Away from where Auroros and Quetzar were, a solitary figure was now stalking the halls of the UCA. A long forked tongue flickered in and out as Salavance swayed his body back and forth, much like an oversized monitor lizard. Yuuka had called him for assistance... but she didn't seem THAT urgent, now that he thought of it. He could take his sweet time. After all, what was time to an ageless creature like him? He had seen kingdoms come and fall, entire races go extinct, and new ones take their place. The sands of time were nothing to him...
He lifted his head up. Something was here... something... dangerous, even to him. But what it was... and where it was, he had no idea... just that it was NEAR...

And near it was.
Crydmarr stalked across the ceiling, completely undetectable to all. When Salavance had left the gathering, the beast had followed the sudden movement of dark mass. Now its prey had slowed. Now it could draw near. Now, at any time, it could strike. They were two of the most dangerous beings in all the UCA. *But whether or not other primal forces of destruction would gather in what would certainly be a blood bath would have to be seen.
---------------
Following Salavance and, in turn, the unseen presence of Crydmarr, Zekshi paused in the folds of the astral plane to admire the powerful lizard-like beast. This was certainly a beats to be feared, a monster nike few in comparison. But something else caught Zekshi's attention. In the dimension of the "spirit world", it was all too easy to see, feel, and hear the souls of those in the UCA. And one of those souls in particular was experiencing unimaginable agony. Zekshi could almost hear the screams.
And then, he caught it. The faintest hint of nether.
It wasn't hard for Zekshi to make the connection. Torture and nether. Evidently Garduk hadn't kept Ranukada on as tight a leash as he would have liked.
With an exasperated sigh, Zekshi swept through the astral plane towards the source of the pained soul. She was going to blow what little cover they had, wandering the UCA of her own free will.
(*: And yes, that's a challenge, people. Step righ' up! Test yarr strength!)

A loud, shrill squawk interrupted the pondering of both darkness and fear. Bounding through the halls like a scaly green ball of energy, Plume crashed to the ground in front of Salavance. The Hub was rattled by the collision of flesh on metal. Plume peered down with wide orange eyes. The sailed reptile chirp curiously and cocked his head. He lowered his skull closer to the golden creature and sniffed. In a place filled with so many weird and otherworldly creatures, it was unusually for Plume to see another lizard, even one so heavily removed from the base creature. Still, it was recognizable as a monitor despite its winged limbs and pronged tails, so it had Plume's attention.
Clicking his jaws, Plume watched the other lizard, noting its shiny red eyes and flickering tongue. Was it intelligent? Straightening up, Plume let out a few short barks of greeting and waited to see if the shimmering reptile would answer and how...

Before Salavance could respond, He and Plume noticed a slight pressure building in their heads, almost as if a slight bulging were taking place, the pressure grew to a slightly uncomfortable level as a massive creature entered the hallway. The eyeless heads of Volstellio were swaying from side to side, totally ignoring the lizards looking at it quizzically. Volstellio could pick out each of their thoughts, and not knowing if either of them had an interchangeable language, simply sent Salavance and Plume some base emotions and experiences to see how they would react.

Salavance was not amused... not by either of these creatures.
On the one hand, was a base lizard. A creature with no knowledge, no will, no desire for greatness. Only to serve and be loved by HUMANS... And on the other, a machine, the very creation of their hands... The reptile let out a snarl, his wings spread, and the tails snapped and crackled as he prepared to go on the offensive. They wre mockeries, mockeries of darkness, mockeries of monsters... and he would show them their place...

In an instant all of Volstellios heads whipped around to face Salavance. The malice radiating off of him plain, this creature had the nerve to be angry at something it had just met? Volstellio let out a four part screeching warning.

Plume sprung back on legs folded like a grasshopper's as he witnessed the hostility of both creatures. The great reptile cooed and furrowed his brow, obscuring his large orange eyes. So they weren't friends? The sail of the huge lizard sagged against his body and his bright emerald scales dulled, taking on a dark tone of disappointment. The intelligent monster banged its tail against the floor in frustration and let out a few breathy puffs of air, pouts, that might be mislabeled as hisses by suspicious ears...

With the wings of the ancient monster spread out to full, Salavance narrowed his eyes at Volstellio. He, dare to warn HIM of what to and what not to do? He didn't take orders from trash!
...Dark Energy began to radiate out from his body as the dragon slowly flapped his wings. it spread around, like powder from a butterfly, until it had passed around both Plume and the hydra... then, Salavance clasped his jaws shut. Like a spark amongst gunpowder, the Dark Energy ignited, and both monsters found themselves amongst a sea of explosions that rocked and threw them around. Salavance hissed in delight as he watched both the human loving lizard and the hydra get thrown off their feet, their hides scorched and burnt from the dangerous power that was Dark Energy...

Plume yelped as his scaly skin was scorched by dozens of fireballs that sent him tumbled backwards, his flailing form plunging through the churning chaos that was the smoke wafting from both him and Volstellio. The lizard's training was not lost on him though, because, even as he hurtled through the polluted air and flames, he launched a counterattack. Slamming his monstrous tail against the ground and flinging himself back to his feet, the lizard responded to the golden dragon's aggression with a blast of firepower of his own.
Or rather... of Salavance's.
Eyes and jaws swirling with the same wicked energy that had radiated from Salavance just moments earlier, the lawful defender of man blasted the varanid horror with a ray of Dark Energy! Fire and smoke exploded out from Salavance's shoulder as his glittering metallic scales were pelted with unstable darkness. As the black beam sputtered out and the eruption of flesh and fire at the other reptile's collar subsided, Plume pounced back, behind the smoke that still cluttered the air, and took a tentative kneel, his glowing eyes watching Salavance carefully.
The basilisk would not actively engage the golden menace in the Hub, too disciplined by the rules of high powers for that, but he would not hesitate to return any blows that the rogue beast made against him.

Volstellio let out multiple screeches of pain as it rose. Scales flaking off of it's body in patches. The Hydra turned it's blind heads once more to Salavance, only nothing happened at first. No rays of light, no explosions, but then Salavance dropped to his knees. The existing pressure in his head was building to painful levels. The golden lizard sank to the ground clutching his head with his talons. As the mental assault ended, one of Volstellios heads turned to Plume, almost daring the mimic to attack it.

A deafening bang startled the three beasts. Volstellio caught a glimpse of a black orb rushing up to meet him. Stabbing pain in his gut. The world seemed to summersault as he lifted off the ground. He hit soft flesh and the shrill cry of Plume pierced his ears. The two monsters tumbled through the doors of a nearby living quarter.
Salavance rose to his feet, and an enraged hiss escaped the beast as he noticed that the battle had changed moved elsewhere. The monitor dashed across the floor and into the room, following a trail of blood.
He failed to notice the abomination behind him.
A second bang caused Salavance to stop abrupt. A black orb whistled over his head and into the back of the room. The projectile began to instantly chewed a hole into the teleportation pad. Flashing emergency lights filled the living quarters. The teleporter threw sparks across the room. As Crydmarr stalked into the room, the disembodied voice of a computer struggled to be heard over the chaos.
<<Four seconds until emergency evacuation.>>
The golden dragon hissed as he saw the approaching abomination, and a growing feeling of dread plagued his gut. The sudden realization of what he was feeling provoked the dragon into letting loose a fearsome snarl. Did this thing think he was afraid?
<<Three>>
Plume coo'd in nervous concern as the countdown continued. Evacuation? To where?
<<Two>>
Multiple screeches from an enraged Volstellio caught the attention of Crydmarr's blank eyes. Its blind heads could no see the horrid thing, but its presence was obvious to the psychic being. It began to focus an attack.
<<One>>
A screech in return from Crydmarr. It pounced!
A flash of blinding light.
<<Emergency evacuation complete>>
The room was empty.

(OCC: And now the big question. Where shall we fight? I'm personally fine with anything other than the Savanna.)

(Mountain wouldn't be all that fair to Plume. He's the only one that can't fly or levitate. Both Gira and I would like to battle in the Volcanic area though. How 'bout it?)
