Persephone was the first to arrive on the battlefield. The Hellian Queen had been tending to the stab wound given to her earlier... and it still stung. Granted, it would barely be a factor in the fight, but she hadn't had enough time to properly take care of it. That, and she was feeling good enough to actually fight. As she looked around at the savannah, raised an eyebrow. She knew she had signed up for this, as well as placing Mara up for another fight... but who would be her partner? And... what of her foes?

Another ray of light soon sliced its way down from the skies above, as a large, bulky shape could be seen forming within the light. Soon, the light died down, and from its remaining rays emerged the bulky, furry form of the champion of Gaia herself, Titernia. The ursine warrior flexed her lips, as she scanned her environment. A wonderous arena, filled with subtle, and tangible, life; she would be right at home in this place. Suddenly, however, her eyes caught a hideous sight- the hellish queen, Persephone! Her brow fell heavy, as she bared her fangs, her massive tusks ready for combat. The bulky brute's muscles tightened, as her gait became more savage.
"You! Devil from below!" Titernia snarled. "What brings you here? Do you seek punishment for your villainous ways?"
Titernia roared angrily, before she spoke again, not waiting for a reply form the woman. "It does not matter, however... there will be more to join us. We shall see if you and your wretched ally can best me and mine!"

Natalie had been called to the field of battle once more after a long period of hiatus. Lenneth looked new and pristine, largely in part due to lack of use. Once she had gotten settled in the cockpit and light from the teleport beacon faded, she found herself in a wide open expanse of grassland, already occupied by two other monsters. Before she could react, the AI began a data download, completely without her input.
"Updating IFF targeting parameters."
When the download was completed, the two other monsters were outlined, Titernia in red and Persephone in blue.
"Wait, I'm supposed to ally with the Demon Queen herself? What is this, some sort of ratings gambit?"
"It's not like I'm thrilled with the prospect either," Persephone responded.
"What? Oh, right, external speakers are on."
"Hmmph. You at least know how to use that thing?" she asked, motioning to Lenneth's sword.
"Yeah, I do. I don't need to know if you can fight. Just try not to wreck my mech. We are supposed to be working together after all."
"No promises."
Lenneth turned to face Titernia, unsure of who her other opponent was going to be, only knowing that this fight was going to be rough...for any number of reasons.

With a loud rumble, a new titan appeared. In place of the traditional, electronic beam of light, this new colossus appeared in the middle of a firestorm seemingly conjured in thin air. The column of flame was nearly twice the size of each of the fighters, towering like a mountain amidst the little group. When the roaring flames died down, the prone form of the Martial Master, Kitamura, could be seen. Her burly arms crossed and tail flopped lazily on the ground behind her as the last flames that had birthed her appearance here died down.
“Teamwork, hrrm?”
The Beast had a slight smirk.
“Well, they chose the right monster, at least. Heh.”
The Colossian black-belt’s greenish eyes scanned the area for a moment and narrowed, soon sweeping across her two foes. She then began to greet the fighters telepathically, with Lenneth first.
“Aaah... I knew we would meet again, lady. Although...” the grizzled warrior showed a small sign of regret, before continuing, “I had hoped I wouldn’t have to face you again. Woulda liked to fight at yer side at some point...”
She was happy to see Lenneth again, but moreso glad to see the machine pristine and fully repaired. She sincerely hoped the repairs were not too tedious.
The blue bear then turned her head towards Persephone.
“Hrmm... You must be Persephone. Isaarker told me a story about a poisoned tea. I hope ye feel better today, ‘cause I’d be disappointed in not seeing your fighting skills at their best for myself. Now then...”
The Guardian spun around to meet Titernia.
“Titernia, hrm? It’s an honor to meet ya.” Kitamura smashed a fist in an open palm, before she bowed – a respectful greeting. “I’d hug you, but Isaarker says I shouldn't.” Concluded the alien grizzly.
The plated, hulking brute stepped besides her new ally, an ursine just like herself, as if daring the two women in front of her to attack her while she was there. The being lowered her head and clenched her spiked fists just as they burst in flames while she assumed a combat stance, ready to fight...

"So you hears of the little stint that caused me to forfeit my last take at the championship." Persephone spat as the sound to fight rang off. "Well, then you are both in for a disappointment. I'm not holding back. Nothing is going to stop me and my partner here from dethroning the current championships this time. This time, things will go my wa-" She was halted as a large slab of earth spiraled up from the ground and nailed her square in the lower jaw. Persephone swore as she was flung onto her back, her lower jaw bruised from the hit. She could hear the chuckles from Titernia and Kitamura from that hit, and even Nataline was trying hard to suppress her snickering. Persephone rose up, and wiped her mouth. Blood... that had drawn blood from her...
"Okay... Now you are asking for it." Persephone growled, as several amulets formed in her hands. She hurled them, 4 at Titernia, and 4 at Kit. The earth titan was able to stop those from reaching her by raising up an earth wall that they exploded against, but Kit wasn't so lucky. The bear couldn't dodge the homing amulets, and they engulfed her in a series of explosions, causing the martial artist to stagger back. Forming her sword in hand, Persephone took the opportunity to lunge at Kit, trying to slice her blade through her armor and muscles... but even with the blade finding an unarmored area and digging in, it was like steel under the skin... her blade barely cut through, and only left a scratch, which irritated the Hellian Queen. How on earth was she supposed to damage something so solidly built? It was like trying to hack through a stone wall with a knife... but atleast there was blood to use. That was all she needed. Extending her will into the liquid, it froze as it was coming out of the would, causing internal damage to the arm where Kit had been sliced, and spreading through. Granted, the fact it was a fire-wielding bear meant the damage would be little, but atleast it would hopefully give her a better area to aim for... Pointing her blade at the warrior on the defensive, energy began flowing into the sword, as Persephone prepared to unleash a Master Spark right at Kit...

Her assault would be denied, however, as Titernia launched an attack from behind her. When the hellion queen was busy attacking her hulking ally, Titernia launched a massive ball of earth at Persephone, sending her flying to the side as the sphere collapsed, covering the queen in a several hundred thousand ton pile of dirt. The two ursine warrior glanced at each other briefly, looking each other in the eyes, before nodding to each other in acknowledgment. Titernia realized that, if they were to defeat these two foes, they would need to work together, and cover each other's backs when the time came. As Kitamura rushed to take on Persephone, Titernia was suddenly blasted across her broad shoulderblade with a beam form Lenneth's Zero Cannon, causing Ttiernia to tumble to the side and ice to form on the massive beast's shoulder. Titernia snarled angrily and glanced up to see Lenneth rapidly approaching, her sword in her hand.
A mech eh? Seemed like it was time to teach those wretched humans a lesson in pain.
With a flex of her muscles, the ice cracked, before Titernia hopped to her feet, the icy layer completely shattering. A ferocious roar escaped Titernia's jaws, before she rushed towards Lenneth like a bull, her massive forearms digging up heaps of grass and earth as she powered towards the metallic being before her. Much to Lenneth's surprise, however, Titernia did not simply try to ram head-first into her; rather, Titernia suddenly leaped up, and curled herself into a ball, as dirt and earth gathered around her form and solidified into a sphere of hard rock. Lenneth dug her heels into the ground to stop and brought her arms upwards to brace herself, but it wasn't enough; with the force of a kaiju-sized cannonball and 85,000 tons of pure muscle behind it, the ball smashed into Lenneth's arms, crushing armor plates and damaging her arm joints as she collapsed onto the floor from the impact. Titernia's rocky shell shattered upon impact, allowing Titernia to ricochet backwards form the impact, before she landed on her feet several hundred meters away, ruts of dirt left in her wake.
The mech willed up the strength to sit up, and had barely enough time to look up and be forced to roll to the side as Titernia came crashing down towards her, her massive claws pointed down to impale the mech upon impact. Titernia's claws became stuck in the ground from the force behind the landing, leading to the massive ursine creature to begin to violently tug on her claws, desperate to pull them out. seizing this opportunity, Lenneth got to her feet and prepared to bring her blade down upon Titernia's head, but Titernia was not completely helpless as Lenneth hoped. Titernia's brow tightened as a massive stone pillar shot out from the ground, slamming into Lenneth's exposed chest and sending her reeling head-over-heels backwards, her chest armor severely warped from the brutal impact. With one last violent tug, Titernia freed her massive claws, before she summoned forth twin towers of stone, and sent them spiraling down towards Lenneth's exposed chest, aiming to crush the machine into oblivion....

Natalie reacted quickly and hit the boosters, sliding backwards along the ground as the twin pillars slammed into the ground where her torso had been moments before. Titernia howled in fury as the black machine righted itself, all while Natalie drew her blade. She had faced Kit before, and wasn't exactly thrilled to be fighting something that kicked her can once. Titernia was another matter entirely. Analysis indicated that her colder weapons had limited effects, and suggested that penetrating attacks might face difficulty punching through the thick slabs of muscles that coated the beast. Meaning, the claymore was her best shot at achieving victory. As Ttiernia charged, preparing to bring the full might of her body to bear, Natalie hit the boosters and charged forward, as a laser charge was applied to the edge of her blade. As the two approached an imminent collision, Lenneth flickered, then faded from view, causing Titernia to pull up short in confusion, her keen sense of smell already at work trying to pinpoint the damned human tin can. Unfortunately, she didn't act quickly enough, as Lenneth had never stopped moving forward, as the mech decloaked shortly after she drew her blade across Titernia's chest.
A howl of pain and a spray of blood told Natalie that she had hit home as Lenneth rocketed into the sky, before rapidly reversing and crushing Titernia's skull into the dirt beneath her. But before she could try to drive her sword through Titernia's back, a well aimed blow to the head from Kit knocked her off balance. The bear-dragon, having momentarily broken off from fighting Persephone, seemed somewhat interested in picking up where the two of them had left off previously. Natalie could live with that, as a barrage of ice missiles erupted from Lenneth's legs and exploded across Kitamura's chest, leaving large patches of rapidly melting ice in their wake. Natalie remembered the need to bypass Kit's thick armor first, as she prepared to fire the Zero Cannon, aiming to cover up more of Kit in ice...

The ice spread across Kitamura's chest as though it wished to see her become a glacier. However, the bear's high body temperature prevented it from staying there any longer, as it quickly began to melt it. Persephone's sword soon hammered down on the momma bear's neck like a guillotine - although it did not plunge far, it was enough to carve a trench, the swing forbidden to go any deeper by the scarred grizzly's tough muscles. As Persephone attempted to retrieve her sword, Kitamura's paw shot up like a lightning bolt, stopping the movement cold by grabbing the hell queen's arm. Persy tried to free her limb with a series of tugs, but the Martial Master was too strong! Soon, the fire Beast pulled the demon up and swung her forward like a ball, sending the cartwheeling queen slamming into her own ally. Her knee met Lenneth's face just as Lenneth's own knee met Persy's, the partners' faces caving in from the impact. The two ladies toppled and tried to rise back, but their entangled limbs made it difficult at first, as the two had tried to move at the same time.
Persephone was the first to rise, and she charged the immobile bear like a train, her sword's tip aiming directly at her face. But the black-belted Beast acted fast - she lived up to most of the myths circulating about her combat skills, after all. She stepped out of the weapon's way and clenched her fist.
BANG! The Guardian's fist plunged into Persy's armored chest, caving the armor inwards. The plates broke and dug into the hell queen's chest, as blood began to flow from the wounds. But she was not out of the woods yet, because she was still quite literally hooked to Kit's hand, the appendage now surrounded in gore. Thankfully, nothing had reached her heart or lungs!
Kit was still on the attack, as she began to heat up Persephone's armor. Soon, its edges became a bright orange then white-hot; the queen was being roasted in her own armor like a mere veggie! While steam rose and pieces of melting armor fell off, burn marks began to appear on Persephone's body, as she howled in pain. Even the battle-hardened Kit felt bad as she heard the screams, the tender-hearted bruiser being aware of the pain her actions brought, but never quite able to shake off the feeling of regret that came with most of them.
Lifting up her fist and the demon attached to it, Kita launched Persy upwards, the queen falling back down towards the Beast's spiked back...

It was fortunate for Persephone that Kit had launched her quite a high ways up. That gave her plenty of time to think of a solution as she came barreling down. Her sword once more in hand, she pointed it back down at the waiting beast, and smirked. This was going to be FUN. Another Master Spark fired out, catching the waiting Beast by surprise. This had a triple effect for the Queen. Not only did it slow down her rate of descent, but also because of the slight angle she aimed, not directly at Hit's back but more at the head, it pushed her away from the spiky landing she would have received. At the same time, the bear's face was now engulfed in pure energy, and had been blasted onto her belly from the force of the beam. the patches of burnt flesh and muscle were just the icing on the cake as she landed on her feet, chuckling at the recovering bear. Talizan had already burnt away her armor before, and she wasn't going to let some alien spikeball-
"INCOMING!"
Persephone turned, just in time to receive 85,000 tons of machine crashing into her. The air was knocked out of the Queen's lungs as she was floored under Lenneth's weight, a large trench being gouged out from her sliding body. Once she finally stopped, she pushed Lenneth off of her. "That hurt like a mother-" Persephone had to cut herself off as she rolled out of the way of a rising earth spire. There, looking at both of them, was Titernia, a scowl on the earth controller's face. Persephone helped the machine up onto her feet, while at the same time, casually flicking several amulets at Titernia. The lord of the earth smirked. Was she really trying that again? Once more, an earth wall rose, causing the amulets to explode against it, cracking and breaking it down...
...just in time for a series of lasers to fire out of the dust and gridline around Titernia and the recovering Kitamura. Titernia glared at the small lasers, and smirked. As if these could stop her. She took a step forward, in order to try and gain momentum and charge right at the Hellian Queen and Lenneth, but that was a grave mistake. every muscle in Titernia's body seemed to lock into place as soon as she hit the laser, freezing her on the spot. Kitamura, by this point, was up, and realizing what was about to happen, placed both arms infront of her.
"GO ahead and block this. I doubt you'll take it so easily" Persephone smirked, as she launched two large orbs, one for Kit, and one for the paralyzed Titernia. With no room to dodge, it was basically a guaranteed blow. Titernia was blasted off her feet, the kaiju surprised by how strong the explosion was as parts of her flesh were blown off, and she was sent skidding across the floor. Kitamura, on the other hand, stood her ground as the explosion blasted into her, the resulting dust from the hits blanketing the area.
"So, where'd you get those amulets from?" Natalie asked Persephone as they waited for the dust to clear. "They don't seem very demonic to me, more like something you'd see from an exorcist."
"Well, that's because they sort of are... I got them from a friend of mine, who specializes in that sort of thi-" Persephone trailed off as the dust and flesh cleared away. Her jaw went slack. "You have got to be kidding me." Was all she could say in shock...
There, still standing tall, was Kitamura. Her arms were charred, and bits of them had been blown off from the explosion, but stood she did. The arms lowered, and Kit looked right back at the Hellian Queen and the robot, with a look on her face that practically screamed, "Well, that was a nice trick you had there,,, but I've seen better." Behind her by two hundred meters, Titernia was already recovering.
Persephone bit her lower lip. That should have been impossible. No one should have taken that so well... That bear should have been sent flying from the hit! Gripping her amulets in hand, the High Queen of Hell hurled several of them at Kit, while aiming a few at Titernia as well...

Titernia's upper lip flexed, her eyes narrowed like daggers, the warrior focusing her gaze upon the amulets that flew towards her and her ally like bullets. Did this demon think that she could actually harm her with those puny weapons? She was a fool then. Titernia spread her legs out, before he howled into the air, before a humongous wall, measuring several hundred meters tall, ripped up out of the savanna earth. The hellion queen's attacks struck the barrier, barely managing to blow chunks out of the absolutely humongous wall of earth, before the wall was suddenly launched forward like a Tsunami. Lenneth reacted quickly, and jetted herself up out of harm's way, but Persephone was not so lucky. As she attempted to avoid the attack by running and diving, the wall crashed into her, before burying her beneath a mountain of dirt and stones.
Titernia laughed at Persephone, and felt the ground to sense for Persephone's thrashing to break out of the mound. Titernia willed up her geokinesis to lift Persephone out of the mound inside a sphere of earth. As Titernia prepared to launch her up, she was suddenly blasted from the side by a series of lasers, which startled Titernia into dropping the sphere, freeing Persephone. The laser blasts left scorched patches of fur, succeeding in angering the beast. Who DARED fire upon her while her back was turned?! Quickly twirling around, Titernia saw small pods fly overhead as they returned to their mechanical master. The mech held her blade tightly in her hands, as she prepared for Whatever Titernia had in story for her. But the earthen beast had no intentions of engaging her directly. Rather, the mech could make her approach, twin slabs of stone ripped themselves up from deep beneath the ground, before they slammed hard together, crushing Lenneth in between them like a car compresser. However, Titernia's attention was distracted again when she heard the voice of the hellion queen from behind her.
"That was not so courteous of you," Persephone growled. "I should put you on a leash for that."
Titernia snarled, and dropped Lenneth, causing the stone slabs to disintegrate, giving the female mech time to recover. The champion of Gaia turned to face Persephone, who had her blade at the ready, her face and hair covered in mud and dirt. "I'd like you see your cowardly self try."
"That's no way to speak to the queen of hell!" Persephone replied, before she pointed her blade at Titernia, and fired off her Master Spark. Titernia, her eyes widening as the beam spiraled towards her, raised up a stone shield, barely managing to intercept the powerful red beam. Earth split, grass was burned, and trees exploded as the beam hit the stony shield, slowly but steadily burning away at the thick stone. Thankfully, the beam was only able to be maintained for a bit, for had it lasted any longer, the shield would have been destroyed. As the beam died down and Persephone recharged, Titernia dropped the earthen shield and rushed Persephone like a beast. Caught while she was recovering, Persephone had no time to react as Titernia engulfed one of her claws in hard stone and slammed her forearm full force across her face. The power behind the blow was horrifying; the stone shattered completely from the force of the impact, and caused Persephone to roll head over heels from it. As Persephone slowed to a stop and clutched her face in agony, the damage was revealed. Her face was viciously torn, a nasty, bloody wound leaving a massive gash across her cheek, exposing muscle and possibly even bone. The sheer power of the blow pulled her flesh open up to her eyebrow ridge and down to the base of her jaw, blood oozing like water from the wound.
"Your royal cowardice is no match for Gaia's unstoppable might!" Titernia roared. "It's time that you're put back in your place- the fell pit that your wretched parents birthed you from!"
Suddenly, Titernia pulled up a giant slab of stone, before chiseling it with her geokinetic powers into a massive spear. With a snarl, Titernia thrust the spear down, fully intent on killing Persephone...

But the stony spear never reached its destination, as twin beams of blinding light lanced into it from the side, courtesy of Lenneth's aptly named Breaker Cannons. The spear exploded mid-flight, pelting Persephone with rock fragments but otherwise leaving her unharmed. Titernia howled in rage and frustration, only to be nailed in the face by a second blast from the cannons. The Breaker Cannons tore shreds of flesh away from Titernia's face before dropping the behemoth where she stood, leaving Natalie a chance to tend to her partner.
"You all right?"
"Next time, aim more carefully. I think I have a small boulder in my eye."
"Hey, I just saved your hide. No need to be ungrateful."
"Whatever."
Natalie then turned her attention back to her opponents, and not a moment too soon, as a blazing fist from Kitamura shot towards her. Natalie only barely moved her mech out of the way as Kit shot past. She did, however, have time to grab the Shock Chain before lashing it out at Kit, the bladed tip digging in under her otherwise nigh-impenetrable exterior before delivering its payload into Kitamura. The bear-dragon bellowed as her insides were fried from the jolt she received as all her muscles (which she had a lot of) tensed and locked up, dropping the spiked kaiju to her knees. Natalie kept up the voltage until warning sirens started blaring. She didn't have time to react as another earthen spear, courtesy of Titernia, nailed her in the back and sent Lenneth sprawling.
"Dammit. Persephone, cover me, I'm going after the Kitamura."
"Who?"
"The...the spiky one."
"Fine, just make it snappy."
Natalie re-attached the Shock Chain before deploying a barrage of ice missiles at Kitamura, hoping that the rapid heating and cooling of her armor had weakened it some, before closing rapidly closing in before the ice had a chance to melt, sword drawn and laser charge primed...

"Dammit. Persephone, cover me, I'm going after the Kitamura." Heheheheh! Ursus Pyros Bellicosus Horribilis, aka the Kitamura, a race of giant, spiky, martial artsy, huggy, fire-wielding grizzlies!
The sword slammed into Kitamura's belly, carving through the first layer of armor and slicing into the scales. Its sheer momentum had already been considerably lessened by the tough armor, slowed down further by the scales, and stopped cold by the bear's abdominal musculature. A second strike, just as powerful, speared into the newly created gash. This time, a slow trickle of dark red blood oozed out of the wound and onto the blade, bringing the old warrior's gaze on it. Rather than being angered, though, the old one was impressed. The woman had bypassed her armor, something that took a number of attempts before. Normally, the protective Beast would have been able to dodge the attacks, but she outright let her opponent hurt her. The event brought a slight smile to the bear's face; it had something strangely prideful to it. It reminded her of Bergunth's training, when he put at work lessons he learned from his mentor, and when she voluntarily let herself be struck each time it happened. "Heheheh... Though the forest is thick, water finds a way through, hrrmm? Exploit yer enemy's weaknesses. Chinks in the armor... No one can stress how important that is in combat. Now then..."Kitamura's paw latched around the blade and pulled it out slowly. Smoke rose from the wound - a sign that the Martial Master's temperature was heating up to blaring temperatures, making contact with her dangerous... The weathered master of martial arts dug the bloodied blade at her side, before she stepped back. Her fists both clenched into twin blocks of muscle and armor plates, and she slammed both on the ground with all her might! WHAM!The earth gave way, shattering apart under the hit. The tremendous power of it alone tossed Lenneth and Persephone off their feet and onto their backs - Titernia, on the other hand, had anchored herself on the ground with her geokinesis to keep herself on her feet. It was a good thing that Kitamura let her know telepathically about her intentions beforehand. A large crater was born circling the Martial Master as though she was a meteor from space that had crashed. The indent in the ground was nearly four times the size of the blue bear in diameter -- her foes bounced a bit on the ground before collapsing completely. Rare were the times that she could use her monstrous strength to its full potential here in the UCA, as she could crush most monsters with her bearhugs alone. But when it was not directly attacking them, her strength was unbridled - free! Her slam on the earth had not only created a large crater, but also flung up boulders, which Titernia kept ahold of in the air with her earth-bending mind. The Guardian clenched her fists again, and, one by one, punched the rocks in the directions of her foes. Only Titernia's geokinesis prevented the rocks from shattering under the impacts. The boulders struck like rocky lightning bolts, hitting Persephone and Lenneth's knees. The later's armor crunched open, while the former's not only cracked, but caused disfigured plates to dig into Persy's knees. Blood welcomed the new wounds happily, but there was no time to act on it, as the grizzly from another planet was already onto her next move. The initial pain of the assault to her legs made Queen Persephone too slow to turn around as Kit stepped behind her and wrapped a pair of huge arms around her, lifting her off the ground in a titanic bearhug! The demon immediately started to struggle, but she was far from being the only one who had tried to escape one of the fiery bear's hugs - this bear was also considerably bigger than her, making it difficult to escape her grasp. Kit bent her fingers, her claws gripping Persephone's armor. With the help of her strength, the spiked one began to paw and claw away, practically prying the armor off and tearing into the flesh beneath! The assault continued until Persephone's front was bloodied and armor broken or bent, when Kit's own burly arms were covered in blood that was not her own. However, being pressed against Kit while her temperature was so high meant that her back had been affected too, as Persephone felt a terrible burning sensation in her back. Her armor resisted heat, but it had been heated to a point it could not withstand just like before. The demon grimaced in pain as she felt molten metal flow on her back. Kitamura soon let her on her feet, but the queen stumbled down for a moment, muttering in her ragged breaths that she hated bears. Just as soon as Persephone was back on her feet, she was sent tumbling to the side like a ragdoll. Behind her, the blackbelt had spun around, sending a hind paw slamming her side, nearly folding her in two. Her opponent's kidney had been the actual target; on the outside, an ugly bruise could be seen forming, but in the inside, the organ was swollen, visibly damaged by the kinetic force of a trained martial artist's precise strike. It sent surges of sharp pain throughout the queen's back, which was not only burnt by molten, rapidly cooling metal that entered the singed skin, but also extremely painful! Kita's paws soon planted themselves just besides the downed Persephone, ready to crush her into the ground and fold her so that the cooled metal would pierce her flesh...

If it weren't for the massive amount of blood spilt around her, Persephone would have been at the mercy of what was coming, but as it stood, she atleast had a way to get herself out of this particular mess. If the bear was going to mess with her armor, and try to melt it down like Talizan had previously, she was gonna be in for a rude awakening.
Before the bear's weight could come down on her, several spires of blood rose up, twisting and cracking into jagged bloody icicles that shot into Kit's body, piercing through the wounds that already were on the creature Kit, caught by surprise, was forced away as the spires of blood pushed her back, growing out of the blood pools. As this happened, Persephone managed to stand up, before flinching as her hand rubbed the bruise she had. "I really, really hate bears." She growled, before once more exerting her will over the icicles once more. Even as they melted from Kit's internal heat, their job wasn't over. More liquid rushed up into the punctured wounds, freezing as they began to slice and dig into the flesh of the warrior. Kit growled, before grabbing one of the melting icicle spears and throwing it back at Persephone.
A grunt in pain came from the Queen of Hell as the spear grazed her, slicing through her side and spilling out her blood. but what was even more surprising, was that the hit sent her spinning, requiring her to stabilize herself. She looked at Kit, her eyes widened with a new sense of awe and terror. Just how strong WAS this damn bear? This was getting retarded, even by her standards. No mere kaiju should be this powerful. She had her minions kill hundreds of them back during the Human-Demon war, and none of them were anywhere near this bad.
That was it. Now she had to pull out all the stops. "Yo Lenneth, mind disengaging the tortoise? I got something planned for both of them!"
Natalie pulled back to Persephone's side, and Titernia, now beside Kit, prepared to charge them... only to smash head first into a barrier. The earth guardian placed her hands on it, as did Kit, who tried punching through it, but only bounced back. Good... now there were both trapped. Persephone lifted her hands, muttering words even she really didn't understand. A second barrier formed around Kit and Titernia, and the first one began to glow. It was only then that both warriors realized what was about to happen...
the innermost barrier exploded, dust and rock and grass flying everywhere as it was contained within the second barrier. There was no sound, no wind from it, just a pleasant breeze blowing across the savannah. The barrier had contained it all, and now, it collapsed once all the energy had been absorbed, the dust cloud and bits of earth billowing out. "Well, I must say that is sort of impressive." Natalie said.
Persephone kept a hand on her bruise. "Yeah, now they know how I feel... And it's only going to get worse." Persephone spat as she pointe forward. Blood on the savannah grass, and that caused by the detonation, rose up above the now revealed crater in the earth, twisted into more bloody icicle spears, and rained down upon the forms of Kitamura and Titernia...
