As the duo approached ground zero, they soon saw what stood to oppose them. A sea of flames covered the ecosystem, consuming everything in their path. The forest was in ruins, a hellish inferno swirling about the formerly majestic land. Smoke billowed forth from the section of the forest, acting as a beacon for all around to see. From within the inferno, a pair of glowing yellow eyes was visible, and soon, the hulking form of the beast itself, Orsa-Terminus, appeared through the thick black smoke. The beast looked up at the approaching heroes, and narrowed its golden eyes. Suddenly, a powerful roar shook the arena, the earth rending, and the skies themselves twisting and turning. Thresher smiled, and turned to Crigan, his grin saying more of his thoughts than his words ever could.
"Hehehehe... IT'S SHOW TIME!" Thresher bellowed, as the two warriors dove down to confront their monstrous opponent.
The blackened brute's maw filled with eldritch flames, as a series of bluish fireballs blasted forth from the monster's gaping maw. Like birds dodging a rain of arrows, Crigan and Thresher weaved back and forth, dodging each projectile with grace and relative ease. The duo flew overhead, peppering Orsa with Focus Blasts and homing energy beams, engulfing the beast in a blast of energy. The Duo soon landed before their opponent, weapons at the ready. Thresher's chainsaw whip revved up, as his maw filled with energy. Crigan's eyes glowed brightly, as his talons became tipped with magic, prepared for anything. As the energy cloud cleared, it became obvious that Orsa was unharmed for the most part. The humongous abomination glared at the two beings before him, before letting out a deafeningly powerful roar. The yell's sheer power nearly floored his two opponents, and shook the very land they stood upon.
Thresher simply stared down his opponent, as did Crigan.
"You ready?!" Thresher snarled to his brother-in-arms.
Crigan nodded solemnly. "Let's do this."

Thresher sneered and sped up ahead of Crigan. Immediately, Orsa began to open fire once more. All around the shark, explosions detonated. Huge trees shuddered and fell as the twisted guardian dodged and ducked. Spinning in the air, Thresher’s jaws began to retaliate. Beams of energy launched, striking the inside of Orsa’s left mandible. Even if the attack wouldn’t have been completely absorbed, it was simply too small to even faze the behemoth of behemoths. A concentrated beam of destruction catapulted from Orsa’s multi-jawed mouth, taking Thresher off guard. He was sent flying back, head over heels and bulldozed through numerous trees…
By the time he skidded to a stop, Thresher was farther away from Orsa than Crigan was now!
Shaking his head and groaning, the cyborg stood. His artificial hands and helmet sparked, but he remained resilient. “God damn, where is Blaradon when ya’ need him…”

As the bluish flames of hell died down, splashing outwards from the hulking abomination's maw, Orsa's gaze shifted towards Crigan, whom soon pelted the abomination with a flurry of fireballs and focus blasts. Orsa let out an angry snarl, as a cloud of fire and chi energy swirled about him like a cloak, before the massive beast simply stepped forward, seemingly unphased by his foe. The beast snorted, his grim gaze locked firmly on the mortal before him, drool dripping profusely from his maw, as the minor wounds that afflicted him disappeared before Crigan even realized they were there. The Ruler of the Distrtion World was shocked by this display of durability. The monster TANKED his attacks with ease, and didn't even flinch from them! Crigan had little time to think of this however, as Orsa's gaping maw rippled open, and a massive, barbed tongue shot out, aiming to impale Crigan on it. Acting fast, the hero swerved to the side, narrowly avoiding getting struck by the deadly weapon. However, he didn't expect a flurry of tendrils to fire out immediately from Orsa's foreleg, each one tipped with a massive, lamprey-like maw!
Crigan was soon hamstrung, as the tendrils ripped themselves into the distortion ruler's hide, tearing through scales and muscle with ease. Crigan lashed out with sharp claws, slicing many clean off of the beast's body, but Orsa simply caused more tendrils to rip themselves out of his hide, to bind Crigan even more. Tendrils wrapped around Crigan's face, preventing him from using his breath attack, and also tied up his claws, rendering him helpless before the monstrosity's might. From Orsa's forelimb emerged a massive, gaping maw, easily the size of Crigan's head and shoulders, as he was pulled in closer to the beast. Orsa was going to bite his head off! But from the side, Crigan was saved. A trio of energy beams fired at the tendrils, blowing them clean apart in an impressive display of power. Orsa let out a growl and turned towards the source, as Crigan fell to the earth, before he began to slowy cut himself free from the wads of tendrils grappling to him still. The hulking abomination's gaze fell upon Thresher, his maw still glowing slightly and his wrist cannons smoking profusely, as the telekinetic warrior smirked. Orsa let out a roar, before he stomped towards Thresher, each heavy step crushing the earth and shaking the land beneath his feet.
Thresher simply smiled, before he spoke.
"Let's see what you're made of hot shot."
Suddenly, massive stones and mounds of dirt were torn up from the earth, before they were thrown at high speeds towards Orsa. Like a tidal wave, the wall slammed into Orsa, slowing him down for a moment, before he simply exploded forth from behind the barrier, and continued his advance towards Thresher. Grunting, Thresher soon backed off and hovered up. Suddenly, the earth quaked and rumbled, as the earth began to rend open, as if a massive earthquake was occuring! Using his telekinesis, Thresher tore open a massive fissure in the earth, causing Orsa to fall in, before he closed it, attempting to crush the monstrosity within. The whole arena went quiet for a few moments, as the whole of the world waited with bated breath. Thresher let out a small chuckle, happy, yet somewhat disappointed at the turn of events. Crigan managed to free himself from the tendrils, though his face betrayed little to no emotion. Was it really over? Crigan's mind was overwhelmed with thoughts and feelings. It was a strange sensation, as one part of him wanted to believe it was over, but another part of him knew better to believe that. He knew better than to assume that the beast was bested so easily, especially considering its power....
And Crigan's grim assumptions were proven to be true. Suddenly, the very earth exploded outwards, a thundering roar shaking the entire arena. Thresher's focus was broken, causing him to plummet to the earth, crashing face-first into the ground. The very forest shook, as the earth contorted and ripped, liek paper, from its power, and the skies were torn asunder, clouds soon dancing across the skies, and blistering winds sliced across the arena like icy blades. Crigan was sent rocketing backwards, crashing into the charred remains of a tree, causing it to shatter into tiny blackened peices. Orsa soon emerged from the hole he was trapped in, his eyes glowing with hatred, his gaze focused upon the form of Thresher. Crigan rocketed forward, a ball of flames striking Orsa's backside in order to catch his attention, but it was in vain. The fireball indeed caught his attention, but instead of making him turn, the beast simply raised his tail, and blasted the rapidly approaching distortion lord with a Pseudo-Big Bang Blast, sending Crigan flying backwards once more. The hapless warrior slamemd into the ground, a massive rut being formed in the ground from the impact. His form was smoking, a bright red burn mark having been scorched into his chest, as he lay on the ground in pain, strugglnig to get up.
Turning back to Thresher, who was barely getting up, Orsa raised a foot, his whole forelimb becoming shrouded in eldritch energy. Orsa then slammed his limb down, sending a wall of blackened energy exploding across the ground towards Thresher, aimnig to consume him in the flesh-eating energy...

Yuuka laughed as she watched the events unfold from her mansion. She was sitting on her bed, looking at the mirror as she watched the events unfold from Crigan's POV. Ah the wonders of using spores as cameras attached onto his body. "Now, how will you face against this titan of a foe, a beast created from my own energies? It could have all been avoided, had Yakumo tried draining someone else, or not at all." Yuuka chuckled to herself as she watched the fight unfold... This was truly a perfect show to watch, no matter the outcome...
______
A fiery blast smashed into Orsa's side, the beast snarling as he felt the blast nail him. It was too late for Thresher, though, as the eldritch energy washed over him, burning and scarring his hide. Orsa whirled around...
and found himself starring down Crigan. The Distortion Lord had managed to raise himself out of the rut he had been in, and now was glaring right back at the monster before him. He had to admit, this thing hit really hard, but he couldn't care about that. Everything was at stake here, and he wasn't going to let Orsa beat him! The crest glowed brightly, and a fiery pillar of raw energy spiraled from Crigan's maw and struck Orsa dead on in the head. A plume of smoke and fire obscured the struck area, and Crigan could hear a howl of pain rupture from the beast...
Something moved. he flew upward to try and avoid it, but he was too late. A giant wing came flying out of the smoke, and struck the worm. Crigan shrieked as he plowed into the ground like a meteor, a plume of dust rising up. He craned his head up just in time to see the smoke fade, revealing no damage done to Orsa whatsoever. Crigan's eyes widened. His strongest attack... and it had done nothing aside from poking him. He knew the foe was up against was a monster... but...
No, this had happened before... Just like with Yukari. His strongest attacks doing nothing.
An ear-splitting roar caused Crigan's mind to snap back to reality. The titan that was Orsa drew nearer, the entity dwarfing him considerably.
A voice.
He could hear it in his mind, a voice coming from within the titan, calling for help. It was faint, bu the could hear it. Was it the soul or Armageddon, still alive despite the transformation, or was it Conquest having broken composure? He didn't know, but whoever was in there, he would save them. Crigan flew forward, his form flying as fast as he could. Orsa tried to keep track of the beast, hit he was speedy and quick, and the beast found itself getting nailed by a Focus Blast into the face, though it did very little . Crigan swerved around and flew toward the giant, his wingtips glowing as he prepared to try and slice open the beast, thinking his attack had blinded him...

Thresher groaned, his armored body steaming and sizzling. The twisted guardian pushed himself up, dark eyes surging with unholy power. “Damn thing packs one hell of a wallop.” He spoke to himself, watching as Crigan attempted to cut through Orsa’s near-invulnerable hide. “That’s like trying to cut into Rapture with a…” Thresher tilted his head, remembering the tactic he and Rosie used to originally harm the interstellar nightmare.
Sure, Orsa-Terminus was bigger. A lot bigger. But the should technique should work, even if Rosie wasn’t around to be used as a cannon ball.
The shark leaped into the air, arms stretched downward and head pointed up. He flew several hundred, nearly reaching a thousand meters, above Orsa. By now, the juggernaut had swatted Crigan away like a harmless gnat. Thresher flipped in mid-air, rolling his body into a ballish-shape, his bladed tail and fins sticking out the edges…
And he began to fall at his terminal velocity, reached in such time thanks in part to his own telekinesis acting like a cannon.
Thresher shot down, aiming for the center of Orsa’s pine! The demon of darkness cried aloud, more in shock and anger than anything else. A fountain of sparks erupted from where Thresher made impact, the result of his blades scrapping against Orsa’s body. The giant, however, was not impressed. He reared up like a bucking bronco, exposing his full size as he catapulted the shark off. Thresher landed several hundred meters away with a thud, head and eyes rolling.
Just as the cobwebs in his head cleared, Thresher was forced to react. He leaped to the side, dodging Orsa as the wild beast crashed down in an attempt to crush him under his unimaginable tonnage. The very ground exploded into chaos, shooting rock and debris everywhere. The monster bellowed in rage, looking to the side. It wasn’t much, but Thresher offered the titan a face-full of energy blasts, the shots looping through the air and homing in on his eyes…

The blasts struck the hulking abomination right square in the face, Thresher's assault engulfing Orsa's hideous visage in a cloud of energy and smoke. An enraged bellow erupted forth from the abomination's gaping, saliva dripping maw, hellish fangs glistening in the ethereal light in the arena, before the hulking abomination raised his tail once more. The tip began to glow an ominous red, as the beast's golden gaze locked firmly onto Thresher. Acting fast, the telekinetic shark dove to the side, narrowly avoiding betting blasted by the devilish beam of power, the very air distorting around it, as a massive explosion rocked the location Thresher was in only moments before.
Orsa snarled, and turned towards Thresher, only for a blast of fire and chi energy to strike his flank! Crigan tried his best to catch Orsa's attention, and he certainly succeeded in that part of his plan. But Crigan was unprepared for a massive ball of dark blue flames to fire out from the hulking leviathan's gaping jaws. Crigan tried to evade, but the blast radius was enormous; hellish flames exploded outwards in a diameter in excess of 250 meters, the sheer kinetic force of the explosion causing Crigan to tumble to the earth. Thresher assailed Orsa while his back was turned, flinging debris at him and blasting him with beams from his mouth and his wrists. Orsa simply grumbled in annoyance, before he clobbered Thresher across the face with a massive, heavy tail. Thresher took the full brunt of Orsa's power upon impact; armor was rended clean apart, blood was sent splattering, bones were crunched upon impact, and Thresher was sent flying to the side with enough force to completely obliterate 3 trees, and cleave a path of ruin across the forest.
As Thresher lay on the ground, bleeding profusely and incapacitated from the sheer force of the blow, Orsa focused all of his firepower onto Crigan. A stream of dark blue flames blasted forth from Orsa's gaping maw, incinerating everything caught within the hellfire's destructive blaze. Crigan quickly outran the beast's fiery fury, but the hulking monster pursued! The slow beast stomped towards Crigan as he slowed to a stop, before a massive, needle-like tongue fired out from his maw. Standing his ground, Crigan flexed his claws, before he timed it right and cut Orsa's tongue's tip clean off, sending eldritch blood splattering across the earth with an audible sizzle. Orsa let out a grunt of shock, the wounds already healing as his tongue withdrew into his mouth. Even more angry now, Orsa took two steps forward, and attempted to stomp on Crigan.
Acting fast, the heroic tapeworm swerved to the side, and sliced into Orsa's leg, doing little other than to provoke another attempted strike. Crigan dodged once more, and sliced Orsa across the face, doing little more than elicit a growl of annoyance. As Crigan prepared another attack, he was suddenly struck from behind by a heavy forelimb, as massive, taloned feet slapped Crigan off his feet, audible cracks piercing Crigan's ears as he hit the earth back-first. A massive foot crashed down onto his torso, crushing his lungs and body beneath Orsa's tonnage. Crigan coughed up a bit of blood, and looked up at Orsa, who's maw opened, ready to devour his opponent....

The maw of the titan was opened, and Crigan knew he had to act fast. Everywhere across his body, there was pain. Orsa's foot moved slightly, and a new wave of torture spread across him, forcing the worm to scream out blood. Fire welled up inside of him, and a single fireball flew out, spiraling through the sky as it entered Orsa's mouth...
and exploded.
it didn't hurt him that much, but it was enough. Orsa stepped back as the roof of his maw burnt. Crigan was now free, and he shot up into the sky to see what had happened to Thresher. The shark was far away, buried underneath numerous smashed trees... and still...
Crigan gritted his maw, and his eyes narrowed. Damnit. Thresher was out of the question. An ally, and he was out for the count. He was in this alone now, just him against this monster. One being, against an unstoppable force. He was it, the one tasked to save this place... and he would die trying if that were the case! This was for Mara... for Quetzar, for all those at the UCA who didn't deserve dying either to this beast or to a nuclear meltdown!
He turned and flew right for Orsa, just now unaware of Thresher rising up from his wooden tomb. Orsa roared as he swung a giant fist at him, but Crigan was now moving faster than he had realized, and the worm flew right past him. A few seconds later, eldritch blood began oozing out of several cuts that had been sliced along his shoulder. The tapeworm twisted around, his claws still glowing brightly as he flew in again. 3 more times, he flew past Orsa, moving almost like a blur as his speed was pushed to the limit. With one more pass, he flew up high, and then dived straight down, yelling at the top of his lungs as he aimed for the throat... But Orsa seemed to have anticipated this, and brought his head up to him...
resulting in a headbutt unlike any the UCA had ever seen before.
It was clear that Crigan had gotten the worse out of it, as the serpent howled out in pain as he was flung straight through the air and into the ground, his skull feeling like it was going to split apart at any second. The pain... he couldn't concentrate from it. Orsa though hadn't gotten out unscratched as well, for he staggered back, the force of the impact with the worm flying at such high speeds caused him to fall onto his back, a massive BOOOOOM echoing across the forest...

Thresher groaned, sparks and bolts of electricity dancing across his broken Klenthurian armor. Across his torso, a large branch laid. Far too large to be removed by his own hands. Thankfully, the shark’s telekinesis was enough to roll the large piece of forest wood off. He sat up, shaking his bloody head. He stood, slapping the soil with his tail as every inch of his body ached. “Gonna’ feel that in the morning...” He then spat, a mixture of blood and saliva striking the upturned ground.
He saw Crigan’s last attack just as it happened, head tilting as Orsa stumbled back. The shark dropped his right hand, his trademark whip rolling out of his wrist and into his hand. He slapped the ground with it and launched into the air, closing the great distance between him and the colossal mutation of Armageddon. As he closed in, he lashed out with the whip, wrapping it around Orsa’s throat. As if it had a mind of its own, the whip’s end returned to Thresher’s hand as he landed, pulling tightly as Orsa bucked, his head pointed up.
The saw-whip began to rev where it was wrapped around Orsa’s throat, but the teeth just weren’t strong enough to full penetrate. Sparks and small pieces of flesh flew off, but that was about it. Still, as Thresher descended and landed on the base of the behemoth’s neck, he fired several beams, an all-out assault from his jaws and bracelet cannons. Orsa’s bellowing roars of fury echoed for countless miles as his head was engulfed in explosion after explosion.
But it just wasn’t enough!
After several bucks, Thresher was forced to release. He leaped back, flipping in mid-air before landing several dozen meters away, groaning as he put weight on wounded legs. Orsa spun around, jaws open wide with waves of thick droll rolling from huge teeth. The juggernauted reared up again, a collection of bright light and power gathering in his muzzle. He slammed back down, the ground shooting up like a volcano! The energy he gathered fired like a cannon, a tremendous beam of energy vaporizing the ground directly underneath it!
Thresher’s eyes opened wide and he braced himself, holding out both hands. A barrier was erected around him, cutting the Omega Beam in half, but the shark’s body and mind weakened. He focused, but try as he might, the barrier began to fracture. Like glass springing a leak, the energy began to strike Thresher like a hailstorm. Each impact weakened Thresher even further…
“God damn it.” The shark hissed to himself. He knew it wasn’t going to last. “Oh fuck you.’
The barrier broke!
The full strength of the Omega Beam struck the cyborg. He was swallowed up in the power, his body stripped of armor. His bones taken past their limit, several breaking. Thresher was carried back for over a mile as the beam generally lowered, cutting a clean path of destruction through the forest. The entire landscape shuddered, branches and leaves falling from hundreds of trees as others completely collapsed. The sound was deafening, rolling like thunder through the surrounding hills of canopies…
And as the beam ceased, revealing a clean path as if a kaiju-sized bulldozer rolled through the forest, Thresher was gone. Buried somewhere within the dirt and debris… Fate unknown.

The powerful beam of world-rending destruction soon came to a close, the very earth split in two and scorched from the sheer heat of the titan's horrific assault. Smoke rose from the vaporized and burned ground, as Orsa's maw lost its whitish hue. The massive black beast's golden eyes scanned the arena, searching for signs of life in the event that his beam had failed to completely obliterate his opponent. But the monstrosity failed to find one. The hulking beast soon stomped his feet into the ground, before raising his head into the air and unleashing a victorious bellow, the abomination's dreadful cries rippling across the arena, its horrific bellows audible for miles around. Crigan, however, was shocked by what he saw. While he was no friend of Thresher, the warrior had fought bravely in the past, and at the current time. The heroic tapeworm hung his head in sorrow for a few moments, realizing the very real possibility of Thresher's demise...
But Crigan wasn't going to let that stop him. Thresher was a mighty warrior, and would want Crigan to continue on! After all, the whole of the UCA rested on his shoulders!
As the hulking monstrosity rotated his body around the face him, Crigan greeted the beast's hideous visage with a barrage of flames and focus blasts, the whole of Orsa's head soon engulfed in a massive eruption of energy. The devourer of worlds let out a howl, as its body soon took two heavy steps forward, the earth shaking beneath its humongous, deca-digited feet, its heavy footfalls causing its immense bulk to crack the ground with each thundering step. Crigan floated backwards, eyes widened with fear and paranoia. The hideous abomination's maw flexed, dangerously huge fangs visible poking out from underneath rancid, fleshy lips, as cruel, heartless eyes locked themselves hungrily upon Crigan. Orsa suddenly lunged forward, maw opened wide to snap down upon the hero, but Crigan was swift, and skilled. As the beast's hellish maw approached him, the Ruler of the Distortion World shot to the side, narrowly avoiding being bitten in half by the beast's enormous jaws, before he raked dragon-empowered claws across the beast's forelimb. The claw strike did little, however, leaving only a small, minuscule gash across the limb, before Orsa lashed out with an elbow bash, clobbering Crigan in the upper torso.
The blow was shockingly powerful, cracking being audible from the impact, and the sheer force causing Crigan to hurtle backwards a few hundred meters, before he regained control of his body. As he grumbled and coughed, blood splattering across the earth, his chest feeling sharp pains with each breath, he saw Orsa thundering across the arena, his awkward, clumsy limbs stomping over trees, plants, and stones, tearing anything in his path apart as he approached his opponent. Crigan swiftly ascended, and soon began to fly high into the hideous maelstrom above the arena. From this height, Crigan could see the devastation caused by Orsa. Whole parts of the arena, dead- not even the burnt twigs of former trees remained. It seemed as though they simply... disappeared. But... how was that possible? Had Orsa consumed them, or was that simply a side effect of Orsa's powers? Crigan shook his head. He didn't have time to think about that. He needed a plan, and fast...
but he had little time to think about this, as a dark blue fireball narrowly missed blowing him out of the sky!
Crigan whirled his head around, and saw a horrific sight: Orsa was flying after him, fell wings beating in broad strokes! Though not fast by a long shot, the sheer colossal size of the beast's wings meant that it was easily able to catch up to Crigan in a short amount of time. Shocked, Crigan fired fireballs and focus blasts at the beast, but they seemed to do little. As Orsa pursued crigan, tendrils rippled forth from his outstretched forearms, and launched themselves at Crigan. The tendrils anchored onto Crigan, digging into his hide with ease. Crigan yelped, and quickly whirled around, cleaving them all off with an audible swick, sending eldritch blood squirting everywhere. Orsa let out an enraged bellow, before a fireball blasted out of his maw once more, this time striking Crigan at near-point blank range.
The power was substantial, and the explosion engulfed Crigan completely. The hapless hero's burning form soon fell from the skies, before crashing full-force into the earth, and massive crater being formed upon impact with the ground. Crigan groaned, his body severely burned as he rose up off of the ground, shaking his head to regain focus. What a landing. As Crigan glanced up, he noticed the humongous form of Orsa hurtling straight towards him, like an ebony meteor from hell!...

The legendary flew off the ground just in time to avoid the massive form of Orsa Terminus. Crigan flew under the massive beast's body, and stopped right behind him. Orsa, having lost track of Crigan, began to look around for the hidden being, who had flown back into the forest aways to get a moment to catch his breath. His head was rattling back and forth as he tried to make sense of what was going on here. Thresher was dead, most likely for real now. and it was just him. He was bleeding, dying, and his foe was without a scratch on him.
You really are in over your head with this one. all too familiar voice spoke in his head. Crigan's eyes widened as he recognized the voice. "Nice timing, showing up with Thresher died. Just where the heck has you been, oh mighty conscious?" He mentally blasted back, venom dripping in his words. I've been busy elsewhere, but listen, you can't handle this creature. Orsa is far beyond you, and you can't possibly hope to take him down yourself. Lemme take ov-
"No." A fire ignited within the eyes of the tapeworm as he shouted out the word. "Not this time." E-e-excuse me? Do you not realize your 3/4ths dead at this point? That what your going up against is something of a power magnitude you haven't seen since Salavance the Golden? That you have almost no hope of wi-
"That's just it! There IS A chance I can win!" Crigna shouted, as the trees infront of him burst aflame. A massive fireball flew toward him, and Crigan brought his shadowy tendrils before him. The Tendrils and clawed wings came together like a shield, and the fireball slammed against it. The heat and flames licked Crigan's face, but he gritted his maw, and with an animalistic roar, pushed the fireball right back. The approaching form of Orsa Terminus howled as the fireball exploded against his face, causing his head to swing back as if nailed by a kaiju-sized punch.
And it was with this opportunity, that Crigan flew straight up into the air. There was a wild, almost feral look to his face, and memories of old , memories long locked away began resurfacing. memories of the past him, of when he had been the Renegade. "So long as there remains even a sliver of hope, I will not stop! Thresher, Mara, Yuyuko, Mich, Utusho, Kadru, Auroros... they are all waiting for me back at the HUB, like you said, but I will return triumphant with this beast slain!" He roared as he flew ever higher. Miles and miles he flew straight up, his muscles and eyes screaming for him to stop, but he didn't, not until he was as high as he could go. He turned around, the thin oxygen up in the Ozone Layer of the planet floating around him as he gazed down upon the planet below him. His eyes starred down like an eagle's, right at Orsa, who was looking right back at him even from such a faraway distance. "The hopes, the dreams, the very survival of the UCA and the High Council rests upon my shoulders! I have seen the great ends of the cosmos, I have fought both the Boundary Hag and the Boundary Lord, The Demon Queen, The Alpha Being, The Ruler of Hell, and the Great Harbringer of the Void. What makes you, Orsa Terminus, any more special than them? WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM, TO RUN AWAY AND LET YOU DESTROY THIS PLACE?!?!" He howled, his words booming down to the giant, whose own powerful roar rebounded back.
And then, Crigan folded his wings in, and shot straight down.
Orsa reared his head back, and let loose fireball upon fireball straight up at the descending form of Crigan. The hero dived past the rising fire, his aim true and unfaulting. Your... doing that, aren't you... Your doing that attack, aren't you? The voice said, amazed. You really did regain what I took from you so long ago.
"Yes, I did... And now, I shall either strike down Orsa with it, or die trying!" Crigan snarled, as a fireball exploded into him. yet even with the direct hit, he shot through the smoke, his entire form now aflame. THe fire licked and burnt away at him, but to him, it was like it wasn't even there. He spread his wings out, and the flames spread as well across the sky. It was like a fiery arrow from the heavens, coming down to strike the beast where it was. "LEGENDARY SIGN: ARROW OF THE GODS!" Crigan roared at the top of his lungs, his very eyes burning from the fire as he shot straight down at Orsa with trememdous speed...

Orsa couldn’t react fast enough. The hulking abomination tried his best to slow Crigan’s approach: fireballs, flame breath, pseudo big bangs, but nothing worked! Like a tenacious bull, Crigan persevered through the withering assaults of the monstrosity! Orsa’s soulless, golden eyes widened, as his body clenched up and braced itself for impact. Suddenly, an explosion erupted, fire and hellish heat swirling about the point of impact, as a maelstrom of destruction swirled out upon impact, intense heat vaporizing trees and scorching ground. The sheer power behind the blow caused the enormous monstrosity to lose its footing, causing the abomination letting out a bellow of PAIN- not fury or annoyance as before- before he crashed into the scorched earth with a thundering BOOM. Crigan was also harmed by the impact, his flaming body sent hurtling backwards in the opposite direction from the brutal impact. The fiery aura that licked Crigan’s battered and bruised form soon died out, leaving his body exposed to the cruel world. The heroic tapeworm crashed into a grove of trees, obliterating them upon impact, before his body created a massive rut in the earth. Nothing moved for a few moments, before Crigan rose once more, his body burned, bloodied, and broken, though still functional. Crigan groaned, as his eyes looked in the direction of a massive, smoldering shape lying motionless on the ground.
From beneath a mountain of trees and earth, a hulking monstrosity ripped itself free from its prison. The beast let out a pained roar, a puff of smoke emerging from massive, gaping jaws. The beast had been wounded far more than he had been in the past. His skin had visible burns, and blood could be seen running down from the point of impact. His regeneration struggled to heal from such a brutal blow, the beast shaking its head in pain as its glassy gaze fell upon Crigan. Orsa grunted angrily, before his eyes shifted down towards his upper shoulder, which had taken the brunt of Crigan’s attack. The shoulder had been… damaged?! The flesh on it had been severely seared, with his eldritch musculature now visibly rippling, burnt from the heat of the impact. Yes- damage was VISIBLY shown, for the first time in the fight! Orsa’s eyes filled with hatred, and narrowed, as his visage soon rotated back towards Crigan. Orsa’s jaws opened, as his lips flexed back, exposing hideous gums and massive fangs, before the monstrosity unleashed a horrifyingly powerful roar! The land exploded outwards like a nuclear weapon had been dropped, as a tsunami of earth and soil was kicked up. Trees, stones, plants, and the earth itself were rended up with Orsa’s fury, before the hulking abomination barreled towards Crigan as fast as his limbs could carry him!
Crigan blasted Orsa right in the face with a focus blast, followed by a fireball right into his gaping maw. Orsa snarled angrily; smoke billowed forth from his maw as he came into striking distance. With shocking speed, the beast’s hammer-like forelimb was wrought upon the hero! Acting fast, Crigan swerved to the side, narrowly avoiding getting crushed by the massive, muscular arm. But Crigan was not safe from the beast yet, as the monster raised itself off the ground on one side and lashed out with its other forelimb, aiming smash Crigan’s battered body with its sheer power! Crigan ducked, narrowly avoided getting struck by the massive limb, but the beast refused to stop its assault! Orsa lashed out with his other forearm once more, this time raising it up and bringing it down upon the hero! Crigan had little time to react, as the hulking forelimb crashed down onto his head paw-first, slamming him into the ground and creating a sizable crater with its sheer force. The hero’s body cracked, blood dripping out from his form in massive amounts, as he coughed up more blood, his shape limp for the moment. Ten massive digits gripped the hero’s broken form with ease, before the beast reared onto his enormous hind legs, and flung Crigan like a ragdoll across the arena, sending him crashing into the earth in a massive eruption of dirt and soot.
The rag doll body of Crigan lay limp on the earth for a few moments, unmoving. All eyes were on him, and he was out for the count at the moment. The hulking form of the apocalyptic beast fell back onto its quadruped stance, and began to march towards the hero’s downed position. Each heavy footfall shook the earth, and audibly made impact with the ground. The beast’s massive limbs smashed aside any rubble that remained in the forest as he approached the downed formed of Crigan, ready to feast upon his broken body. After a few moments of silence and tension, the hero arose once more, shaken but still functioning. Crigan’s eyes were exhausted, and his eyelids were heavy. His body was on the verge of collapse, but even so, the hero persevered. Golden eyes narrowed in anger, Orsa prepared to lash out with another fireball, but Crigan locked his eyes onto Orsa’s wounded shoulder, and blasted it with a fireball of his own. The hulking beast let out a grumble of pain, the fiery ball striking his only weak spot at the moment. The two warriors eyed each for a moment, neither moving. Crigan was exhausted, and almost unable to fight at all. Orsa, while wounded, was not hurt enough to be bothered much by the damage wrought upon him, save for the wound on his shoulder.
Orsa broke the standoff’s silence, however, as the beast raised his head up, his maw beginning to fill with white light. The beast’s massive forelimbs slammed into the ground, the beast anchoring itself for the attack. Eldritch energy swirled around Orsa’s maw, as energy from the surrounding area seemed to be sucked into the gaping jaws of the abomination. Crigan gathered what strength he had left to attack, lashing out with a single focus blast, but it seemed to do little to Orsa. Soon, the abomination’s charging came to a climax, and Orsa leveled his head with Crigan’s exhausted frame. With a deafening boom, the deadly white beam of destruction fired forth from the abomination’s mouth, splitting the land like Moses parted the Red Sea, vaporizing earth, plants, and stones that were caught in its devastating path. Crigan could only watch as the beam of destruction tore across the arena towards him, aiming to utterly annihilate him…

From where she watched the fight, Yuuka laughed as she held a sugarcube between her fingers. This was glorious, absolutely glorious. After those harsh words he had given her back then. this was only so fitting for him. "And now, this is game..."
____________
Crigan was helpless wher ehe was as he saw the vicious beam tore toward him. Time seem to freeze as it neared him. He couldn't move, it hurt too much. He couldn't protect himself... THis was it. He had given his all, and failed before this juggernaut. He had failed the High Council, he had failed the UCA... he had failed those near to him. He closed his eyes, and said, "Mara... I'm sorry..."
And then, the beam overtook him, and he vanished within it....

"Over." Yuuka hissed as she crushed the suger cube between her thumb and her finger. Static now filled the screen, but she cared not. It was so glorious, seeing her handiwork in action. After all, this was only the halftime show... the second half of the main event was soon to unfold...

Smoke and vapor rose up from the ruined forest. Where there had onc ebeen Crigan, now there was a massive crater. Dust, the essence of what had once been life, floated down from above. A ghostly wail, one that rode with the wind, rang out around Orsa, as if the very heavens themselves were mourning....
Crigan.... was dead.

As the hellish cloud cleared, Orsa stood alone in the arena. Seeing that he was left alone in the forest at long last, Orsa reared up onto his hind legs, and unleashed a horrifying bellow of victory. The earth rended and cracked, and the skies rippled like a pond that had a rock thrown into it. None were left to oppose him now!

The billowing remains of Crigan and Thresher were speared by a brilliant beam of light. A small, dark shape materialized from the bright column and dropped to the patch of destroyed forest at Orsa's gnarled, trunk-like feet, the thing's numerous toes twisting and turning like tree roots in their deformity. Sid glared up from where he had cratered the ground, his stout body shattering the earth left cold and dead beneath the tyrannical influence of Orsa-Terminus with ease. The little monster barely reached the first freakish, snapping pair of jaws the budded from Orsa's mutated flesh, a hideous flower dripping with teeth and drool, but he did not cower under the shadow of the sprawling beast. The eyes of the once human being glinted in the darkness that engulfed him.
"HEY YOU. LOOK AT ME. I'M TALKING TO YOU." Orsa's head, a lob of hard flesh as big as a mountain, angled down at the miniscule pest calling him out. The split jaws of the creature curled and slavered like parting ocean plates. Rank air blasted out and ruffled Sid's fur. The hero only stared at the vast monster. "YEAH YOU WITH THE FUGLY FACE. SCREW YOU BASTARD. YOU'LL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID HERE. I'LL STOP YOU. SOMEHOW I'LL STOP YOU. BASTARD."

Yet another bright light descended from the heavens, yet the person it carried wasn't much for words. No, she was out for blood, for as soon as it descended, a lagged bolt of lightning fired from it. Orsa tried to move out of the way, but the bolt sliced right into his shoulder, barely missing the wound Crigan had opened up. The lightning bolt struck the ground, and as the form of Mara materialized from it, the Kitsune whirled around, fangs bared as she let out an unearthly howl, eyes maddened with rage... This bastard would pay for what he had done... he had taken away that closest to her... and now, she was going to let it all out.... 300 years of anger, rage, destruction... all on this primal beast...
