A gentle, frigid breeze was blowing over the Arctic sector. The sun was shining down on a large ice lake in its core, one that seemed to spread for miles. A lone island, covered in frost and ice, but solid underneath, stood there, a remnant of what had once been an extension of the land, now worn away by the endless ice and water. it was a pristine, almost perfect scene...
But now, it was to become a battlefield... or more precisely, the judgement, of a foolish and arrogant drake.
A light was beamed down from the heavens, and at once, everything changed. Dark storm clouds brewed up ahead, and the wind began to pick up. It was slow at first, but then it grew faster, and faster, until it exploded into a hypercane. Frozen rain splattered down from above, pelting the icy surface of the lake with deadly projectiles. visibility plummeted within the hypercane, and yet, all of the UCA's cameras that were trained and watching could see everything clearly. The cause of the storm was nowhere to be seen.... and yet, her presence was felt. Would the challenger live to his boastful claims? Or would he be revealed to be nothing more than a boastful newt?

Like the mighty spear of Zeus blasting the subzero wasteland in anger, a beam of light fell upon the tundra and the daunting shadow of Kedos appeared. The sneering sea dragon looked like a towering black obelisk against the streams of snow and ice that were whipped through the air by the savage storm hanging overhead. The great drake moved his dead eyes, white as the snowbanks around him, across the pale landscape and- seeing no sign of Charybdis- crossed his arms with a smug, echoing chortle that wavering through the sky like thunder. "Hiding already, are we?" boomed the Demon of the Deep. "Disappointing, but not unexpected. Tell me, wretch, are you simply wise enough not to face a proven killer of sea gods or is your cowardice as expansive as your girth?"

Silence was what greeted the mighty Kedos's words... or rather, the silence of actual words. The wind still howled, the ice still groaned, and a large ominous shape rose up underneath him from the ice... but there were no words or vocal sounds.
That was the case, until the ice exploded outward. Kedos was hurled through the air as the monstrous form of Charybdis lunged up from the depths, her titanic form crashing back down onto the ice as she braced herself. Kedos didn't even get a chance to touch the ground, for the giant sea monster was already upon him, sliding across the ice on her belly like an oversized seal. She twisted around, and brought her mighty tail right into him. It was like being hit with a dump truck loaded with explosives on the front. Kedos's body was smashed down through the ice, and Charybdis dove in after him.
For the sea drake, it was like witnessing a paradoxical monster rushing at him. Charybdis's mouth was wide agape, her eyes glowing, and a deep, terrifying howl escaping from her mouth. Yet he was fearless. he had dealt with Stoorworm, and this hag was far smaller than he had been! Summoning the waters to his aid, Kedos lashed out, powerful hydro-made arms crashing down ontop of the charging draconian's head. Charybdis staggered, but it wasn't enough to stop her. A hit that would have downed any ordinary monster only made her angrier. Sharp pain lacerated across Kedos's stomach as her talons sliced across his chest. She then reared one hand back, ready to smach the sea dragon out of the water for more punishment...

The knuckles of the huge aquatic beast slashed through the water at Kedos, but the sea was the dragon's ally. It would not allow him to be struck down so easily. Swirling a great mass of white water around himself, the bleeding drake hid and shielded his body beneath the pale, writhing cover of agitated seawater. He underestimated the raw strength of the other giant though. Her hand came crashing through his bubbly armor and raked across his ribs. The Demon of the Deep howled in pain, his wail shaking the whole ocean like a tap of the finger on a whine glass, but, luckily for him, the blow from the goddess was both dulled and off center, so he merely suffered a single fracture and heavy bruising instead of losing the integrity of his entire ribcage. The slayer of Kharbios would not be thwarted without a bitter counterattack though, so he mixed his flowing blood with the churning water around him and focused in with a swing of his tail. Rotating around his low sluing center of mass, the dragon spun like a living whirlpool and cast a great crescent of water at Charybdis like a blade. The thin liquid ring impacted with the rough, sharklike skin of the potion cursed goddess and penetrated it, splitting skin and tissue to draw blood, but, while the same sized cut but would have half severed the slimmer beasts of the UCA, it was a mere surface wound on the underwater mountain of flesh and bone that was Charybdis and was easily shrugged off with an infuriated shriek and another lunge at Kedos Croder.
Grunting in disappointment and annoyance at the failure of his attack, Kedos kicked out and unleashed an enormous pulse of water that traveled down a narrow column. The pressurized blast burst across the giant's sliced hide and deepened the wound, the force of the eruption changing the shallow cut into something more respectable. Lips drawn back in pain and irritation, Charybdis was pushed back, even her tremendous girth moved by the power of the psionic depth charge. Kedos furthered the distance between them with a few lashes of his tail. Charybdis, eyes growing thin in both rage and satisfaction as her foe seemingly retreated, scattered the current that pushed her back with a wallop of her tail and chased after the dragon, her snakelike muzzle opening wide and sucking in seawater like a hellish vacuum.
Sneering as his massive foe closed in, Kedos, who had been fulfilling his need of the time and distance to prepare a proper counterstrike to such a godly enemy rather than any sense of cowardice, crafted a long spear of ice that neared his own bulk in circumference. With a psychic push, the dragon launched the frozen weapon. The great javelin tore a chilled path through the ocean and towards the yawning jaws of Charybdis, but she easily weaved around the pointed tip of the construct and wrapped her claws around it. Her ragged, sandpapery backside brought the sea to a chaotic boil of foam and bubbles as she thrashed it about wildly to show how unimpressed she was. Was this all the great king of the seas had to offer? her warlike motions seems to ask. Was this all that there was to the mighty Kedos Croder?
The son of Addon Blackbiter smirked before making a small gesture with his claws and detonating a series of pressurized water pockets within the spear.
Charybdis was battered by both explosion and debris, her thick hide becoming embedded with shrapnel. However, just like with before, the incredible creature merely shrugged off the damage and began advancing, totally undeterred, once again. Most of the jagged shards had not even fully pierced her skin, simply laying stuck beneath the surface or washing out of small, superficial wound in her surface as she swam. Eye and snarl growing wider, Kedos make a second gesture that would further detonate the shards, striking her beneath the skin and hopefully delivering his first true blow against the titan...

The sea monster hissed in irritance as the ice fragments ruptured along her side. Though the damage wasn't great, now she was bleeding from the minor wounds blown open from them... and with that, came smug confidence in the eyes of Kedos. If it could bleed, then it could die! He thrust his arms out, to try and summon the seas to his side... but he was denied. To his shock, Charybdis's mouth opened up wide, and water began to suck in, as wella s ice from above them. Faster and faster it was sucked into the raging whirlpool she was making herself be, and Kedos found himself being sucked in as well! Down, down he went, being twisted around and sent down toward the maw of his sinister foe...
CHOMP!
Pain filled Kedos's entire being as the ravenous Draconian clamped her jaws down upon Kedos. Sharpened fangs drove themselves into his flesh, impaling him all over. His own blood ran the icy waters red as Charybdis shook him like a ragdoll, horrible pain seizing his entire body, until she surfaced up out of the water and hurled him off. The bleeding form of Kedos slid across the ice, the ice itself now running red. Is that the best the whelp who calls himself "beyond the gods" can muster? Charybdis's voice hissed in Kedos's mind as she hauled herself out of the water, her claws digging into the cold ice as she made her way over to where Kedos lay. Admirable... but futile. Oh so very futile.
She lifted up her tail, to where it blotted out the sun from kedos's point of view, and smashed it back down into the ice. The very ice they were on cracked and heaved, and Kedos was flung into the air from the force of the tail slap, right in line for Charybdis to raise up one arm, and prepare to drive her elbow down upon Kedos and smash him into the ice...

With a flick of his tail, Kedos spun out of the way and hooked the plunging elbow with his axelike paddle. Adding his own weight to the crooked limb as it crashed down- something that, while ultimately near nonexistent seeing how dramatically the mermaid outweighed him, was supremely satisfying- the grinning drake watched as Charybdis shattered the ice like glass and skewered her own skin. The titanic sea empress's hide was thick and hardy, much more so than what most could boast, but an impact strong enough to drive bone against bone upon the jagged edges of the mangled polar surface was enough to flay it open. Narrowing her eyes as the ice ran red with blood and pain tingled through her arm like an electronic shock, the ruler of the Dragon Palace whirled around with an inhuman screech and fire a searing beam of gaseous heat at her smaller foe. Spearing Kedos in the midsection before he hit the ground, the vaporous streak of plasma suddenly become an explosive pillar of fire and smoke. Fiery eruptions ripped across the stomach of the dragon and sent him flying back with an open-mouthed gasp.
The Demon of the Deep smashed into the ice seven hundred meter away and skidded across the tundra, leaving a puddle of melted ice and blood every place he touched down. The Dragon from the Depths laughed as she watched this, her snakelike fangs flashing as she did and her finned ears flaring wide.
Rising from where he had finally ground to a halt nearly a full two thousand meters away, Kedos groaned, bloody spirals and fog filling his vision. The cackling of his towering enemy cut through the mist that hung around his head though, making his eyes widen in rage and his lips draw back over snarling teeth. The old drake spat splintered teeth and spoke with renewed vigor even as he bleed out and ached as if he had been run beneath the furious waterfall that legend told ran off the edge of the Earth. "I eat futility and use it to fuel my victories, wretch. I cannot be stopped."
Let's see if your heart can be then, hissed Charybdis into his mind before yawning her jaws and vomiting a torrent of swallowed water she had thieved from the ocean.
The blast of water and ice barreled at Kedos like a fluid train on invisible tracks of air, but the drake from the north stood his ground. The icy Arctic was his homeland! He would not be best here! Leveling a set of spread claws with the watery gush, the Storm Bringer parted the raging column of seawater and proved his title by swirling the spray that resulting into an expanding vortex of water and wind. As the storm grew larger, an orb of water that Kedos had gathered in his free hand grew smaller, pressurizing the water within its spherical mass and chilling it to stinging lows that affected even the thick-skinned drake with its chill. As the blast of water sputtered to an end and Croder was left with a set of talons raised high, he exchanged hands and unzipped the orb, sending a thin spray of water at his foe like an aquatic bullet. The narrow beam of brine slipped though the open fangs of Charybdis before she had time to close her jaws completely and carved the back of her throat open. Blood splashed down her gullet as the parted pink tissue waved and flapped furiously with every breath. Before the first spurt of red had ended, Addonson froze the swirling tempest of water around him, creating a blanket of sleet which he then launched at Charybdis with the force of a cannon and the spread of a buckshot. The mixture of ice and water froze solid as it whistled through the air and created miniscule slivers of frost, the smallest of which stretched no more than a single molecule across.
Like microscopic razors, the ribbons of ice passed through Charybdis and delivered a billion tiny wounds in the place of the one great on that Kedos wished he could inflict upon her- beheadment!
"You may be a mountain, fiend," growled the dragon through flared lips. "But a mountain is inflexible while water is the ultimate in adaptability. There is nothing I cannot achieve. Even your very blood is my agent!"
Seizing hold of the ruby trickles that ran through the sharklike dermal scales that made up Charybdis's hide, Kedos began freezing the tiny rivulets of blood into blooming spires of spikes in the hopes that the expanding spines would drive themselves under the skin of the monstrous mermaid and eventually upturn it...

It stung. Oh yes, did it sting. The upturning ice in her skin hurt, that much Charybdis was going to admit. It was like having a swarm of killer wasps gnaw and sting at one's flesh To think that such a creature as small as Kedos could harm her... she had to give him credit.
But that was as far as he would go!
Pain sliced along Kedos's stomach, catching the sea drake off his guard. His own blood flew across the air as a massive gaping slash, just above his hip, seemed to grow out of thin air. pain seized the sea dragon as he collapsed onto one knee, gripping the gory wound with his hands. That stopped the ice from ripping into Charybdis's flesh. She tightened her muscles along her skin, and one by one, the ice shards that had been growing popped and shattered. Her form was covered in blood that was dripping from the wounds grated in her, but she ignored that. One hand was held forward, ionized gasses crackling between the webbed claws. Words will get you nowhere, newt. Size, strength, and cunning are what wins battles, not arrogant claims and parlor tricks she mentally hissed, her own blood dripping out of her mouth.
"That power you use... is NOTHING compared to what I wei-"
Kedos was silenced as ionized gasses flew from Charybdis's mouth in a solid beam of destruction, and detonated against Kedos's hide. Pain engulfed Kedos's world as he was thrown back in a shower of blood, flesh and ice. He didn't stop until he crashed into a large ice spire, the entire thing cracking and collapsing on him from the force of the impact. He was caked in blood, his own blood. He tried to rise up, but it was already so much. How it hadn't killed him, he didn't know. Was it the UCA toning down the deadly blast, or was Charybdis still toying with him?
No matter, she had given him all the firepower he needed!
As the titanic sea monster approached bloody streams of ice launched out toward her. She closed her eyes, and twirled around, bringing her massive tail into play. The tail smashed through the approaching ice pillars before they could hit her, but that was just what Kedos had expected. A third ice spear struck her across the side, piercing her there...
And yet, there was still no sigh of pain coming from the titan. her eyes raged with flames, and she grabbed the spear with one hand, before shattering it between her fingers. With her free hand, plasma formed along it, before becoming a swirling disk, which she launched forward at Kedos, ready to bisect him where he was...

Struggling to suck in breath through the thick, gooey curtain of blood that fell over him like a heavy veil, Kedos stomped his heel into the ice and summoned a wall of particulate crystal matter and churning vapor that rose up in a flash of vaporization. The whirling plasma disc struck the fluid wall like a bullet striking water's surface and dispersed, shattered by the sudden change in medium density. Charybdis snarled in displeasure at her failure to cut the dragon down before her sneer parted with a shrill scream and a blast of gaseous heat. The monstrous mermaid bombarded the broiling wall of water and ice with a plasma beam, carving its broad surface to bits and making the majority of its area crumble, splashing back down onto the tundra and freezing solid. But the wall seemed to be all that she was hitting. Kedos had used the opportunity to vanish from sight, as evidenced by the gaping hole in the ice that was revealed as the wall collapsed.
Pain suddenly rocketed into Charybdis's flank from below as towering spires of ice formed like a virus, spreading across the icy ground that her incredible girth was slumped upon and spearing it with multiple sharp points. The weight of the UCA's largest monsters was suddenly a crippling weakness. Gravity pushed her down as the spikes heaved upwards. Even her tremendously thick hide could not hold up. Slowly being overturned as her skin was punctured, Charybdis howled in rage and looked for her foe. He did not seem to be anywhere above the surface and it was easy to guess where such an arrogant, bullheaded moron as Kedos would place himself. Like a shrieking aquatic banshee, the Queen of the Dragon Palace reared her hooked claws high and then slashed then down at the growing bed of nails that was sprouting beneath her, its crevices trickling with hot blood that carved them deeper. Tough talons smashing hard against compact ice, Charybdis not only broke the polar plain beneath her, but sent her claws plunging straight through!
And, by the rush of bubbles and red foam that rose up around her submerged arms, Kedos too had been caught by her massive swing.
Flopping into the water as the ice underneath her fell away, critically weakened by the form shattering blow, the Dragon of the Depths saw her foe writhing beneath the surface, his blue hide blazing with red. The dragon sported three large nicks on his left brow, as well as numerous sharp chunks and fragments of ice that had been lodged in his body when the ice shattered. Charybdis smiled hideously, showing all of her long, gleaming fangs as she smirked. Kedos, though he had had the chance to distance himself and continue the duel using long range weaponry alone- a battle that he might have at least survived- had been too stupid and thick headed to do so. Instead, he had stayed close, sticking to the action in hope of seeing her suffering. Blazing balls of plasma formed in her palms.
Now he would only see his own suffering unfold.
The clouded water around Kedos was suddenly illuminated by a string of bright explosions that encircled the dragon like lanterns, battering his bleeding form with waves of hot water and force. The drake hollered as he was sent tumbling back by the plasma depth charge. Another series of eruptions excited the water around him, sending him spiraling to the seabed. The Demon of the Deep impacted the soft ocean floor with a gentle thud and a hoarse grunt. The shimmering light of the sun was suddenly extinguished as the massive form of Charybdis descended upon the dazed beast, catching his head with a pair of swiping claws and sending him into another screaming spiral. Blood trailed behind the drake like a comet tail this time. Laughing silently, bubble spilling from her open jaws, the mountainous fiend prepared to fire another blast of plasma at her much smaller foe. Spying this with his bulging white eyes, Kedos raised his claws and poured his mind out at a single point in the water, just between the yawning jaws of the titanic sea creature. Turning the water to vapor and condensing it, Croder released the bubble suddenly and allowed it to burst, the underwater equivalent of a grenade going off. The blast, massive to a normal giant, meager to Charybdis, was nevertheless enough to shatter and detach many of her razor teeth and briefly stun the massive mermaid. Righting himself with a swing of his tail, Kedos propelled himself towards the surface and crawled from the water, gasping and spitting blood as he did.
In the water, he was a king. But this wretched creature was a god in the seas, fast as him and many times as large. He could not compete with her underwater, hard as it was for him to admit. He stood a better chance above the surface, where he at least held the advantage in maneuverability...

As Kedos hauled himself upon land, the massive black silhouette of Charybdis, having recovered from the stunning blow, swam beneath the ice, patrolling under the waters like a killer whale around a trapped seal. The ice cracked and heaved as water splashed against it, and beneath Kedos's feet, it was breaking apart as water splashed up through the cracks. All kedos could hear, as he prepared to summon the very waters to his side even as he bled, was the groaning cracking ice beneath him, and the soft sound of the waves...
And then, pain ruptured Kedos's world once more.
The sea drake cursed as the ice around him exploded and a fiery blue beam of ionized plasma blasted around him. He was hurled forward, his flesh charred and his wound bleeding as he flopped upon the ground. He lay there for a moment, as Charybdis's massive form hauled itself out of the ice, her reptilian eyes looking upon Kedos's form like a cat observing a dying mouse. She purred, before placing her hand over him.Kedos gritted his teeth as she slowly applied the pressure, as if trying to crush him against the ice.
That was when he retaliated. The very blood that was along the ice jutted upward and froze, forming rising icy spires that tried to push Charybdis's hand back. Charybdis hissed as they punctured her hand, but that scowl turned into a smile as she clenched her fist tight, shattering the icy spires before Kedos's eyes. Then, she once more placed her hands upon the wounded sea drake, and pinned him there, ensuring he could not escape.
You are a fool for trying to fight me. A brave and stubborn fool, but a fool nonetheless. Charybdis's voice hissed in Kedos's mind. You are not among the first to try to fight me like this... but you have gotten the farthest. That I will admit. You have skill beyond most who wield the ocean.
"That is because I AM the greatest weilder of the seas! All you have is your size, which will not save you from my wrath and power!"
Charybdis's eyes narrowed, and for a second, Kedos thought he saw something in the eyes of the monster... anger and hatred, mixed in with sadness and despair, torment and anguish all at war within her. You remind me of those Holy Knights where I am from. Like you, they are tenacious and foolish, and like you, they have challenged me and failed, time and time again. All they have caused me is pain and agony for their acts... And you happened to be another thing that got on my nerves. Maybe had you not run your mouth off, we could have been allies, but as it stands... prepare to die. A light began to flicker within Charybdis's throat, and as Kedos was pinned, Charybdis began to gather up internal plasma energy, to detonate upon Kedos right then and there, a blow he couldn't dodge....

The build up of plasma in her gullet grew and grew. Her many teeth were engulfed in the light as she prepared the most devastating blast her power could muster, all for the sake of obliterating the sea drake. Beneath her biblical size, Ketos struggled to no avail, his hands and claws raking at her limbs, but only causing slight scratches that could be brushed away later. Her head leaned back, eyes clamped shut as the final charge up finished and the beam readied to launch… Beam 'Em Up. Beat 'Em Up.. The blue skies darkened as a column of light was shot downward. As if a floodlight coming directly from the hand of God, the beam blinded the massive Charybdis. As she recoiled, eyes shutting from the brightness of the teleporter beam, a muscular figure came down like a falling star. He slammed into her head, between her bull-like horns, clawed toes cracking against her face. The beam she was prepping fired uncontrollably, utterly vaporizing nearly a mile-long, forty-meter wide area of land. Her serpentine head lifted and shook, eyes filled with hatred glaring at the newcomer. It was an unexpected arrival. She recognized him, of course, but never thought she’d come face-to-face with him, at least not on this day. Layer upon layer of white fur rolled with the winds as his tusked face unleashed a barbaric war cry. Rosie’s hulking form couldn’t care less about her girth and firepower. He wasn’t even concerned with how evil she was. His blue eyes, as cold and ruthless as even Charybdis was in this state, fell from her lifting body to the downed Kedos. She seemed to sense this. Tilted her draconic visage, the aquatic abomination spat directly into Rosie’s mind. “You can have what’s left. If you survive me, that is.” The Arctic Gladiator didn’t have the ability to vocalize a response in words, but the behemoth knew what her words meant. He tilted his head, his upper lip twitching. Lines of triangular teeth dripped with saliva. At his side, his three-fingered hands clenched into fists.,,

"I do not need you help... you dumb, senseless brute..." slurred Kedos through a mouthful of blood. "I do not need any help at all! I am Kedos! This is my fight... and... I need only myself!"
The powerful do not reject assistance when it is offered to them, Charybdis hissed into the dragon's black brain. The great monstrous female reared up and drew her talons back. Only the deathly stupid do!
The clawed hand swept through the air and swatted Kedos across the jaw, shattering the pearly curtain of his teeth and causing his mandible to cave inwards with an audible crunch. The stubborn drake was thrown off his feet and hurled nearly a thousand meters away, where he slammed down and shattered ice and snow with his bulk, carving a long groove in the surface of the tundra. Groaning, gasping, and snarling all at once, the navy giant staggered to his feet. One side of his jaw hung limp. Broken fangs fanned out from his bleeding gums like the jagged ends of bones. The dragon's legs- one fractured, one broken in several places- wavered weakly as he attempted to stand defiant against his foe, which only caused him to collapse to his knees. Thick vapor curling from his nostrils, the king of the ocean clamped his hand across the good side of his muzzle to muffle the screams as he froze the marrow in his ruined bones, created a sort of internal bracing for them. Pushing himself to his feet, the drake now turned his attention to his left arm, which dangled limp and lifeless at his side. The connective tissues between shoulder and bicep had been severed beneath the skin. A plated shell of ice wrapped around the dead limb, turning it into a stringless marionette to the puppeteer of his mind. A similar coat of moving parts then formed over the rest of the dragon's body, encasing him in overlapping sheets of ice like the pieces of a set of armor. Soon, only his head was left free and open to the world, though freezing mist already billowed over his skull, coating it with frost that glistened like chainmail.
"Knights, you say," murmured the old drake almost drunkenly. He swayed as he stepped forward, blood falling from his jaws in twisting loops. "I have known knights in my days. And as much as it pains me to admit, they were quite skillful at combatting what was bigger than them. Perhaps... perhaps it is time to test the integrity of their success..."
As a domed helmet materialized across the dragon's scalp, closing over his mangled snout like a second set of jaws- complete with thorny decorative teeth- the curved, saberlike thumb of the Storm Bringer found his wrist and sliced across it, opening the drake's veins and allowing a hot gush of blood to squirt out. Caught and held by the dragon's mind in the shape of an enormous double edged blade, the blood was used to form a forty-meter broadsword that extended from the end of the drake's arm like a second limb- a weapon literally extended from his being. Holding the crimson sword aloft, the blue behemoth glowered through the slits of his hinged visor and hissed a challenge to Charybdis.
"Come, monstrosity. Let us prove either your mettle or mine.

The eyes of the sea god narrowed as she hissed at the sea drake and the walrus. How irritating... for what was meant to be a one on one to be interrupted. And a Knight... how foolish indeed for poor Kedos. Then again... he would need all the help he could get...
For now, the great sea monster was about to present a trump card from up her sleeves!
From her back, her great energy wings extended to their full length, a dazzling display of plasma and blood that crackled in the sky. At the same time, the fierce storm that billowed around the fighters picked up strength, and howling winds blew across the frozen lake. Rosie and Kedos hunkered down, to prevent themselves from being flung around like ragdolls, the former with his claws, the latter with his new blood sword, but Charybdis... she welcomed the winds she was warping with glee. The powerful winds blew under her wings... and before the stunned eyes of the two rivals, the massive draconian was lifted into the air. It was not powered flight, for her wings did not beat, but as the winds concentrated around Charybdis, she was using them to keep herself in the air. Her eyes flickered as she let out a booming roar...
The one thing Kedos had over her... maneuverability on land, was no longer an advantage.
Coiling up like a serpent, Charybdis rushed forward in the air, spiraling toward the duo like an oversized torpedo. Rosie and Kedos tried to leap out of the way, but to their surprise, Charybdis's massive hands reached out and grabbed the both of them! They were smashed into the ground, then dragged around as Charybdis swam through the air, the very ice digging into their skulls and flesh. A sharp pain jabbed itself into her arm, and she was forced to let go of Kedos, a gash having been sliced through her wrist from the blood sword he had. She lifted up the other hand, the one that had Rosie's head in her grasp, and flung him into the air, the walrus hurtling upward in the sky... only for Charybdis to swim up past him, then twist herself so that her tail struck the walrus downward, sending the mammal spiraling back down toward the icy earth... right for Kedos...
She wasn't going to let them take her on so easily, even with 2 on 1...

Spitting blood and curses at his now airborne foe, Kedos raised his sword high over head and focused his hydrokinetic powers down its length. Slashing downwards, the ice armored drake condensed the snow and water that swirled through the sky into an arcing slide that caught and guided Rosie to the ground- though not gently. Despite recognizing that he had to chose his foes in this situation, Kedos still held zero fondness of the walrus, so he allowed him to crash to the ground in a heap. As long as he himself was not harmed in the process, he would raise no qualm against the abuse of the brutish mammal. Turning his scarlet gaze onto Charybdis, the old drake barred his teeth and dug his heel into the hard ice that stretched out beneath him. Swinging his sword, which was still imbued with all his psychic power, in a great circle, Kedos extended his mind and took control of every snowflake and water droplet that whirled within the vortex supporting the Dragon from the Depths. With a primal surge of willpower that equaled that of the old gods, the Demon of the Deep reversed the rotation of the ice and snow, creating a smaller, faster storm with the hurricane Charybdis had designed. Speeding up and expanding his maelstrom, the navy drake ruptured the larger storm, scattering its winds far and wide, though realized it would only stay that way very briefly. While his manipulation of the weather was limited, he did not believe Charybdis's to be, so he elected to act quickly and strike hard now.
Seizing control the icy debris that was left hanging purposelessly in the air after the vanquishing of the hypercane, Kedos formed a series of jagged spears and sent them hurtling towards Charybdis, who, without the support of the wailing winds beneath her wings, could not stay aloft and began to plummet. In the same moment that the monstrous mermaid crashed into the ground, shattering both the tundra and her own flesh with her massive girth, she was skewered on all sides, the twisting, hollow javelins pinning her to the ice in a horizontal crucifixion. Injured and bleeding hot rivers of blood over the ice, but otherwise unfazed, Charybdis reared with a howl and tried to rip herself free. Either the frozen weapons or her own flesh would give way, she did not care. She only wanted blood. But Kedos too was out for blood, so he detonated a series of pockets in the frosty stakes by vaporizing their liquid content and letting the expanding gas burst free of the ice. Charybdis was pelted by sonic fragments of ice as the spears erupted, the explosion leaping from one object to another as Kedos detonated them individually. Occasionally a fragmented which held a preserved chamber of water pierced the hide of the sea beast and burst again, upturning skin and flesh as the gargantuan goddess raged and howled under the string of explosions.
As the last of the booby trapped spikes shattered, Charbydis's anger materialized as a beam of searing plasma that slashed across Kedos's shoulder and demolished the ice armor there. The sea dragon grunted as he was sent grinding back on his heels, blood and skin falling from his blasted shoulder in a thick shower of living debris. Splitting the duties of his hydrokinesis, the old drake began reforming the armor across his shoulder, the ice soothing his gored hide, while also slashing forward his saber and extending it into a serrated whip edged by slivers of crimson ice. As the jagged lash raked across Charybdis's chest, the cutting edge of ice anchored itself in her flesh and expanded, forming a long furrow of jagged, stained ice like a miniature mountain range. Thrusting his claws forward, Kedos wrapped his mind around the raised scar of ice and attempted to push it further in with enough force to splinter it...

Charybdis fought with all of her unholy might to prevent the serrated blade of ice from ripping into her any further. She grabbed the sides of the weapon, claws digging in as Kedos’ mind met her brute strength. They seemed to be at a stalemate…
The female fiend’s eyes suddenly went wide as her body was thrust forward. The blade dove into her build, between the ribcage, as her legs slumped. Behind her, Rosie stood. The roaring walrus rolled his shoulders and snorted, lowering his hands. She was so focused, so determined… that she forgot about him. And all it took was a push to remind her of his presence. Charybdis dropped like a sack, falling to her knees as Kedos’ jagged ice chilled her innards and blood.
Before she could react, the Gladiator’s colossal fists came up, combing into one blow of immense strength. Driving his clenched hand down like a hammer, he clobbered the back of her skull with the utmost brutish of strength. Her head snapped forward and body fell, face planting firmly in the snowy ground. Upper lip twitching, the blue eyes of the beast looked back at Kedos…
As his foe lay at his feet, Rosie planted a foot upon her back. He crossed his arms and tilted his head, as if daring Kedos to challenge him. However, the bitch was far from done…
A faint glow caught Kedos’ attention, but Rosie failed to notice. Before either could react, circular disks of neon blue light catapulted. The sea drake lifted his arms, materializing a protective sheet of ice on them. The ion cutters sawed through the ice, cutting into his flesh underneath, digging to the bone while literally burning the blood and flesh into ash. The other disk struck Rosie’s side, making him fall to the side as the cutter sawed just underneath his ribcage. The walrus stumbled off of her fallen form, snarling in rage as smoke and embers ripped through the impact point…
Charybdis began to rise, “Puny animal.”

The hulking frame of the sea leviathan rose up, her own reddish blood dripping from her wounds as she glared at the fallen form of Rosie. her eyes narrowed into slits and a venemous hiss escaped her maw. He would pay for his transgressions. A massive hand clamped down around the warrior walrus, hoisting him off his feet against his will. Rosie flexed his muscles, trying to escape the titanic grip of Charybdis. However, his muscles and strength, honed in the gladiatoral pits and arenas renowned the galaxy over, were no match fo the sheer size and power of the Sea God. She began to squeeze, blood beginning to drip from the sides of Rosie's mouth as his body was put through the ultimate test. muscle and flesh were constricted, and it felt like his bones would be crushed at any moment, yet despite it, Rosie simply glared daggers at the draconian, showing no sign of pain. Charybdis sneered. "Well, I guess you just can't feel it. No matter, you'll feel having your body splattered against the lunar surface!" Her voice blared through Rosie's mind as she prepared to hurl him straight upward...
A sharp pain cut her short, and the next thing Charybdis realized, she was yanked back down to the floor, her grip on Rosie being released, allowing the bruised and damaged walrus to roll out to safety. She glared around herself, and realized she had been pinned, several massive ice chains wrapped around her body keeping her against the ground. There was no doubt in her mind as to who the culprit was, even as the chains tightened around her, digging into her ironclad scales.
"Kedos will be sure the walrus is his victim next, not yours!" Kedos boasted, as he flexed his arms down, tightening the icy chains even further. To him, he had her right where he wanted. Bounded, restrained, and easy to attack, so long as no one got infront of her. Once again calling the waters to his aid, he launched a stream of it at the side of her neck, the stream freezing into a frozen javelin...
What Kedos had failed to anticipate, was that Charybdis would use Splash.
With a single rebounding motion, the gigantic mermaid flung herself off the ground, the ice spear missing its mark. Kedos had no time to redirect it, as the spear struck one of his mighty ice chains, shattering it. With the chains weakened, Charybdis was freed, and plasma churned within her being, before being spewed out as pure destructive energy. Both Kedos and Rosie were blasted back, their flesh charred and blasted apart by the savage power, but Charybdis wasn't letting her beam up yet, as she began to close her mouth, yet kept the beam going, concentrating its deadly properties right for Kedos...
