"Yes, we must stop this madness before it spirals out of control." Crigan agreed with Auroros. He knew only too well what would happen if such evil were to join forces... and with Persephone here as well, if she found out, she would only be all too willing to forge such an alliance, even if it were tampering with forces beyond her control, like now. "We cannot allow this to breed and spread through the UCA. There are already enough evil being here... and an alliance would spell certain doom. We must all join forces if we are to contain this."
Meanwhile, Charybdis was now deep in conflict with herself. Was Shinki really in the right for pulling such a hasty decision? This could have horrible ramifications if things did spiral out of control... She had been told, and assured, that no one was crazy or suicidal enough to dare forge an alliance with the Maluvor, and would instead perceive them as a threat, and hopefully destroy each other... but now, she wasn't so sure of that... in the end, perhaps, but if they DID forge an alliance... She would have to make sure that never happened... that was why she was here, to ensure they didn't do such a thing...
"So... if we are to stop these Maluvor, then we must be able to track them down, and we can't do that if we don't know where they are... or in what form they have taken. Who knows where they are... or what they are."

They are darkness. All eyes turned towards Quetzar, whose head was reared high and held his wings wide open. The Sun Warrior spoke with fire in his eyes and throat, sparks raining from his nostrils like molten tears. We are light. If the time comes for war, you can all count on my light at your side. The day will break this falling night one way or the other, so it is our duty to do all that we can in order to advance the coming of dawn.
His eyes lingered on Charybdis. Even if it goes against our other priorities.
--
Fenris watched the Sun Warrior with disgust as he addressed the other heroes. The great wolf spat. Heroes... they always, always found each other, didn't they? It sickened her. Order was bad enough on its own, but when it fell between warriors of the dawn? That only meant trouble.
As the chimeric hound glared and snarled, a golden particle of light drifted before her gaze.
The wolf reared back with a start. She was startled at first, then confused as more hovered into her vision. But as more and more of the glowing orbs passing before her massive head, the demon cracked a hideous smile. She knew these lights. These were the same lights that had changed the Sun Warrior! The mad monster cackled. So she was to change as well. How unexpected!
As pain started to well in the wolf's belly, Fenris, with nary but a bark of goodbye to Zekshi, passed back into her own personal world. When she next emerged, she would be changed.
And she wanted every one of the heroes and villains that were now drifting together to be surprised when they saw the new Bitch Queen of the UCA...

Watching from above, Salavance narrowed his eyes at Quetzar, then over at Auroros. Both were succulent... lights in the darkness... succulent flesh... Easy prey for him in this setting. But then, his eyes drifted over to Crigan, and they narrowed. He would be for later.... His forked tongue flickering in and out, the reptilian menace positioned himself, waiting for the right moment to strike... who would be his victim...
He felt it. A disturbance nearby, yet at the same time, far away. The creature lifted his head. It wasn't in this plane of existence... but it was similar to what had happened to Quetzar... He would investigate it later... but for now... he was HUNGRY.... HUNGRY FOR THE LIGHT...

All Zekshi could do was shake his head, one eyebrow raised. This talk of 'light' and 'darkness' and 'the coming of the dawn' was laughable at best. He couldn't believe that such renowned warriors could be so incredibly naive. But where they may have lacked in mind, they more than made up for in strength. Together, these collective beings could prove to be a very real threat. Perhaps it wouldn't be such a bad idea to follow the 'advice' of the guardians. Perhaps allies were just what he needed.
--
Hidden from all, it watched the many creatures below. Its claws clung to the metal of the roof like magnets, anchored through mysterious means. Its lips drew back to reveal rotten gums and an array of needle-like fangs. It hadn't earned enough of a meal from the kaiju, Gorelzon. The allosaur had fled too soon to be little more than a snack to the abomination. Now it had found a place filled with potential meals; brilliant minds ripe for the picking. Perhaps it didn't notice Salavance. Quite possibly it simply didn't care. Only one thing was certain.
Predators had began to gather.

Auroros could sense it... a lurking evil beyond the realm the heroes lurked in. A great darkness lurked in the shadows, waiting for its moment to strike... and a familiar feeling welled up in Auroros' chest... yes, he recognized that presence. It was the abomination itself. The original creature that he sought to destroy.
Crydmarr was nearby. And now, with more help, perhaps they could finally destroy it.
But Auroros had larger fish to fry... the fear-beast had caused surprisingly little trouble for now. He would leave it be until this more direct threat was dealt with.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Auroros said, as he spread his wings. "Let us go and destroy their summoner while they are still weak."
Before Auroros turned to leave, he spoke mentally to Quetzar. I am sorry to disrupt your return to us with such grave news, brother, but I trust you as mine own kin... I hope you understand.
He then spoke to Crigan, his voice stern but respectful towards him. I understand your pain... I too have felt it... but now is not the time to feel pain. Now if the time for action. Come with me, Crigan; we can fix this problem before it falls unto chaos.

Yes... we can stop this here, and now. Crush it at the roots, and weed out the coward who holds the mask... and I might just know where to look for it. Crigan mentally spoke to Auroros. With that, the message shifted over to Diamen and Charybdis. You two stay here and keep an eye on things. If they are indeed hiding, let me know at once. Do not try to engage them until I am there... and most of all, keep this place safe. I wish you the best of luck... and may the Old Ones have favor upon you. With that, the ancient god took to the skies, his form shifting into his more monstrous being, as he set off at once, his claw like wings beating as he set off for the scent of the person he knew had been there to help Selstar... if he couldn't do that, then he would just have to pay a certain Archangel a visit...
Salavance watched as Crigan set off prematurely. Fool... he had left. Now he could have this group to himse-
A noise entered into his mind. "Salavance, I need you back here at the mansion at once. It seems our guests have shown up earlier than anticipated." Yuuka's voice rung in his mind. The reptile hissed, and looke ddown at the group.. but they were RIGHT THERE for the slaughter... but if the matter was urgent... Shaking his head in distaste, the creature's body dissolved into Dark Energy, which then headed back off toward Mugenkan...

Quetzar blinked at Auroros's words. The sincerity behind them surprised him, making his eyes widen slightly. Catching the Sun Warrior off guard with venom was impossible, but it seemed kindness could still disarm him. T-thank you, my friend... Though the bird was leaving alongside the death god, he could still hear the serpent speak as if it were right next to his ear. It was startled and unsure, but pleased beyond expressing in any other way. It... it has been a long time since I was part of a family. My flames are at your disposal always.
Now addressing all those in his presence, Quetzar continued. I am glad that you have all gathered here.... whether in concern for my well being or the good of the world as a whole... but I am afraid that I must retire now. This... change that overtook me... has left me weary and in need of rest. I am off... but do not hesitate... any of you... to rouse me if the need arises.
The Sun Warrior whipped his wings open, battering the monsters and creatures around him with warm air. Goodbye for now.
As the solar wyrm rose into the air and began winging away, his sails angled towards his quarters, he failed to notice a dark shadow moving across the ground below him. Not his own outline, but the flattened shape of a wolf 'swimming' through the earth. And if one were listening closely, they could hear the faint echoes of a dark laughter ringing from the grinning shadow...
