Five massive slabs of concrete stood like monoliths in a secluded area of the Hub. Each one stood at least two hundred meters high. Almost as thick as they were high. In front of them, stood an armor clad figure. Seemingly a monument to metal. Juggernauts freestanding head rose to look at each one. Behind him, Seeker stood tall. Cape fluttering in a nonexistent breeze. In a rather unsettling display, Juggernauts head swiveled around to face his ancient partner. Seeker gave a single nod in return.
In a flash, Juggernauts head whipped to it's original position, as his arm rose to the farthest slab. In an eruption of fire and smoke, a hail of rounds shot out of his Railgun, to a casual observer, the slab of concrete seemed to disintegrate into a cloud of smoke and slivers of shrapnel. Said slivers impacted into Juggernauts armor without incident. Some shrapnel flew into Juggernauts eyesockets, only to be instantly incinerated by the high density energy.
This process was repeatedly followed through with three other slabs. Until one remained. Juggernaut turned to it with careful precision. He raised his cannon, steadying the cannon with his other hand. A clicking and whirring was heard, as the various internal and external gears flexed and turned. There was a moment of silence. Then a loud sound that was almost like a punch. A massive round erupted from the barrel, the shot slammed into the slab at lightning speed. A massive explosion of shrapnel and fire ripped out of the center of the slab. Before the smoke had fully cleared, Juggernaut strode forward, swinging out his sword to full length. He swing his sword twice, each pass cutting through the concrete with ease. Two slabs slid off of each edge of the monolith, Juggernaut stepped back from the remains of the slabs, and observed his work.
Shattered and burned concrete lay everywhere, smoke was slowly dispersing through the area, carried away by unseen vents of the UCA. Juggernaut was covered in a light patina of dust. Where He had stood were pebble sized chunks of shrapnel. Failed attempts to penetrate Juggernauts armor. Seeker strode forward, and clasped the joint between Juggernauts shoulder and head. "You've done well. My specifications were followed." Juggernauts expressionless face turned to look at Seeker. "What was this for, Ancient?" Seeker stepped forward and looked at the barely standing concrete slab. "A demonstration. To the powers that be. Frivolous as it sounds." Without another word, Seeker extended his arm as his longsword materialized in his hand. In another , more concrete fell to the ground like solid rain. Seeker turned back to his mechanical companion, and motioned for him to follow. "A demonstration... " The Ancient muttered, almost to himself...
(Yes yes destruction porn I know. But I needed to write something for Juggernauts introduction and this seemed appropriate. Also, this is an open thread. Have at it.)

((Hey, destroying stuff is fun!))
Thunderous footsteps were heard soon after silence fell following Seeker's words. The walking monolith that was Dusmus came into view, slowly dragging his weight closer to Juggernaut. He had seen the demonstration, and his interest had been peaked - especially when he saw the machine's resilience. Just like himself, this mechanical warrior was extremely tough!
Dusmus grumbled and stayed where he was, merely wishing to observe Juggernaut further...

Juggernaut looked at Seeker. Almost in confusion as Dusmus moved closer. Seeker looked to him and said. "It seems more interested in you than it is in me. If it wants to destroy more objects I have more on the way."
If it was possible for a mech without facial expressions to look panicked, Juggernaut certainly did. His head swiveled around to face Dusmus. "Can you communicate verbally?" Juggernaut said. He never was a poet.

Though he understood perfectly well what Juggernaut said, Dusmus could not answer as well as he hoped. His tusked jaws only emitted an incoherent grumble - one that sounded as graceful as a growling stomach.

Juggernaut was saved from more conversation, something He viewed as terrifying. By the arrival of seeker, bearing destructable gifts. Another five columns of concrete arrived in the room, borne on palls of Aegis energy. Followed by the armored form of Seeker himself. His plated head turned to Dusmus as the concrete monoliths set themselves where the first five were.
"If you are so inclined to, friend, show your skills on these."

Dusmus dragged his weight towards the first mineral monolith. His head reared back, and the spikes lining his trademark knife raised. In one downwards motion, the structure was cleaved nearly completely in half. The navy blue alien shook his head to free it, before he muscled over to the second monolith. This time, he had his shoulder cannons do the job. Trios of blue missile-like projectiles burst from the guns. They detonated against the stone, sending pebbles of it flying like a fountain. Dusmus stayed where he was to take care of the third pillar. He extended his arm and pointed his weaponized digits, then fired. With loud detonations, the gunslinging brute carved series of deep holes, before the bullets detonated, causing even more destruction. The walking mountain then lumbered towards the fourth monolith, which he toppled with a swing of his tail, tipped with a metallic, spiked mace. For the fifth - and last - one, Dusmus opted to work a little differently: he walked directly through it! The structure collapsed around him, showering him with falling rock as he showed why he was said to carve through enemy lines "like a knife through butter".
((Aww, my little Dussy is already making friends. :3))

"Owz! Dey's a nec show uv strength ya got dar." A new voice called down from below the giants. They turned, and saw that it was a woman, with green eyes and crimson hair that reached down to the shoulders. She wasn't very tall, only halfway over 5ft, and wore a long pair of jeans and a green t-shirt that matched her eyes. She leapt up and down, her eyes wide at the sight she had witnessed. "De scuppernong ne'er stood a kanc! Lawd Shinki bless yer both, I waz goophered 'en flemmox'd seeden det."

Seeker looked down in surprise at the newcomer, "Thank you miss, I'm sorry, what was your name?"

In contrast with Seeker, Dusmus - though very much capable of understanding speech - had not understood a single word of what the woman said. Only by judging by her tone and Seeker's answer was he able to tell that it was a compliment. As a "thank you", Dusmus uttered another groan as gracious as his underdevelopped vocal chords would allow.

The girl twisted from Dusmus to Seeker, and back again, her smile growing ever wider. She grinned, before leaping into the air. She came back down on one hand, before lifting herself off with one finger, her back and legs held straight upward in complete balance, an act most normal people would be hard pressed to do. "Nae's Charybdis." The girl shouted, leaping from one finger to the other, before walking on her fingers toward the rubble of one of the monoliths. "I just obsaved yah bein' streng and ahsom. Mahn if I trah eh few scuppernong? Ah wahn de trah mehself!"

Seeker shrugged his armored form. More aegis energy filled the area, this time bringing more concrete. Two of them were like the ones seen previously. The other three were half the size. Seeker turned back to the green haired woman. "Have at it, small one."

Charybdis smiled as she leapt onto her feet. She placed a hand on one of the larger pillars. Rough, durable, and strong. Good. This would suffice for her. "Yar mite wanna step bek sem. Des culd hert." She warned. She closed her eyes as both Dusmus and Seeker backed up. She ran her hand down the monolith, until she stopped. She slowly raised her hand up, her breathing slowing as she concentrated. For a few moments, there was only silence...
Then, she swung.
It all happened like a blur. Her nails dug into the monolith like it was butter. She haulted her hand, gripping a particularly hard part inside the structure, before tightening it. cracks began to spike their way up the monolith, chunks of it falling apart, yet somehow, it stayed together overall.
And then, she turned around, and with one hand, hurled the 200 meter structure into the others. They were bowled over and wrecked as the thrown monolith shattered them and itself from the hit. dust and concrete rained down as Charybdis admired her handiwork. For all but a few seconds, one could see that the nails had transformed into sharp dagger-like claws, but as she turned back to face Dusmus and Seeker, the claws shrunk and dulled back down into normal nails. "Whel, det's wut I cen do." She said, her crimson hair covered in dust before she shook it off...

Seeker looked at the aftermath of Charybdis's turn at the concrete with interest. "Well done small one. I for one apologize for bringing these smaller targets." As he said this, he raised his arm and pointed it at one of the smaller structures. Like a coiled snake, Aegis energy leapt from his arm and flew like a stream of focused magenta fire at the small monolith. The energy blackened the concrete, before blasting it apart with pure force. He repeated this process twice with the final monoliths, before he turned to the assembled characters.
"I apologize for cutting this gathering short, but Juggernaut and I have business to attend to. It was quite interesting to meet some more patrons of this place." With that, he motioned to his armored companion, and he and Juggernaut left the area back to their quarters. Cloak flapping in the breeze.

With the robots having left, Charybdis's cheeks puffed out and she balled her fists. "Naw Fer! I awly jast got heah!" She complained. Folding her hands up against her chest, she decided that might as well have been her cue to leave. As she turned to depart, she looked back up at Dusmus, and let a small smile escape her face. A large, powerful warrior,,, just like her. No need for armor or any of that crap, just pure muscle. With that, she left, leaving the titan behind... She might as well head off to see what else this place brought with it...
