The horse was determined to make friend out of foe. He attempted to gesture peace and show off his intellect. (Would Cerataurus understand animal tongue?)

(Yes. But entering her quarters would likely set off another attack.)

(Ah, ok.) Knowing better than to pick another fight, Rumaka brays one final time before speeding away.

(You can't become "immune" to a caustic toxin that destroys the plasma-membranes of cells, Rumaku. Nice try.) You don't get to say what other members can and can't do with their monsters. That's my job. And there's nothing special about venom destroying cell membranes in the first place - most venom does that to varying degrees. For a specific example of an animal being immune to dedicated flesh-destroying venom, look no further than the common kingsnake, which is immune to rattlesnake venom. On top of that, these are monsters we're talking about. They're allowed to bend the rules.

(Oh. Sure. Sorry.)
Cerataurus, having slept for the last twelve hours, rises to her feet, stretches, and exits her habitat air-bound, flying skillfully down the corridors to look for Hairo and anyone else.

Rumaka flies into a corridor and hatches a plan. Rumaka fires up his veil, moving around as fast as he could. The veil became warped, but the pegasus remained invisible.

Cerataurus flies down the halls of the hub at breakneck speed, searchign for Hairo. She arrives in the main hall, lands amid a sparse gathering of other monsters, and calls out to her friend.

However, Haiiro was nowhere to be found in the hub. Rather, the controllers of the beast had the beast sent back to her living quarters, shutting the doors to her pen in the process. The draconic beast heard her partner's cry even through the walls of her chamber, and let out a chortle of reply, clawing at the door, only for twin arms to grab her shoulders and force her into a private healing tube...
Another being had heard Cerataurus' cries in the process. Loud thumping could be heard, as a large, crustacean-like claw grabbed the wall, as an antennae-clad head emerged from around the corner. Six sapphire-hued eyes glanced about, before they spotted the form of the bat-like beast once more. With a snarl, the beast emerged from the corner, revealing itself to be Vishnu. The creature hissed, and gestured with one of its claws, as if suggesting it wished for a fight...

Cerataurus eyes Vishnu, then crouches and hisses, her recently re-grown stinger flexing in and out of its sheath in her tail. This creature had hurt her friend. She was more than willing to fight it.

The mammoth crustacean takes two heavy steps forward, flexing his toe claws as he unleashed a powerful roar. The beast clacked his claws as he eyed Cerataurus. He had learned his lesson here... fighting in the hub was a less-than-stellar idea. He would play by this realm's rules...

Cerataurus knows from past experience that the fight will not take place here. Spreading her wings in challenge, she roars at Vishnu, multiple rows of silvery teeth flashing in the stark light of the Hub, then she waits for the teleportation beams to take her to the outside....
