Pain was all Crigan could feel as his body hit the volcanic earth. He gasped for air, eyes blinking rapidly as he tried to see what was around him. All there was... was white. He was blind, still recovering from whatever flash that had been. He whirled around, hoping to pick up some form of life... and then he stopped.
"Well well, if it isn't Crigan" A deep, reptilian voice reached his ears. He didn't need to see who it was to recognize its owner. "Been a while since we last met. My jaw still aches from that present you left me when you broke out of jail."
"I had no idea your skull was that fragile, Tyralus." Crigan spat, enlargening himself to his full size. Already, the white blinking dots were vanishing, and he could make out the hulking figure of the reptile before him. Dark purple blood dripped from his claws that flexed where they were. "Decided to try and use me as a weight loss machine?"
"No. I picked up your scent, and decided to give me and Scylla some proper exercise. You will pay dearly for making a mockery of Hell, and your little band of friends are getting their do as well."
Crigan's eyes narrowed, and he shot into the air like a rocket, only for Tyralus to jump up after him and smack him back down into the earth with a shriek of pain. The Death God crumpled where he was, blood oozing from the slash marks left along his face. "Now where do you think you're going? No one said you could leave. This is a grown man's discussion, and you don't get to leave until I say you can leave, which will be when you're nothing but a pile of bones on the ground! Now, why don't I introduce you to Persephone's new pet?"
As if on cue, the ground around Crigan erupted into a sea of hellfire, burning away at his flesh and skin. A massive clawed hand erupted from the earth and smashed Crigan's skull back down, a venomous hiss escaping the serpentine mouths of Scylla as she glared down at her prey. She reared her head back, preparing to lunge down, when a fireball under her hand forced the Hellfire Hydra back, howling as the force of the explosion nearly toppled her, giving Crigan enough time to rise up, then twist around and slash Tyralus as he tried to strike Crigan, sending the overweight reptile crashing to the side. Crigan ducked, avoiding a lunge from Scylla, the momentum causing her to go crashing into Tyralus, both of them sprawling into a pool of molten lava. Crigan waited, breathing heavily as he locked onto a series of air bubbles rising up from the lava, before unleashing a Focus Blast right as Tyralus and Scylla erupted from the lava. The blast nailed Tyralus in the gut, before detonating, a howl of rage escaping the maw of the tyrant as he was flung back. Scylla, however, slammed full force into Crigan, the sheer weight of the giant hydra bowling him over. Three massive jaws clamped down upon his body, one on his neck, one of the head, and one on the belly, before hoisting him up. Fangs pieced his body, causing his blood to drip down Scylla's necks.
And then, hellfire spewed out of the mouths and blasted Crigan right in the open wounds.
It was a pain unlike anything he had felt at the UCA. His insides were being liquified, he knew it as he crashed along the side of the molten lava. He tried to force his body to rise, to get back up and fight, but it failed him. A pair of powerful claws gripped around his neck, and Crigan was raised up to the eye level of Tyralus, the massive reptile grinning madly as he flipped Crigan over his head and smashed him against the ground with a thud. Blood coughed out of the mouth of the god, only to be met with more blood as a slash across his face jerked his head to the side. A piece of the golden mask flew off his face, and dug into the earth, only for Tyralus's foot to come crashing down on it, crunching it underfoot. "What's the matter, Crigan? This is almost too easy." Tyralus hissed as the clawed fist came back down, blood filling Crigan's eyes as he was dragged across the ground.
"You... are digging a grave for yourself." Crigan spat. "Don't you realize... There are far graver threats... that you and Persephone should-"
Scylla's foot came down on Crigan's head once more, silencing him as his tongue was caught in the bite, the appendage cut off as blood gushed from his mouth. "I don't care what bunch of hillbillies, neanderthals, and hoodlums come here claiming to be the biggest and the baddest bad ass here. You know why?" Tyralus hissed as he placed his own foot on Crigan's back, and then ran it down, the talons shredding his flesh apart, blood flowing from the rips in his back. " Because I am the biggest, baddest bad ass of them all, and no one can take that title from me." Tyralus laughed, as Scylla shifted her foot further down Crigan's neck, to let him see the ensuring triple hellfire beam that would end his mortal coil, once and for all...

The pain that raced through Crigan’s entire being was unequalled. His heroic eyes closed and his mind was ready for defeat. If he fell here, it wouldn’t be the first time. Surely, it wouldn’t be the last time. He had been denied death and each time he had been put under, like a phoenix, he rose even more powerful than before. It was a process the entity was ready for. The heat being generated by all three, demonic maws of Scylla, so close to his body, was almost soothing, warming his body from the sheer blood loss he had now endured.
A few sizzles came from the ground. The noise of moisture hitting the volcanic rock and magma pools.
It wasn’t much at first, but as the collection of hellfire charged in the hateful muzzles of Skylla, the sheer amount of rain increased. It took all three titans off guard. The dark skies, filled with swirling clouds of smoke, opened up. Sheets of rain fell, causing a mist to rise up from the water touching the heated landscape. Scylla and Tyralus looked up and around, taken by surprise from the unexpected downpour. Following the harsh rain, wind began to kick and flashes of lightning and deafening thunder howled…
An angry God had arrived.
The voices of the unknown began to speak. Like a legion of angels, they declared in harmony, reciting a modified, classic children’s prayer from the 18th century…
Ass I lay me down to sleep… I pray my soul is mine to keep. My soul can never step outside this bed. Never. Into all the evil. … All the evil.
… Now back from the dead.
A crack of thunder caused Scylla to step off of Crigan’s back. All three of her scaly heads looked around frantically. As did Tyralus, but in the thick steam that blanketed the battlefield, it was hard to even see the flashes of light in the sky and the red explosions in the distance from volcanic blasts. Then, a different voice rang aloud. The voice of a male, stern and powerful, but something with malice.
“Are you scared?”
Tyralus hissed and bellowed aloud, unafraid of the sudden chain of events. “Show yourself!”
The mysterious voice quickly retorted. “Kneel before me.”
A shooting pain ripped through the lizard’s legs as a crescent-shaped flash of purple light cut into the back of his knees. He collapsed forward, landing on his knees quickly. Skylla looked back, watching as her ally collapsed to a kneeing position. She spat ferociously, but before she could respond, an invisible force grabbed all three anaconda-like necks. The three-headed nightmare struggled, but the hold was unbreakable. As if she were a weightless rag doll, Scylla was launched aside, back hitting a large cliff face like a cannon. The volcanic rock shattered into shards and came down in an avalanche of magma and rock, half-burying her.
Weakened, Crigan’s head looked up. Blood spilling from his nostrils and jaws, the hero coughed. “Who is there?”
From the mist that covered the area, a figure began to approach. Hands at his side, but glowing purple like his horn and sword-like bill on his head, the entity spoke once more. “You forgot about me already? I know it’s been a while, but come on.”
Thresher had returned!
As he closed the distance to Crigan, the differences of what he once was and what he was now became extremely apparent. Gone were all of his cybernetic enhancements, robotic arms, and unnatural armor. He had returned to an entirely organic body, but his blue armor was even darker now.
Thresher looked down at Crigan, “What are you doing here? Two on one now? Are you trying to get your ass killed?”

"Not exactly." Crigan growled as he managed to rise up. "How are you still alive? I saw Orsa vaporize you."
"Don't you know?" Thresher sneered, arms crossed infront of him. "I am the god that never dies."
"A god, you say?"
The voice came not from Crigan, but rather from Tyralus. Thresher swerved around to deal with the recovered giant, but Tyralus hit him in the stomach with a full powered punch, the fist twisting as it impacted the hide of the shark, knocking the air out of his lungs and forcing him to stagger back. "Don't make me laugh. You are no god."
Crigan lunged forward while Tyralus's back was turned, and his jaws clamped shut on the beast's right shoulder. Tyralus howled in rage as blood dripped from the bite, before reaching over with his free arm and stabbing his claws into Crigan's side. Still, the serpentine god refused to let go, his body now wrapping around Tyralus's own, forcing the reptile onto the ground, before launching a fireball right into the wound at point-blank range, the resulting explosion engulfing both fighters...
As Thresher recovered, an ear-rending howl shook him to the core. Charging toward him, all three mouths fuming hellfire gasses, was Scylla,a trio of Hellfire beams spiraling toward him. The shark reached out with his mind, and for a second, it seemed as if he had stopped them right in their tracks, his own telekinetic powers ready to shove the beams back to the source...
Atleast, until the beams spiraled to the left and then exploded against his side, throwing the war god off his feet, charred flesh blasted off and blood oozing from the injury. His own growls of pain, and the booming thunder of the summoned rainstorm were only drowned out by the triple howling roars of the Hellfire Hydra as it advanced forward, more flames spiraling out and washing over Thresher...

The flames that blanketed the sea demi-God raged on, blocking the psychotic titan from view for a brief moment. The three-headed thing sneered, believing his opponent had been annihilated. Embers from the inferno drifted into the air, giving the dark clouds an eerie glow. However, the raging flames suddenly parted like the Red Sea. The very ground shook, splitting apart like widening jaws. The crevice raced from the split flames and to beneath Skylla. The hydra’s legs split apart, stumbling as the ground opened wide.
His three heads looked around before locking on Thresher rising from the blaze. The shark’s eyes burned with violet eeriness. His tooth-lined sneer grew wide and head tilted. The ground that had split underneath Skylla erupted, giving birth to a mountain as tall as he. Chunks of rock and dirt flew in every direction as the mountain split, blowing up into a massive set of jaws. Rocky teeth extended and the jaws clamped, wrapping around the entire body of Skylla.
The hydra was engulfed, trapped within two massive mounds of volcanic rock. The lava that flowed from the rock acted as saliva, drenching the thing in boiling heat. The serpent screamed in a mixture of rage and agony as its entire body was swallowed up by the maw of volcanic hatred. Then, the jaws began to pull down, dragging Skylla into the eternal abyss of the wasteland…
His eyes still glowing, Thresher looked upon the other servant. “Surely Crigan can deal with at least one of you on his own…”

Sure enough, Crigan was locked in combat against Tyralus, the Hellian Commander howling as the Death God hurled him away with a blast of pure energy, Tyralus smashing against the ground with a thud, scales scorched and warped from the hit. He staggered up, swiping some blood off his face, before the first fireball impacted his stomach. He staggered back abit, but still held his ground, before the second one detonated in the same area, nearly knocking him off. It was the third and final fireball that did the trick, and Tyralus was thrown off his feet entirely, and crashed down, landing at the feet of Thresher. "Oh, I can hold my own just fine..." Crigan said, a broken smile on his face as Tyralus tried to rise back up.
"Who the hell... do you think you are, messing with me?" Tyralus spat, eyes flaming with rage. The mammoth reptile rose, his form eye to eye with Threshers, as an ear-splitting roar blasted from the depths of the volcanic landscape. Crigan leapt back as the very land erupted in a sea of fire, an elephantine bellow signaling the return of a raging, furious Scylla. The three headed dragon stared down Crigan, the Death God gritting his teeth. He had expected Scylla to not recover that fast from Thresher's attack... Looking back, Tyralus laughed. "Your little trapping trick didn't work. Hellfire Hydras are an amazing race, fueled by fire and lava... But where are my manners? The name is Tyralus, second in command of the entire Hellian army, and you could say that I am a god of war. You think you're some bigshot because you got fancy psychic powers?" Tyralus howled in laughter, and Scylla joined in, her three heads cackling with glee, fiery plumes of hellfire spewing from the hydra's mouth and twirling around the combatants like swirling clouds, ready to punce at any moment. "You're nothing compared to be, boy. let me show you!" He stepped forward, clawed fist tightening as he aimed a punch for Thresher's face, while Scylla spewed out a wall of Hellfire at Crigan, who fired at her with a Fiery Blast...

The punch came hard and swift, causing the shark to stumble back. One or two of his sharp teeth were knocked from his jaw and fell to the ground below. However, Thresher’s black as night eyes blinked and his jaws cracked as he snickered. The shark’s telepathic voice spoke directly into the minds of his enemy’s. “I’m not even going to bother introducing myself.” His head looked over, watching as the hellfire catapulted from Scylla’s many muzzles, “You won’t live long enough to remember the name.”
Suddenly, the streams of fire twisted and turned. Skylla instantly ended his flamethrower-esque tactic, but the streams of fire spun about like an out of control fire hydrant. The streams of hellfire ripped through the air as if demonic lightning, whipping the surface of the ground as they snaked around Thresher’s body.
The shark’s clawed hands lifted up, dragging the three streams of fire closer. The inferno began to race around his body as his eyes glowed an eerie purple. “Your boy seems proud of his little fire tracks. Let’s see just how much a punch they pack.”
“Did you not hear WHO I AM!?” Tyralus raged, stomping his foot so hard that the volcanic rock split and spat a geyser of lava.
“Do you honestly expect me to give a shit?”
The flames wrapping around his body shot out, lancing through the air before smashing full-force into the faces of Skylla and Tyralus. The titans were floored, dropping to the volcanic battleground as their torsos were blanketed with Skylla’s own hellfire streams. In the blazing sea of fire, limbs and tails lashed back and forth, their bodies being cooked by the demonic flames cast by Skylla.

Crigan was quick to add his own attacks in with Thresher's own. The Death God reared his head back, the mask glowing brightly, before unleashing a Fiery Blast down upon the thrashing titans. Tyralus screamed as the blast connected, the fiery heat igniting the blood of his that was dripping from the wound.
Thresher sneered as Tyralus's body erupted into a sea of flames and blood, the tyrant's howls of pain echoing across the molten wasteland.
Alas, he hadn't expected to be greeted with a trio of hellfire beams to the face from the raging inferno. Thresher was thrown onto his back and floored, the deadly beam assault ravaging him as Scylla emerged from the inferno, all three heads letting out elephantine trumpeting roars as the hydra approached. Crigan was quick to come to Thresher's aid, smashing into Scylla's side. The Hellfire Hydra trumpeted in rage as it almost fell to the side, the massive tail coming up and smashing Crigan away to where Thresher was.
From back in the inferno, Tyralus emerged, a large chunk of his side missing, no doubt blasted apart by the explosive blood. "You... you DARE to deal with me? I command entire armies, and have seen beings more worthy of being called gods perish by my hands!" Tyralus snarled, as he staggered toward where Scylla was. "Kill them both... Persephone won't care for a dead shark and worm."
Scylla trumpeted in response, bringing her massive tail down to where both entities lay...

A collosal “THUD” came from where both Crigan and Thresher lay as the muscular tail hit them like a hammer on an anvil. Both warriors snarled as they began to stir, but the tail came down again. And then again. The shark gritted his teeth, his doll-like eyes surging with an unholy might. The tail lifted a fourth time, but this time Thresher’s right hand lifted. An invisible force caught the tail and a push of telepathic power sent Scylla stumbling forward.
It wasn’t much, but it allowed Thresher to climb to his feet. The three-headed thing spun, jaws hissing and slobbering. A stream of hellfire flew at the charging, twisted guardian. However, the boiling hot fire splashed across an invisible barrier. Thresher leapt and spun, tucking his head and arms in while keeping his fins extended outward. They burned with energy as he turned himself into a literal buzzsaw. He came down like a meteor, striking both Tyralus and Skylla like an toothed meteorite.
The demons of hate screamed outward as the fins cut into the forms and the impact sent them flying in opposite directions, a trail of blood following each. Thresher landed on his feet, eyes furious as he lifted both hands, commanding the volcanic rock. Just as the titans would come down, a fissure opened up like a set of jaws, hungry to feed…

Scylla howled in rage as she plummeted toward the fissure. Her tail wrapped around Tyralus as she latched onto the side of the fissure, claws digging trenches into it. She had managed to hang on... barely. She swerved all three heads around, eyeless skulls locked right on Thresher and Crigan as she hauled Tyralus up, flames gathering in her maws...
"ATTETNION! This fight is against proper UCA etiquette! Stand down at once, or be blown to pieces." The voice of the UCA blared out, loud and powerful. Along side it, came numerous weapons, lasers, rockets, blasters, all aimed at Tyralus and Scylla, and ready to fire on a dime. Tyralus growled as he saw the firepower aimed at them. Damn... there was no chance of surviving it.
"Very well... I guess you get off lucky today, both of you." Tyralus sneered as Scylla vanished in a bright light, already being whisked off the battlefield. "But let this be a warning... we've already tasted your blood... And we'll be back for you. THere will be suffering ahead, and net time Crigan, you won't have old Shark Boy to save you." Tyralus reared his head up, and booming laughter escaped from his maw as he too was teleported away, leaving just Crigan and Thresher there...
"Uh... Thank you for... coming to the rescue." Crigan said as he faced the telepathic shark. "I'd probably be dead a second time if you didn't know up..."
