The youkai arachnid howled as she splattered against the wall, armor and exoskeleton cracking and splintering under the kinetic force at work. her mouth and mandibles were torn open in a primordial screech of rage and pain as her spear-like legs grabbed into the icy pillar, splintering and destroying it from the assault. She slid onto the floor, fluids and bits of meat dangling from her carapace, her mandibles rattling angrily against each other as she righted herself, just in time to see Yaku launch a frozen wave at her. Thinking fast, Volucris leapt back up, barely avoiding the attack, before firing several sticky projectiles down at the ice wielder. The webbing hit Yakura's chest and neck, but for the most part, bar digging into her flesh, it did not much...
Except for those that hit the beast's feet and binded it to the floor.
Yakura was quick to divert her attention and freeze over the webbing, so that she shattered it by moving, but that was all Volucris needed. She launched herself back at the frost master, her new webbed front legs striking the ice master into the chest. The combined momentum of the spider, along with the strength of the hits, sent Yakura sliding across the icy ground, with Volucris on top, now beating in Yakura's face. Once, twice, then three times the fists connected, sending blood and teeth flying, before she planted her back two legs and webbed front ones onto Yaku...
For now, she was going to use her side four legs to stab into Yakura's sides...

The appendages digging in Yakura's sides made her look like a large arachnid herself. The Chiller's head slipped back, a gasp escaping her mouth, accompanied by mist of cold air with her own blood in its midst. The cold cloud floated slowly upwards, drawing Volucris' attention to it as he shook her head to remove the annoyance of the frigid air in her face. This gave Yakura enough time to strike back; she blew a second wind of cold air which wrapped around her paw, covering it in a sheet of ice. Under the influence of the cold-hearted creature's command, the sheet of ice began to grow dozens of icy spikes, as though she was holding the flooring of a frozen cave in her paw. With her foe distracted, she was able to stab her spiked paw into the side of her face. Dozens of holes were dug, and the facial features of the demon looked like a bloodied dartboard afterwards, its crimson essence tainting the crystalline hooks. Worse yet, Yakura moved her hand around to increase the damage done, the wrenching movements indeed tearing the holes so that they seemed to connect with each other. Volucris grinned in pain, the side of her face flowing blood like rivers of gore.
The Great White Beast wrenched her paw free and slipped clean from underneath her opponent - the crystalline ground giving way to let Yakura sink in the water, immediately closing itself afterwards. Volucris was left alone for a moment, scanning the area for her foe. Under her many feet, the ground rumbled as the water shifted underneath it. Several hundreds of meters behind her, a shape rose slowly from the water - then standing cleanly on top of it - arms crossed and brows lowered. Yakura's arms soon unfolded, and a sheet of sheer cold caught her opponent. Chunks of her body were frozen solid. It was slowly overpowering, unforgiving.
The Frost Beast lashed out with her arms so that she formed a T-shaped with the limbs and her body, and the ice of the whole cavern and the one on Volucris completely shattered!
Legions of shards and icicles fell down and rained on the flooring, where snow still offered ground to stand on. Volucris was cut and torn by the ice and shards, as the chunks that were frozen earlier were ripped off and her wounds worsened by the falling knives of ice. Blood sprayed from some wounds like red birds, painting the snow and ice. A spear of ice was constructed by the stern warrior, its surface gleaming in the light that now came from the broken ceiling.
Mist flowed from Yakura's mouth with a sound like wind blowing outside of a window.
It was time to end this.
The spear rammed into Volucris' open chest while she was down and still partially frozen and shivering, digging deeper into it. Yakura thrust her fist forward and the weapon followed suit, aiming to pin the arachnid to the wall. Cold blue eyes remained fixed on the opponent, hoping to see this wretched creature remain stuck here and stay frozen in time so that it may not harm anything else...

Yakura would be denied of the blood of her foe, in that case. She had made a grave oversight, one that would be sure to cost her dearly. Silk fired from the abdomen of the arachnid, and latched onto Yakura's face. It constricted on her, tightening around the ice beast's eyes and flesh, cutting into them, but it also served as an anchor of sorts for Volucris...
Atleast, it would have had she not been flying as fast as she had. Instead of yakura bringing a stop to her flying, Yakura came along for the ride!
At the very least, though, the brief tug that had been there was enough to keep Volucris from getting impaled on the wall, instead only having her crash and sprawl on the ground, body a bleeding, oozing mess. Righting herself, she took the ice weapon lodged in her, pried it out despite the pain and blood loss that came with it, and hurled it right back at the sprawling figure. The ice spear shattered as it impacted the frozen warrior, slicing into her face as she skid to a stop. Thinking her foe was easy to attack in this position, Volucris leapt forward...
and recieved a frozen blast of ice straught into her aching chest. The arachnid howled as she received the attack straight on, but she refused to submit to it. Claws digging into the cave snow, she moved forward, doing her best to fight off the frigid blast. Yakura, too occupied in keeping up the frost breath, was shocked, internally atleast, as Volucris bright her twin webbed hands up and brought them both against Yakura's face, one on each side. Flesh was shredded, and the combined force of the "bop" rattled her brain. She crumpled to the floor, more out of shock and surprise than out of actual pain, which there was plenty of.
With that final attack, Volucris slumped to the floor, shivering and defeated...

"CEASE ALL COMBAT!" roared the Announcer, shaking the icy cavern and making several spires of jagged frost collapse. "THE MATCH HAS BEEN CALLED! YAKURA IS THE WINNER! I REPEAT: YAKURA IS THE WINNER!"
(Between the advantageous environment and her strategic brutality, the Chiller ['Cause this is chiller~ chiller night~!] delivered the greater amount of damage.]

The Frost Beast had heard the thundering announcement, which was translated in her mind, but her coldness was without pity. Despite her wounds, she mustered the strength to rise to her feet. Like a monster from a nightmare, she stumbled towards her opponent and again attempted to end her life, as there was not much of a victory in Yaku's mind if the enemy was not entirely neutralized, but the UCA was faster. A flash caught Yakura and teleported her in her quarters. She was dropped face-first in the snow of her new home. There was no danger here, and so the Chiller would tend to her wounds...
Nice battle! Get it? Nice. HAHAHA. Was fun!

As yakura vanished, Volucris righted herself once more, her mandibles cracking against each other. Worthless... Completely worthless! That was what she was! How could she even present herself to her own sister like this? This was an abomination, a disgrace for a fight! As she was beamed away, the arachnid let out a loud, angry howl into the cavernous depths...
This was not over yet. She would prove herself worthy of the crown...
