Light finally came into the eyes of the kitsune. With a groan, Mara rose to her feet, shaking. What... What happened? Was that a nightmare she had? A golden monster, tearing her and her family apart... She had been bloodied, wounded and near dead... yet now, she was in the forest, fully healed and without any sign of injury. She swerved her head around, until it hit her like a sack of bricks. The championship! She had recalled hearing the High Council speak of it earlier... and now, here she was, waiting for her opponent. The fox lurked through the forest, unsure as to what to do... Stay and fight, or leave?
She sighed. She might as well have stayed. She could sense that Crigan and Diamen were alright, but how she knew that, she wasn't fully sure. Must have been the perks of being a demon. And if they were watching... well, she couldn't let them down. And maybe she would find the answer to what on earth was going on if she fought... Her teeth bared, and leapt up onto a fallen log, awaiting her foe...

A single, slender light beam came down from above, its light radiating throughout the forest. Like a beacon, the light shone, as a hunched shape appeared within the light. Soon, the light died away, revealing the horrifying form of the abominable creature within. Rearing his ugly head, the cybernetic warrior, Tel Megiddo, stepped forth, blade rested upon his shoulders as he grim mask obscured his visage. The being's eyes locked onto Mara, who had also spotted him, standing atop her log. Tel chuckled, before he suddenly broke out into a hideous laugh. The telekinetic warrior raised his off-hand, and pointed his finger directly at Mara before he spoke, his voice croaking like a broken old man's.
"TIME... TO DIE..." Tel groaned. "JOIN... YOUR HUSBAND... IN DEATH..."
The being lowered his sword, as he adopted a battle stance. It was time to destroy this fool in the name of his master... ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
From within the hub, a shady man's attention shifted to that of Tel. Beneath his mask, he smirked. His two underlings were ready for battle. Soon, the world would know his power...

As the battle cry rang out, Mara quickly found herself on the defensive. She leapt off the log just as it shattered into pieces, and landed on the ground, before having to leap again to avoid another telekinetic blast from Tel. This thing... all she could sense from it was torment and hate. Just WHAT it was, she didn't know, but she could see it, the darkness in Tel's eyes...
Darkness... And then, the terrible roar, the unearthly screech that haunted her nightmares played out. That... had actually happened. Was this horrible creature in line with that abomination? Was it the coming of pure evil?
At that moment, she froze. Tel snickered as he held the fox within a telekinetic grab, before chucking her into a tree, the tree bark splintering as Mara's body slammed against it and fell to the ground. But as Tel prepared his next attack, Mara leapt toward him, faster than his eye could follow. The fox's body collided with the cyborg, her claws digging into his armor and flesh. Tel's entire body was lit alight as electricity surged through him, frying his flesh, and electrifying his armor, his hide beginning to boil. Mara would have kept up the pain, but out of the corner of her eye, she sensed movement. She leapt back just in time to avoid the deadly blade, then dashed back in. Her paw slashed against Tel's helmet, scratching the armor and knocking the beast back. He had spoken threats against her... and against Crigan. No one threatened her family! NO ONE! She spun back around, electricity forming in her mouth as she fired a Zap Cannon point blank at the recovering Tel's head...

Before Tel could react, extremely high voltages danced within the armored being's head and through his body. Tel let out an audibly pained moan- something rarely heard from the nerve-dead being. The beast's body spazzed out and shook violently, the cybernetic monstrosity slowly rising to his feet despite what should have been a paralyzing blow. Mara's eyes widened, her pupils shirking in horror, as Tel used his sword as a cane to raise himself up off of the ground. What kind of monster WAS this thing? Tel looked Mara in the eyes and simply laughed, his soulless gaze narrowing as he stabbed his blade tip-first into the ground.
Suddenly, Mara felt a horrifying pain inside of her head, as her forehead's skin literally split, blood dripping down from her skull, causing the majestic kitsune to collapse to the ground in uncontrollable pain. Before she even realized what was happening, she was launched backwards with the force of a million kaiju-sized trains! Several trees were split in two form Mara's body striking them, before Mara rolled a dozen times across the ground and slumped down limply in a rut of dirt and earth. Her body was covered in cuts and bruises, blood dripping profusely down from her temple, and blood and dirt staining her body's beautiful white fur. Mara stumbled to her feet, her mind in a daze from the crushing blow to her face, her vision distorted and blurry from the attack. Before her, she saw Tel slowly marching towards her. The kitsune could barely keep herself on her feet, as her head was in still in extreme pain. She couldn't focus! She tried to launch a sphere of electricity at the creature, but she couldn't focus long enough to do it, and simply collapsed back onto the floor.
Tel could only laugh at the pathetic display from his opponent. What a joke. This was his opponent for the crown of the entire UCA? His main obstacle in order to receive the most hallowed of all championship belts? Pathetic. A voice soon entered the Kitsune's mind, but it was not Crigan, nor was her son Diamen; rather, it was the voice of the wretched creature before her.
"Why do you fight me, peon?" Tel snarled. "What do you have to gain from defeating me on the field of battle? Affection. Worship. Respect. All for what? The "protection" of your foolish friends? For the entertainment of hateful creatures who take blood sport as a game?"
Tel took a few steps forward, seeing Mara narrow her eyes at him in anger as she struggled to her feet.
"Do not continue this wretched conflict, and listen to my words," Tel hissed. "There is a man here who offers us all freedom. He has come from beyond... he has come to liberate us from this hell, to finally be freed from the despicable shackles that have contained us within the abyss!"
"Fr-freedom?" Mara replied as she rose to her feet. "What do you mean?"
"It means join me and my master, demon," Tel replied mentally. "Join me, and you too will be freed from this place."
"What of Crigan and my son?" Mara replied, her strength slowly building back up. Tel paused, before he replied in the cruelest way possible.
"Forget about them," Tel bluntly stated. "All they have ever done is hold you down... keep you weak. Their presence in your mind has clouded your judgment and stolen your strength. But abandoning them will give you power you cannot possibly imagine."
Mara bared her fangs. "Then it is no deal."
Tel smirked beneath his mask and chuckled. "So be it then."
Suddenly, a powerful, telekinetic force struck Mara in the chest, smashing in her chest and causing blood to fly out of her mouth, before she was sent flying upwards and over into a nearby tree, slamming back-first into the trunk behind it and sliding down onto a branch below. Gargling udner his breath, Tel ripped off one of the branches on the tree and launched it at the still recovering Mara...

The branch struck Mara across the side. With a yelp of pain, the fox was thrown off her temporary perch, and crashed down to the hard ground below, blood splattering from her mouth from the hit. She groaned as she rose back up, eyes glaring daggers at Tel, who chuckled lowly as he advanced. "You are no threat to me or my master, fool. You are weakened from your fight with Orsa... too weak to even take me down. I gave you a way out... and you reject it. Why are you held back by such frail emotions, such useless things like love?" The cyborg hissed, as he held up one hand, preparing to send out another telekinetic blast.
But just as he was about to do so, Mara's body twisted into lightning and bolted out of the way! Tel's eyes widened as the bolt struck him across the face, the mask cracking and fragmenting from the physical blow, shards of it digging into Tel's face as he was nearly thrown off his feet. The bolt twisted back around, reforming back into the fox as she leapt once more at Tel. This time, claws sliced through the cracks in the armor, digging into the soft, vulnerable flesh. Tel''s blood... his own blood, was now leaking out of the cracks and gouges in the armor, which had been made to take piercing blows, yet Mara's speed made the force behind these attacks more than the armor could bear! It was like being slapped by a kaiju-sized bear. Tel was hurled into the trunk of a large tree, the telepathic monster groaning as the redwood absorbed the impact, Tel slumping down against the base of the tree. As she spat out blood still dripping from her mouth, Mara's upper lip curled back, revealing sharp fangs all too eager to tear his head off. "Darkness... I gave myself into it once before, let my doubts overtake me! I was a fool, a coward who believed the words of a devil, and I paid for it." Mara snarled.
"So... What?" Tel rasped back, as he stood back up. Several fallen branches rose up around him, and he flung them at the fox like arrows. This time, though, Mara was well prepared. Her claws dug into the soil, her mouth parted, and a Zap Cannon fired out. Those sharpened branches aimed for her were blasted apart, while Tel, realizing he couldn't evade it, was hammered right back into the side of the tree. Every inch of him hurt. Flesh that had been made to resist pain was now flaming with pain receptors screaming once more. As the beam of electricity focused, a hole was being burnt through his armor, now scorching and burning the very flesh beneath it. Tel's body was lit up like a Christmas tree, curses being blasted out by the demented figure as he was being pushed into the tree! And then... it stopped. With half his body now embedded into the tree hull, and a smoking hole in his armor with flayed, boiled flesh beneath it, Tel glared back at Mara as she now chuckled the same way he had, her tails curling up with orbs around them. "You cannot break me like Persephone did... I know better than that not. I've seen too many things, killed too many things, and broken too many things to be the same old naïve lady I was back at that house on the hill... And now, you dared to turn me back there? I am no one's slave... Not Persephone's, not her Elite Guard's, and not your master's!" She howled, before hurling the dreaded orbs toward Tel's form...

The spheres of electric power struck Tel straight in the chest, sending high voltages into the cybernetic monstrosity's chest. Tel groaned in audible pain as high voltages lanced through his body causing more smoke to rise from his already smoldering form. As the pain stopped, Tel briefly fell limp, his body slumping down to the floor like a corpse. Mara's eyes filled with a grim sort of satisfaction at what she had done. This wretched creature had been thoroughly punished for what it had done. She had shown no mercy to it, and she felt no regrets for her actions. But suddenly, she saw the hideous creature begin to move. A chuckle could be heard, followed by sick, raspy laughter as the armored being stumbled to his feet, his body smoking form the high voltages run through his body. He stabbed his blade into the ground, as he glanced up, his empty eyes staring directly in Mara's own.
"You believe yourself to be free, that you are not a slave..." Tel mocked, his voice sneering within her mind. "You delude yourself as some 'reformed being', LIBERATED from the SHACKLES of her own foolishness. But you are wrong. Your weakness of will makes nothing BUT a slave.... a slave to your family, a slave to those stronger willed than you, a slave to YOURSELF. As long as you live, you will never taste TRUE freedom... your own being dooms you to an eternity of serfdom."
"You're a liar!" Mara yelled, as she rushed towards Tel in a blind rage, her form like that of a raging god. But her fury blinded her, for as she approached, Tel raised his blade and slammed it right across Mara's face. The rusted blade bit into her hide, quite nearly cleaving her face in twine from the surprising power behind the blow. The impact caused Mara to roll across the ground, blood and bits of flesh and fur following her face's trail across the ground. When Mara arose, the entire right side of her face had been sliced and crushed into from the blow. From the tip of her nose to the base of her neck ,a vicious cut ran, blood dripping profusely from the wound. When Mara flexed her jaws, the cut widened, blood dripping out of it even more profusely than before prompting the Kitsune to yelp in pain, her eyes filled with pain and anger towards Tel.
"I envy your delusion, Mara," Tel hissed within her mind, his voice sincere, but also filled with anger and somewhat jealousy. "I wish I could live in the fantasy you enjoy, a peace of mind that I have not felt in over a century. But it is not to be so. I shall continue down my path to damnation, a path where my only wish is to finally see my own face once more. My hopes and dreams have been placed upon my master, and I will not let you take that away from me!"
With a bellowing roar, Tel unleashed a psychic blast near unrivalled; earth split, trees bent over, winds shredded plants apart from its raw power. Mara had no time to react; with more power than a punch from the beast himself, Mara was sent flying backwards! Her upper chest ripped open from the power, exposing muscle and bone, and quite nearly crushing his ribs into mulch. The power of the blast sent her clean through the trunk of a tree, causing the mammoth natural structure to collapse upon itself in a plume of dust and dirt. Mara lay in a broken heap on the floor, narrowly avoiding getting crushed beneath the tree's collapsed trunk, but she had only a few moments to recover. The kitsune barely had time to struggle to her feet before Tel climbed over the ruins of the tree and grasped her with his mind once more, the Kitsune's body violently contorted, eliciting cries of pain from Mara, as Tel forced her body into a very painful sphere. Rage filling his voice, Tel unleashed a roar as he lifted her up into the air and brought her smashing down towards the earth like a meteorite...

It was a thankful thing that Tel had lifted her up so high before trying to smash her down to the ground. It gave Mara just enough time to stop Tel's course of action. With several flick of her tails, electrical orbs flew down at the distracted psychopath and nailed him in the mask, nearly toppling him over as his body crackled and surged with electricity. This was all Mara needed, as Tel's psychic powers were disrupted. Twisting herself into lightning, she tried to curve up at the last minute, to avoid the ground below...
only, she hit a tree instead.
Her form took solid shape as the crashed through it and into the ground, her head throbbing and aching as it bled further. That HURT... but it was better than the alternative. She shook her head, rose to her feet... and leapt away just in time to see the ground where she was cave in. She whirled around, and found herself starring once more at Tel. Mara's fangs bared themselves once more as she leapt toward him, moving faster than the psychic could anticipate. He was knocked onto his back, the fox standing right ontop of him. Her claws sunk into his armor, and her body began to glow. Arcs of electricity danced off of her as she unleashed it, a point-blank electrical pulse that surged right through the armor and flesh into the body. Tel was roasted alive, his flesh sizzling and his blood boiling. "You wish to live the life I did, as a slave to an evil monster, forcing me to hunt down the very man I love and watching everything I knew burn around me? GO ahead then, take that life... I never want to become the servant of that witch ever again! Go ahead, take my pain and misery.. infact, let me give it all to you now!" Mara howled as she kept pumping more and more juice into Tel. His eyes began to roll back into their sockets...
Then refocus as Mara was pried off of him and blasted into a tree from a telekinetic blast. Now there were several gouges in his armor where the claws had anchored themselves, but he could only chuckle as he saw the fox slide down the tree, blood smearing the bark of the impact site. "I would rather live the life of a slave, sworn to carnage, than a torn body doomed to wander until Judgment Day!" Tel rasped as Mara slowly rose up onto her feet. "ANY life is better than the hell I am doomed to live, every second of the day, as I have lived for over 100 years. I would rather be forced to kill and slaughter in the name of your queen, than to wander existence for all eternity, a broken husk of what I once was!"
Mara said nothing, but focused her energy into the ground. Yes... it was there... metals and irons in the soil she could use. As she focused, large chunks of ground tore themselves from the earth, much to Tel's amazement. "You are not the only one around here who can send things flying with their mind! So let me put you out of your misery right here and now, and send you to her palace!" Mara howled as she reared onto her hind legs and roared. With that, the chunks of earth flew forward, and Tel found himself trying to repel away the projectiles. He stopped a large boulder with his mind, and was about to hurl it back when another rock as big as he was plowed into him from the side. The frail monster was sent crashing into the earth, his armor bent and caved in from the impact. Blood drooled from his mouth as he rose, only to see an entire tree flying right for him, one 60 meters long, and with his name on it...

Tel's gaze narrowed as he focused his gaze onto the tree that was flung at him. Willing up all of his immense internal willpower, Tel unleashed a powerful telekinetic blast right into the center of the tree's enormous trunk. The tree was split cleanly in two, the lower half of the tree rolling across the ground, forcing Tel to blast it in twine once more, the two halves narrowly missing the downed telekinetic. The upper half of the tree flew overhead, before barreling over several other trees behind Tel. The cybernetic warrior stumbled onto his feet, touching the side where the bitch's massive rock struck him. The psychopath raised his rusted gauntlet, and saw blood... his own blood. Impressive, he must admit.
Tel had little time to contemplate to himself, however, as the kitsune was upon him in a flash. In the form of a bolt of lightning, the Kitsune lanced straight through his chest, eliciting a grumble of discomfort, as his body sparked once more and he hunched over, clutching his chest briefly. Mara whirled around, her face twisted into a grin of some sort of sick enjoyment, as she rushed him again, this time with her claws at the ready. Tel was prepared this time, however, as he quickly turned to face Mara, before she was suddenly met with a powerful force that surrounded her, gripping her tightly within its grasp, before she was quickly slammed into a tree with enough force to split the trunk, driving sharp splinters into her back like needles. Mara was frozen, bleeding, and unable to move, her chest expanding and contracting swiftly as her eyes darted about in a panic. Tel approached the kitsune, her body pushed up against was left of the tree with the hideous being's mind.
"You do not... understand, do you?" Tel growled in her mind, his eyes narrowing from beneath his mask. Tel laughed, as if almost mocking Mara. "Your hatred of me blinds you to words. Continue your hate, creature of darkness. You only further prove my point."
"Shut up, you dumb brute!" Mara growled, before she suddenly howled in pain, Tel's grip tightening around her. The grip ripped slices into her neck and body, tearing deep gouges into her flesh, blood running from the wounds like water.
"I do believe you are in no position to insult me, worm," Tel replied angrily. "Now, where was I? Oh, yes... your anger. For one who claims to be reformed, you are regressing far quicker than you should be... I can sense to darkness dwelling within your heart. I can feel the slave within your soul, YEARNING for a being to call "Master". I can sense the urge to kill, and to destroy, building up within yourself.... and you consider yourself my better. You consider yourself a superior."
Tel laughed once more. "Truly pathetic, I fear. I expected better from one so full of hubris and power. But what else could I have expected from a weak-minded slave such as yourself?"
Tel relinquished his grip, which prompted Mara to immediately lunge at Tel like a savage beast. Tel only smirked, as he sidestepped the lunge, causing the kitsune to fall face first onto the floor, dirt covering her face. Using his telekinesis, Tel flipped Mara over and held her in place, before he warped his hand into its cannon form and jammed it up against Mara's chest. Mara unleashed a charge of electricity, but it was too late- a powerful point-blank blast of plasma energy ripped across her chest, and sent her sliding across the forest, tearing a rut in her wake. The plasma blast forced her head-first into a tree, and when it was done, smoke could be visibly seen rising from her body. Her entire chest had been horribly burned, all fur completely removed from it, leaving her underbelly a smoking, burnt mess of flesh and fur. Tel unleashed a hoarse, heartless laugh, before he uprooted 3 trees with his telekinesis and flung them right at Mara, aiming to crush her beneath them...

Everything was hurting for Mara. Her white fur, if not burnt completely away was on fire, her flesh was charred, and she was dizzy as could be. She turned, trying to regain her senses... and in her blurred vision, could see the rapidly approaching forms. She tried to dodge, to get away from them, but she was too late. One of the trees connected with her side, and though she wasn't crushed as Tel had hoped, she was instead catapulted through the forest, crashing through the undergrowth until she slid to a stop at the base of a large tree. blood coughed out of the mouth of the fox as she rose up onto her feet, the sound of tel's laughter ringing all around her. "Like I said... weak willed AND weak bodied!" Tel's voice echoed in her mind. Blood was dripping down from the fox's mouth, but she shook it away. She refocused, a fire burning in her eyes. She wouldn't let this creep have his way, not without his entire body toasted to cinders!
With a loud battle cry, Mara's electrical form darted out of the underbrush. Tel whirled around, and prepared to grab her, but suddenly, the impossible happened.
The already fast fox... was going even faster!
There was no chance for him to even react as Mara's form darted past him, before whirling around and darting past him again. At first glance, it seemed like she was only running circles around him, but closer observation revealed that each pass was accompanied by her claw slicing into the holes in his armor, zapping and boiling the skin and blood beneath. After the fourth pass, one of her tails lashed out and wrapped around the neck of the psychopath. Tel was yanked onto his back as Mara began to run around, dragging him across the ground. Rocks, shrubs, broken branches all were smashed against him, banging against the armored helm of the creep and brusing or cutting whatever flesh they could impact.
And then, Mara dug her claws into the earth, twisted around, and flung Tel with all her might. the momentum that had been built up, along with the actual throw, was more than enough to send Tel flying at speeds that would make most Olympic kaiju throwers envious. And he would have flown for hundreds, if not maybe thousands of meters, had there not been a particularly thick redwood tree to stop his flight.
CRUNCH!
It was almost sickening to hear, Tel's body crashing into that tree so fast. the armor that was on him cracked and broke from the impact, blood splurted out, and his form slid down to the ground, though after a few moments, he began to stir. Mara's eyes narrowed. What did it take to kill this bastard? Bracing herself, she once more fired her Zap Cannon, ready to pin him against the tree and see if she could burn a hole through his damn body...

But Tel was hard-bodied and was equally tough to keep down for long. Because of his dead nerves, even the most brutal of blows failed to keep the hideous cybernetic psychopath down for long. A grim smile could be seen forming beneath his cracked mask, as the electric sphere of destruction hit him. Tel slammed his blade into the ground as the sphere made contact with him, Tel's body violently convulsing as high voltages coursed through his body. A vicious, half-crazed slasher smile spread on Mara's face as she watched Tel fry, but she was about to be very disappointed. Rather than groaning in pain, Tel simply laughed as the electricity racked his tiny frame. Smoke trailed off his body as the voltages stopped, and Tel collapsed onto one knee, but only for a moment. Tel almost immediately rose back onto his feet, his body trailing smoke, but he was otherwise seemingly unfazed. The smell of burnt flesh filled the air, yet Tel kept going, almost as if he didn't care....
"HAHAHAHAHA...." Tel chortled aloud, his body's normal voice like that of a heavy smoker, full of phlegm and heavy breathing. Mara was disgusted by the sound of his voice, having grown used to the much more refined voice he spoke with telepathically. "YOU... ARE... WEAK. THUNDER.... STRIKES.... CANNOT FAZE ME!"
Mara snarled, as electricity crackled up her spine. Tel's eyes shot to the side, where he spotted a sizable rock. Before Mara could unleash her bolts of lightning, Tel flung the rock at Mara's side at high speeds, slamming into her ribs with the force of Kitamura's punches. Flesh ripped open from the brutal impact, exposing muscle, as the impact shook Mara's ribs and torso, inflicting nasty pain as she was sent flying to the side. The kitsune rolled multiple times before she slowly slid to a stop, her breaths raspy and pained from the impact. A sharp, stinging pain shot up her side with each breath, as if the impact had jarred her ribcage! Mara groaned and slowly rose to her feet, but Tel was not one to relent so easily or quickly.
With a bestial and furious roar, Tel yanked a branch down from a nearby tree, and brandished it using his telekinetic powers like a giant's club. Mara, pained but still able to fight, ducked under the first blow and hopped to the side to avoid the second one. The kitsune and the cybernetic psychopath locked eyes for a moment, before Mara made a fatal error. In her fury, the raiju kitsune lunged at Tel, her body engulfed in electricity, but Tel had anticipated such a move on her part. With a smirk, Tel slammed the branch into her body, knocking the wind out of her and sending her flying backwards before slamming hard onto the ground, creating a small crater upon impact. Tel snarled, before he slammed the branch down onto her body like a meteorite, the hunk of wood exploding into splinters upon impact, and hammering Mara's body into the ground, splitting her shoulder's flesh upon impact and driving a few splinters into her hide.
Tel stomped over to Mara, his body still smoking with electricity, as she weakly attempted to get up. A firm foot was suddenly placed upon her back, as she looked up to see Tel, his blade at his side as he looked down at her.
"And this is where your journey ends, weakling," Tel chortled within her mind. "You have failed, utterly and completely. Your life was nothing more than failure after failure, watching as your delusions crumbled around you into oblivion. Failure to fight against Persephone's will, failure to protect your family form your own now-damned hands, failure to protect the ones you loved from total and utter destruction. It must be painful to continue living, the sins of a thousand ruined lives and shattered dreams resting upon your shoulders."
Tel suddenly grasped his blade's hilt, and raised his sword overhead, aiming the blade for the base of Mara's neck. "So allow me to end your pain."
The blade sliced through the air with the wail of a crying banshee, as Tel prepared to finish off his weakened opponent...

"You are wrong."
Tel was blasted off his feet as Mara unleashed an electrical pulse at that moment, his armor and skin frying as he was launched, along with the sword, to the ground, the earth denting as his form skid across it. Several dozen meters away from his hand, the blade lay on the ground. Tel growled, and looked up, seeing Mara rising up. her eyes reddened and starring down at him. There was a cut at the base of her neck, where the blade had only managed to nick, before she had blasted it away. "You are dead wrong, Tel. I may have done those damned things before... but now, I possess the power to set right what was wrong.. to defy your evil, and to ensure that none of this ever happens again!" Mara growled. Tel noticed it, the air around him charging with electricity. Lightning bolts now streaked from Mara's fur, and zapped everything around her. Trres, soil, rocks... they were all being blasted apart. Tel tried to defend himself, but the moment he tried to concentrate, one bolt slammed into an open wound on his chest. The flesh there charred the blood vessels near it boiled. Tel let out a silent roar of anger as he was forced back, as more and more lightning splashed the ground around him, until finally, Mara howled into the sky. a surge of electricity swirled around her...
and revealed a true devil before him. Her fur was now standing on end, ligntning arcing around her. Her eyes burned with hellfire, and she bared her fangs, showcasing a blue light coming from within. "NOW PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES!" Mara bellowed, before charging at Tel. The psychopath tried to blast her, but it was like tagging the wind. She was moving faster... too fast, even. A large paw struck the cyborg across the lower jaw, and Tel's dying pain receptors screamed. It was like being hit by a freight train with a shock generator on the front. Not only did circuitry blow and blood vessels explode, but he was sent airborn, his body crashing through the undergrowth as he finally stopped, a long gouge in the earth where he had been hit, his helmet cracked even further. As he tried to rise, Mara's form burst out above him, electricity surging around her as she prepared to backslam down onto him!

Tel's eyes narrowed as he focused intently on the approaching form of Mara. Jaws clenching and hand thrust forward, Tel tried to stop Mara from striking him, but his mind needed recovery from the battering it took. Tel managed to slow the rampaging kitsune's descent a decent amount, but not enough to save him from the impact- Mara slammed full-force on top of Tel, slamming his prone form into the earth, sending high voltages coursing through his body. Mara rolled off of his body, the psychopath's chestplate crushed inwards, blood dripping out from beneath the impact zone, as Mara reared back and prepared to bring an electric-powered paw down upon him. However, she would be denied, as Tel's hand shot out and dug its nasty, rusted claws into the gaping wound on Mara's chest, causing the kitsune to rear backwards in pain. With a swift yank, Tel ripped a massive strip of muscle out from the wound, exposing a large portion of her ribcage in the process and causing Mara to slump down and back off, her breaths audibly ragged with pain, as the cyborg tossed his prize aside, sending it splattering against a tree, painting its trunk with Mara's blood.
Tel seized this opportunity to rise up onto his feet, his body smoking and chest bleeding, as his empty eyes became bloodshot, their pupils shrunken with rage. Tel's mask was almost completely removed from his face, exposing large portions of his face. The right side of his face was totally open, exposing one of his soulless eyes and the disgusting damage done to his jaws and upper face. His eyes full of rage, Tell thrust a hand up, and brought it down, a powerful telekinetic blow like a hammer slamming down atop Mara's head. The impact was brutal, destroying Mara's own mask upon impact and splitting her forehead, exposing her skull and sending flesh and fur flying from the impact. Mara's head smashed into the ground, getting buried several dozen meters, and causing Mara's limbs to sprawl outwards from the blow.
Suddenly, Mara felt a powerful force grip her body, as she was lifted off of the ground, mud covering her face and obscuring her vision. She fought the force, but it was too strong- it was like being a full-body cast, completely unable to move! Tel's pupils dilated, as he clenched his jaw, the viscera on his cheek visibly moving, before Tel began his assault. It was like getting pummeled by Orsa all over again. Each blow felt like a sledgehammer striking her body. Punch after punch struck the kistune, each blow hammering against her soft flesh, splitting it and causing blood to drip out of the locations, ugly bruising covering her body. A couple of the blows hit her exposed chest, causing Mara to choke and spit up blood with each hit. Finally, the assault ended, Tel dropped Mara's bloodied and broken body onto the ground, where she lurched over and coughed up more blood, her whole body heaving and clearly in pain from the vicious assault wrought upon her.
Tel approached Mara, but he said nothing. The two locked eyes, and Mara could feel it, even despite her rage- there was a genuine hatred that lay within Tel's soul, a fire unquenchable by any amount of blood spilled... but that fire raged on, and continued being quenched by Tel's murderous mind. It was in this moment that Mara began to understand Tel's words- his spirit was broken beyond repair, beyond hope of living again. His only hope truly WAS the path he had chosen. Mara felt his pain, but knew that she could not show mercy to this creature because of her emotions. As Mara pondered, she readied herself, before Tel forced his hand forward, sending a powerful telekinetic blast straight towards her face....

It was at that exact moment, that Mara also returned fire, this time with a fully charged Zap Cannon. Both attacks went right past each other, and hit their targets dead on. Mara was flung off her feet and slid onto her side, more blood dripping from her mouth, while Tel snarled as the beam stabbed into one of his wounds, blood bursting forth from his body as he also was hurled off his feet and onto his back. Both lay still for a moment, then two... then three...
and then, Tel slowly rose. Ignoring his newest injury thanks to his dead nerves, the abomination lumbered toward Mara, his sword back in his hand. He stopped right infront of her, and raised up the ugly blade, preparing to sink it into the depths of Mara's chest...
only, he was beaten in the speed department, even with the fox as injured as she was. Mara's tails swung upward, electricity running along them as they each fired their payload right into the wound at point-blank range. Tel was pummeled, his chest armor cracking even further, even breaking from the assault, and the wound only becoming more and more exposed, and charred. He screamed in anger, crying for Mara's blood, but the fox wouldn't let him so easily. She was upon him in an instant, whirling upward and sinking her fangs into his exposed flesh. Lightning danced from her and into Tel as she sent in surge after surge of electricity through the dying flesh and electronics. Circutry broke down. Blood once more boiled, and Tel was being fried alive.
Kill him... Kill him for all he has done! Make him suffer for his crimes! He does not deserve to live for what he has said. A dark voice echoed within Mara's mind. She had never heard the voice before, but in the bloodlust of it all, she was only too eager to oblige. Though with her super mode down, her fur and appearance returning to normal, she prepared to fire a Zap Cannon, point blank, right into the wound. Perhaps she could make it go out his back, and put him out of his misery...
