Bio
Name: Nifgin Nockvew
Title/Nickname: Crazeface
Height: 93 meters (305 ft)
Length: Inapplicable; no tail.
Weight: 70,000 tons
Appearance/ Description: Black skin with grey and off-white hues all over. The body is long, thick, and looks to be heavily muscled, even thought it’s rather flattened. The body is also slightly hunched at most times, the long, white bristles on its back looking as if they weigh it down. The legs of the monster are rather thick in comparison to the arms, which aren’t thin in the slightest. The arms are rather long, the forearms being as thick as the biceps. The hands have short, strong fingers with thick white claws. The forearms are covered in short black bristles, and the shoulders have bone pauldrons. Longer and thicker bristles, leading up to the top of the neck, cover the upper arms. The head is human-shaped, aside from the strange helmet bolted to the back of the skull. It is a tall, rectangular plate that thins out as it moves toward the front. When you look at it from the side, it looks very similar to a MX bike helmet, aside from the whole thing being as tight as can be, with no pads inside. The area that covers the mouth is tight against its jaws, a plate going over it so the more ornamental section can go farther from the rest of the head. This means that if you so inclined, you could pull this beast by the ‘mask’, but that’s not a good idea. The face is contorted, the eyes widened by this distortion. But the eyes have no true color of their own, being as clear as glass. A green light emanates from behind them, and there is a crack going across the pupil. The mouth, although covered by the plate over it, has its upper lip above the eyebrows, teeth poking through a good portion of its face. It has no nose, so it looks though it cannot breathe. But it can actually move its mouth from behind the plate for a few seconds to expel brain enzymes. When the helmet was bolted to the skull, it caused the skull to crack in a way that since the helmet was so tight it couldn’t heal right, and that caused an infection that constantly produces a sort of puss-like enzyme. So the monster must spit out these enzymes or it will drown. When it does move its mouth, there are about a dozen teeth all interlocked and slammed shut. The corners of the mouth, although they should be covered, are at the upper sides of its skull. The top of the helmet ends at the top of the back of the skull, so the cranium is left bare. But no bristles or even skin grow there, just heavily reinforced bone fused with the bolted plate. The monster has no tail, and has thick interlocking plates of biosteel all over it, like a sort of living armour aside from bone.
Personality: This is when it gets complicated. See, when the plate was bored into the monsters skull, the beast went insane. But it also felt both incredible fury at this and a natural instinct to survive. So, the mind grew three different personalities. One was the maniacal, crazed and frenzied barrage of insanity. The other is a brutal, unrelenting, physically oppressive monstrosity. And the final one is one that rarely shows itself; a being devoid of any emotion or instinct, aside from the instinct to defend itself. But when it defends itself in this state, it goes completely overboard, capable of killing monsters that come anywhere near it. The first two personalities change back and forth, marked by distinctive vocal sounds; the insane one that most monsters encounter first has a sadistic sneer, with the monster screaming manically while pulling uselessly at the helmet every once in a while. The brutal side has a guttural growl with tremendous, rage-filled roars. They change whenever it is struck hard in the head, even if it does it itself. The final ‘personality’ makes no sound, not even of effort when it attacks. There are three types of tactics it uses-
Crazed: Frenzied, unorthodox, and over-the-edge. Will try to do one attack while in the process of another. It has no sense of picking out weaknesses or thinking of a strategy; just rushing at its opponents while flinging its arms around in an attempt to injure its opponent till the point of victory.
Brutal: Domination, simple, physical as possible. All it knows is come back again, and again, and again, and again, until the other monster can’t take anymore.
Instinctual: Savage, beat-down, make sure the other monster will not attack it. But it will never attack without provocation. Only lasts for a short time, then will switch out with one of the other personas.
Powers:
Nerve Switch- This monster feels no pain, and attacks from other usually just fuel its drive of aggression.
Mind Switch- When this monster is struck in the head with enough force, either the crazed mindset or the brutal version will be the dominant phase. After several (about five or six) of said switches, the instinctual arrives. This means that most monster strategies won’t work with certain mindsets, meaning that you’d have to be able to think on the fly. Also, when in the brutal state, Nifgin exhibits a strange, unnatural strength it has only in the instinctual version. This makes it punsh well above its weight, literally.
BioSteel- The skin of Nockvew is covered in a material very similar to strengthened steel, protecting it moderately from cuts and stabs.
