The Terrific Titan of Terror: Triax!vs The Predatory Paranormal Pelerudont: Tarakona!Ref: The Great Godly Gabby Gira! Intro: As the light of the teleportot beam faded away, the brown carapace of a gigantic insect faded from view. Only the dim glow of the UCA's stones provided any sort of light, which Tarakona instinctively turned away from. The creature gave a pleased chirp as he located a small underground lake, little more than a deep pond to the monster. His mandibles clicked as he slipped into the dark water...

Intro: Triax stood in the hangar. Ready and waiting for his next match. 3b1l had allowed him access to certain emotions. Chief of which being anger. That dinosaur had torn him apart like it was nothing. Yes Tel had gotten his due process, but it had not been by the claws of Triax. He was ready to vent this rare anger into whatever piece of meat the UCA would throw 3b1l, which they would then throw to him. He stepped onto the pad, after the blinding flash of light. Triax walked forward, then nearly smashed his head on a rock formation. Everywhere there were rocks and moisture. Triax almost groaned. He seemed to set his shoulders, then waited for his opponent. Not realizing that it had already arrived..

MONSTERS... FIGHT!

Resting at the bottom of the pool, Tarakona picked up the heavy footfalls of Triax, slowly marching across the rocky floor. His mandibles clicked, and his small antenna flinched. His compound eyes could view the surface without having to turn his head. The insect saw the gigantic machine stomp by, blissfully unaware of Tarakona's presence. The predator's mandibles clicked again. He had fought machines like Triax once before: three forty meter mechs and one roughly one hundred meters in height. They had been pursuing a wounded Eloth when the pig-like pelerudont had stumbled into the sea. The mechs attacked Tarakona when he appeared to claim his prize, but the insect was able to drive them into a retreat. Now a single mech, larger than any he had ever seen, stood in his path. The predator's pincers began to click rapidly, as the monster prepared to drive drive the mechanical titan away.
Triax slowly thundered away from the pool, still waiting for his opponent to appear. A muffled chirp was the only warning he had.
Propelled by a concentrated jet of water, Tarakona exploded from the lake like a rocket! The pelerudont slammed into Triax from behind, his huge pincer tipped forelimbs gripping the machine by the shoulders as his four smaller legs searched for a foothold around his torso, their sharp little claws doing little to Triax's heavy armor. A spark of green energy suddenly wrapped around the monster's carapace, forking into jagged bolts of an unknown type of energy. Like lightning, the energy surged from Tarakona's body to Triax's with several deafening cracks, briefly illuminating the entire cave. Sparks flew as the energy traveled through his armor, melting crooked holes into its surface as though it were an acid. Every bolt left a black mark of melted metal, coating his back and shoulders in corroded burns and scars of ruptured metal. Even worse still, Triax's systems began to glitch as the electromagnetic pulse given off by the bolts took it's toll on the electronics and circuitry. While none of its systems had been permanently disabled, bright sparks and wisps of smoke seeped from gaps in the machine's armor. Triax stumbled, a result of one of the EMP induced glitches, as one of its many backups raced to replace the one already damaged. Tarakona regained his foothold on the damaged mech, aiming his labium at the back of the mech's head.
The jaws shot faster than the eye could follow, and an echoing bang range through the the caverns as the secondary jaw actually burst through the armor, barely missing the power conduit below. The powerful pincers at the tip squeezed together, crushing internal circuitry and metal and ripping them out with a violent tug. The labium brought the mechanical parts to Tarakona's mouth, but the insect quickly found that the taste was quite unpleasant.
An explosive missile suddenly launched from Triax's shoulders as a glitch occurred around that area. The projectile soared around the room before turing back and nailing Tarakona in the thorax, throwing him off the mech with a powerful explosion. The predator screeched, legs failing in the air as he struggled to his feet, while Triax regained his footing a few hundred meters away, using the time to fix the glitches the EMP had caused.
The insect crawled towards his larger opponent, rearing back as Triax swung out a massive, clawed arm. Tarakona responded in kind, his own giant forelimb slamming across the torso of the slower mech. Triax actually stumbled back at the blow, as the jagged edges of the monster's claws carved away two small gashes, and the heavy armor bent inward with the force. This monster had amazing strength in its giant legs! Tarakona ducked as another mechanical limb passed over his head, and as he did so, his secondary jaws shot out at blinding speed towards Triax's right ankle, the weapon cloaked in surge of green energy...

(OOC: I'm sorry about the massive wait time. I have had a hard time getting on to the internet recently.)
Triax looked down at the massive insect. As the jaws attempted to shut around his foot, an echoing crack coursed through the cave like a sonic pulse. Suddenly Triax's foot was high above Tarakonas head. Before the insect could react, another crack rang out, and a massive metal foot slammed down onto the chitin covered back. Sending a crack spreading across the insects armor.
Tarakona hissed and drew back. Triax was thrown into a cavern wall from the blow delivered by the labium of his foe. Tarakona crawled over to the downed mech, ready to press his advantage, however, before he could complete his attack. He was driven back by two explosive missiles. Each impact rocking the massive insect, though not doing much damage.
Tarakona was still shrinking back as he heard more cracks fill the chamber. Most were hydraulic, but some seemed to be the sounds of rocks breaking... Suddenly, Tarakona felt a massive impact in its head, negated somewhat by his armor. the insect looked up and saw Triax clutching a massive rock formation like a club, poised in an overhand strike, ready to deliver another massive blow to Tarakona...

As the rock club swung down, a jagged bolt erupted from Tarakona’s spiked thorax and exploded against the hilt. The acid-like quality of the bolt instantly burnt through the rock, and the club dropped to the ground beside the insect. The predator countered immediately, his huge forelimbs rising up over its head. Pincer-like claws scratched at the sides of the waist of Triax as the insect gripped him tight. Positioning his overhead horn towards the mech, Tarakona thrust his body forward while simultaneously pulling Triax in with his powerful arms. A horrible screech of ruptured metal filled the caverns as the sharp carapace surrounding the sturdy horn pierced through the mech’s armored chest plate, helped along by the force of Tarakona’s arms. The attack was amplified as a surge of energy traveled through the horn and into the mech! The gaping hole widened as the acid-like energy burned away at its interior, eating through internal mechanisms and circuitry. Triax sparked and as the electromagnetic properties overtook him, his knees slumping to the ground. Taking advantage of the temporary inactivity from his opponent, Tarakona rose up on his four hind legs and heaved the mech off his horn will all the strength his titanic arms could muster.
Triax hurtled through the air from the pelerudont’s sheer strength, his heavy frame crashing against a column of stone and dropping into the shallow end of an underground lake below.
By the time Tarakona had scuttled over to the edge of the lake, Triax was already rising to his feet, his backup systems trying to replace the electromagnetic damage. His many eyes took notice of the deep, half melted hole left by his energized horn. It took only moments for the monster to hatch a plan to further damage the wound, and the insect dived into the lake after his prey.
The gigantic mech was standing waist deep in the lake, having finally overcome the series of glitches. A missile erupted from its shoulder, chasing the predator into the water. A high pitch screech and a sudden explosion of water told him he had hit his target, but the mech was soon faced with a new problem. The insect was speeding around him, propelled by a jet of high-pressured water. Triax struggled to keep up with him, slashing at the surface with his claws, but the aquatic beast evaded his attacks. With little to no warning, Tarakona exploded from the churning waters, claws outstretched to tear apart his opponent. A loud *CRACK* filled the caverns as Triax intercepted with his hydraulics, and the two titans found themselves locked together, brutal arms pushing against one another in contest of strength. Tarakona screeched, his labium snapping at Triax’s face, but the larger mech was barely managing to keep the ferocious beast at bay. The grip of the insect’s pincers, locked around the mech’s wrists, began to tighten. Alarms sounded in Triax’s artificial mind as the armor around his wrists began to crumple and fold under the extreme pressure exerted by the pincers. Mechanical components underneath threatened to snap of bend under the crushing force. With one final push, Tarakona forced the arms of his opponent back, and his labium lashed out at blinding speeds to cave in the face of his mechanized enemy…

(OCC: I should probably post my exit...)
An angry hiss escaped the insect as his opponent disappeared in a ray of electronic light. Apparently the EMP's had destroyed the mech's internal circuits, rendering the mech useless for the fight. Not long after, a ray of light enveloped Tarakona as well, whisking the hungry insect back to its living quarters, where it would celebrate its victory with a fresh batch of Masked Serpents...
