Titernia could only let out a low groan as the fight was called. She... she won. She couldn't believe it. She had won!
She turned to her opponents before giving them both a quick bow of respect. She may not like them... but she acknowledged their skills in combat. They had fought well, even the fool guardian, Quetzar. With that, Titernia disappeared into a beam of light...

(Awww... disappointing, but hardly surprising. I foresee the victorious duo holding the title for quite a while.)
Quetzar attempted to huff disdainfully at the bow offered to him, but the sound that came from his sore, bloody, pain-pulsing chest was closer to a wheeze. Regret tingled at the back of the rage-possessed mind of the serpent. He truly wished that this had not been the battle where he was officially introduced to Kitamura. The alien bear was a creature of immense strength and honor, and he wished that his meeting her had been tainted by that abomination Titernia...
The Sun Warrior let his head droop with a sigh. He could not allow anger to rule him. That was what created creatures like Kedos and Titernia, always thinking that they know best in their rage when all they know really is destruction.
Well fought, my friend, came the psychic whisper in Talizan's skull. I hope that we may battle alongside each other again one day. Farewell.
The serpentine flier evaporated in a flash of yellow light.
