Name: Charybdis (Alias: Servant of the Dragon Palace, Goddess of the Oceans
Height: 300 meters
Length: 700 meters
Weight: 970,000 tons
Wingspan: 400 meters
Quote: *Insert primal roar here.*
Description: Charybdis normally appears like any ordinary person, but when in contact with water, or when she lets her emotions get the best of her, she transforms into a primordial force of nature. Her lower half twists into a motley brown shark-like tail and lower body, with large serrated claws extending from her pectoral fins, and several serrated spikes extending down her tail. Her upper half, is far more monstrous. Her body becomes a scaly, hideous abomination, housing large muscular arms that end in talons 30 meters long. From her back, there are giant wings generated from the very plasma she wields, colored crimson red from her own blood. And her face is elongated and draconic, with two massive bull horns twisting from the top of her head, and gaboon viper-esque fangs extending from her mouth.
Personality: When she is in this form, reason at first seems all but lost to her, since she is in the depths of her own fury and anger. However, there are subtle hints that suggest she is still in control of herself, as she avoids unneeded casualties, and only attacks when provoked. When in combat, however, she is relentless and terrifying, earning her the sole “Category S” spot in the Holy Knights feared list.
History: Long ago, Charybdis was but an ordinary mermaid, who served the Ocean Goddess Tempera in the Dragons Palace deep beneath the sea. She and her family were the chosen servants of the Goddess, and helped to maintain peace and prosperity through the oceanic realm. This was shattered when the Ocean Goddess went missing one day. This caused the oceans to erupt into turmoil, oceanic life slaying one another mindlessly without their master overseeing them. Charybdis, against her own wishes, was chosen, as the most faithful and hard working servant, to be the new Empress of the Dragons Palace. Given a special formula reserved only for those worthy, she was unable to bear the power the drink gave to her, and was twisted out of her normal mermaid form into a horrible, ugly monster. Desperate to find a cure, she was approached by Persephone, who offered to give her a solution if she swore loyalty to her and became part of her Elite Guard. With no better choice, she accepted, and now, works both as the Empress of the Dragons Palace, and as part of Persephone’s Elite Guard, hoping that her future actions will lead toward a permanent cure, and an end to her nightmare…
Attacks:
-Hydro Beam: By either swallowing up water, or eating massive chunks of ice, Charybdis can fire off a concentrated, high pressured beam of frozen water at her foes. This can blow even large kaiju off their feet, and slice into their flesh with the ice shards within the beam.
-Razor Claws and brute strength: With claws able to slice through even the hardest hide, ontop of strength unknown since Orsa, Charybdis is a physical juggernaut that knows few equals. One slap of her tail can throw a Godzilla-sized for hundreds of meters, and her claws can disembowel most foes. She can lift her own weight with ease.
-Plasma manipulation: Her most nightmarish power, Charybdis’s control over Plasma is the stuff of nightmares for the Holy Knights. The aspects of this include…
1. Plasma Beam: She can fire a beam of ionized gases at her foes, which she can control the trajectory and speed of so long as she can see her foes. These gasses explode violently upon contact with the foe, blasting holes into them… or THROUGH them as many an Enforcer pilot found out the hard way
2. Plasma Blast: Instead of firing the beam at her foe, she can fire it at the ground, which detonates into a massive explosion that sends all nearby flying.
3. Plasma Wings: Her very wings are created from plasma energy, though these are only for show... she cannot fly with them, but can use them to blow down foes.
4. Ionized Field: Channeling plasma through her claws, she can smash them against the ground, generating an AOE Plasma field that ruins electronics, and fries the very blood in creatures.
5. Ion Cutters: Forming circular slicing blades within her hands, Chayrbdis can hurl these at her foes, which lock onto them. They can cut through almost any hide or armor, and cauterize the wound.
Powers:
- Storm Manipulation: Due to the formula she was given, Charybdis can also manipulate storms. Her storm manipulation is mostly seen in there being a hypercane wherever she is present, though she can also control various aspects of these storms to assail her foes.
-Telekinetic Speech: With her vocal cords having gone beyond normal speech, she can only talk via telepathy, unless she is in her human form, or in her giant mermaid illusion.
-Illusion: A gift from Persephone, Charybdis can make an illusion of herself as a normal, yet still giant mermaid. This illusion of her can talk normal, but still houses the same powers that she does. The illusion fades away to the real thing if it gets hit, or whenever Charybdis wants it to be gone.
-Transformation: When she hasn’t been in the water for a period of time, Charybdis returns her to human form… but getting her angry, or getting her wet, will cause her to revert back to her monstrous form.
Weakness: Charybdis cannot tolerate poison very well, and on land, she is quite sluggish, unless she can take to the water.
