A yellow-orange column of force struck a cluster of stones floating to the good doctor's left. The weightless mass of earthen debris erupted into a broiling geyser of destruction and nearly broke the avian's concentration. Deflecting the pebbles and dust clouds that swept towards her with a gentle psionic wave, Mich shot a look over her shoulder.
"SORRY," echoed an electronic voice from far across the Void. Sid. The former-human shrugged sheepishly at his ally from his isolated isle of floating rubble. "ITS HARD TO AIM FROM WAY OVER HERE OKAY."
Blinking the guilt from his big brown eyes and rubbing his claws together, the little giant ignited his dorsal plates and tried again, unleashing all the power he could muster from his exhausted body. This time, the spear of gaseous might curved straight and true through the Void and harpooned into Orsa's luminous core- with only a bit of help from Mitch's telekinesis.
"TIME TO DIE YOU SICK FREAK. YOU'LL PAY FOR ALL THE LIVES YOU TOOK."

((OOC: You guys can all post normally at this point. I won't post the finale until everyone has posted their attack on Orsa's core. Just wanted to inject in case anyone was confused. Carry on! ))

This was it...the decisive moment.
Shinryu let itself fall to the nearest stable piece of ground orbiting the mutated Orsa, cinching its tail around a solid jut of rock and digging its claws into the earth...drawing dangerously deep of its waning magical energies for one last assault. First, the serpent craned its head upward and forged a thick, solid, jagged Stone Glare spire, adding more and more to its length until it was close to twice as long as its own body. Next, it summoned a Maelstrom to engulf the humongous stone stake, spinning it to intense speeds.
This done, the dragon pushed itself up from the ground, aimed and launched its combination of spells straight toward the abomination's heart...and readied one spell more to unleash, snarling unconsciously as it strained to summon the needed power. As the stone spear and its enshrouding Maelstrom drew close, with a hoarse yet powerful roar, Shinryu sent a Flare blast spiraling down the spike's length--to strike Orsa's core all at the same time. The Stone Glare mass smashed and splintered apart chunk by chunk, delivering one high-velocity impact after another; the Maelstrom turned the jagged shards into a storm of deadly flechettes even as it drove the main mass; and the Flare imbued sharp rock and scouring wind both with scorching heat.
The gargantuan form of Orsa trembled, and Shinryu could not keep itself from cringing as the devil's earsplitting roar resounded throughout the void, but it did not relent. Panting in exhaustion, barely able to hold itself up on its arms now, the serpent nevertheless poured what remained of its power into driving the furious, fiery Maelstrom against Orsa's heart, determined to end this threat to all of existence...even if that meant perishing with it.

Digging his fists into the ground and lowering his head, Behemoth grunted as his crystalline spikes ignited with emerald energy. A roar escaped his maw as he poured every last ounce of energy he had left in him. His three volcanic cannons glowed brilliantly. Smoke was seeping out faster than any volcanic eruption seen on earth, filling up the skies of the void with ash. A low ruble resonated within his body, growing louder and louder and louder…
*BANG! *
A lava beam exploded from his shell and shot over his head.
*BANG! * *BANG! *
Two more lava beams exploded from his shoulder cannons.
The three powerful beams of searing heat raced towards Orsa’s core, all three combining to create one gigantic beam of ungodly heat before impact…

This was it. One more push and Orsa would truly and finally fall. One decisive blow would determine the fate of them all. But in that moment, Halcitrox's body was not up to the task. His breathes came in ragged gasps, his strength depleted. As he faded out, he heard a voice, one he had not heard in decades. It floated to him, as if from a dream.
"You can do this, young one. You were our creator's greatest triumph. You have the power to end this. Rise, and show them all your true strength. End this abomination. You were born for this."
Through the haze of memory and the disorientation of weakness, Halcitrox could make out that familiar form, that familiar face. Half flesh and half machinery, yet the closest to family he had ever had.
"Be strong."
The shadow dragon's eyes snapped open, emerald eyes blazing with inner light. His body was battered, bruised, beaten, but his mind...his mind was as strong as ever. And that, was where his power truly lay. With a surge of will, the dragon lifted his body off the ground as streamers of black fire engulfed his form. One last time, he would rise, and end this abomination once and for all. Once more, unto the breach.
The flailing, screaming form of Orsa-geddon was trying to stitch itself back together when the blazing black dragon rose over the floating islands. Halcitrox targeted Orsa's core, as the black flames coalesced into a single sphere of destructive potential before Halcitrox hurled into at Orsa's core component. The roiling sphere struck dead center as it exploded outwards, engulfing Orsa and much of the island he stood upon in the blast. The screams of the abomination rent the very air asunder as Halcitrox collapsed nearby. He had done his duty.
The end had finally come.

Pain... unending pain was what Orsa felt. The beast's core had been struck by the full brunt of the hero's assault; its weak spot could not handle such incredible firepower! Finally, the beast's power source gave out form the assault. With a burst of energy, the abominable titan of destruction's core exploded with incredible power, sending eldritch energies blasting outwards in all directions. Eyes widening, Orsa unleashed a harrowing scream of pain, as the beast's body began to crumble apart. The heroes' assault came to an end, seeing their work had been done. The Abomination was in its death throes; the end of this nightmare had finally come.
Orsa howled in pain as his hide began to peel off, melting away like sludge under the hot blazing sun, exposing muscles and bone. The monster's cries of pain quickly devolved into gargles of pain, as green blood splattered out form the beast's now enormous maw, as rays of light began to slice themselves out from within the beast's body. All around the heroes, the dimension Orsa had sent them into was visibly beginning to collapse; the very dimension was warping itself towards Orsa's form! Even the platform the heroes stood upon was getting sucked towards the self-destructing form of the abomination!
"We have to get out of here!" Shinryu shouted. Using his magic, Shinryu quickly tore open a rift, using the realm's weakening barriers to allow them to escape. "Quickly! Get the wounded through, and we will be out of here!"
Mich quickly grappled Captain Toxic's melted form, compressing it into a sphere to transport through the rift, while Behemoth hoisted Pavoroc onto his back. Moving fast, the heroes hopped through the rift, before Shinryu passed through as well, closing it behind them. Orsa glanced down at the heroes in spite, as Armageddon's voiced cried out in defeat. Finally, Orsa's torn body could not contain his power anymore, and with the force of a million exploding stars, Orsa exploded, causing the entirety of the void to completely collapse, the dimension erasing itself as its master was eradicated from existence, never to be seen again...
When the heroes awoke from the chaos of passing through the rift, they came upon the ruins of the city. Ashes rained down from the sky, like water from the heavens. The city crater stretched several miles, as a strange, inky substance fell down from the sky as well, covering the monsters and heroes with it. Within the crater rested a strange object, as eldritch energies swirled within the crater, signaling the death of the deadly behemoth. After so long a battle, it was over- the abomination's reign of terror was finally over. Orsa-Terminus had been slain by the great champions of the UCA. With the death of the abomination, there was hope that perhaps, things could get better for them.
But within the crater, something could be seen forming, reminding the heroes that there was still more to be done...

At first, there was only silence as the heroes rose. No one dared speak... They could hardly believe it... at long last, Orsa had been slain...
"We... did it... Crigan would be... proud." Was all that came from Mara's mouth, finally breaking the silence. her legs slipped out from under her, and the fox collapsed onto her side, blood oozing from her wounds, and her once magnificent white coat in tatters. A light came down from the sky, and Mara's form was taken off by the UCA, ready to take this hero needing dire healing, and bring them back to full health... She had done all she could, and now, all she could do, was hope that the soul of her husband was at peace...

Though he cast concerned brown eyes at the spot where the grievously wounded Mara had previously occupied, Sid wore a happy expression, albeit a tired one filled with pain and regret. The little guardian placed a clawed hand on his shoulder and rolled it. A few wet cracks rang out. He- along with a few of of the heroes closest to him- winced in discomfort.
"SHIT THAT WAS TOUGH," the formerly human monster noted dully with his borrowed voice. "GLAD ITS OVER. WONDER IF THAT PERV APE WOULD MIND ME DROPPING BY AND GETTING DRUNK ON THAT GOD JUICE AGAIN." His rattled bones let out more hollow pops. Sid grimaced.
"LORD KNOWS I NEED IT."

In the smoldering ruins that contained the ultimate annihilation of the fiercest beast in UCA history, smoke rolled through the battlefield. The group of heroes breathed sighs of relief. It was over. Orsa – Armageddon, he was over. Done… Dead. All that could be heard was the gusts of winds blowing through the smoky ruins and the shifting of rubble as some structures continued to collapse from the damages done.
But it was Shinryu who first noticed it…
In the center of the crater, as ash covered its form like snow, a humanoid body twitched. It was horribly wounded. It’s entire being tortured to a near unrecognizable state. One wing was broken in half, only a few strands of burnt flesh connecting it to the body. The other was gone entirely.
The heroic reptile’s nostrils flared. “Impossible…”
Thinking Orsa was regenerating, the others turned their eyes to the wreckage. Their eyes too opened wide…
His arm reached out, hand missing fingers and bones crushed into dust. His head lifted, an eyeball hanging loose from its helmet. He gasped, breathing air for the first time in weeks. A literal found of crimson blood spewed from his mouth, causing the giant to roll over. A shrill cry of agony escaped his body as he crushed the remains of his wing in the process, severing it…
The group watched on as the entity lifted his left arm, the elbow popping and cracking as it straightened. His hand opened wide, palm pointing at the darkened heavens. Like the Red Sea, the skies parted. A brilliant, golden column of light was cast down. The creature was bathed in the beautiful display. The sounds of a symphony of angels rang as the golden light washed over the entity like water. The vile and burnt damage washed away. His golden armor began to shine as brightly as any sun…
The heroes either looked away or shielded their eyes.
The entity’s arm lowered. With a harsh breath, the creature’s body began to regenerate. The dangling eyeball returned to its socket. The shattered wings re-sprouted from his back, completely reformed with pristine, white feathers. He began to stand, the golden light coming down fading into nothingness in the process…
Conquest slowly shook his head, the Spartan-like helmet clanging against his chest armor. His arms dropped to his side, hands clenching into fists. His majestic wings flapped twice, stretching and feeling the air for a few moments before folding. The demonic thing breathed deeply, not feeling pain for the first time since being consumed by Orsa. Perhaps he was the reason the eldritch titan had become so powerful? It didn’t matter, however. In the vastness of the universe, they’d meet again. Whether Orsa, or Armageddon, wanted to or not. Rage filled the Horseman’s mind, but a sort of sixth sense made him realize he wasn’t alone.
Turning his head, his cruel, red eyes locked onto the heroes. The creature’s lips twitched as his burning eyes peered into their souls. Too anyone unfamiliar with the UCA, the Horseman would look as if an angel. Clad in beautiful golden armor, avian wings as white as fresh snow, he looked the part. But as soon as those eyes locked onto theirs, everyone knew that this thing was as evil as they come…
The warriors, tired and exhausted from their enduring war with the living nightmare, stood tall and proud. They were ready for another fight. Perhaps they would get it.
As a gale wind blew between the opposing forces of good and evil, the sounds of hooves filled the cold air. The champions looked up, eyes narrowing as three figures descended. They all knew who they were. But something was different. Something was off. It was as if the vile darkness residing in each of them had been amplified. Death had changed the most, his body glowing with an aura of dark power. His lower torso, minus his hooves, covered in a drifting smoke that rolled around his entire being, giving the embodiment of evil a ghostly appearance.
War, the largest and brutish of the bunch, landed with a thud. Thick clouds of smoke escaped his gasmask with every breath and his eyes, usually hidden behind the dark glass of his mask, burned with the fury of Hell itself now. His horse-like tail whipped the air and his shoulders rolled. The living tank was itching for a fight.
And finally, at last, landed the sickly Famine. His skin hung loose and some parts even rotted, not unlike that of a zombie. While one eye looked forward, the other lazily twitched and gazed in the complete opposite direction. His olive-colored tongue hung loosely from his dry, cracked lips whiles his uneven, and some even broken, teeth chattered…
The Four Horsemen had returned.
Orsa’s time to shine had come and gone. And in his absence, the demons of demons had time to mature. Like a fine wine, they got better.
Conquest cruel eyes matched those of Death. They approached one another, the twisted angel nodding and short snout twisting into an evil smile. “Nice to see you again, brother.”
Death remained eerily silent, only the sounds of his smoke drifting from his body responding to the resurrected Horseman.
Conquest glanced back at the awestruck heroes. “What do we do with them?”
The reaper slowly lifted into the air, arms at his side and empty eye sockets casting a look upon the victorious. He spoke, but without moving his skeletal jaws in the least. “Let them live.” He looked away, “To die another day.”
Conquest’s winds unfolded and with a gentle flap, he was carried into the sky next to him. Famine took lifted off, carried by an unknown force. Finally it was War’s turn. And like any battle, he was powered by explosive might. A vast flash of light and flames was followed by smoke as he rocketed up, carried by his own demonic equipment. “We’re back!” The beast shouted as he and his brethren flew into the smoky clouds, “Spread the word!” His booming voice echoed like thunder in a canyon while their forms vanished skyward.

After Sid disappeared, Michiru was the next to vanish. Before she was engulfed in a bright flash, she uttered a few words through her broken beak and blood bubbling from it.
"Still wish my first bout here woulda been more relaxing..."
The next moment, the feathered telepath was in her quarters to heal.

Behemoth looked to his remaining allies, allowing Pavroc to gently slide off his back. "From this day forth, if you ever find yourselves in danger..." He paused, and a hint of a smile cracked across his otherwise stern face as the lights of the UCA took him away. "I will stand beside you, until the end of time."
