After Devi's victorious fight against Mr. King Cane, she returned to her home in Hell. She sat there laying, sighing, getting bored. She looked around for awhile and soon she started to begin to yawn.
"Alright this is boring!" Devi exclaimed. Her servant waddled over and said, "May I get you anything ma'am?"
"Nah it's fine," Devi sighed. "Go get yourself a latte or something, it's on the house."
"Thank you Ms. Devi! It's much appreciated!" Her servant exclaimed. She then took off her apron quickly and hurried out the door with a little wave. Devi watched her go and as the door closed, Devi realized she should have asked for something. Devi sighed a couple more times watching fire balls fly through the air and smash into the ash ground outside. 'This is so boring, I need to go somewhere.' She thought.
She was thinking maybe she could go to the nearby fireball alley and smash some bone-pins or maybe go visit some of her friends down the way. These both sounded boring to her but what else was she going to do? Devi headed out the door and trudged towards an elevator so she could get out of her boring apartment. She then headed into the elevator, along with some fellow kaiju from the 4th floor. "Hey guys!" Devi said with a smile.
"Hey Devi!" One said.
"That was a crazy fight with that lizard guy!" Another said.
"Wait, how'd you know I was in a fight?" Devi questioned. They all then stepped out of the elevator on to the main floor.
"Uh, duh Devi! We watched you at the Hub!" Another one said very sassy.
".....the Hub?" Devi asked being very confused.
"Devi. Are you totes legit right now? YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HUB IS?!!?" One said stepping towards Devi angrily.
"Girl, calm down, she's new here. The Hub is a place where you can go and see kaiju fight, socialize with other kaiju hanging around, and you can get really good food there! We are actually going there right now! Want to come with??" The nice one said.
"Uhh, sure I'll come. I've got nothing better todo!" Devi replied happily.
They all then ordered a fire tornado to earth, and arrived at the Hub in an instant. This place amazed Devi! It was so big and it had hallways leading to all different places. There were screens everywhere playing past and present matches, along with Daily Kajiu News. Devi was so amazed by all this she didn't hear her friend from the elevator say that they were heading off to see some other friends. Once Devi came back from all the amazement, she started freaking out because her friends were gone! 'What!? Where are they?' She thought. Devi became worried, but realized that they would be fine on their own if someone attacked them.
Devi decided to wonder around and find a food quart for some grub, because she was starting to get really hungry. When she walked, she saw tons of kaiju standing around talking, and as she passed by, they fell silent. Devi looked around suspiciously and started to walk faster. She heard numerous murmurs saying "Is that Devi?" "Is that really her?" "How'd she get healed so fast?" Devi tried to ignore these comments and walked on into a very large room. This room was crowded with chairs and couches that were filled with kaiju drinking drinks and laughing like there's no tomorrow. She had reached the cafeteria, at last!
She walked up to the counter and ordered some fried dough bits, and sat down at an empty table. Devi looked at all the other kaiju, laughing with all their buddies and friends. She noticed some familiar faces but everybody else didn't look like they wanted to join her party of one. She sighed and ate her dough bits in silence. She watched some of the matches on the jumbo-screens but nothing was entertaining. 'If only there was someone to talk to' she thought.
