The Elimination Chamber for UCA Championship

[The Great MM]

Riptide vs. Gluttorous vs. Neo-SpaceGodzilla vs. Fenris vs. Azazel vs. Hangurî Satsujin



Inside the hub, as various battles take place, warning lights began to blare. A human male voice comes over the speaker system. “Elimination Chamber for the UCA Championship match is about to begin!” There was a slight pause before the man finished, “The following monsters are too go to the nearest telepod to be transported to the arena: Riptide, Gluttorous, Neo-SpaceGodzilla, Myston, Fenris, and Azazel.”

In at the Colosseum sector, the entire field was covered in the massive chamber. Surrounding the chamber, countless seats were filled with humans and aliens alike, cheering as they waited for the death match to begin. Power generators around the structure began to kick to life, feeding the sections with various traps. Sparks began to fall from one side, flames began to appear on the other, ice formed on the next, and acid began to pool in the other…

The crowed waited for the group to arrival……..


(OOC: Okay guys, have your kaiju appear in the center of the chamber. Do not start fighting yet. The starting two will be randomly drawn, then the other four will be sent to their holding container.)

Fenris was the first to appear.

The demonic wolf had been waiting anxiously for a week and immediately materialized in a bright flash. Snarling and bellowing, she raced around the circular center. The crowd roared in excitement. Fenris, ever the showboat, puffed herself up and stood tall, flames flickering off her pelt and shadow rearing up in a hideous shape. Stretching out, Death's Bride grinded her claws against the floor, howling savagely. The crowd went wild.

Her glowing yellow eyes scanning her blood-thirsty audience, Fenris pulled her fearsome jaws into a small grin. She was going to enjoy this.

"This is it," Ben said as he stepped up to the telepad and prepared to be sent to the mech hangers. "Maybe this will provide you with the distraction you need."

"It might. I've noticed some of the security systems get diverted when a really big match is on, probably to keep things on track. Maybe, and this is a big maybe, I can get a few fingers into their security systems and start working on a way to get us out of here," Natalie answered in a whispered tone. "Good luck."

"Yeah...you too."

And with that, Ben stepped into the telepad and was whisked away in a flash of bright light. When he could see again, he was once more inside the UCA mech hangers, a massive facility that held dozens of other machines, including a white one he kept getting a sense of deja vu for every time he saw it. But what he was really here for was Riptide. The cobalt and silver machine stood proud, despite the "modifications" the UCA team had made to its weapons.

"This way, sir," one of the techs said, as several armed guards appeared by his sides to escort him to the lift.

"When are you going to put the guns away?"

"Just move, sir."

"Fine, fine..."

Within minutes, Ben was suited up and inside the cockpit. Once all the preflight checks were complete, Riptide was transported through yet another telepad and into an arena unlike anything Ben had ever seen. The whole thing was a mix of lightning storms, blizzards, fireballs and boiling acid. The whole thing was a hellish nightmare to look upon.

"Wonderful. Another day, another deathcourse."

"Warning. Telemetry readings indicate additional targets being warped in."

"Charge all weapons systems and prepare to engage. This is either going to be really short, or really long."

[Raven]

With a loud boom, the giant turkey Gluttorous was woken from his slumber. The beast slowly pulled his head from under his wing to find that a speaker was set up next to his perch, no doubt the source of the offending noise that forced the giant bird out of his peaceful sleep. But such a small thing wasn't much a trouble, Gluttorous only needed to step on the little thing and then his head vanished back under his large sweeping wings.

The next thing the avian knew he felt a slight tickle on his back, once more uncovering his head to see what was going on. As the bird turned it's neck it saw a machine type gun anchored to the wall and it seemed to be trying to do some harm to the thick muscled kaiju. This was taken care of with a swing of his tail, the matted mace on the end created a small crater in the metallic surface and left only bits of steel in it's wake. However, the turkey didn't seem so willing to go back to sleep, studying his chamber with a sweeping gaze, he noticed that another panel folded out of the wall with what looked like some rather pesky missiles aimed at the kaiju. With an annoyed snort the beast opened it's beak and made a nasty belching sound, sending a wave of pure force out to destroy the odd little weapon before it even had a chance to fire.

-----MEANWHILE----

The man who was in change of Gluttorous' cell was freaking out, he knew he should use more powerful weapons but if the beast was damaged so much that the upcoming fight proved pathetic, he knew he would be fired. So the poor soul tried two machine guns this time, but they met similar fates as the first, being taken out by a massive beak and a sweeping wing.

Desperate the caretaker reached for the beam cannon latch in a last ditch effort to try and get the stupid fat tub of a monster to move. But before he did he remembered something. His hand moved away from the powerful weapon and instead hit a different one, the once nervous being began to calm down, feeling that he had everything back under control.

----BACK TO SUPER TURKEY-------

Gluttorous was not amused by the odd little things that tried to give him pain, the avian was very much considering just ripping his way through the walls when a final panel opened. The kaiju readied another destructive belch as he watched the wall with narrow eyes.

Suddenly the bird's eyes went wide, this was no threat, in fact it was quite the opposite! The massive turkey was staring at an equally massive slab of meat, hovering over an odd disk shaped thing in the floor, not that this mattered to the kaiju. Gluttorous hopped down from his perch, the weight of the monster caused a shock-wave felt several meters from the beast's chamber as he thundered across the floor in an overpowering charge for his treat.

But just as Gluttorous nearly had his bill around the juicy hunk of flesh, there was a bright blinding light that caused him to cry out in shock. The next thing the kaiju knew, he was in what looked like a giant bowl, standing next to a huge dragon shaped machine and a growling animal thing.

With a pained wobbled the turkey looked around for his prize, not finding his steak anywhere in sight the monster gave a slightly depressed sounding sigh before finally turning his eyes to the others. Gluttorous was not stupid, he knew why he was here, though he would rather not be engaged in pointless fights. The monster then began to judge the others in the odd bowl with him. One was a huge mecha, which didn't interest the kaiju one bit, while such things were fine to sharpen one's beak or talons on, there wasn't a scrap of flesh on the thing, making it a worthless foe in Gluttorous' eyes. The strange dog thing wasn't much better, though the turkey wasn't bothered by flesh in any stage of decay, there was something that smelled wrong about this creature, as if it's flesh was tainted too far even for the bird's powerful stomach.

The turkey made an annoyed snort before glancing away from the others, this fight would not be any worth to him, after all what good was battling if you can't eat the defeated and then sleep for a week after the feast?

Azazel flew into the center of the chamber. He glared at the monsters around him with firey evil eyes. He looked forward to the upcoming battle. He was confident in his great power and skill. Blood would flow this night. All would die at his mighty hand!

[Inferno Rodan]

In yet another flash of light, Neo-Spacegodzilla arrives in the chamber. The crystal tyrant looks around at his opponents. Some he’s seen before, others he hasn’t. The machine in particular catches his interest, and his gaze lingers on it for a bit longer than the rest. He can’t quite put his finger on it, but it seems familiar somehow. Aside from the massive wings, it vaguely resembles a mechanical version of his brother, but that’s not it. No, the sense of familiarity is deeper than that. He feels as though he’s personally met this thing before deep in his past. But that couldn’t be it, as the only machine he’d encountered before being brought here was the one that fought against him alongside his brother. He breaks his gaze at the machine and growls. No matter. Familiar or not, it will fall just like the rest of them.

(Okay MM, go ahead and make your announcement regarding the change in the lineup)

[The Great MM]

Inside the demonic structure known as Satan’s Playground, five of the UCA’s most powerful, most lethal kaiju awaited. The tension was high once Neo-SpaceGodzilla arrived, snarling aloud. Riptide stood with Ben inside, keeping an eye on all of the other beasts that he had never seen before. Roars came from the others. They all knew another monster had to come, and all waited for the kaiju known as Myston. Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into a half hour. The monsters were growing highly annoyed until the familiar voice of the human behind the UCA came over the speakers.

“Myston has been withdrawn from the match.” The voice declared, making groans and snarls come from the beasts, and loud boos from the countless beings watching beyond the confines of the cell. “But fear not, a replacement has been found…!”

In a flash of light, the oni known as Hanguri Satsujin appears in Satan's Playground. The ogre's wounds from his bout with Musashi had already healed and he was ready for another brawl. The red ogre lets out a demonic howl, sending a chill down the spines of several spectators. Millions of cheerings and boos followed shortly after the demon roared. The crimson demon turns to face the other fighters in the chamber and sports a devilish grin on his face.

"I'm going to enjoy killing you all." Growled the Oni.

All six monsters stood within the dome. A calm befell the group of god-like warriors as they awaited mortal combat to begin. They were from different worlds, but all knew only one thing: fighting. In this twisted environment, they’d have the biggest, hardest fight of their lives. The UCA allowed the spectators to watch, chanting the names of the six titans. As inhuman as Neo-SpaceGodzilla was, pride engulfed him as “NSG! NSG! NSG!” began to ring over all others. For over a minute, Neo-SpaceGodzilla stood proudly until another name grew louder: “FENRIS! FENRIS! FENRIS!” When the Oni’s name was shouted, the evil Hanguri Satsujin yelled, throwing his fist into the air and rolling his shoulders.

It kept changing every minute or so, every monster being chanted at once until the fans just began screaming names over and over.

As the fans continued rioting, the booming voice of the UCA began. “Monsters…” The masculine voice drew to a stop, “Your guest referee is…”

As the people continued to shout and the six combatants looked around, a sudden flash of light at the center made all six step back. From the center of the metal floor, a round opening slid open and an elevator-like shaft rose up. Steam of sparks flew into the air as a gigantic humanoid form emerged. Massive, the guest refree for the first ever UCA Elimination Chamber came from the alien world known as MM’s World.

The Hessian had been captured by the UCA! Former pilot Zachary Styles was no where to be seen, replaced by a highly powerful AI system. His massive shot gun hung from his arm, ready to punish any that dared break what little rules this battle had. Its entire upper torso had also been repainted black and white stripes, much like a referee’s shirt in any sporting event.

“The Hessian…” The crowd went nuts, “Is your referee! Same rules as normal fights apply. Any of those that don’t follow them will feel Hessian’s wrath. Any attacks on the Hessian will also result in punishment. Three strikes against a single combatant, and you will be automatically teleported back to the hub and removed from the match!”

The Hessian looked around at the group, its single, orb-like eye flashing red in a warning. “Now we will find who starts this match!”

The six kaiju stood in a circle around the Hessian, snarling at one another and the ref. Suddenly lights above the group began to shine down. “This light is randomly stopped. Who ever it stops on will be the first one in the match!”

The monsters looked up, eyes narrowed as the light came down in flashes. Neo-SpaceGodzilla, Riptide, Azazel, Riptide, Gluttorous, and then Hanguri Satsujin. It flashed on each of them numerous times randomly. For over a minute, the group waited patiently until it began to slow. It came down on Azazel, then Riptide… and finally it stopped….

On Neo-SpaceGodzilla.

The super monster roared greatly, surging energy through his entire body. “NEO-SPACEGODZILLA!” The UCA president announced.

As the monster looked around, the lights continued to flash on all of the other combatants in the same manor. As before, it took its time before starting to slow. It came down on Riptide, Gluttorous, Hanguri Satsujin, and then it came down on Riptide again! The light shined directly down on the man-made machine.


“RIPTIDE! The starting monsters will be Neo-SpaceGodzilla versus Riptide!”

The four kaiju looked on as the powerful entities eyed one another up and down as if they had faced one another before.

Within each of the four sections of the chamber, the energy containers appeared, huge parts opening as if doors. The UCA president boomed again…

“Fire: Fenris
Ice: Hanguri Satsujin
Electric: Gluttorous
Toxic: Azazel”

The kaiju looked at one another, snarling as they turned and headed to each section. As they approached the edges, the elements began to die down, turning to normal steel flooring. The acid drained, ice melted, fires cooled, and electricity dissipated. The four monsters stepped into their small containment fields, unable to escape or be broken out by any known force, kaiju or otherwise. They’d remain here until being freed by the UCA only, and until then, they’d watch as the battle unfolded. The elements began to turn on again, spilling the chamber with more noise as the people continued to cheer…


Neo-SpaceGodzilla and Riptide faced off with the Hessian in the center. The machine stepped back, lifting his massive shot gun into the air. Just as his foot came down, the gun fired with a deafening thum…

“FIGHT!”


(OOC: Here is a link to The Hessian. As said, he is acting only as a ref. Attacking him will mean punishment. This means throwing opponents into him, firing at him, etc. IE: DO NOT MESS WITH HESSIAN OR THERE WILL BE DIRE CONSEQUENCES! After six posts, a third kaiju will be released. Neo-SpaceGodzilla is to post first!)

[Inferno Rodan]

As soon as the word is given, Riptide tries to fire on his opponent. At that same instant, Neo-Spacegodzilla’s eye flare and glow crimson, and the machine is hurled backwards by a telekinetic blow. Riptide crashes down a few hundred meters away, just at the edge of the central area.

The crystalline monster fires his Corona beam at the downed machine, but to his surprise it does almost nothing. Even more to his surprise, the mech sits up and nails him in the face with its Super NOVA. NSG shrieks and stumbles back, allowing Riptide to take to the air and launch itself at him, Plasma Cutters activated. With a snarl, NSG telekinetically swats the incoming mech to the ground, making torrents of sparks fly as he grinds it across the metal floor. Without stopping, he then lifts the machine off the floor and with a mental flick hurls it off to the side.

Riptide once again lands at the edge of the central area, specifically near the toxic section. This time, NSG follows, stomping toward to downed mech, crimson energy crackling across his body.

As NSG slams down, Ben struggles to move out of the way, but quickly realizes that he can't quite do it. So he does the next best thing. He let's his opponent hit him where he wants to be hit, the wings. Twin feet smash into Riptide's left wing, pinning the machine to the ground, but only for a moment, as a hiss of escaping gas indicates that the wings were being detached. Riptide rolled to one side, avoiding immediate retaliation, at the same time lashing out at NSG's legs with one titanium alloy plated foot.

NSG buckled from the blow, giving Ben an opportunity to stand before delivering a rapid series of blows to the back of NSG's head, followed by a swift kick, toppling the other monster over into the boiling acid.

As NSG's roar of rage and agony was silenced as another beam from the Super NOVA struck him in the head. Not one to take a hit laying down, NSG fired off another Corona Beam, stabbing into and through Riptide's armor, a fact that caught Ben off guard.

"How the hell is he penetrating the armor like that?"

"Unknown. Initiating scan."

"Good. In the interim..."

A volley of missiles launched from ports on Riptide's legs, headed straight for NSG...

[Inferno Rodan]

NSG roars in pain as explosions cover his hide. An instant later, a Corona beam lances through the smoke and strikes Riptide in the shoulder, the beam stabbing into the armor and exploding. He quickly follows up by swinging his tail at the mech’s legs, the dagger-like crystals at its tip piercing the armor of its left leg as the force of the blow sweeps its legs out from under it and sends the mech toppling to the ground.

As NSG gets to his feet, Riptide tries to do the same, only to be forced back down and held there by NSG’s telekinesis. Keeping his foe pinned, the crystal tyrant forms a large ball of energy between his hands and launches it off into the distance, deep into the electrical section. A dozen or so crystals sprout from the metal floor at the point of impact a few seconds later. Being raised features on an otherwise flat area, bolts of lighting almost immediately begin striking the crystals.

Grinning wickedly, NSG turns his attention back to Riptide. He again fires his Corona beam, this time splitting it in midair to strike multiple places all over the machine’s body. He then mentally lifts Riptide up, then tries to slam it back down against the metal floor.

Sparks fly as the machine collides with the metal floor, only to be be dragged about by NSG's mind. Fortunately for Ben, NSG's telekinetic hold on the machine does not extend to its weapons' systems, as twin beams of thermonuclear energy lance towards NSG's chest. The crystal tyrant screechs in rage as his flesh is seared by the attack, giving Ben an opportunity to move out of the way. Rather than keep his distance this time, he instead closes the gap, stabbing the saurian in the thighs with both Plasma Cutters, the energy blades cleaving flesh, muscle and crystal with ease, before withdrawing one fist and decking NSG in the face.

As NSG reels backwards, Ben presses the assault, firing the Super NOVA at point blank range, striking his opponent right in the face and blinding him, even temporarily. As NSG attempts to counter-attack, Ben surges his machine forward and attempts to drop the other monster once more into the acid pits...

[Inferno Rodan]

NSG can do nothing to prevent himself from being dropped into the acid, but he has no intentions of going in alone. As Riptide releases him, he latches onto it with his mind and pulls the machine down with him. They both splash down into the ankle-deep acid a moment later, NSG roaring in pain as it eats away at his skin. He quickly hovers up out of the acid and rights himself before spinning around and slamming his tail down onto Riptide’s back. The tail comes down again and again, each time the sharp crystals at its tip carving into the mech’s armor. As he raises his tail up to deliver a fifth blow, Riptide manages to activate its thrusters and get out of the way, NSG barely stopping himself from slamming his tail down into the acid.

He fires his Corona beam at the airborne machine, nailing it in the leg. It manages to stay in the air though, before landing in the center of the arena. Just as it touches down, NSG fires yet another Corona beam, hoping to score a more direct hit this time.

As the swirling energy beam streaks towards his machine, Ben quickly hits a few controls and raises Riptide's arms. The Corona Beam strikes what appears to be an invisible barrier, as it's dagger-like tip explodes against rippling air.

"And for my next trick..."

Riptide surges forward, striking NSG rapidly across the midsection with both Plasma Cutters, leaving a pair of smoking wounds in their wake, before jetting backwards and firing the ANECs and the Super NOVA simultaneously. The combined energy output of the beams exploded against NSG's chest, leaving another pair of scorched wounds before Ben closed back in and attempted to deck NSG in the face.

But NSG was waiting for him this time, as his barbed tail snaked out and struck Riptide in the chest, to the left of the central orb, driving through metal and synthetic diamond like it was tissue paper, before ripping it back out and widening the gap.

"Dammit. I can't keep taking hits like this."

"Analysis complete. Target's energy weapon appears to contain an energy element consistent with known psychokinetic energy outputs."

"So that explains it's ability to bypass the armor. Well then, let's just keep close so it's harder to use."

And with that, Riptide jetted forward again, plasma blades extended...
