Persephone swore as she limped along the sides of the HUB, one arm wrapped around her stomach as she used her free one to keep herself up. How pathetic... she had been fighting her hardest in the championship match,, and then was forced to resign due to stomach pain. FREAKING STOMACH PAINS! Nevermind the fact that she had taken quite the beating from Fenris, her stomach refused to let her fight... it was hurting too much. No doubt Fenris was laughing her ass off somewhere... Here she was, a demon lord, a Ruler of Hell... forced to resign due to tummy aches. But these hurt like nothing else... she could barely even stand from the pain. Not even the healing chamber helped...
"My my, I can't believe you've fallen so far from your Celestial Days, Persephone." The voice of Tenshi reached her ears. Persephone glared up, and there was the Celestial, standing tall and proud, several teeth missing from her childish mug. "To forfeit your fight from stomach problems. Tell me, is it something you ate, or is it backed-up gas getting to you"
"You shut your mouth." Persephone spat at her. "I've been hearing you lost your fight with Arc... Your not even going to stand a chance against the Horsemen..." A sudden grumble from her stomach silenced her, and she rolled onto her knees, curled up as tight as she could.
Tenshi laughed again. "How much does the pain hurt, Persephone? On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the worst? Is it a 9? an 8? Or maybe a 6.5."
".. a freaking 10." Persephone coughed out, blood splattering onto the floor. "Now if you say you knew me in childhood, you'd help me and not stand there laughing, you stuckup angel."
Tenshi chuckled. "Alright alright... I'll help you out. I'm curious as to why you left your room in the firstplace..." The Celestial said as she grabbed Persephone and hoisted her onto her shoulders. Despite them being similar sizes, she found keeping her up rather easy, and began heading off toward Persephone's room.
"Thank you." The Queen of Hell groaned, before barfing. Tenshi barely avoided the vomit at the last second, but saw that there was blood in it. Now she looked worried... not much made a Celestial sick... but if Persephone was truly half demon as well, that would account for it. such hybrids tended to be very unstable in health and power...

Far above the two woman, something watched. It was all but non-existent to the world. No eyes could see it. No ears could hear it. No technology could sense it, but despite all evidence to the contrary, it was there. It watched the two woman, eyeing in particular the celestial. Tenshi didn't know it yet, but she was in the midst of a game of predator and prey. And the predator was hungry.
Completely silent, the thing scuttled along the ceiling after the pair, leaving behind only scratches left in the metal by its sharp legs...

Persephone, sick as she was, had no clue that she was being followed. She barfed yet again, some of the vomit staining the Celestial's clothing. Yet Tenshi didn't seem to notice it this time. The Queen of Hell had expected her to fly into an outrage, or begin spouting nonsense, but instead, she was more busy looking around , as if there was something there that she didn't notice. However, they were already at her room, so Tenshi opened up the door, and walked in, before laying the sick demon queen on her bed. "Is there... something wrong?" Persephone groaned, her face pale and the corners beginning to crust with dried vomit. She was not a pleasant thing to look at, but Tenshi kept her eyes on her for now.
"Odd. Your familiar isn't here. Shouldn't she be by your side and helping you?" Tenshi asked, any tone of mockery gone in her voice. It was as if she were actually concerned for her.
Persephone looked around. Sure enough. Mara wasn't here. It was very odd indeed. Normally, Mara would be here to help her out, but she wasn't. Why wasn't she here? Perhaps she was in a fight? No, that couldn't be.... and why did the UCA seem oddly empty all of a sudden? "I guess... she's in a fight at the moment. I'll be fine here." She groaned, holding her stomach. Her eyes narrows as she saw Tenshi turn and leave. "What is it? you seem worried about something."
Tenshi turned her face back to address the demon. "Of course I am worried. Your an old friend of mine, even if you don't agree with me, and your sick. I would stay to help, but... I have a feeling there's someone else here, someone who isn't good company. Now stay here, until I get back."
Persephone didn't get a chance to respond as Tenshi closed the door behind her. Her back facing Persephone's room, she looked around. Machinery might not detect whatever it was, but a Celestial's intuition was sharp, and Tenshi knew she was being watched... but what it was, or where it was, she didn't know...

A sharp screech broke the silence, sending a cold chill down the Celestial's spine.
The two heroes it had fought before might have won the battle, but somehow it had managed to reach the hub regardless. It had somehow ended up inside a giant hyena when it first arrived, but the thing had recovered from that ordeal not long after. Its return was inevitable. It would always be here. It would always be everywhere. In every dimension, on every planet, in every room, occupying each and every space. Fear was everywhere. But only here, in the UCA, did it have a physical body. Merely defeating that body, as Auroros and Crigan had, would not stop it. Fear was a super persistent predator. And now its prey was alone.
Swiftly and silently the thing descended, invisible to Tenshi. With every step it took, her heart beat quickened. Anytime now...

Tenshi mouth was beginning to run dry as her heart pounded faster and faster... why was this happening? Her eyes flickered wildly about as she pressed herself against the door. Something inside of her was telling her to run, to run away as fast as she could, yet she willed her legs to stand their ground. This was a matter of pride here. If she ran from... whatever it was, her claims would be nothing. Something in the back of her mind was telling her what it was, telling her just what this horrible thing that was drawing near truly was, something she had heard before, but she ignored it. Trying her best to shove the fear in her heart away, She shouted, "I do not fear you! Show yourself, you coward! Darkness may be your ally, but against a warrior of light, the purest of them all, it is as nothing!"

"Well, would you look at this." The tall alien walked down the hallway. Apart from a sheen of sweat, Reclaimer seemed unperturbed. He was definitely afraid, he walked along the hallway, until he reached Tenshi. "Greetings Celestial. What are you doing here?" Reclaimer stooped down in a sort of bow. "Why would you stay here? There certainly unpleasant feelings being created." Persephones vomit still let off a smell. "and unpleasant smells as well."

A taller figure had stepped between the invisible abomination and the Celestial. The thing stopped in its tracks, its focus almost instantly shifting to the newcomer. Reclaimer could certainly feel its influence, but unlike Tenshi he seemed oblivious to the danger he was in.
Was the hall growing darker? Or were Tenshi and Reclaimer imagining things?
The fear that had built up in the angel was steadily magnifying into flat out terror. And the thing's dreaded aura had began to affect the tall alien as well. The beast hungered, itching to feed off their very sanity. The pair together would provide a larger meal than on their own.
If they were to stand a ghost of a chance against this unseeable enemy, they would need something to fight with...

The growing fear was taking its toll on Tenshi. here eyes locked onto Reclaimer, and began to twitch without restraint. Any other situation, she would have smacked the guy outside his head and punish him for not treating her like royalty, but in this case, it was almost distracting, and she didn't want any distractions with whatever it was that was here. "What on earth are you doing here, and who are you? Don't you sense the fear in the air? There's something here after you." she hissed at him. She had a sinking suspicion what she was saying was wrong, but in her mind, it was all she could do to keep herself from running away screaming. That, and the fact she dare not leave Persephone's door. Nothing was getting in at all, and she would make sure of that no matter what.

Reclaimer looked down at Tenshi. "Do you really have no idea what this is?" Reclaimer asked the Celestial. Reclaimers eyes flashed across the color spectrum until they settled on a dull silver. Almost lead. "Ah." Reclaimer looked around at Fear. Sweat beading on his upper lip. As soon as he looked at Crydmarr, his fear mounted tenfold. Before he lost control of all his physical control, he began to walk at the opposite direction. "If you were wise, Celestial you would leave immediately."

But it seemed Tenshi and Reclaimer were in luck. The sudden appearance of latter seemed to have driven Crydmarr's focus off its intended target. The unpredictable thing, still completely invisible to anyone watching, disappeared, its horrible presence fading along with it.
But it would find other prey...

The celestial took several ragged breaths as she felt the presence of fear go away. Good... she could actually breath again. But now, her ire turned to Reclaimer. "Are you tell me, the Queen of Heaven, what to do? I don't need some base fool to tell me something so silly. I need not go anywhere but here! As for you, I demand you leave at once..." And punctuating this, she slammed her foot into the ground, causing a wall of solid rock to rise up to the side of Reclaimer, towering him. "... Before I use you as asphalt. Do I make myself clear?" She said. While whatever it had been that was causing her to worry was now gone, this little gremlin still remained... and he was pissing her off just by the look of him...

Reclaimer looked down at her in suprise. "I meant no offence my queen. I simply recognized the danger, and to protect you, suggested we leave." Reclaimer shifted his face into something that resembled deference, as his eyes turned white, almost to say, I'm telling the truth.

Tenshi was about to snap back at Reclaimer, when she stopped herself. Wait... had she just been acknowledged by this person before her? Suddenly, her entire demeanor changed. her face softened up as she stepped back. "My apologies. I guess I was a little too harsh on you. Now... who might you be? and why are you really here? I sense it is more than just for my own satisfaction." She said. If this worm recognized her as Queen of Heaven... well, perhaps there as some hope for these simpletons in this trash heap.

Reclaimer smiled. Royalty was all the same. "People often call me Reclaimer. I was simply walking away from the drama surrounding... whats his name? Ah, Orsa-Terminus. Everybody got too serious, I simply had to leave. Why are you here? There seems to be no point in staying around this area. Though I am not a celestial. I wouldn't know."

Tenshi gestured to the door behind her. "A friend of mine, an old childhood friend, is lying there sick. I am here to make sure she rests in peace and quiet, and that no one intrudes. It is as simple as that." Here, she raised an eyebrow. "You mention the name Orsa. What does that have to do with things? Who is this Orsa, and why is the UCA so empty all of a sudden?"
