But Vonro moved faster than Kedos hoped, roaring as it barreled at the blue giant. It stuck its arm straight out to the side, and clobbered Kedos in the throat, slamming him hard to the ground. Vonro roared in rage, stomping once on the ground as it howled into the sky. It turned towards the downed monster, now getting up, and it walked over to it. It sped up as it got closer, Kedos oblivious at the moment. By the time it knew what Vonro was up to, the purple beast's foot planted into his face, splitting his lip badly and causing him to fall on his chest.
Kedos roared, and with a flick of his fingers send his own blood into Vonro as daggers, makign the purple beast roar as it fell to the ground in pain. Vonro was able to land on its knees, not having to indignify itself by falling flat. Kedos couldn't possibly care less.
"Now you realize what you got yourself into?!"
Kedos glared at the monster before him, as it started to rise. It had pulled the blades out of it, and threw them to the ground. It glared at Kedos with an almost equal level of rage. It got up, and roared at the monster as it ran. Kedos ran as well, the two of them seeming to shake the entire earth.
When Kedos swung one of his fists, Vonro was able to dodge, and in so was able to find a decent opening. It planted its knee into the gut of the blue behemoth, causing him to flip over the leg of Vonro and land hard into the sandy surface of the Wasteland. Vonro then jumped, ready to hit its foe with its entire weight...

The purple bruiser crashed down onto Kedos, clobbering the dragon with 65,000 tons of raging flesh. But, just seconds before the impact, the sea drake flared every scale on his body, turning his hide into a bed of spikes. Both combatants howled as they were split open: Kedos by the sheer weight, Vonro by the rolling carpet of serrated blades that was the skin of his foe. Both fell like slain gods after a battle that spanned eternity, staining the sandy landscape with scattered rivers of blood, but Kedos, his mind streaked by rage, lashed out and turned his enemy's very veins into weapons. Flattening and turning to long blades, the blood that ran through his body slashed outwards, peeling his skin back and tearing into open air like rogue serpents abandoning their master. The spiraling tendrils of blood found the claws of Kedos, who had risen from the ground, his body sleek with red wetness.
"You wretch," growled the blue behemoth hoarsely as he wrapped his talons around the hydrokinetic tethers. "I'll have your head for that!"
With a bestial roar, the sea monster hauled on the bloody ropes like the world's largest angler. Vonro fought against the tyrannical tug, throwing his formidable girth in the opposite direction, but his weight advantage was only a slight one and Kedos had greater counterbalance in the form of his hefty tail. The sand shifting beneath his legs, Vonro was reeling towards the Demon of the Deep until a powerful jerk on the crimson lasso ripped him off his feet and into the swatting tail of Kedos. The stiff, ragged paddle bit into his shoulder like a rusty axe and drove his body limp into the ground like a weighted flail, splashing sand like water as he cratered the desert.
Pulling once more on the borrowed veins of the beast, Kedos attempted to drag Vonro to his knees and directly into another brutal slap from his tail...

Vonro was exhausted; never befor ehad it met a challenge quite like this. It was unable to breath straight, and was being tortured by the veins now out of its body. But strength had not left it entirely. No, and Kedos would know this soon enough.
Kedos was oblivious to this, but it's not liek he had any reason to; he was easily in control. Has been for most of the match. He pulled on the veins, forcing Vonro to its knees. Kedos roared in satisfaction, and decided to taunt the beast with a sudden kick to its chest, knocking it down yet again. And again, Kedos forced Vonro up, this time to his feet. Kedos prepared to attack again, but then Vonro got second wind.
A tremendous roar exited its jaws, and it charged Kedos. The blue terror had no idea it would even have the strength to do such, but it was even moreso when Vonro grabbed Kedos by the waist with both arms, wrappign around its girth. Vonro roared as it lifted the beast off the ground, and slammed Kedos hard into the ground. Kedos roared in pain by the impact, as he was lifted a good two-thirds of his original height, and all his weight slammed into the sand. But Vonro wasn't done, as he rolled him over onto his back. and started a viscious assault.
Vonro threw his forearms savagly at Kedos' skull a total of five time, bloodying the creature's face badly. Vonro roared in rage, walking away backwards. Befor eKedos could recover from the sharp pain all over its face, Vonro ran back to it and slammed its foot as hard as it could into Kedos' skull. Kedos was unable to keep himself from rolling in the sand, his face burning from the slashes of the spikes and aching from the kick.
Vonro readied to kick him in the head again, but this time jumpe dup to stomp on the head of Kedos...

The head of the sapphire serpent cracked back with a yelp and a spray of blood. An angry bellow ripped out of the dragon's chest as he flopped to the ground. The arctic drake rose with a wordless howl, the water under his scales peeling off his body like a raging whirlwind. Vonro was forced back by a wall of spinning ice fragments, even the desert sun failing to cut through the cold veil of Kedos's rage. The barbaric hero growled as his body was diced open by the tiny airborne blades, his blood joining the whirling frost and tinting it red. Letting out a distorted roar, Kedos threw his claws out and blasted the rotating shield outwards. The pulse of ice and water broke harmlessly over Vonro's burly form, but the force of the shock wave was enough to push the wind from his chest and make him stagger. Dazed, the reptilian humanoid struggling to stand in one spot, his feet shuffling clumsily so that he did not drop straight down. Ragged outline slumped and bloody, Kedos lumbered towards the stunned monster with claws curled into vicious scythes.
"Do you not see?" gasped the dragon through the blood and spittle that clogged his throat. "I cannot be stopped. I will not be stopped! I am Kedos! He who kills gods! He who does not die even when willed to by the stars! You cannot defeat me. You cannot even hope to. I am beyond death. Beyond life. Beyond grasp."
The half-mad drake slashed his claws into the throat of his foe, the hooked reaping blades passing easily through flesh and spilling hot curtains of blood that splashed over his arms like liquid sheets of rich crimson. Curling his lips back and swinging his pearly teeth forward, the dragon lunged for the slit throat of the other reptile with the mind to tear it out entirely...

But Vonro was able to catch the face of the other reptile before it could tear its jugular open.
"You've been facing puny gods!"
With that, Vonro raked his arm backwards across the throat of Kedos, blood spraying from his neck. Keods would have roared, but Vonro's next attack was too sudden. He slammed his foot into the gut of Kedos, making the monster bend down slightly. Vonro then hooked the beast's head under his arm, and bashed his head against the sandy ground. He planned on compounding Kedos' pain by raising his arm, starting to bring it down on the back of Kedos' skull...

The savage brute swung down, but it was now his turn to double over as Kedos slapped his tail against the ground, spraying bloody sandy, and plowed into his midsection. The reptilian biped wheezed as he was tackled to the ground, his rib-like armor slashed with numerous, crisscrossing lines by the serrated hide of his foe. Saberlike claws interlocked behind his back and a set of pearly teeth sank into his neck, filling Kedos's mouth with the hot coppery taste of blood. With a muffled bellow and a tremendous flex from his thick legs, the dragon lifted Vonro clear off the ground. The muscular tail of the drake flailed high in the air to counterbalance the mass of the held hero.
Then, like a heavenly warrior casting down a defeated demon, the Storm Bringer hurled Vonro to the ground!
The purple bruiser howled as all 65,000 tons of his girth came crashing down onto his curved spine, racking his body with pain. The violent guardian did not fall peacefully though, as he lashed out with his serrated forearm as he plummeted, cracking it across the sneering face of Kedos just as he hit the ground. So while the lizard man writhed, the Demon of the Deep staggered, blood oozing from his brow and making his skin slick. Sputtering in rage as his split forehead sputtered crimson, the northern drake spun on his heel and swung his spiny tail paddle towards the downed Vonro, hoping to swat him across the face and return the favor...

Vonro raored as it was struck hard in the face, blood spraying due to ragged scales. It got up slowly, and thought heavily. Kedos would not allow this, and charged at the purple guardian. Vonro responded with a savage shot with its right arm to the face of Kedos, ripping his flesh up even more. Kedos roared in pain, but Vonro wasn't done.
He then charges the blue gargantuan, and slams its arm into his throat. Kedos was instantly leveled by the strike, roaring in both rage and pain as it hit the blood stained sand. Vonro slumped to its knee, exhausted. It was so tired, didn't think it could go on. But it had to.
And it still had one more shot.
Vonro inhaled deeply, steam starting to rise from its maw. It's face started to glow, as the energy from within started to build. Kedos looked up, and roared as it got up to try and stop Vonro from firing its beam again. BUt it was in vain, as the Ultraviolent being fired its weapon, it ripping into Kedos and sending sand cascading into the sky hundreds of meters. Kedos roared as his flesh was burned by the beam, and when he got up he had to think fast as Vonro came in with his foot prepared to impact Kedos' skull...

The heavy foot slammed into the burnt skull of the drake like a meaty hammer against brittle anvil. The blow split charred flesh and sent ash-flecked sheets of blood tumbling down either side of the sea monster's head, but Kedos refused to be pushed back down, his teeth gnashing and talons sliding through stained sand as he stood rigid against the overhead strike. With a rumbling bellow, the Demon of the Deep swelled upwards, shoving Vonro backwards! As the purple brute tripped over his own feet and began to fall backwards, legs pedaling futilely as he fell, Kedos summoned a curved blade to water to extend from his forearm and slash Vonro hip to shoulder! The blood that spewed from the long wound was quickly drawn to the tip of Kedos's sword, creating a compact orb of crimson water.
"Was that your final move then?" gasped the Storm Bringer, his sooty lips flaking as he spoke. A long run at the UCA had given him a good impression of when matches ended and an even longer career of war against other titans had taught him to spot the resolution to end fights in other creatures. "Impressive enough, but I am still standing. Your endgame failed. Now allow me to show you mine. Prepare to face the beating heart of the ocean, you worthless mongrel."
As those words rolled from his tongue in the form of a hateful hiss, the seven-hundred-year-old reptile lunged forward and sheathed his blade in Vonro's chest, plunging the bloody orb deep into the body of his opponent. With a roar that rattled the sky, the dragon tore the sword loose, pulling it from between two of the rib-like armor plates that guarded the core of his barbaric foe. A second later, a muffled explosion: the bloody ocean heart erupting within Vonro's body cavity, pulverizing his innards and causing scarlet streaks to appear from all of his open wounds and orifices. The attack was quick, precise, and merciless.
The third was routine for the dragon, but the first two were unusual.
The simple fact was: Kedos wanted this fight over. He wanted his victory to be decisive.
No grand clash. No glorious duel. No gloating as he stood over his rival.
Only his foe sprawled defeated at his feet.
Staring down at his enemy, Kedos staggered. His liquid blade unzipped and vanished into the parched earth soon as it splashed to the ground. Generating a sword would usually be no problem, one of the lesser things the power of Kharbios could achieve, but the hellish heat and absence of any natural water source meant that Kedos has essentially dried himself out. His serrated hide was now weak and thin. Though he had mocked the other monster for the failure of its final move, in truth, he had taken a great risk as well. If this fight was not over... if Vonro were to rise once more... he would have little by means of defense or attack.
In short, he would be helpless.
So now the drake merely glared down and willed his opponent to stay down until a victor was announced...

CEASE FIRE AT ONCE! THE WINNER... IS KEDOS! I REPEAT! THE WINNER IS KEDOS! NOW BOTH FIGHTERS RETURN TO YOUR LIVING QUARTERS AT ONCE!
(OOC: This was a fun fight. Both warriors gave it their all, but I feel Kedos did more damage to Vonro than vice versa, giving him the win here.)

(Good fight!)
Kedos sneered as the announcement boomed across the desert landscape like a bellow from god. The monstrous reptile snorted derisively and lashed his tail, spraying blood across five hundred meters of sand. The black droplets pointed towards the dragon like a giant arrow.
"You see?" the drake drawled, his voice slow and tired. Blood loss was draining the energy from his body. He would not be able to stand much longer. "To fight against me is futile."
Luckily, before the dragon collapsed, he was teleported away in a flash of light. The brilliant explosion plucked him from the desolate wasteland and dropped him straight into a regeneration tank. The Demon of the Deep sighed and let his body go limp as the rejuvenating green liquid soaked into him, soothing his pain and knitting his wound. The scarred eyes of the sea monster fell closed as if two anvils were anchored to his brow. Though the regenerative fluid healed his wounds, there were other forced at work, weighing the blue brute down.
"Futile," murmured the dragon into the thick healing soup.

Vonro grimaced at the sound of the announcement, then grew angry at the boast of Kedos. It couldn't stand overconfidence. Hated it. Loathed the thought.
And it would take any foe that dared show this trait to its limit.
(Was fucking awesome)
