Tel's single exposed eye whined, the hideous creature's breath raspy and gargled, like his lungs were filling with fluid. Though his blood was burning within his body, and some of his electronics had been damaged form the sheer amounts of electricity that had been pumped into his body, he pressed on. Tel's body was more alive than dead; physical trauma barely hindered the being, even as extreme as it had been. His body was powered more by machinery than flesh.... and his sole needed source of energy was his raw hatred for the world. As Mara charged up her zap cannon, a powerful telekinetic blast hammered her lower jaw, crushing her fangs into the roof of her mouth and causing several of her teeth flying out of her mouth in the process and causing her to briefly back off. Tel seized this opportunity, and attempted to rise onto his feet. Tel hissed, and pushed himself upwards off the ground, before reaching down to pick up his blade. Mara, however, would not let him do this unimpeded; the kitsune lunged forward like a rabid hound, and tackled him to the floor, before snapping her jaws around his neck, ripping and tearing away at his gnarled flesh. The cybernetic monstrosity was equally ruthless, however; placing his hand against her chest, his hand soon warped into its plasma cannon form, before he fired a wicked stream of superheated plasma right into her chest, blowing the kitsune off of him, several dozen meters into the air before crashing down roughly 100 meters away. Tel groaned, the kitsune's teeth having been forcefully ripped out from his gnarled flesh, leaving deep ruts in his hide, a tooth of hers even getting stuck! The cyborg rose onto his feet, ignoring the massive amounts of blood dripping from his now torn up neck and simply staring the rising Kitsune in the face.
Mara snarled, before she launched several electric spheres at him, all of them aimed directly at his exposed chest scar. Tel snarled, as he pulled up a wall of dirt using his telekinesis, the dirt absorbing both the high-voltages and the concussive force of the spheres with ease, before he launched the wall at Mara. Mara dodged to the side, allowing Tel to reach down and pick up his sword just as she launched another volley of spheres at him. Tel snarled, as he used his telekinesis to quickly lift a broken branch up from the floor and using it to intercept the assault, before launching the branch at Mara. As Mara leapt over the branch and rapidly began to approach Tel, the cyborg sideswiped her with his powers, causing several large shards of wood slamming into her side, shredding flesh and drawing blood while also causing the kitsune to lose balance. Tel snarled, the exposed portion of his face clearly clenching into some bizarre mockery of a smile, before Tel uprooted another tree with his telekinesis and brought it down towards Mara like a hammer...

Pain racked Mara's body as the tree hit home. it felt like her bones were being crushed like powder... all the air was knocked out of her, and she screamed in agony as the tree smashed her against the ground. There was blood... so much blood on the ground, and most of it was hers.
And yet, she wasn't going to give up.
As Tel tried to swing the massive tree into her again, The flesh on his side exploded in a burst of blood and gore. An electrical lance had fired from Mara's mouth, and had blasted through his side. The telekinetic horror, distracted, allowed the tree to fall as he tried to think of new ways to torture his foe for that injury. Yet Mara would deny him that. Tel was suddenly lifted off the ground, his own armor used against him due to the magnetic properties at work. The psychopath snarled as he was launched through the air... and splattered against a tree, fluids gushing out of Tel's mouth.
Determined not to let him get up, several electric orbs impacted the tree that Tel had been thrown against. The bark rent, Tel's armor cracked, and the menace cursed Mara's name as the tree cracked in half... and fell down to the ground, right ontop of where his form had slid off. With electricity gathering in her mouth, Mara prepared to fire a full strength Zap Cannon right where Tel lay stuck under the large tree...

Tel had no time to recover as the electrified blast struck him while he was pinned underneath the tree. Electrifying both him and the tree he lay imprisoned beneath. Tel growled angrily and in pain, the shocks managing to break through his weakened and mostly dead nerves, as he dug his talon-like gauntlets into the side of the tree and slowly pulled himself out from underneath of the tree, electricity lancing from his form and causing nearby trees to become engulfed in flames. With a roar of fury, Tel unleashed a powerful telekinetic blast, splitting the tree in two and sending its infernal halves hurtling towards Mara. The Kitsune's eyes widened as she managed to dodge one of the sections but was struck head-on by the other half, causing her to get pinned against the flaming object before it crashed into another tree, bowling it over and causing it to topple onto its side.
Mara groaned, parts of her fur singed from the heat of the tree, her shoulder and body bloodied and scuffed from the brutal impact. The forest seemed to have become engulfed in a sea of flames from all the electricity that had been sent flying. Tel emerged from the cloud of fire and ash, flames trailing off parts of his body, his whole body shrouded in a cloud of smoke. Mara snarled, her body crackling with electricity, but Tel would deny her an attack. A powerful invisible force gripped her and slammed her into one of the nearby trees, leaving a massive dent in the trunk, before scraping her across the floor and straight through some of the flames, causing her body to become immolated. Tel then lifted her into the air and slammed her face-first into the ground, sending ash-crusted dirt flying in all directions. Mara panted and attempted to rise, only to be flipped onto her back and restrained by Tel's mental powers. Tel's eye met with Mara's before the being's voice entered her mind once more.
"You think you understand me? You think you have endured the worst reality has to offer you? That your fate was more cruel than anything I could have endured?" Tel snarled, his voice full of rage and hatred. "Allow me to show you your folly!"
In his unending fury, Tel gripped the back of his mask, before he ripped it off of his face and tossed it aside, explosing Tel's hideously mangled face. The psychopath's jaw hung slacked before he unleashed an unnatural roar into the air.
"I lost my own identity!" Tel roared. "My own face, stolen from me! The ones I loved betrayed me, and condemned me to twenty long years of torture! I was left broken and helpless, my fate in the hands of malevolent beings! You are NOTHING. You have those you cared about, and betrayed out of your own weakness of will; mine betrayed ME, and left me to DIE!"
Tel roared as a powerful telekinetic strike slashed across Mara's shoulder, tearing through muscle down to the bone! Mara howled in pain, as Tel pushed her back, the flames surrounding them growing more intense every second. Tel snarled, his empty looking directly at Mara, as he suddenly lifted the infernal dirt and flung it at Mara like a sea of flames!

Mara howled as the flaming dirt hit her. The burns... everything hurt! But despite the pain, Tel had left his face open... a perfect weak point for her to strike! So despite the agony she was in, as well as her burning coat of fur, Mara struck fast and hard, leaping through the air at the deranged psychopath. sharpened claws bristling with electricity sliced into his face, barely missing his eyes as Tel's frail body was thrown onto its side from the hit. As he tried to get up, one of Mara's tails curled around his neck, before throwing him against a tree face-first, blood splattering along it.
Yes... make him suffer more. He does not deserve any fair treatment for what he has dome. Fuel your anger and power with his suffering! the voice in Mara's head whispered. And at this point, she saw no reason why not to comply. Tel's body was hammered even further into the tree as a barrage of energy orbs flew from Mara's tails, more bark and blood flying with each hit. Once the smoke cleared, there was a large gaping wound in Tel's back, where the armor had been blasted off and where blood and raw flesh and cybernetics could be seen. Deciding to target there, Mara lunged forward, ready to slice her claws into that new wound...

But Tel recovered surprisingly fast, and as Mara closed in for a fatal blow, Tel turned around and roared, delivering a psychokinetic blow that hit with the equivalent force that a man would feel getting struck by a truck. Mara's face was nearly pushed into her torso, her neck threatening to snap from the immense pressure and the muscles along her neck and shoulder ripped from the sudden and brutal force striking her. Mara couldn't even howl in pain as the blood vessels in her eyes visibly popped, leaving splotches of red visible in her normally white eyes. Mara was sent flying backwards from the force of the impact, her forehead split and her nostrils bleeding profusely, before she slid across the ground, temporarily incapacitated.
Mara lay limp, unmoving for a few moments, as Tel shambled over to her like a zombie, dragging his heavy blade behind him as he did so. Eyes bloodshot and filled with rage, Tel unleashed another roar of rage before he raised his sword up and swung it down towards the feeble form of the kitsune. Mara was suddenly awoken by a hideous surprise, as Tel's rusted blade bit into her side, tearing deep into her flesh thanks to its sheer weight and bladed edge. The kitsune howled in pain as the blade tore through both flesh and muscle. As Tel pulled the blade up, bits of flesh stuck to it and pools of blood dripping off its jagged edge, Mara unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning right into Tel's exposed face! The telekinetic cyborg, formally unreactive to even the most grievous of wounds, suddenly lurched backwards and grasped his face, letting out a low moan of both audible and visible pain.
Mara rolled to her feet, trying her best to ignore the numerous festering wounds on her body and the blood running into her eyes form her damaged face. She began to rush towards Tel with the intention of tackling him and ripping him to shreds, but she would be denied. Thrusting out one hand, Tel sent Mara flying backwards, a series of deep cuts sliced into her shoulder by the horror's telekinesis, still holding one side of his face with his gauntlets, Tel unleashed another roar as he uprooted a burning tree with his telekinesis and flung it hap-hazardly at Mara, hoping it would distract her long enough for him to recover form his surprising pain....

The tree was blasted apart by a jagged bolt of lightning, saving Mara from getting hit by it, though it failed to save her from the shards of bark and wood slicing into her from the blast. With her blood staining her once royally white coat, she glared at Tel, hatred and anger festering in her eyes. He had felt pain when hit in the face... so she would focus her attacks there!
She leapt to the side, just in time to dodge a telekinetic blast that turned the area she had been just a moment earlier to a dusty crater. As she landed, she dashed toward Tel, picking up speed as energy spheres formed along her tails and were hurled at the psychopath. Raising his rusty blade, Tel sliced several of them in half, causing them to explode prematurely infront of him... but two still managed to hit their target. Tel howled as the orbs detonated in his face, hurling him onto his back. Once more, he clutched it, unused to the pain he was feeling from it. This gave Mara the moment she needed, for she pounced upon the hurting monster. Claws ran deep into his exposed flesh, digging out miniature trenches, before Mara flipped him over. With one clawed paw raised, she sliced it down across Tel's face, fron the top of his head, down to the chin.
The moans of pain that came from him as he saw his own blood run down his face was music to Mara's ears.
Leaping off the cyborg, she prepared to launch a zap cannon, aimed right for Tel's wounded face...

The zap cannon hit its target dead on, sending volts of electricity straight into Tel's head. The psychopath unleashed a screech of pain as he grasped his skull, jaws hanging slack below his skull, electricity sparking across his body in violent jolts. Mara, in a battle rage, began to rush towards the recovering Tel. Pain... all the pain... it was nearly overwhelming to Tel. He could feel himself wheezing, distress filling his mind, as his pupils shrank with fear and confusion. One of the psychopath's glassy eyes locked on Mara's form, who was rushing towards him. She... SHE was the cause of this! She would die! No mercy! Tel's voice was audible, as his wheezes warped into hellish growls of fury. Before Mara could even approach him, her body suddenly exploded into a sea of gore! The muscles along her spine exploded, fur and meat being sent flying in all directions, as her shoulders and hips suddenly burst in a similar manner, overwhelming the Kitsune with pain and causing her to limply collapse to the ground.
Mara attempted to get up, but her limbs were too weak, and her mind was too overwhelmed with pain, her vision and mind groggy and fuzzy from shock. Suddenly, she felt herself get lifted off the ground, restrained in the air, and forced to stare at Tel from above. Mara snarled and struggled in his telekinetic grasp, when she felt a pain unimaginable! The flesh along her ribcage was suddenly ripped clean off of her body, exposing the rippling muscles beneath them before the flesh was cast aside into the roaring fires that surrounded them. Mara could barely keep herself conscious; her body was broken, torn, shredded nearly beyond repair. Would her son and Crigan accept her after this? Would she be able to best this psychotic monster and prove her loved ones proud?
Tel had no such precognitions. He lived only to kill and to destroy. To see his opponent in such pain immensely pleased him; to see her broken beyond repair was his only wish. But, he had a job to do, to usurp the crown of the UCA champion in the name of his master. As much as it would have pleased him to pull Mara inside out and leave her to suffocate on her own body, he had much more important things to do. As Mara struggled in vain against his invisible power, Mara was suddenly compressed violently. Her shrill screams of pain rung out in the forest as her body violently contorted inwards. Her head was pushed into her stomach, forcing her snout into her bloodied chest. Her forearms were pulled all the way beyond her rear andbehind her head, and her legs were pulled over her head and painfully forced into position behind her lower back. Tel squeezed tightly with his mind, tearing rips into Mara's body, as she was denied being able to even scream out in pain by her own body. A disturbing smile spreading across Tel's face, Tel ripped up a tree and formed it into a spear, fully prepared to impale Mara if the call is not made....

Suddenly, Mara was freed from Tel's telekinetic grip by the powers of the UCA.
"ATTENTION! CEASE COMBAT AT ONCE! THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH, AND NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR THE UCA CHAMPIONSHIP, IS TEL MEGIDDO! CONGRATULATIONS! NOW RETURN TO YOUR QUARTERS IMMEDIATELY!"
----------
Wow. Sorry for the delay in calling this, but I had to read through the entire match again to decide a winner because it was so close. Tel was just that little bit more brutal with his attacks, though, and that's what gave him the win.

Tel simply smiled as the ref called the match. He had succeeded. Match one had been completed in his favor. His master would be most pleased with this news. Tel turned to Mara, his jaw hanging slack beneath his face, as he used his telekinesis to bring his mask back to him and he replaced it onto his scarred and malformed visage.
"You should have accepted my offer. But it is of no importance now; you have been defeated." Tel mocked. "Return to your lover and your son. I'm sure they will be looking forward to seeing you... if they still live."
Tel's haunting laugh filled Mara's head as the cybernetic monstrosity disappeared from sight...

Mara couldn't even lift her head out of the pool of blood she lay in. She lost... again. Her head slipped, and she fell unconscious, just as she was taken away to be healed...
