A brilliant white beam of artificial light washed over the hard obsidian earth, splashing droplets of white around the arena as the light bounced off the jet-black rocks. A huge bear emerged from the bright aura, its fur as white as snow, as if a living glacier had found its way into the volcanic area of the planet. The polar bear snorted, not particularly pleased with the dry heat of this new environment, but the blue gas seeping out from his guard hairs was more than enough to keep him cool.
Catching the scent of the nearby demon, Nanook rose upon his hind legs, a challenging snarl escaping his powerful jaws.

As steam rose around Nanook's body, the fire fighting his overwhelming cold, the tremendous voice of the Announcer rumbled, shaking the hellish landscape.
"MONSTERS," the being without a face bellowed, the power of his voice sending the steam into spasms. "COMMENCE COMBAT!"

Right as Devi heard these words, a huge grin appeared on her face. She was ready. While Nanook still shook from these words, Devi made her move. She made herself visible and pounced onto Nanook's back when he wasn't looking. Nanook tried to cover his body with his incredible ice armor, but it immediately melted. Not only because of the scorching temperatures of the volcanic arena but also because of Devi's flaming claws. Devi acted quickly and dug her claws into Nanook's thick-furry back. She made two huge gashes, and quickly disappeared again, so that Nanook couldn't see what just attacked him. But she was unaware that Nanook had an incredibly strong sense of smell. Nanook looked around but couldn't see anything. So he turned to his smelling ability. He picked up Devi's scent and realized she was circling around him. Devi could see that Nanook could see where she was, so she made another surprise attack. She used her snake heads this time. While Nanook is still following where Devi was walking, he suddenly felt a enduring pain in his neck. He started feeling dizzy, but quickly regained strength. He used his ice armor to wrap over the objects that were biting his neck. He saw that the objects were Devi's snake heads. He quickly took the snakes and ripped them off his neck. Devi felt unstable and unexpectedly turned visible again. "Well there you are, you little devil." Nanook said. "Yes it's me, coming to the UCA for the first time." Devi replied. "Well you sure are a small pretty tiger-" Nanook said but got cut off by Devi running towards him. Devi used her super strength to flip Nanook on his stomach. Devi climbed on Nanook's back and dug her claws into the thick fur. While she did this she said, "Do not call me pretty!!" And she snarled her flaming teeth at Nanook. After she said that, Devi climbed off Nanook and disappeared yet again. While she watched Nanook get up she pounced at him once again but this time toward his nose so that maybe she could damage his power of smell...

With a harsh roar that spilled across the volcanic landscape like a great wave, Nanook swung his great paw up, catching the tiger across the chest and sending her flying into the side of a rocky hillside in an explosion of rock and ash. Devi wheezed, her breath having been knocked out of her by the powerful blow. She felt a warm liquid dribble across her belly, and looked down to see four gashes carved into her flesh by Nanook's sharp claws.
The bear huffed, slamming his forelegs into the ground and uprooting slabs of stone with his great strength. The bear wasn't the most intelligent of the UCA monsters. Like an animal, he couldn't speak or develop complex ideas, but the bear could smell the demonic energies radiating off Devi. And he didn't like it.
Devi was still recovering from the blow when Nanook charged, unable to activate her camouflage abilities in time. The tiger grunted as she was slammed between the sharp rocks and 110 000 tons of angry polar bear. Nanook wrapped his powerful jaws around Devi's neck, causing the demon to gasp, cutoff from air. Her snake heads burst from her chest, biting through Nanook's fur coat. Their venom began to be taking an effect on the mammal, but he fought on nonetheless. His muscles bulged as he flung Devi off to the side with his neck and jaws along, almost tumbling to the ground by the act. As Devi collapsed a few hundred meters away, the bear quickly began to charge again, intent on mauling the tiger before she could get away...

Devi, looking at her gashes and getting up from the ground, didn't see Nanook running towards her. Nanook charged towards Devi, and rammed into her side. Devi went flying across the flaming landscape, and steam rose everywhere. Devi, thinking as fast as she could, thought of the only thing she could do at the moment. That was to disappear. Devi used her camouflage powers to disappear into the midst of the steam. Then she blurted out,"Come and get me!" Nanook hearing this, didn't understand what she was saying, but just ran into the fog. Devi waited for the right moment to pounce, and made her move when Nanook came running. Devi pounced and clawed at his legs. She scraped huge gashes, all the way down to bone, into all four legs, making Nanook barely able to walk. At the same time Devi was injecting poison into Nanook's neck. Nanook, feeling much pain and dizziness, collapsed to the ground, but immediately stood back up. While Nanook was getting back up, Devi made her next move. This time towards the nose, so that she could damage Nanook's sense of smell while he was unstable. Devi made her move. Pouncing at the gigantic bear, she snarled and clawed at his nose. Her claws hit the warm nose and made one big scrape across Nanook's face. Nanook felt this pain and roared loudly. He couldn't endure all this pain and warm temperatures all at once. Nanook, still feeling dizzy, tried to walk but failed, and collapsed to the ground. Devi watching her opponent wheeze in pain, made another move. She jumped onto the bear's back, and dug her claws into his back. Nanook stood up and tried to throw Devi off, but Devi kept her grip. After a few minutes of trying to throw Devi of his back, Nanook gave up, and fell on to the ground. Devi stepped off her opponent, and made her final move. She took out her snakes for the last time and planned on injecting just enough poison into Nanook, so that maybe he would just pass out... (Hey KK, thanks for telling me that Nanook didn't talk! My friend also gave me that memo... Sorry about that! )

A flurry of anti-kaiju shells whizzed by and clipped the writhing serpent, making Devi withdraw with a sharp hiss of pain. Blood dropped from the curling snaked as they twitched and surged in agony. Devi teetered, her feline head spinning, but she managed to remain upright, her claws dug deep in the jagged earth.
"UNFAIR BATTLE TACTIC DETECTED BY COMBATANT DEVI!"
(The claw'd/snakebite double punch doesn't work because venom is considered a special ability, and therefore is illegal to use in combos.)

(OCC: It's alright. I've seen people make MUCH worse mistakes in the past. ) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The bear's beady eyes took notice of the flailing snake heads, and instinctively lunged at them. His tremendous jaws crunched down on one of the heads, while he caught the other between the toes of his left paw, pinning it to the ground. Nanook shook his head violently, shredding the muscles and scales of the snake's neck with his teeth. The flesh peeled away as the molars tore against them like organic cheese shredders. Still hanging on to the heads, Nanook raised his free paw, and smacked Devi across the face with his brute strength. The tiger would have sprawled to the ground had it not been for her trapped snake heads, and like an elastic band, she was pulled right back, only to be struck by a second blow. Three more time, the polar bear clobbered the trapped tiger, before finally releasing the snake heads, allowing them to retreat inside Devi's chest as the demon wobbled, dazed by her opponent's blows. Blood flowing across her face, the tiger quickly activated her camouflage ability. She was worried about continuing the fight, now that her valuable snake heads had been damaged. The invisible tiger pounced on top of Nanook, raking her metal claws down the mammal's back before spraining back to the ground. Nanook spun, trying to locate the camouflaged monster. He growled, smacking the volcanic earth with his paws and causing clouds of ash to rise from the surface. The dusty particles began to settle on the invisible tiger, and as soon as the bear saw this, he charged. Devi was taken by surprise as her opponent wrapped his burly arms around her, forcing her into a bear hug. Powerful jaws gripped the back of her neck as Nanook began to tug and pull, mauling Devi. Strips of flesh were torn from the back of her neck and her shoulders, decorating both fur coats with crimson. Nanook soon released Devi, and stood high on his back legs, raising his paw to swat the demon away...

Devi got up from the ground and saw Nanook's gigantic paw come swinging towards her. Devi filled with anger yelled, "Enough!" She grabbed the flying claw and flung Nanook across the steaming, hot ground. He rolled across the ground and slammed against the hard obsidian rocks. Nanook got up from the ground and was trying to breathe but the wind was knocked out of him. He was also unaware that Devi was running towards him. Devi was running as fast as she could towards him, with hot steaming tears running down her cheeks because of all the pain she has endured. She was ready to end this fight. Nanook stood up and got ready to commence the strong tiger's fiery. But he didn't realize how incredibly strong Devi was until she punched him right under the jaw. Nanook went flying about 20 feet in the air until landing on the ground once again. Nanook was dripping sweat-blood combination because of the temperature of the hot landscape and because of the scrapes and cuts Devi has created into his thick fur-coated body. He needed to be in his cold ice home again instead of this hot flaming crap. Devi pounced onto the large bear's back like a piggy back ride but Nanook immediately threw her off onto the ground. Devi turned invisible right as she hit the ground so that Nanook wouldn't see where she landed. Devi stepped back a few feet and looked at her snakes. They were majorly damaged and barley even able to come out of her chest. Devi felt sorry for them and started to cry. She couldn't believe what Nanook did to them. Those tears soon evaporated and down came tears of anger. She had to end this. Devi, with all claws out on all fours ready to strike, ran towards Nanook one last time so that she could maybe end this... --------------------------- (Thank you to both Hayes, for telling me what I did wrong, and KK, for making me feel like I didn't do something entirely wrong, well I did do something wrong, but whatever, you know what I mean. Thank you! )

(OCC: GAAAH! I got AM and PM mixed up!!!)
Devi landed on Nanook's back, her sharp claws spilling blood along the volcanic landscape. The bear snarled, and reared upon his hind legs. With a low howl, he allowed himself to collapse on his back, crushing the tiger beneath his mass. Rolling to his feet, Nanook immediately bit down on Devi's shoulder, his powerful jaws ripping and tearing at her flesh.
The demon howled, pulling away from the bear's jaws and leaving along strip of skin and flesh hanging from Nanook's mouth. He spit it out, and charged at the fleeing tiger, but his opponent quickly turned invisible once again. The polar bear glanced back and forth, searching for his quarry. His sense of smell was damaged, but he could still catch the faintest hint of the tiger. He noticed the ash and smoke moving, as if something had run through it. He followed, focusing all his senses into finding Devi.
He picked up a sharp snarl from behind, and spun around swinging his arm out just in time! An invisible Devi, in mid pounce, was sacked out of the air, skidding across the sharp, rocky ground. Nanook ran at the fallen demon, his jaws lunging for her hips...

Devi waited for the right moment, and right as Nanook came towards her hip, she raised up her claw putting the most heat as she possibly could into it, and struck it across Nanook's hot and bleeding face. Leaving four large gashes into Nanook's left side of his face and damaging his left eye. While Nanook stumbled back, Devi disappeared into the steam leaving her opponent to deal with the pain. Devi, covered in red, hot, sticky blood, charged towards Nanook yet again. Nanook could sorta see out of his left eye but chose not to look out of it. Because whenever he tried to look, blood filled in immediately. While Nanook was trying to concentrate on his bleeding eye , Devi made a surprise attack on his back, biting on his shoulder and digging her claws into his back, keeping her grip no matter what. Nanook tried to throw Devi off but it was no use. She was not letting her go. Nanook tried and tried but could not get her to loose grip. So Nanook pretended to be hurt and fell down onto the ground. Devi, stupidly, thought he had enough and stepped off. But right as she did this Nanook lifted his heavy paw and whacked her across the ground. Devi stunned by his attack ran back to where Nanook was laying. Nanook got up but was surprisingly thrown back onto the ground with a thud, by Devi ramming her whole body into his side. Devi camouflaged herself again ran away a distance so Nanook couldn't find her. She tried to pull out her snakes but they wouldn't bulge. She wanted to end this. She charged towards Nanook with a such a loud roar that it shook the ground, and planned an all out attack.... (Yo KK were you like in Tokyo or something? Haha I'm just kidding!)
