Cerataurus blinked, stark white light flooding her ten eyes simultaneously as she took in the pristine floor and distant wall. She had come to the conclusion that this place, whatever it was, was not home. She turned, claws clicking on the cool, hard floor, to face the visage of the creature she'd last seen firing a tranquilizer dart into her stomach. With a hiss of rage at the creature's nerve, the nerve to show up again after filling her with poison and taking her away from her home, she struck out, claws stopping abruptly with a crackle as they met a non-polarized force-field.
The thing with the invisible barrier smirked up at her, yellow eyes twinkling, then raised a hand to waggle one finger at her scoldingly.
"Temper, temper, beasty. Go around snapping at people and we'll have to put you on a leash."
Cerataurus snarled, tail lashing, then slammed her head into the bubble with only a bruised nose for her trouble.
"Don't play little miss innocent with me. You attacked our mining vessel. You're here because the alternative to entry into the Arena is us calling in heavy ordinance to have you put out of your misery. Be happy we didn't splatter you in front of all your friends."
The creature turned its dark-grey back to her, then flapped its wings, ascending to a platform that had not been their only a few moments before.
"Have fun. And play nice unless you're not supposed to. Heh. We'll have the rest of your little habitat moved in in a few megacycles. Until then, you've got food, water, and an unlocked entry gate, though I'm sure the staff is keeping an eye on you, so don't go and run a muck. Ta."
The platform glided upwards and out of Cerataurus' range of vision, the figure atop it smiling all the way up.
Smug little prick.
Cerataurus, who had no knowledge of any language currently spoken by sapient species other than what she'd recently heard spoken to her by her kidnapper and before, that, his associates, had nonetheless come to the above conclusion, if not in those exact words. She turned away from the place where her captor had stood, then traipsed towards the front of the room with a sigh. Water and food. Good, she was thirsty. Hunching slightly, the winged kaiju dipped her head into the colorless liquid and drank her fill, ignoring the food as she headed back towards the center of the room.
Bunching her haunches, Cerataurus leaped, smashing straight into the ceiling with a squawk of surprise. She landed in a heap, senseless with surprise if not pain, then rose to her feet and regarded the space above her. More barriers. Lovely.
With another hiss, this one expressing her contempt for the whole situation, she turned on her heal and loped back to the front of the room, where the wall had strange lines in it and a circular structure of which Cerataurus could make little. Though she doubted it would gain her anything, she threw herself at the door..... And suddenly found herself sprawled awkwardly in a long corridor, an open space leading back to the room she had woken up in.
Regarding the doorway for a moment longer, she turned towards the hallway and set out with curiosity, if a good deal of trepidation.

The Hub was filled with many sounds and sights, new to be beheld by such a new and curious creature. Some were friendly, others more antagonistic. Ability to distinguish which was which came with time, however. As Cerataurus stumbled to the halls, she came across the form of another, equally massive beast. Clad in ashen scales, the spiny form of a great reptilian curled around the corner of a hallway, a massive, thumping tail swinging around behind it. Suddenly, the form pulled out form behind the wall, a large hunk of meat hanging from in between its jaws as it exited from its resting chamber.
The beast soon spotted Cerataurus, and froze for a brief moment. The creature had a large, barreled chest and small forelimbs, though its hind legs were much bulkier but equally as squat. The beast's crimson eyes locked with Cerataurus', as it soon gulped down the large piece of meat. Its head was quite large, with deep-set but bright red yes and a single nasal horn. The massive draconian reared its spiked head, the horns around its cranium appearing like a royal diadem, before it reared onto its hind legs and let out a guttural growl.
The draconian then slowly approached Cerataurus on her hind legs, towering above her much shorter contemporary, as the long-necked behemoth began to examine the bat-like creature, keeping a sharp eye as to ensure she made no sudden movements.

Cerataurus hissed, backing away a step and shuffling the armor-plating along her back like a bird flaring its feathers. She blinked and eyed it, head cocked and tail lashing. She wasn't going to attack right away and flying any distance wouldn't be terribly effective, as in the relatively cramped hallway, the larger creature could simply reach up and grab her.
Instead, she decided to play nice, meeting the creature's gaze but engaging in no further agressive behavior.
She lets the other creature make the next move, be it a friendly greeting or an attack.

Haiiro-Kisaki flexed her upper lip, exposing a row of massive, spike-like fangs, along with her four massive teeth that lined the outside of her lower jaw. The massive beast flexed her claws before she backed down, the hulking behemoth of armor and muscle falling onto all fours with a sound of thunder, shaking the floor of the hub with her titanic girth. The massive draconian examined Cerataurus further, sniffing the air of the creature to examine its scent, as she reared her head above its own, looking around its body to determine if it was friendly or dangerous.
Finally, the examination had ended. Haiiro lowered her massive head to Cerataurus' level, before releasing a passive chortle towards the beast. The behemoth made a gesture with her head as she turned back the way she came, as if suggesting for her to follow...

OOC: May I join? What. The. Hell. First Rumaka had been stolen from his homeworld, and now he had to fight for the enjoyment of relatively unintelligent beings. He dismissed these thoughts for now, as something had caught his eye. Two beings, a draconian and a reptile-like bat creature, were interacting. He could tell they were powerful. For now, Rumaka would wait in the shadows, but if a dire situation arose, the benevolent creature would certainly intervene. He charged an Aurora Burst in his wings, just as a precaution. Hopefully, the horse wouldn't be sensed.

Cerataurus shied away at the examination, but follows when the other creature suggests it. When it examined her, she detirmined it to be a female while doing something of an examination herself. Good. She didn't exactly hate males, but many of them were obnoxious and had no grasp on subtlety or proper social conduct. She followed, tail swaying behind her as she padded after the much larger kaiju.
With ten eyes, it was hard to miss the strange creature lurking in the shadows, but seeing as it showed little sign of trying to ambush her, she thought it best to just leave the strange, scale-less creature be.

Haiiro continued through the hub, her heavy footfalls striking the floor of the hub as she moved on all fours. Suddenly, however, she caught a new scent... one that she had not recognized before. The hulking draconian, let out an uncomfortable roar, as she puffed up her body, flexing the rows of spines that ran along her back, examining the hallway ahead with extreme caution. Her eyesight wasn't the best, but she knew that the new scent was somewhere nearby...

Hmm... It was good that they were leaving him alone, but Rumaka was bored and needed something to vent his anger out on, so he set off planning a trick. The horse decided to play a nicer trick, and was only intrigued to see the monsters' reaction to what he was about to do, so he bathed the entire Hub in a shower of multicolored light, since he blended in with the light, nobody would suspect Rumaka as the perpetrator.

Cerataurus panics and takes to the air with a squawk, crashing into the ceiling, then both walls respectively, before nose-diving into the floor hard enough to shake it. She sits up, tugs her horns free with a growl, and glares around, eyes squinted into the multicolored light.
She's confused, but has a sneaking suspicion the cause of this little anomoly was the greyish creature that had taunted her earlier. Nothing she could do about it, but her ire was stirred all the same. Next time, she wouldn't react in the face of the alien's cheap trick.

The flash of light startled the hulking draconian, causing her to unleash a startled screech before rearing up to her full height. With a bellowing roar of dominance, Haiiro unleashed a pillar of flame from her maw into the blinding colors, engulfing the hallway with black-red fire. The Ashen Queen was never one to trifle with, especially when she feels she is endangered by an unknown foe!

Rumaka knew that the flames were approaching him fast, so he came up with a solution. He flapped his wings gently, creating a small Aurora Burst, enough to redirect the flames towards his foes. Rumaka breathed out with relief. OOC: Should the defense systems intervene?

Cerataurus, upon seeing the pillar of flames, spots Rumaka silhouetted by the fire and snarls.
So he was the one responsible. The hiding creature. With a venemous hiss, Cerataurus bounds forward, ignoring the flames, and pounces at Rumaka, pinning him with her horns, ready to gore him if he resists.
The automatic defenses fold out of the ceiling, training on all three monsters and preparing to fire...

Haiiro snarled, unleashing a bellowing roar that nearly shook the hub, before she took two heavy steps forward, blocking one way out for the equine monster. Haiiro flexed her jaws as she slowly approached her opponent, prepared to aid her newfound friend if need be...

Rumaka brayed apologetically, raising up his laser horn as a precaution. Up close, these foes were more intimidating. Rumaka came up with a plan, though. He raised the veil again, flying around at top speed. He readied an Azure Beam, but instead spun around while firing it, creating a dazzling, yet in a way, intimidating display. He topped it off with a Crystal Storm, warping the veil so it seemed like a vortex, still blending with the center. Rumaka marveled at his own work, in awe at the magnificent display of light. The vortex of light though, began to grow.

Cerataurus hisses, but takes a gamble and correctly assumes this is just more theatrics. She leaps at the horse, which foolishly made itself visible again, and things might have gotten very ugly indeed for Rumaku were it not for the Defensive Systems, which picked that exact moment to pepper all three monsters with heavy electromagnetic rounds, shocking and battering all three and stunning the fliers by temporarily scrambling their senses of balance and direction, causing both to fall to the ground in a heap.
A familiar figure appears, the grey winged being from earlier.
"I knew you wouldn't take long to make friends. Cute. But rough-housing...? I thought better of you. Let's take it outside, where managing is less liable to have a fit about broken furniture."
(Why don't we have this segway into our fight in the mountains? Do I make the thread, ir get the mod to do so for me?)
