up dirt and stone with undying vigor, boring savage holes straight down into the earth. Red filled the gutted earth from raw clawtips and ragged gums, although Drakia did not feel the pain. She was too far lost in her frenzy. Too much consumed in her madness.
---
Somewhere far away, from a glowing digital monitor, a pair of greedy eyes watched Drakia rage against the earth. The narrowed, thoughtful eyes, despite having previously wanted the aged monster gone from his facility, suddenly saw a new opportunity in the raging old beast. A sort of show. A display of raw hatred and anger directed at the helpless. Not a fight at all- because they had enough of those- but a slaughter. A bloodsport. A killing field.
With a satisfied smirk, the narrowed eyes hit a button and launched his newest, perhaps cruelest, scheme yet.
---
Drakia, joint-deep in blood-stained earth and newly churned soil, was suddenly removed from her rage and placed into a liquid column. The old monster struggled, startled and angered by the sudden change, but the gentle touch of the green fluid made her brow grow heavy. Within two minutes, the mad lizard was asleep, her body knitting itself back together. She would be healed, then transported away.
But she would not be sent to her quarters. Not ever again.
