Description: The Nucleaphage, like many other kaiju, was awoken by nuclear testing shortly after World War Two in the Nevada desert after hundreds of millions of years of slumber. It feeds on nuclear energy and leaves a trail of radioactive death in its wake, its mere presence enough to cause catostrophic damage to human beings and electronics.
It is a towering, hulking creature of thorny black chitin and pulsing amber veins, standing on two thickly muscled and armored legs terminating in three huge claws. Its head is eyeless and noseless, a gaping, tooth-filled maw its only concession to traditional biology. Though coated in a heavy layer of spiked skin and chitinous armor, the Nucleaphage's sides are shot through with massive, amber-glowing bioluminescent stripes where radiation is taken in, processed, and gradually re-released. It has two long, extremely powerful arms which are tipped with three massive, opposable clawed fingers arranged in a circular pattern. It boasts a long, powerful tail tipped with enormous, wickedly sharp spikes and a pair of crescent-shaped blades which are capable of flexing in and out like the blades of a scissor. Its shoulders are incredibly broad, and boast multiple spiny extentions bristling from either side outwards and forwards. Its chest is also armored and bowed foward due to the huge, thick armor there which, you guessed it, has yet more spikes protruding from it. Its Bioluminescence runs from the base of its head to the tip of its tail in a thick stripe.
Personality: Single-minded and detirmined to a fault, the Nucleaphage's number one goal is and always will be to feed. That isn't to say it is stupid. Far from it. If confronted with a problem or an opponent, the Nucleaphage will study their every feature and action until it is confident it can simply plow through the problem, which it usually can. If it can simply ignore a problem, it usually will. This goes for conventional military attacks and weaker kaiju. It isn't that the Nucleaphage has a sense of honor or chivalry- more that it's too lazy to go after things that can't actually hurt it. But when confronted with an actual opponent, the hulking monster is as brutal and direct as it is cunning. The Nucleaphage is also capable of speech and limited telepathy, though it seldom bothers with either. It sees no reason to converse with monsters it will only have to fight later on and despises the UCA personel too much to even consider communicating with them.
For unknown reasons, the Nucleaphage has a weakness for riddles. It enjoys telling them to the few beings it deigns to communicate with and absolutely loves to learn new ones. Solving one of its riddles or teaching it a new one is a sure-fire way to get the Nucleaphage's attention and respect.
In a somewhat ironic twist, it abbhorres puns and hearing several may drive it into enough of a rage to attack, also eliminating any chance of having a conversation with the creature.
Attacks:
Punch- The Nucleaphage balls its three massive claws into a fist and slams them into its opponent. Capable of knocking down and stunning small to mid-sized monsters due to Nucleaphage's own massive size and physical power.
The Nucleaphage can channel electromagnetic energy into its punches, boosting their kinetic impact and thus increasing their power.
Slash/jab- The Nucleaphage rakes its claws at an enemy. Capable of cutting through most skin or inorganic mesh that isn't heavily armored.
Ground-pound- The Nucleaphage channels electromagnetic and kinetic energy into the earth to guide a powerful kinetic shockwave out to stun and upend monsters at range. Has a 360° blast-effect and works on any monster on or within 20 feet of the ground. Monsters in close-quarters range will be pushed away and stunned more severely.
Body-slam- The Nucleaphage rears back and slams forward, sending any unfortunate monster in its path flying with spike-holes in its chest and face to show for it.
Bite- The Nucleaphage puts its formidable jaws to use, crushing and shredding the body part its fanged maw comes in contact with. In opponents that function on nuclear energy, this can also be used to drain them slightly.
Tail-whip- Stuns, lacerates, and sends (most) kaiju flying.
Electromagnetic pulse- A powerful shockwave of electromagnetic energy and radiation. Stuns and burns all creatures at close-range. Stuns mechs regardless of range
Plasma-blast- The Nucleaphage releases a burst of low-temperature red plasma ray from its mouth, which will burn and explode on contact. Roughly as powerful as Showa Godzilla's atomic ray.
Tail-grab- The Nucleaphage seizes its opponent by the neck or a limb and cuts deep into their flesh. This attack can cut off air and even decapitate or dismember smaller kaiju, though both of the latter are banned within the arena and thus not applicable in battle.

Atomic Firestorm- The Nucleaphage channels its energy into a focused blast of blue nuclear plasma exceeding temperatures of 40,000 degrees kelvin. The ray takes roughly 4 seconds to charge and lasts for roughly six. As powerful as Burning Godzilla's Spiral Ray and more long-lasting.

Energy immunity- Most energy attacks do reduced damage to the nucleaphage, due to the fact that its body is designed to hold immense amounts of nuclear and electromagnetic energy. Attacks of an atomic nature will actively feed the Nucleaphage
Immovable object- While budgable, the Nucleaphage's large size, broad stance, and overall design make it almost impossible to actually knock off its feet.
Nuclear drain- Monsters or mechs that run on the power of the atom are walking buffets for the Nucleaphage and should be extremely cautious at close range with the creature, as mere proximity and contact have a draining effect.
Heavy armor- The Nucleaphage is obnoxiously resistant to attacks meant to cut or pierce.
The Heat: The Nucleaphage is a walking nuclear reactor with an internal temperature hot enough to... Well, it's hot. Thus, the Nucleaphage is very resistant to raw heat and fire, though heat-base attacks may still have an effect, if focused into something such as a laser.

Heebie Jeebies: Attacks that utilize dark energy bypass the Nucleaphage's specific resistances to a degree, though "hellfire" or "dark energy" blasts will still deal reduced damage by simple nature of being thermal and energy attacks respectively, the damage reduction simply isn't nearly as severe due to the addition of the dark energy.
Powerhouse: Electric attacks that occur inside the Nucleaphage's EMP field will disrupt said field and disable it momentarily, also stunning the Nucleaphage itself for a second or two.
